As you know, we do not usually stop to place feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Asian restaurant.
We have been going to this place for years when we are in the area. Yesterday will be the last time we go. Ordered a scorpion bowl for two. When it came out there was no fruit and the flavor was so bitter. We asked if they could fix it and they came back with fruit in it and added grenadine. still tasted awful but we didn't send it back. Then my husband ordered the half Peking duck "bone in". When he got it it had a lot of flavor but looked like it was cooked on Monday and refried to heat it up before it was served. Even though ducks usually aren't that meaty this half looked anorexic. The beef fried rice and Spider roll were good but for the money we will not be going back.
I've had the pad Thai, California roll and Antipasto special here, and all were superb! The antipasto was the most delicious appetizer selection I've had in my life! A cornucopia of Asian flavors, the antipasto has a huge variety of samples. Nime chow, Hae Kainge, lemongrass and peanut crispy wings, Chinese dumplings, Thai fried shrimp, crab rangoon, steak satay and a refreshing cold noodle salad send your tastebuds on an international tour! All prepared with fresh ingredients and a variety of sauces to please almost anyone. I know it sounds like I'm overstating how good this dish is, but I never laud any restaurant that hasn't earned it. The service is friendly and prompt and it really goes beyond your standard restaurant experience without making you feel uncomfortable.
I've been coming here over the years and never had a bad meal or service. love this food
Food always good just like service
Wide variety on the.menu. So not go alone sharing at it's best!
Mediocre food. Grungy interior. Raku Sakura on East Greenwich main Street is a 1000 times better!
My family has been coming here for years. The food can be a little pricey depending on what you are in the mood for, but our experience has always been great. The staff are very understanding of allergies and are knowledgeable on their menu. I would recommend! I love their Rock n' Roll sushi!
Not very impressed. Forgot some of my order also was not what i expected. Won’t recommend.
Been coming here for years. Consistently delicious meals. A large varied menu.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Very roomy, and ample parking.
This place is in a slow decline and I'm throwing in the towel. Poor service, sushi is declining, and they rush you out. There's better options
Smoked salmon fried rice, Thai fried shrimp... mmm mm good!
The duck and lo mein are very good.
Service was not so great, food was okay, not great. My wife's plate was cold, had to send it back, no apology. Waitress seemed inexperienced
Big menu and the food is ok. The rooms are all over place and doesn't seem like you are in the same restaurant. Odd vibe.
It was cold in there. The staff wasn't friendly, and the food wasn't very good.
I enjoyed good service and a nice setting, but was let down with the quality of the food a little. There was nothing wrong the quality, it just wasn't what I expected. I'm always quite skeptical of places with ridiculously large menus, such as this one, as they never do everything well. I had spring rolls and a vietnamese noodle dish, which were underflavored, not very polished, and just plain mediocre. I could have done better. I will go back though, because the sushi that I saw on other people's plates look quite nice.
Never disappointed in the service, and their food is exceptional! If you go, try the Thai wings!
We hadn't been to Seven Moons in a couple of years, but were in the mood for a change and a little drive. I ordered the lemongrass shrimp lunch, which comes with white rice and two chicken wings, as well as wonton soup for an extra dollar. Miso and hot and sour soup are no upcharge. Service was good enough to get the job done, but that's it. The wonton soup was average. Hard to describe, but not full of flavor like the better broths. The wontons were flavorless, but at least they were not to thick and heavy. Chicken wings are pretty much chicken wings, done in a slightly asian way. The lemongrass shrimp were medium sized in a rather bland sauce and vegetable mix, heavy on red and green peppers. So all in all the three stars. I'm sure there are good items on the menu, it's extensive. We prefer their spin-off Red Rice near the Warwick Mall. Same menu, done better with nice decor, friendly waitstaff, and fresher tasting food. And no dollar upcharge for the wonton soup,
Flavor of everything we good but I did not care for the texture of the chicken in the chicken and cashew-- i should have realized the dishes with dark meat checkerboard would not be for me
Love this place. Some favorites include: sushi, spicy Thai chicken wings, crab rangoons, roasted pork fried rice, and pad Thai. Many options and everything we try is delish.
Great, fresh, well prepared sushi.
This is one of my favorite Asian restaurants. Everything here is very well prepared. I'm pretty sure it is all cooked to order. The sudhi is delicious. This is where I introduced my children to sushi. I'm going to come back, again and again.
Food and service was good.
The Nim Chow here is probably the best in the state, and I love their sushi. I've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed every meal; wonderful ambiance!
I've had two bad days there recently. The food was still GREAT, but service was slow and inattentive. Prices seem to have risen. Always try their soups. Appies are tasty (shrimp tempura, my favorite). Rice is flavorful, both white and fried. I hope they read these.
Nice place, good food, generous servings, and great price.
Just O.K. and noisey.
It nice place for lunchtime. Fast service and good host. Had the calamari very good.
Service is top notch. Food was excellent. I love the decor. Feels authentic.
Delicious and something different loved it!
We were the last customer of the nite with know time to spare and were extremely Hungary. The staff was so polite let us sit down while they were cleaning there sushi bar and still provide sushi for us.... We were amazed at this restaurant for the excellent service and the way it was all presented.we are customer for a life time... Thank you for all you did....we will see u soon...lei larry
Good location. Interesting and intriguing aesthetic, supported by a friendly staff. Prompt service, and wide variety on the menu makes it a great Asian Fusion spot to eat. Lunch specials are delicious and the portions are more than enough. Try for yourself.
Not good. No combo plates. I ordered lemon chicken. Bf ordered lettuce wrappers plate and we got rice to share. Boyfriends food and the rice came. We waited and waited for mine. Finally someone came over and asked if it was ok. We said we are still waiting for my food. He said lemon chicken takes a long time. My bf said we want to eat together. They just looked at us like we were crazy. Bf said take this away and keep it warm! They just kept saying lemon chicken takes a long time over and over again!!! Like robots. It was surreal! They acted like we are idiots for not understanding that! First of all, you always serve everyone together. This is not a new concept in dining establishments. Secondly, nobody said lemon chicken takes a long time when we ordered! What are you doing, growing lemons back there? It's a breaded chicken cutlet with sauce on it! What takes so damn long!? After all that, the food sucked anyway. Rice was so salty, it was inedible. They probably poured the whole shaker in when we demanded they keep it warm. The lemon chicken was bland. First time there and will never be back.
Egg rolls on point. Price is right for lunch special. I recommend the garlic
Absolutely terrible!!! Only had half my order ready then had to wait another 35min for the other half...No sence of urgency at all and didn't even care that they messed !!!NEVER WILL GO BACK... ,,,and dont recommend going...
I always love going to this restaurant. It is so nice to be able to have several different styles of Asian cuisine in the same meal. I had the Bee Bong which was fresh and delicious. I also had the green curry soup which was so tasty but I brought some home because it was a good sized portion and filling. We sat in front of the fireplace so it was cozy and comfortable with good service
Always loved the food here, and still do. Very friendly service and great atmosphere. Good place for families, couples, friends, or any group. Many rooms available, and could do large parties.
Great Martinis and Tom Yum soup.
Delicous food, great service and great decor. 5 stars!
Loved it! Drinks were pretty strong
Great Food.Best crispy chicken wings ull find.
Service and food were good as usual. Good portion sizes at a reasonable price. Decor and furnishings are becoming a bit worn. Not the same upscale Asian restaurant we have been used to in the past. Facilities could use a facelift.
Best Sushi. The large appetizer is a must.
Got lunch for the office. Food was great, would come back.
Really good food and nice staff. Prices are reasonable. Lots of variety and have tried many things all very good.
We went last night for dinner. I had not been there in awhile and the renovations are beautiful! The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The menu was very extensive, listing a lot of different ingredients, and I was very impressed with the care that went into the menu development. We ordered the miso soup but it clearly had sugar added to it which had not been listed on the menu. It was very sweet. I ordered vegetables with garlic sauce and this also clearly had lots of cornstarch and sugar added. Again, this had not been listed on the menu. The result for me was a headache and very sick stomach all night long. I learned that, despite the many menu notes, if I go there again, I will need to ask more questions about what is actually in the food.
Really great meal! I am on a diet and they offer a really great low carb meal!
Appetizers are good, but the bento box with chicken was like eating rubber
Always great reasonably priced
Decent pan-Asian restaurant. Spicy dishes not super spicy, so you may be ok being more adventurous
Good egg rolls and spring rolls. Not so good friend dumplings. Liked the decor.
Messed up 100% of my order on door dash
Good service at the back bar. Food good as usual.
I swear their food gets yummier every time I go there! Their Pad Thai, Pineapple Honey Chicken, and Bee Boong are excellent. They also have a nice atmosphere and great service. I've visited many times and have had an awesome experience every time. Highly, highly recommend!
Horrible. Just spent $40 on takeout general tso chicken and beef and broccoli. Have no idea how anyone can like their food. No taste bland bland bland. As well expensive. Seriously. I used to frequent this restaurant. It has been a while. Maybe new management new chef. Whatever. I'll never eat there again.
some of the best crispy wings ive had.if your near the area its a great treat.
Always excellent.
Not very good. Strange smell in the place, like bad fish. The food itself wasn’t very good at all. I’ve had better from a food truck. Stay away from anything that has shrimp or chicken.
Very expensive for food and drinks and the food isn't good at all.
Food has always been great but snag a bar seat. Waiters tend to disappear for long stretches, whether or not you've ordered. Short staffed maybe?
Large portions and has always been one of our favorite Asian restaurants.
It was ok but not what I'm use too. Friendly and attentive staff.
Delicious. Shrimp in lobster sauce was amazing. My girlfriend got the beef and broccoli and the dish was incredible. The food is always good here and the servers are pleasant.
Staff was very accommodating. We had an extended family gathering and it was very pleasant and the food was great.
Had the Cantonese noodles. Pretty good. Friendly service and the place allowed for reasonable conversation. Dirty martini packed a wallop but could have used more olive juice and queen olives. Maybe I'm too picky.
This was my first time here after hearing my boyfriend rave about it for the past year. I was very impressed by the inside -- it's huge. The food was excellent as well. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was funny, nice, attentive, and quick, even when the bar got more crowded. I'll definitely go back.
hands down the best sushi place in New England w/ a very generous menu to choose from!
Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious, as well as reasonably priced. We came in for dinner after visiting the nearby aquarium and ordered the teraki bento box, pad Thai, and the children's fish and chips. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. I highly recommend Seven Moons to anyone coming through the area.
Got takeout here and was very disappointed. They forgot one of my sushi rolls so I called to get a refund and they never refunded me, and the food we did get was sloppily prepared. Won’t be returning.
Hands-down one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Besides the fact they were dead on a Friday night. The staff was extremely slow and the food was not up to expectations. At the end of the evening they had the audacity to charge us an additional 4% on our check due to the fact their business is off. If you’re going to charge someone an extra 4% you might want to disclose that before they sit down. That 4% could’ve gone toward the servers tip. Never again will I dine with your establishment.
Best Chinese in North Kingstown!!! Great place to bring your family!!!
Beautiful large dining space and great selection of menu items. Delicious.
Seven moons great food and service
You are in for a treat here, real asian food, with a strong tact for Cambodian and Thai, which I love! Nime Chow is great! Soups spectacular! It's very clean and friendly staff.
Large selection of delicious food, reasonably priced
Food is delicious and our waitress Sabrina is the best waitress I ever had! Pineapple fried rice is my favorite
This place is great. The food offerings are pan Asian, always delicious and served by a good staff. They have everything from Americanized Chinese food to authentic dishes do you can get your comfort food like dumplings and crab Rangoon or something a little different like nime-chow.
Great bartender.
The antipasti platter is the way to go!! Enough food for 2 plus take home
This place has gone down hill. Back in the day it was top notch quality . Now it is takeout food at fine dining prices. And poor service
Great food in a relaxing atmosphere
We frequent this restaurant for take out because I love their Nim Chow but the last two times I ordered it (the second being tonight) there was a long black hair in it - super disappointing and gross :-( Because this was the second time, I’m very hesitant about eating there again. They need to check their chefs and make sure they are adhering to all the food safety protocols....
Sushi is to die for. I love going during the day when it's not too busy and enjoying the bar.
Outstanding service and excellent food beautifully presented.
Seven moons is a good place to stop for lunch, the food is always consistently good, the menu has a good variety and the atmosphere is nice. If there's a wait you can usually snag a bar seat pretty easily. This place is certainly pretty good, but it fails to stand out above the rest of the crowd in any particular way. I certainly recommend this place if you're in the mood for Asian food, but I don't really have a specific meal that I would recommend here, and I've never been floored by a visit. To be honest though, I've also never had a bad visit! This place is dead on consistent and a good bet if you want to know exactly the quality food you'll get and not worry about things changing up on you suddenly.
Will never go here again. They messed up my order but never came to check on how the food was, so an hour later when the server came to the table to box things up I hadn't touched my food, was still very hungry and he argued with me for asking for him to take it off my bill. Very unprofessional.
Beautiful decor. Hostess was grouchy, and unwelcoming . We left before ordering due to overhearing staff mocking customers.
This is one of the more depressing reviews I have written on google. 7 Moons is my GO TO for Asian food. It’s hands down the best Asian food in RI IMO. Well..it was. We came here today for the first time in a while and I get the same thing every time. Order of boneless spare ribs, General Taos chicken and an order of Pork Fried Rice. So I know how it’s always tastes cause I have been coming here for years and years. It’s totally different. The spare ribs were sooooo chewy and felt over cooked with a burnt taste. I don’t mind the burnt taste it tastes grilled almost but not with it so chewy. The fried rice is dark and harder vs how it was 2 months ago. The chicken isn’t as good either. Everything was really chewy and over cooked. Not very over cooked but over cooked. My review before wAs 5 stars I’d refer everyone who asked to here for best Asian food hands down but it’s not the same. And that just sucks!
I think anyone who doesn't rate this place a 4 star or higher just caught them in a bad day. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Rhode island and definitely my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant. Every time I have gone the food has been delicious, the sushi fresh, the staff friendly, the drinks strong, and the food comes quickly. When I have family visiting from out of town this is where I bring them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I was not content here food was ok not like it was back in the day
Good food consistently. Service a bit awkward the last time we visit as a sushi chef stared at my family during most of the meal. Kids felt uncomfortable and mentioned it to me. This was the one weird time, ive been there about 10 times and no problem. Also take out is always good.
Great Thai crispy chicken wings, and the sushi was very good also!
Food is always great. Service not so much
This place was ass. The food was cold. my girlfriend received a dirty cup of water with what seemed like boogers on the side. The meal was overpriced for its quality. But the place looked nice. I do not recommend it.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic food!
The food here is amazing and it has a good atmosphere too, i go here for my birthday dinner every year
Yummy food! Great, personal service.
I love going to Seven Moons! Not only is the food delicious but the atmosphere and service are great, highly recommend!!
Tried it for the 1st time today. Ordered the chicken finger lunch special. It came with two (2) little chicken fingers. Two?!??? And 2 grose chicken wings on the bone.
Good food high on price thou
Miso soup tasted like .50cent ramen noodles with tofu pieces. The sushi was chewy. Not recommended, Word of Mouth got this place popular and now that the old owner is gone the food sucks.... fact
One of our favorites to visit when we are up north! Moontinis are great!
Best Chicken Pad Thai Noodle in Rhode Island!
Another restaurant we have been visiting for years. The menu is extensive and takes a long time to digest. The sushi is excellent. We are always prepared to take home way more than we eat.
Good food ,great staff
Delicious!
Worst experience I've had in ages. The lady at the front was rude and she got my order wrong. Then there was the food. Just atrocious. I would even go so far as to say disgusting. Then if all that wasn't enough, it was $11.61 for a General Tsos chicken lunch with lomein. It came with 6 pieces of chicken. Absolutely drenched in sauce. Barely edible. The noodles were undercooked, under seasoned, and totally without vegetables. I would avoid this restaurant like the plague.
Awesome food. Great prices. Friendly service. Perfect drinks! I would recommend this place to anyone
Love there food
3/11. 4 of us went to have dinner. Awesome experience, our waiter Freddy, he made the whole experience much better; respectful, funny, food right on time & I could go on and on.
Good food
Seven moons is for seven different Asian cuisines and they do all of them well. We drove over an hour to come here. We ordered the antipasto which has a little of some of their most favorite appetizers. It was delicious and it was huge. My friend ordered fish and chips which was done tempura Style and the chips were zucchini chips. He also ordered sushi which was very fresh and delicious, and I ordered pad thai. We ended up bringing so much food home that it was ridiculous. I had delicious leftovers for 4 days.
Great food, very clean, parking & good service.
Really looked the food. Quality and service was good.
Wonderful food and service. Great place for a 99th birthday lunch.
The lunch special is the greatest deal for sushi!
Great pad tai
It's a good restaurant for quick service and Asian cuisine.
Awesome sushi!
Nice ambiance, good food
Thai tea is a liquid not a slushy. Its a spiced tea in heavy cream.
Great food and very friendly people. They have been open a really long time, so they mist be doing something right. First time here and was very pleased. Many people have told me about this place, a nk staple. Should have came here earlier
They have everything I want to eat from chinese, japanese, vietnamese, and thai food.
Called to place an order for pick up and the person that answered was so rude. Her attitude was so deplorable I didn't even bother ordering. Lost a potential customer !
Great selection. Good service. Consistently good food.
