The food is AMAZING! We did however have a problem with out waiter, but the Owner & Manager cleared it up to our satisfaction! I would highly recommend reservations (luckily we did, but still had a wait) especially when there are venues in the city.

We showed up at 8:30 for dinner on Friday, at 10:00 people were still showing up. This place has a cool modern/urban atmosphere. The tables are close but you don’t feel like you’re infringing on other conversations around you. The bread and oil/dip was extremely good. The food was high quality, with great ingredients. My first thought is that it was simple and fresh like a good southern Italian restaurant should be. But simple is not quite right. I would say simple and fresh is a baseline here, and being paired with a well thought out menu with some complex flavors throughout makes this place an interesting adventure for your taste buds. I certainly look forward to coming back. My only qualm is that I didn’t find any light fish entree on the menu. We ordered the caprese, the sautéed shrimp in a tomato vermouth broth and it was fantastic , the gnocchi was good and the tagliatelle bolognese was awesome. I left here knowing I ate thrice as much as I needed but left not feeling bloated or overfull. The key here is great ingredients, fresh.. and the cheese, oh my! Pair your meal with a cocchi spritz and you won’t be disappointed.

The ambiance is a little crowded and when the kitchen is busy, things may take a little more time than hungry bellies may be patient for but the food was good. A little pricey for my taste based on the serving size and what I was paying for, but overall an enjoyable dinner out.

Our first time was a party of four on New Years Day. We had a great seat in the window, terrific service from Tyler, super meals - we each had a different meal and shared it among us and each were excellent. Rosalina has full liquor and a deep wine list. Pricing was very reasonable for what we had. A definite return trip is in order.

Great food, great environment. We didn't have reservation so we sat at the bar. The place was full and alive, we liked that a lot. Staff was not as friendly as with people seating around us, we noticed the difference, we didn't get the specials of the night, menus not taken fast enough and empty plates not remove on time when people next to us (both sides) got the full service and that's why we're not giving 5 stars but we'll definitely be back and update if necessary.

Most importantly: good food. Really well-executed Italian comfort food with some novel twists. The best piece of tiramisu that I think I've ever had (even considering the 4 years I lived in Italy). Because of the long bar, it's not so much a destination for a quiet, romantic evening--it's a much better spot for gathering a handful of friends together.

Our son goes to Brown and this is our favorite place in Providence. Anything with their red sauce on it is worth having. My favorite pasta sauce in the world. Pasta is always great, but the seafood and meat is also terrific. Looking forward to going back next week!

Had dinner here this evening. The restaurant is quaint and cute, and the exposed brick is very nice on the interior. Our waiter Kylie was very attentive and friendly. The NY strip steak was seasoned very well, and the mashed potatoes were sooo flavorful. I ordered the Belgium waffle for dessert, and it was so crispy and buttery and paired perfectly with with gelato, whipped cream, Nutella AND fresh fruit on the plate. The Pizette was a really amazing appetizer as well, it was delicious yet also fluffy and not too filling so I was still able to eat my meal. The Trinity drink was really great as well, overall a very nice experience. I highly suggest it, although the seating is tight, it kind of adds to the quaintness of the place! The presentation of all of the plates was impeccable, and all of the staff appeared very friendly, and seemed to genuinely care if we were enjoying our meal. Our waitress came back regularly to check in on us and refill our drinks.The bathroom was very clean and orderly, clean main area and nice furniture. This would be a great date spot or a spot to go to for dinner with a few friends.

This is the place to go if you don't have high expectations for service, in fact, maybe better if you have no expectations at all. Reserved table for 5 was only suitable to fit 4 guests. We had to wait for it for half an hour. Over an hour wait for food. The food is good but it's just not worth it. There are plenty restaurants in the area that are just as good and where you'll be treated like an actual human being

I only stopped in for a drink before a wedding so take my rating for what it's worth. The restaurant and bar were updated and Rosalina's had a nice drink selection along with a cozy atmosphere. I always love coming to Rosalina! Their staff are gracious and welcoming. The food is authentic Italian food and delicious! The drinks are tasty and always right. Just finished a delightful dinner here, though very simple. My husband and I shared the Greek salad which was delicious and then a contorno of sautéed spinach - perfect! We each had a pasta - one was shrimp arrabiata, the other squid ink with crabmeat. Fresh pasta and delicious! Next time we come back to Providence, this will be where eat! The service, also, was perfect!

My grandmother and I both ordered the 14oz steak, one being medium rare and one being medium. The steaks we received were both very overcooked, and we were not given a solution so my grandmother and I split the steak that was less overcooked. When asked if they could remove one of the uneaten overcooked steaks from the bill, we were told no because we ate just the sides. Highly dissatisfied with the service and the food.

Went for group event, one of the waitresses was miserable, rude, and condescending. She acted as if everything was a burden. And this was after the place incorrectly scheduled the group’s reservation 1 hour later than what it was supposed to be. Will not be returning or recommending. 2 star just bc the food was pretty good, otherwise 1 star for service.

Went here with a medium sized group. We ordered oysters that were advertised as matunuck oysters. They definitely werent. They were a little gritty but still somewhat decent. All of us enjoyed our meals and the ice cream waffle dessert was so good! I'd like to try other meals here in the future. Staff was friendly and they have free valet parking.

I'm a vegetarian who rarely does dairy because I am lactose intolerant. So while there were vegetarian options, they were covered in cheese and cream sauces. So I was recommended the vegan option. There is only one vegan option on the menu that changes. This time, and the last time I'll ever go, was a stuffed tomato with BREAD. The bread was soggy, the tomato was flavorless and it was on top of unseasoned squash spaghetti. It was the worst meal I've had in a while and to top it off it was the most expensive meal out of the group. For A TOMATO, SQUASH, AND SOGGY BREAD. Are you kidding? The two stars is only because they actually offered a vegan option.

Nice casual Italian spot downtown. Service was great. We had a mushroom salad appetizer that was delicious. We ordered the gemelli pasta dish with a white veal ragu that was also quite good. The meatball side we ordered was served in a red sauce that was really sweet. It was tough to have more than a few bites.

Pretty good, came with a party of 8. Only one issue: Didn't get any complimentary bread until we asked for it after our appetizers showed up. We asked why we didn't get bread but the waitress said we had to ask for complimentary bread. We were wondering why every table had bread but ours. Shrug. Shouldn't complimentary bread be complimentary without asking? Just wondering. Not really a big deal.

First time there...if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a vintage comfortable ambiance - Rosalina is your place. The food was pretty good and so were the drinks. It's a bit pricey compared to the usual Italian spots in Providence. Parking is usually valet however the night I went they passed out tickets for complimentary parking which was a parking lot located a block away. Great place for dining after work.

Had reservations on a Friday night before a show at the PPAC. The places was hopping! My friend and I ordered the fried dough on a recommendation. It was delicious but then again it's fried dough how could it not be. I had the swordfish and it was a great dish. Cooked perfectly. I liked the sauce on the dough very tasty. Service was great. Pricey but worth a try of you like Italian.

Rosalina's is an Italian restaurant very close to the Trinity Reperatory Co. There is both indoor and outdoor dining. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is very well prepared, delicious and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful dining experience and look forward to eating there again soon.

Delicious, fresh pasta! Went during Restaurant week. Service was great, sat at the bar. Zach was very attentive and friendly. Had the Italian wedge salad (iceberg, cherry tomatoes, pancetta crumbles, with creamy dressing which was a bit too sweet/mayonnaise-ey of a dressing for me but was very fresh). Loved the pappardelle bolognese! My partner had the gemelli with veal ragu "Bianco Style" and sweet peas. Will be back again!

Very friendly staff! The bar tender is the man. Also, if you like dirty martinis then I highly recommend trying their take on one. It's made with pickle juice and has pickled green tomatoes instead of green olives in it! YUM!
