Sun and Moon is a beautiful, small Korean restaurant on the corner of 5th Street and Warren Avenue in East Providence, RI. It has a lovely ambience and a friendly, courteous staff. Their not-too extensive menu is filled with a variety of appetizers, soups and main entree dishes with detailed descriptions of each dish beneath each Korean named item. Most importantly, the food is Great!! I highly recommend Sun and Moon.

This is a nice mom and pop restaurant. We came here years ago when they only occupied one small side of the building. Although I do find the portion size for the price paid is somewhat lacking. The last time we came I had the beef stock soup and it pretty much tasted like water. I will probably frequent again if we are in the mood for Korean AND are in the area. I wouldn't go out of my way just to go here again until those issues improve.

Great food! First experience with Korean food and really enjoyed. Could not have had a better first impression. I ordered the spicy pork with kimchi and found it to be delicious. The restaurant is small but the service was great and the staff was friendly. Will definitely return.

An absolutely excellent meal, fresh, flavorful, the staff are lovely, we felt very well taken care of, this was our first time there we will be back. I would recommend this place completely, everything we had was delicious! If you haven't been, you should definitely make a plan to go here.

Sun & Moon is a, hole in the wall, family run business. I come here to get my Korean fix at least once a month. They serve you seasonal banchan (free veggie appetizers) which is a total plus. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting some authentic Korean eats.

An apparently family owned and operated restaurant and the family obviously takes a lot of pride in it. The space is small, but not cramped. The servers and everyone else are very friendly and helpful, especially if you aren't familiar with Korean cuisine. Then there's the food, which is authentic, perfectly prepared and well presented. Everything I've had has been excellent!

Took my wife for dinner, four Korean women walked in after us, told the waitress we was here first, we was told it was going to be a 20-25 mins wait. The four women was sat before us, I guess b/c we didn't speak Korean. Spoke with the owner and walked out and enjoy our dinner else where

Food was amazing, the owner and his wife were very informative as was the the waitress answered a lot of questions. I was stationed in Korea for a year and this brought me back to include the soju in a kettle! Only in area for 2 weeks but definitely plan on returning before heading back to Maine! Even took kim chi home with me it is awesome!!

BE CAREFUL!! I got terrible food poisoning from the kimchi and pork bibimbop. Probably staph aureus bacteria or norovirus. I was in bed for a couple days throwing up. I used to eat here quite a bit but never again! PHEW!!

Food is a great. But I have an allergy to shellfish, so I am limited on what I can eat. Food is sometimes inconsistent in ingredients. The black bean noodles may or may not have shellfish based on day, as I've had them without it, but recently they say there is some in it.

Tried their seafood tofu soup, M28 Unagi (Eel) in Dol-sot and beef bulgogi. The tofu soup does not have any seafood and spicy flavor at all, the tofu is “grounded” in to pieces. The Unagi rice is still wet and watery, there’s suppose a little well cooked smell and thin crunchy rice in the bottom if the rice is fully cooked but none, the eel meat taste muggy. The Beef bulgogi is sweet, the white sesame makes this dish smell really good. The beef is over cooked and dry. I think this dish should be served in a hot stone plate, but it is not in this restaurant. Overall, the food is pricy and average and the restaurant is small.

Have been going to this family owned korean restaurant for over 10 years. Still the original owners and no matter how long between visits the food is always excellent. If anything the dishes have become even more refined. There is something on the menu for just about everyone. From basic vegetable dishes, to marinated meats, to spicy squid topped dishes. I have been to other korean restaurants locally and always go back to this one.

If you are craving for legitimate homestyle Korean soup in a city where there aren't that many Korean options, this place hits pretty close to the mark. They have certain dishes that other more modern Korean restaurant may not carry in the PVD area. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you're into food exploration. They have various types of seating and can even accommodate large parties, but I would make a reservation if you do decide to go with a party of +4.

THE FOOD IS WONDERFULL AND THE PEOPLE ARE SPECTACULAR. I've never been to Rhode island without stopping here. I strongly suggest the udon noodles and galbi these are both not spicy but if you like spicy food I suggest the kimchee gigae.

We always get the spicy pork bibimbap here and it's always excellent. we also always get the milky white Korean wine which is really good. The Pickled cucumbers they give you as a starter are always really tasty. I love to cover them in hot sauce.

Very good food. Ordered the traditional way of getting a wide variety of items and sharing everything/family style. A bit pricey for the small portions. The Korean pancakes are delicious. The sweet garlic wings are super tasty. The miso soup was delicious. The dumplings are great, the dipping sauces are very good. The kimbop is so good. I would recommend this for a single person, couple or family W one kid. But for a large family dinner style, too expensive. My picky child liked the chicken wings, rice and bulgogi.

Decent Korean food, but way overpriced. The chef came out and asked us how the food was, we told him it was good, but we were a bit disappointed with the beef (at $20 we expected a larger portion- ~ half the weight of the beef was bone and fat). The Chef then proceded to justify his dish by telling us how the beef costs HIM $20+/lb and that he loses money on that dish. And with that I won't be going back.

Nothing short of amazing! The flavors will blow your mind, Fresh ingredients, well prepared and served with a smile. We started with the vegetable fried dumplings, which were well done and not greasy at all. I had the BiBimBap in a bowl with beef and my boyfriend had BulGoGi. So little sauce, but so much flavor. The restaurant is small and in an area of East Providence few people visit, but it is safe. They'll give you chopsticks, but forks are available if you need them. If you like good food, this is the place to go. Absolute perfection.

I am so glad that I found Sun & Moon shortly after moving to Providence. I've been a regular ever since! I have never ordered anything here that wasn't excellent, but my go-to remains the bulgogi stew. Their marinaded beef is deeply flavorful and stands up well to the rest of the ingredients in searingly hot broth. The chicken wings are great, too: crispy, sticky, umami, sweet.

Authentic Korean food in a city that is traditionally Portuguese...food was so fresh and portions are large...my coworker had barbecue that he said was some of the best h ed had ever had...I had the bibimbap and holy cow was it addictive...even when I was burstingly full I couldn't stop eating it...the crunchy chewy rice at th he bottom of the traditional stone bowl was like crack...you just couldn't get enough...plan on going back very very soon!!!
