All the food was excellent and beautifully presented with a unique use of flavors that worked well together. One down side was the filet mignon. It was over cooked unfortunately, but I can see an espresso rubbed filet being hard to cook. Service was absolutely perfect. Not one complaint. I would have given 5 stars but a filet is something that is going to pull down on the review.

The food was AMAZING, and well-priced. I ate on the patio outside and my server, Jake, was extremely pleasant and highly knowledgeable. When our desert was delivered, we were brought an additional "treat" as well, which happened to be an experimental cucumber sorbet. The sorbet was great, but not really my thing. On the other hand, it was the first time I had ever had the pleasure of experiencing a chef providing a prototype to me, and I couldnt believe it, especially because it was my first visit ever. I had an excellent dinner and an awesome experience.

Very disappointing , made reservation for seven was seated at a table for maybe six. When asking for another table I was told I should have been more specific with my reservation and that was the only table available . Hmm maybe I should make a reservation for eight or nine if I wanted to seat seven??? Like they were doing me a favor , I don't think so. Not to mention my over priced dried out chicken cutlet. However 5 out of 7 of our meals were good. Wait staff very good.

My wife and I been here 12 times in the last year. It is the same bs every time. You make a reservation they call and confirm it, then we get there 15 minutes before and end up waiting a hour past our reserved time to sit. The staff does not offer a free cocktail or app or anything. I tip at a %50 clip. The wait staff knows us. Most of time they say you guys like to eat at 8 they can't turn tables fast enough. So why take my reservation then. Food is always good but customer service sucks.

My family and I love this restaurant. We have been there 6 times in the past year. The last time was this past weekend, the 3rd of January 2015 to celebrate my nephew and daughter's birthday. We were not disappointed. I wanted to give a special shout out to our server, Jamie. She was excellent, and no, she is not related to us. :) The food was incredible, the atmosphere with the snow falling softly outside their panoramic bowed window was magical, and the service, thanks to Jamie, all made for a very special evening.

The food here was absolutely amazing. So positively satisfied, I would give it four stars... but first impressions mean a lot. So my only complaints here lie with the hostess. After walking in and telling her we had a reservation but were about 15 minutes early, she found my name in the system, said “Okay” and then started tinkering away at her computer, pointing at tables and chatting with other employees as if she was working on it... and all the while, we just stood there for ten minutes literally leaning on the hostess station with no clue what to do. Eventually it became clear that she was going about other business. She proceeded to seat other people who came in after us, without indicating whether or not we should wait in the bar or step aside because it would take a few minutes to prep the table. I realize we were early. I realize the people who came in behind us might have had reservations before us. I can respect that. I was in no rush. They were waiting for a table and/or prepping one. That’s great. But please advise us what to do next because she was literally talking through us and past us and over our heads to address the people behind us as they came in and out. We felt like we were in the way. We felt that we should move, but didn’t know to where because she hadn’t instructed us on what was happening next. It was awkward to be left standing at the hostess station, in everyone’s path, with no idea if I should walk off and use the restroom, because she kept grabbing menus and walking off as if she was going to seat us... and then she’d do something else. A good hostess welcomes and directs customers. I finally had to interrupt her and ask “So, are we being seated or are we waiting? I’d like to use the restroom and find a place at the bar or something if it’s going to be a while.” She then told me they were prepping a table. Wonderful. But she should be offering that information to me right away when I arrive, not making me ask what’s up. Say something like “Wonderful. I see you here in the system. It’ll just be ten minutes if you’d like to check your coats and wait at the bar.” Or “Great. You’re all checked in. Unfortunately we don’t have any tables available just yet because you’re early, but if you’d like to wait in the bar or step aside...” Easy. Customer Service 101. I also could have done without the hostess instructing me to remove my baseball cap as I was still in the midst of sliding into my booth and hadn’t even removed my coat yet, nor fully settled into my seat. I don’t need to be lectured on etiquette — I always remove my hat at the table. I don’t need to be schooled on manners in front of my entire dinner party, especially in a place where people are wearing jeans and sneakers and cheering at the sports on TV. It was cold that night. The place was packed. I had been made to stand directly in front of the door for ten minutes while people went in an out, so I kept my coat and my hat on. The food is perfection... but you’re not THAT fancy that you need to lecture me before I’ve even shucked my jacket. People don’t hoot and holler drunkenly in upscale restaurants. School the hostess on proper treatment of a customer first. Then, when you see someone has been seated and ordered and STILL hasn’t removed their hat... then you can politely ask them to remove it. I surely didn’t see her schooling the woman at the next table for rudely digging into her meal before the rest of the table had received their meals.

The food was great and the service seemed great. However I had gotten salmon with lobster risotto, and wanted to take the leftovers. This was expensive, I'm expecting to get everything I paid for. When I got home I found my container just had the salmon, no lobster or risotto to be seen and there was at least half of it left. I don't usually spend this much money but I had been planning on just really splurging for that day and now I feel a little robbed.

Pretentious, Pretentious, Pretentious. An Italian restaurant without the option for a plate of pasta with marinara not even as a side dish. Where a meatball is as foreign on the menu as Peking duck, and If you really enjoy having your dinner take no less than an hour and a half. This place is for you. The only reason we went was someone gave us a gift certificate so we decided to give it a try rather than have it go to waste. We won't be going back. This was the first restaurant we've encountered that calls your home and asks you to call them to confirm the reservation. If that's not pretentious then I don't know what is. After all that the food was just ok.

Went out tonight and saw that they had the restaurant week specials. I got mussels, salmon, and limoncello mousse. Beyond impressed. Some of the best mussels I ever had, so much flavor and a little bit of kick. Salmon was a little savory and salty, with a creamy lobster risotto to balance it out. Limoncello mousse was tangy, tart, and creamy, soo good. So dreamy. Service was also fantastic. Had a drink special too, strawberry rosé margarita, I believe? Strong and sweet. Love it here.

A great place. The best food in Rhode Island. Chris the manager goes above and beyond. We were having a celebration of life for my daughter. She was looking forward to this meal for a few months while in the hospital. When I made the reservation I asked Chris about a certain dish that was a menu item in the past but was no longer available. Well when we arrived for our dinner Chris met us at the door, he remembered my name and as a surprise he had the chef add the dish to the specials for the night. He said he knew from the sound of my voice how important this night was. Thank you Chris for a special special night.
