Have been enjoying this place for many years. Staple, Italian American food. Pizza is also pretty good. Similar to Olive Garden but, in my opinion better. The Italian bread is very authentic. Chewy crust tender inside.

Went yest at 230 bought tour of italy special lazonna was over cooked put fork in it , it was mush an waiter got food ....never came back for fill up drinks, napkins ,ketup for my sons fries, an even if needed any more bread, or even ask how meal was..?

Stuffed manicotti was rubbery like it was just a reheat. My drink that I ordered was way too strong. It was supposed to be a mix of vodka and juice, but I feel like I got straight vodka with a drop of juice for color. Drinking it was giving me a head ache. Will not be going back.

We had a great time and dinner tonight. Jill, our waitress, was really great. I hadn't been to Spumonis since I was a kid, about 15yrs ago, and tonight was a nice surprise. We ordered a the calamari app, the mushroom app, the Sicilian tour, and an assortment of their meatballs and sausages for the table. Delicious. Great night, great staff.

The food was delicious and always seems to be very consistent. As we were a party of 7 and our waitress had other tables she was waiting on, I found the service to be very good, but at times we were patient in waiting to get our server's attention as she was busy with her other tables, she was very pleasant, and very helpful, but I can not say the service provided was excellent, I'm sorry

Prices are good, staff is very good, but food is hit or miss. Specifically, any dish with meatballs or the mix of whatever they use to make meatballs. I've been there twice, had the meatballs and Italian sausage the first time. The sausage was very good, the meatballs fell below the level of cheap frozen meatballs. The second time I avoided the meatballs and ordered the lasagne, made with Italian sausage, it was very good, except for the meat paste used in the layers. The waiter explained that they used the meatball mix, then added ground Italian sausage. That's not what it said on the menu! I wouldn't have ordered it had I known the meatball mix was in it. The tasty Italian sausage was entirely lost in the meat mix.This restaurant hinges on Italian food, it's been in business for decades, why cheap out on the meatball mix? I was told that their customers love the meatballs. Sadly, people get used to almost anything. Frogs in a pot are happy to be there and never notice as the water comes to a boil.

I've never had a bad experience when coming here. Sue, the bartender is very charismatic and professional. Dave (w/ glasses) is another phenomenal worker. You will get great service, and in my opinion, enjoy your time spent here better with one of these two individuals. Not to knock the other staff, just these two have went above and beyond and have earned business.

This is a local favorite... and the reason for the success comes from upper management and works all the way down to the "bus boys". Everyone is extremely kind, friendly and they really take the time to get to know their customers. The service is great, the energy is awesome, and the food is fantastic... whether you want appetizers, like stuffed mushrooms, or a pizza to watch the game with, to chicken parmesan... you cannot go wrong!

We had reservations here so the wait wasn't an issue for a super busy Saturday night! But wow, it was packed, and for good reason. Everyone's food looked amazing, I ended up not getting an Italian dish and it didn't taste like an afterthought like most places' non-specialties do, it was delicious just like their Italian dishes, so props to them for putting the same amount of care into every dish! Drinks were good as well!

We have frequented this restaurant twice. The first time in 2018 during the holiday season. We were vastly disappointed. We figured we would give it a second chance and see if it had improved. It hasn't. Everything about the place screams outdated- from the decor to the smell. We can put that aside however and talk about what matters most: the food. I ordered the veal parmigiana, my wife ordered the baked scrod and mashed potatos. Kids ordered pizza and a burger. My veal parm was basically a sea of cheese and (canned) sauce smothering the overcooked veal. The burger was a flavorless overcooked frozen patty. My son took one bite and couldn't finish. The pizza tasted worse than the square pizzas you buy in the frozen section of the market. The scrod was so overcooked it was rubbery, and the accompanying reheated frozen mashed potatoes tasted like garlic with a side of reheated frozen potatoes. I normally try very hard to find one decent thing about a new place- this had nothing. The waitress was friendly enough but getting her to our table was a task in and of itself. I will also mention that this is not a place that seems to be frequented by an ethnically diverse population. This place will never be frequented by myself or my family again. Extremely disappointed doesn't even cover it.

Disappointed , 1st time going here heard good reviews so gave it a try i got the chicken parm with spaghetti and for $17 a plate they should be serving real chicken breast not chicken pattys & the sauce was so plain tasting i didnt even eat , my husband ordered the fruit del mare & his seafood wasnt cooked all the way clams were still raw & he ask for red sauce with it but it was mostly whitish clam sauce he loves seafood & he didnt eat his food either .

Favorite local restaurant, super delicious food. Great, friendly staff. Been going here since I was a baby and I will continue to go. The new renovation is over so they're back open and better than ever. Sometimes the wait can be so long. But it's much worth the wait because the food is so flavorful and teeny have great portions and reasonable prices.

This was our first visit to Spumoni's and we were totally impressed! Our friends ordered seafood dishes and we ordered traditional Italian pastas - all was amazing ! Besides the food another highlight was our super cool, server James. He was friendly and personable and very good regardless of the fact it was very busy. We will definitely be back.

Oh boy, where do i start... The food is delicious and I've never had a problem with service. That being said, I put on a St Jude benefit a couple years back, part of throwing a benefit is getting people to donate gift cards or items for the raffle. Spumoni's not only donated a 50 dollar gift card, they told me to come back each time i am putting a benefit together and they'll do it again. Great atmosphere and even better employees.

I have gone here countless times for the weekday lunch buffet. Great value and great quality. That fish ( guessing its Cod because it's so flaky) with the breadcrumb topping is unreal .. I could eat that everyday!! Although it's a limited buffet menu all of the items taste great and always replenished, keeping it fresh and appealing. Staff are pleasant and atmosphere is good. What more can I ask for? Go give them your money and fill your belly!!

We ordered a corned beef Saint Patrick's Day special. The soup was just warm got cold quickly. Both all of our meals arrived promptly but we're both just barely warm, again got cold quickly. The meals and the soup were tasty, but would have much better had they arrived hot. It was obvious the bread was left out uncovered because all of the edges where somewhat stale and the middle was fresh. Our waitress was very nice. And checked on us accordingly. Possibly a mistake expecting an Irish dinner from an Italian restaurant?

1st time we went here, very long wait WITH reservations, and very loud. Next time we went, we had reservations again, had to wait half an hour. We asked the hostess why it was taking so long because we had reservations, she said we didn't make reservations it was only a call ahead. So we ended up leaving and going to uncle tonys with no wait, sat down right away, no need for reservations or "call ahead". uncle Tonys is so much better!

I remember this place fondly, but after going twice recently for the first time in many years I can say the food was quite bad. I had salmon one time. The salmon was bland, it was nothing more than just a cooked filet. Completely and utterly plain. Something I could have easily done at home. The pasta side wasn't great, and had cheap flavorless parmesan. The second time I went I got a veal dish, which was just soggy and bad. Very disappointed both times.

I was recently introduced to Spumoni's, and I love it. The decor is outdated, and I wouldn't recommend it to a true foodie. That being said, the food is delicious (just not inventive) and the staff is amazing and friendly. Their garlic bread is one of my favorites!

Its a great Italian restaurant. With friendly service good food and great desserts. There is a upstairs for banqueta and its wheel chair accessible. The restaurant is huge and gets very busy. So sometimes you find yourself yelling so your party can hear you.

We felt very uncomfortable. We were the only black family in the restaurant, and they seated us in the center isle. Everyone was staring as if we were some kind of spectacle. Thankfully we have very well behaved children. A corner would jave been nice where I noticed other families with small children were seated....We ordered the stuffed lobster and it had mostly breading and very little lobster. They charged us double.... $160 for someone elses bill...... and then charged us for our bill and we had to wait for a refund... suppose we didnt have enough to cover it? Then what? Next time we'll be going to Olive Garden. The bread is better.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch. There was a buffet, we looked over the buffet and decided on trying it. The food looked and taste delicious, somehow the food was cold even though it was in the closed hot pans. My friends coffee was cold. I asked if the waitress could microwave the coffee, she said she'd make a fresh pot. It began to get busy, our waitress was busy with newly incoming people, therefore we couldn't talk to her about. My friend and I were happy we had a buy one get one. I'm not a complainer, I have learned over the years to speak up. We will go back again, we will get a meal off the menu, not the buffet!

The good: craft beer on the menu, had the Ravenous, was excellent and was served in a cold glass. Bread was fresh and delicious. Entree was tasty, but pasta was not fresh cooked but reheated (nuked) and was slightly over cooked. Service is quick and friendly. Prices very reasonable. The not so good: upon entering the building there was an unknown odor near the host station. But it disappeared on the way to the table. There was a fly that kept flying around the table while there. While reaching for the bread noticed a fruit fly on it. Salad arrived with oil and vinegar as requested. Noticed things floating around in the vinegar. It is somewhat dark and dank inside the restaurant. The Verdict: not going back any time soon.

It's a local pawtucket staple. Been coming here for years. The food it decent, the service is good with a welcoming vibe. And you can't beat the buy 1 get 1 free meal coupons that they send you once a month, if you sign up with your email. My go to meal is the chicken parm...can't go wrong with that.
