Was horribly disappointed in the service we received last night. We waited over45 minutes for our dinners and when they arrived they were lukewarm. We were ignored by our server and when We advised them food was not hot owner came to table insisting that she saw food come straight from kitchen to us. She proceeded to berate us say ing that she had accomadated us since we had no reservations. And we should have advised them at the top of her voice ,that we were going to the theater. Sorry to say we will no longer go to this restuarant. I do not recommend it.

We recently dined at Spirito's for the first time. We had a great experience all around. It was a nice personal touch to be greeted and seated by the owner. We had the Alfredo Pasta with shrimp which was Excellent and a very nice NY sirloin cut. Both meals were served with soup or salad. Prices were very reasonable and the old victorian house made for a nice ambience. We will be back for sure !!!

Not the best for us. Waited 2 hrs for food. My small piece of filet mignon, left from my tasty $ meal, that I was taking home for a delicious breakfast, was removed from under my nose, while I was about to place it in the take-home tray. That really shocked me!

Hands down one of my favorite places to enjoy great food. Nice menu selection, portions are plenty, decor is classic and service excellent. Makes sure to make a reservation well in advance and ask about the nightly specials. This is where tradition and Italian fare come together.

My husband and I used to eat here frequently. A couple times a month, normally spending $150+ each time we visited. My husband also posted a review. The owner responded in an insulting manner saying if $10 is that important we shouldn't go out to eat. He also called my husband "ma'am". The gay community in Providence spends a lot of money on fine dining. I hope my brothers and sisters in the community take heed and choose wisely about eating here! I previously left a 5-star review. Today I'm changing it to 1-star and we will NEVER return again. We ate here a couple nights ago. When my credit card bill came in the restaurant had charged me more than I had signed for. I also left a 20% tip which I routinely do. The overcharge was only $10 but it's the principle. I called the restaurant WELL BEFORE lunch service and asked to speak with Greg, the owner. I was told he was in the kitchen and too busy to speak with me. I explained the situation to the lady who answered the phone and asked for a callback. 12 hours later NO CALL. I called my credit card company and they fixed the problem for me. I then called back asking for Greg again only to be told again that he was too busy to speak with me. He called me the next day and was rude and insulting. He stated that "24 hours is plenty good enough for a business callback." If this man has that kind of disregard for his customers and their finances then what else is Spirito's disregarding. This was a disgusting example of ZERO customer service skills or customer care. I'll take my dining experiences to a business that cares about its customers!

We had dinner here with friends. This is an old school Italian restaurant with delicious food and a warm, friendly staff. If you're looking for mind - blowing, gastronomic delights don't eat here. But if you looking for some good old like grandma used to make delicious food consider Spirito's

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Spirito’s. I believe our servers name was Toni. She was awesome; attentive, energetic and made our special day great! The owner, Greg, also took time out of his busy night to visit our table and wish us a happy anniversary. As frequent fine diners, we will definitely be returning. I have to say I am shocked by some of the negative reviews I have read on this page - seems to me to be fake news.

The owner is a complete jerk. He is unprofessional, disgusting, and a thief. My husband and I were at the restaurant after finishing, we paid the bill And we left. When the transaction came on my bank statement I saw that he over charge me. I called and he never returned my call, I call again he was still busy, so i give my number again to the woman who answered and finally he called me the next day Supposedly he was too busy, but wasn't busy to overcharge my credit card. I wouldn't never eat again there. BEAWARE AND ALWAYS CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS

I decided to have lunch today at Spirito's. It was my first time eating here. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very attentive. I enjoyed a Chicken Marsala entree that was excellent and finished it off with coffee and a chocolate mouse cake. I would definitely come back again.

An Italian friend from work recommended this place, so I brought my girlfriend for dinner since she loves Italian food. Our experience was not a great one! The only good thing about the night was the service and the wine. The food was alright, I was expecting more. They sat us near the bar, around 8pm place got crowded, we had like 10-12 guys basically on top of us while we were eating. They were standing next to the bar right behind us and were very loud. As we were leaving, one of the guys said "finally these people are leaving, they were taking our space" First and last time having dinner here. “Owner” I am sure is the Same Spirito’s
