I can’t believe I live minutes from this restaurant and never stopped by. A few of us went out to dinner on a Saturday night here , parking was ample . The restaurant is quiet , you can actually have a conversation and hear the other person . I had the Vietnamese Bee Bong (not sure If i am spelling it right ), an order of Nim Chow and Miso Soup. Usually at other restaurants for the nim chow they give you the thick sauce, I was glad to find out that here you get the clear sauce , which I like much better than the thick sauce . The waiter was nice, he remembered what my friend had for drinks last time . The place it’s very clean , menu is easy to read . Menu is not convoluted , just the right amount of the items on it . The red rice was the best . I really liked it . One of their dishes is a paella which next time I stop by I will try that. This by far the best Asian restaurant I have been to In Rhode Island .

First time here. The General Tso's chicken was bland to me. I eat alot of spicy foods and there was no hint of heat. I expected it to come with rice. I probably made an assumption and did not read the menu carefully. Huge family style portions though, fried calamari needed a bit of salt. If I was local, I do not think I would go back.

Seriously sooo delicious and inexpensive. The portions are very very shareable so be forewarned. Don't think you'll run out of food!! The combo cantonese noodles and salty pork were so flavorful. Ask for chili paste on the side and mix it in with your food. It's hot, but more flavorful than hot. 4 adults, drinks, and apps, and 1 entree each, 100 bucks #fuggedaboutit

Very good Chinese/Cambodian food. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked well. Make sure to try the Hae Kainge (crispy sausage roll), which only seems to be sold in this part of Rhode Island! Staff was super friendly.

Service was a little odd, but overall ok. The lunch special wasn't bad and a good price and fair portion. We were just eating somewhere close to the airport and this place fit the bill, but I would do lunch here again. Seemed clean and the hot and sour soup was very good.

We came here yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday. I will NEVER be back after the experience we had. This experience was so awful I have to share. We came in for dinner around 645pm. We weren't greeted. The gentleman who was busy on the phone just called a waitress over to seat us. Nobody looked like they wanted to be there. We didn't even feel welcome from the start. Not a "how are you?" or anything. After we were sat, I noticed while sitting that the paper on the table attached to ours had dried noodles on it. Apparently they only change the placemats on the side of the table that's been used most. Our waiter comes over with some waters finally.. He was tall and wearing a maroon shirt..He never greeted us or gave us his name just asked what we wanted. My boyfriend orders hot tea, and the waiter walked away without even taking my drink order!!! The waiter comes back, takes our appetizer order. Walks off and brings back eggrolls within a minute or so later "for now". No "can I get you anything else?" We also ordered a satay appetizer. The waiter recommended half chicken half beef. It was okay but one piece of chicken was like chewing through rubber. I disegarded it since it wasn't a huge deal. The waiter picked up my plate and then asked if I'm "good with it" after holding it in front of me apparently waiting for me to remove my silverware. I wasn't done yet but just let him take it because I was beginning to get a little frustrated. We ordered the Bimbap and General's chicken for entrees. Not once did the waiter come back to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. I don't expect to be babysat but a waiter coming over to the table at least once per serving to check on everything is common practice..I sent the general chicken back because it had patches of fat running through it and the flavor and texture was way off. The waiter told me I should've told him I didn't want white and dark meat and still charged us for something I took one piece from. This was not an issue with types of meat. But to blame me oppose to offering something else or take it off the bill? Totally unacceptable. He then said he'll box it up anyways. Why would I want it? We get our check.... And the food I sent back was STILL on the bill! We just paid and left. I felt bad because my boyfriend wanted to go here for his birthday and this is the awful experience we had.... We ended up having to go to the market to make something after dishing out $40 for an awful dining experience. Hopefully the manager sees the note on the top of our credit card slip and questions this waiter because he's probably chased away quite a bit of business. This kind of service is completely unacceptable!!!

Such a great Cambodian restaurant! Food was fresh & delicious. They are reasonably priced and have exceptional service. I love spicy food and when I order a spicy dish, most restaurants don’t deliver on the heat factor. I ordered my vegetable lo mein/ tofu spicy and they did not disappoint. The scorpion bowl was also excellent. Don’t forget to try their fried ice cream! The green tea flavor is amazing.

I'm a total pain then the.... to bring out to eat. It has to be great food, clean with a great staff. Red Rice is my favorite Asian resturaunt in RI hands down. I also know someone in the industry that has been in the kitchen, he said it was the cleanest he has ever seen. YES!!!

Someone had told me that Red Rice is owned by the former owners of Seven Moons in North Kingstown, RI. I know the last few times I went to Seven Moons, it was horrible but the first few years, it was great. Whether Red Rice is owned by the former owners or not, it is the best Asian food in the area. It does taste like the original food we used to get when my friend and I would meet at the other place but Red Rice totally rocks it, you can't go wrong AND the prices are better, too! Clean and well done. Services was great!!

Overcooked noodles. Mushy flavorless vegetables. Surprised to see that this is the #1 rated place around. I told them that we were unsatisfied with our meal and would like a refund. Their response was rude and unfriendly, something like, "go somewhere else". The good part about capitalism is that places like this won't last long.

First time was excellent. This time ordered same dishes and they were served to us within 5 min. Egg rolls, fried rice and mixed vegetables. Lukewarm and not fresh. Obviously cooked earlier in the day day or maybe day before. They reheated the dishes which came back a little warmer but soaked in oil. Tasted awful. When we politely said we did not like the food, owner told us since we ate some of it we had to pay no matter what. We politely told him we ate a little bit but he knew we were displeased and had tried the food again once reheated. He accused us of possibly doing this at other restaurants. He told us to leave, that it would be a loss to the house and then told us not to come there anymore. All because they served an inferior meal. Very confrontational and rude and nasty.

First time here, so I'll have to post an update. I went on the recommendation of my teenage daughter. I bought takeout so can't comment on atmosphere or service. Food was delicious! Fresh and not over seasoned. Will definitely go back.

I’m going to keep this review short and sweet because of one reason...the owners used to own 7 Moons. 7 Moons is in East Greenwich and now I think I’m Coventry. 7 Moons was my FAVORITE Chinese/Japanese good restaurant in RI. They had the Asian style seating near the bar that made you feel like you were sitting on the floor which was really neat. Most of all all the food was fantastic!! Always. The rice was perfectly cooked...a bit soft and tasty. I went there one time and the food was different Nd terrible to be honest. I was so disappointed. Then I read online that they sold 7 Moons and opened Red Rice bear the Warwick Mall. Only thing is there hours are odd. But the food is spot on amazing IMO. This will always be my favorite “Chinese food” restaurant in RI until I find somewhere else that blows my mind with there rice, boneless spear ribs and General Tso’s Chicken haha. If you Are reading this please please please go to eat there RIGHT NOW. Haha you won’t regret it. The staff is all very professional and really nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RED RICE!!

First time here and the food was very good. Played it safe and had the pu pu platter, beef Lo mein, and the Gen. Tsao chicken. All were tasty, hot, and plentiful. Ashley was an excellent server and kept an eye on us all night. Clean and modern atmosphere. Will be back again.

The food selection is pretty well rounded between your normal Chinese take out food to your some vitanamese dishes.
