Incredible variety! My plate had general tsao's chicken, pepperoni pizza, tuna sushi, and vanilla pudding. Mix it all together and it's delicious! Oh but your body will pay for it after you leave!!

I moved to Virginia a couple days ago missing my favorite buffet thats similar to Royal buffet. After trying a couple buffets, i thought to myself, nothing can beat my favorite spot back in Denver, co. I was wrong!! After giving this place a try, i was amazed of how many delicious platters they have to offer! Place was clean and staff were pretty friendly. Overall, I’m satisfied that i got the chance to discover this place after losing hope to find a better place, or similar, to my favorite buffet. I recommend this place if you’re looking for some quality food with a reasonable price. Try it out and thank me later

Food is good. Staff was rude with us. Went in for lunch at 3:40. Had no idea that after 4 the staff was putting items out for the dinner buffet. Waitress came to our table yelling at us "Oh you pay for dinner now"! I said "No, we came for lunch. We are not aware that this is dinner items". She then proceeds to snatch my husband's plate of food away from him. VERY RUDE! Will not be back.

Nice place with good service and typical "Chinese" buffet fair. On weekends they have seafood. Clams are tasty, raw oysters, blue crabs (occasionally) assorted shrimp dishes. Good value in my options opinion.

Really good buffet offerings and welcoming staff. Great for quick lunches, in and out, or sit down with the family. Easily the best bang for your buck if you're wanting Chinese food. This isn't an upscale, high end joint, but it has me coming back for lunch!

This is a food joint a friend told me about. My first visit was ok. Food was ok for the price. My 2nd was not that good. Food quality had dipped and the worst my card was over charged when I got home. I called them to complain and around same time I was traveling overseas. I was there yesterday and the food was horrible. Eggs were cold like was taken from the fridge. Rice was simply colored with oil. “Beef” was colored chicken. Appetizers I took were hard to chew. The vanilla ice cream tasted funny and had to toss it. Every plate I fix, I had to trash. I felt I’m wasting food at the same time trying to find something that tasted ok but never found any. I had to go to drive all the way to IHOP in Attleboro in MA to fill up with homey food. I won’t recommend to anyone who wants quality food worth the money disposed of.

Honestly thought it was delicious and cost about $9 for lunch during the week - cheaper than most places up here. Sushi was good - keep in mind that all places that serve sushi on a buffet will not have the best sushi of your life - so that being said it was good. They have frozen yogurt and sugared donuts. I enjoyed all of the different kinds of veggies, chicken, and seafood offered. Will be back again!

They are really bad at service. People are still eating and thought that they will close at 10:30 as it says on their page, but they close at 9:30 and start cleaning up and telling people to leave at 9:45.

It is a very nice buffet with a variety of food items to choose from. They keep the food replenished so there is always fresh new food. The staff is friendly and always on top of things like removing dirty plates, and refilling drinks. It is definitely, a good place to eat at a very good price. One of my favorite items is the crab meat, really good. I definitely recommend this place as one of my top chinese buffet to go to.

Great selection and at a good price. The staff was nice. Look for the ice cream machine I almost missed it because of the mirrors. I'd give it 5 starts but it's a normal buffet. I think it's cleaner and better maintained than other buffets I've been too.

20 minutes before closing we were told to leave (We arrived at 8:30 and they close at 10). We had 2 people approach us and who constantly reiterated to leave because they're going to close. Every restaurant that I've ever been to always closes at whatever time they have scheduled (ex: 10 P.M) THEN they clean after customers have left, but I've never been anywhere that's rushed the customers to leave with such a gap of time still left on the clock. None of the other customers were rushed to leave and it was very disappointing when we were the only ones. The food is low quality, the waiters are unprofessional, and we were rushed from the second we stepped in the restaurant I wouldn't recommend eating here.

Well, its an economy buffet, you get pretty much what you expect. Nevertheless, with such chain buffets, its hit or miss; and this place is the better of the bunch. It's spacious, wide selection, hibachi, and generally clean.

This buffet is by far one if the best Chinese buffets you will find in the area. It's not too expensive and the staff is very attentive to the clients. Absolutely satisfied. It is true some food is not too hot temperatures wise however the food is still good. Love this place.

As others pointed out, the place offers a very good selection of no-frills but decent Asian cuisine at a fair price. Whether one's preference is meaty/ seafood/ or meat-free the buffet all caters for. They offered some sushi, fresh salads and a selection of dessert too; was happy to see that fresh fruit was there to choose from. The place is clean and the service is polite. The one star is dropped because: - the needless use of PLASTIC cups&straws (whether or not you want it) - I badly missed the FLAVOURS; I'm so used to garlic and chilli and onions are being the backbone of several staple dishes, the lemon and the orange sauce, the toasted sesame seeds, pineapples... And no egg fried rice either! :'( Overall not bad but still I'm yet to find a local Chinese that competes with my local back in Walthamstow (E17)

Pretty standard Chinese/Asian/Other buffet. I have eaten in and gotten take-out multiple times and have been satisfied each time. Some things can be a little oily, but that is the nature of the food. The hot wings and chicken on a stick are pretty good.

I was in town for business and looking for a place for a Chinese Buffet, and found this place. It was an average clean, well lit, basic ambiance buffet, except the food, which was well above average, being tasty, fresh, and good variety. The staff was friendly, and right on top of things, without being pushy. One of the better buffet's I have tried in awhile.

I was in Herndon /Fairfax for 3 days. This Royal buffet in Herndon on 492 Elden St was quite honestly the worst buffet I’ve ever been to. The General tsos was still pink in the middle. When I brought that to the attention of the manager, he acted like he didn’t hear me. Then when I told him again he got really, REALLY mad. I heard him mutter the F word under his breathe. I only ate 1 plate of noodles and they still charged full price. Also, watch out. I guess the waitress decided to tip herself because when I left and got to my destination I counted the change. I was short changed $2. My fault for not counting before I left but shows they are dishonest. Wouldn’t ever go back here or recommend.

I am having lunch here as I write this. Found bug in salad. It can happen so just bring out fresh one. Pointed it out to waitress who denied it's a bug, threw it away, walked away. Arrived forty-five minutes to closing, was seated and told to help ourselves to buffet. Well first we got food items and returned to our table only to find food items were cold. When bringing this to wait staff's attention, was told closing soon, offered to heat our food up in microwave. When we were then inform about grill. We then proceeded to grill area only to be told it was closed, we were to late. Interesting, place closed/stop serving at 10pm. Yet 9:30 food was already cold and grill which is part of $12 fee was already closed. Managers answer was half price yet couldn't eat the food. Will never return again, suggest save your money or go else where!

I really like this place. The only reason for four stars is that some of the patrons aren't the most desirable. As a young female, I don't like being ogled while I am eating, and I have gone with other females who have expressed similar problems. Sometimes the service isn't the best either, as in drinks that sit empty for far too long and empty plates left on your table to the point of overcrowding. However, overall, the food is worth it. You get a great selection, the food is always fresh, plentiful and delicious. I am rating this place for what it is--a Chinese buffet. We all know that the food sits there for a little while until new stuff comes out, the sushi probably isn't going to be the best, and to stay away from any salmon, crab legs, or fish. If you do that, you will be fine. Any shrimp meal is fine, anything with chicken is great. The flavors are great, and there is no MSG, because if there was, I would get a horrible migraine every time I eat there, and I don't. It's a great place to take your time to eat, as they are not pushy to get you out of the door. I highly recommend.

Went at 8:30pm. Most of the food had been sitting awhile and all dried out. Another patron asked when they were going to put out new food because it had obviously been sitting out so long. That was met with just a disgruntled look and no answer from the waitress. Beyond that, the taste of the food would be rated as edible but nothing spectacular. Price was fair. 2 people with 2 beers and a Pepsi $35.

I think I've had worse...but I KNOW I've had better. Food was room temp, not hot. Also a strange color for fried rice. Like a yellow sharpie. While I ordered roast pork lo mein, there was not a cube of pork to be found. Would only return if there were no other options.

The Buffet is great and has a good variety of foods. The servers do seem to forget about you. The past couple of times I have been here I was seated and was brought my drink, and I would eat and finish my drink waiting for a refill and the servers would just stand and talk to each other. Even when they come to yohr table to pick your plate up they don’t ask if you need anything and they didn’t ask if I wanted a refill even though my drink was empty

This an all you can eat place, used to be very good, as the economy and other issues changed, their options also did. No lobster, very tiny crabs, and fake crab meat is used in fillings. Quality and options decreased, although you still can over eat here, the price went up for far less quality. I think it is a good option if you are passing by and extremely hungry regardless other better restaurants within an extended area.

Weekday lunch for $8.95 was an excellent value. They had an extensive selection of food including all the usuals, plus crab, shrimp, and clams. All the food was very fresh at 12:30 PM. Our server told us to leave a tip on the table which was very odd. But any way, the food was great.

Our favourite place to eat out with my wife so far. Food seems fresh for the most part. Wide selection of seafood, meats as well as desserts. Dont expect the best sushi as they dont specialize in it. Great pricing for 1-2 refills at the buffet. They seem to watch you alot to make sure you arent "doing something wrong" like waste food but I guess they have to. Bathroom needs a serious makeover as it seems to be falling apart. Would recommend.

I have been to this buffet for almost 16years but Easter Sunday was the worst I have seen of all. The food was tasteless,cold,soggy and not what it use to be. Buffet style Chinese with variety of meat, fish, seafood, fried rice/noodles, soup, dumplings, stir fried vege, fruits, and some desserts. Sushi and pickles was awful but cooked foods, esp deep fried fish or spring roll we're good. Roasted ducks and pork ribs were good too. Good to bring kids.

Had dinner with another couple at 5:30 PM on December 21st. Food was good and warm/hot across the board. The seafood was particularly desirable. Service staff pretty good. Interestingly, no classic Chinese mustard available. My wife and I will go back when we're in the area.

Foods really dry, every other menu item is prepared with some variation of peanut butter(which I'm ok with). Sushi is refrigerated. I ate during their lunch hour so there's no reason the food shouldn't have been fresh. The freshly cut fruit was as good as it got. Definitely passing on this place next time around.

Go their when they first open to get the freshest food but use caution as they put out food from the night before they heat it up but you can tell itll be crispier then the rest of them thats for any serving as youd have to check yourself i dont know whats left over everynight lol. But dont drink before or during your meals and dont eat any bread as those two things will fill you up faster then you eating food food. If you do that you should be able to double the food you eat at your visit. And of course take a big gulp when your done eating the drink will out your stomach at the brinks and youll be all done eating stuffed like a chicken and you wont be hungry again in a hour.

I should have known better then to take my family in this place after I saw like 1 table with people at it. Food was terrible. Cold, bland, old looking, and I suspect I hit some rancid shrimp. That could be in my head to be fair. I caught a whiff of something that smelled off at some point. I want to say the service was good because the waitress was on point with the refils but, we were one of 2 tables. 5 people total in the place eating. I just read some of the reviews of this place that said the food is great. You people are delusional lol. Our regular place blows this away and its much cheaper.

The foods are decent, but their freshness is subpar comparing to other Chinese buffets. Until I found a fly in their egg drop soup. It terrified me. I told the waitress about it, and she said she would “check back” (exact words) but then of course, she never did. My stomach felt terrible and I had to get out of there as fast as I could.

One of our go-to restaurants for group outings. Sometimes the food can be a little old/dry, but give them 15 minutes and theres usually new stuff coming out. Hibachi and sushi stations are almost always fresh, and food can be made to order for no additional charge. Is it the most amazing out of all your dining options? Eeeeh, but it's a solid choice and consistently tasty.

This place is a dump. Their food made me have to take the biggest and smelliest dump after eating. Their rice and chicken looked like a over used sex toy from the Johnston landfill. i was a regular customer of theirs going in every other day becuz it was good food for a very reasonable amount i dont have any issue with the food its really awesome for the price u pay...i have always got the same server i have dined in for a couple of times and i have a baby girl who is 10 months old so she tends to make a little mess when fed which is very common and i have seen other kids do that too but the last time when i went there i saw my host making faces and behaving differently also to mention their chinese manager came and stopped by us and our server and the manager made some nasty comments deliberately in chinese so we dont understand but i got it....they were talking about my baby and the little food she had dropped....cmon how can u guys be so rude i have always paid you good tips....also the table next to us had all grown ups still when they left i saw her sweeping the floor as they had dropped a lot of food too so why would you be rude i have always greeted and treated my server very nicely but no1 messes with my baby so you have lost a loyal customer now....never going back

Went there mad hungry, only to be greeted by some musty, dusty, crusty azz sushi. Joint looked rancid. I was hungry, so I ate some. Each bite made my liver quiver. There oysters were alright, so I had a couple rounds of them jaints. When they ran out, I ask the refill lady if I could please have more. She looked confused and said “there no more”. Ah he’ll nah fam, I came to an all you can eat, and what I usually eat (sushi) looked like it had a bad day. And now you’re telling me no more oysters?! I’m out.

All the food is extremely delicious; I recommend to everyone that enjoys a wonderful meal. The service is great, they come whenever you need them. The atmosphere is okay, sometimes it can be a bit too cold but overall good. When I was there, I got stuffed potatoes, pizza, mac n' cheese, and crab ragoon, etc. I enjoyed all the food everytime I went there. I always take a picture of what I eat so I know what to get again next time.

The food is good, the have a good variety of food, the Staff is very attentive but, I really will appreciate if they will wait for me to ask for the bill. Every time I go to eat there I feel that they're counting the plates. By the second plate they're already bring the bill...like for real??? This is an all you can eat buffet isn't it??? Believe me I don't waste food, I take a little bit at a time so I don't throw away the food. I feel like they rush me out. That makes me a little uncomfortable. If they wouldn't rush me my tips would be very generous but, until that changes I would tip a regular tip.

Wow okay how do I start my visit, first those two statues in the front is kinda odd, kinda startles you when you walk in, the environment is not welcoming at all very bright plain white walls the seats are nice but the area where the food is being held is very vanilla but now the quality of food is a different topic, the food was DRY! Yes DRY nothing was fresh the pizza that was being warmed ready to be served was hard as a Rock. I worked at a pizza place when I was younger and the temp wasn’t high enough to be held there for over 20 minutes Smh the experience sucks I’ll NEVER go here again.
