Great service. Very fast. Everything was delicious

Kelly Wiggins

I thought I din't like Indian food until I ate here. I'm not a foodie and I was blown away by the quality of food. IF you like Indian food, you have to try this place. If your looking for something different, then you have to try this place!

Arvind A

Wanted to find an Indian place to eat while traveling and was surprised to find such a fantastic place not too far from Providence. Fantastic and spicy food, great environment, nice service. Got the Dahl and the okra, greatly enjoyed both. Get raita to cool yourself down!

Deepti Saini

I love their food, no matter if you order online or go to restaurant to eat, always fresh food. And am a big fan of the taste of every dish that I have ordered so far! Kudos to their team, Chef and the team who serves, wonderful environment. I wish if they can open early like between 8 & 10 for Indian breakfast items as well. More parathas can be added in the menu, anyways.. lucky to have Rasoi near the vicinity of place I live!

Douglas Gnepp

Have visited Rasoi many times over last several years. Good tasty food. Excellent service. Great midweek specials. I especially like their multi dish samplers and many vegetarian offerings.

Vaibhav Pandey

Amazing Indian food. Recommended.

Adam Rosenbaum

So, so nothing special.

Anvesh Bollam

This restaurant is a completely Americanized Indian restaurant.. you will not get typical Indian food.. if you are planning to have good Indian food I don’t recommend this place.. Biryani lovers forget about this place..

Seth Finkle

One of the best places to eat in RI. Ordering take out is is easy and the food is always fresh and hot. This is my go to restaurant when friends come to visit. Extremely friendly staff as well.

Judy Shoemaker

All the flavors of India! Great experience, tasty food at a great price. Plenty of parking easy to get to. Its a once a week treat for me for sure

mauricio molina

food was very good , i tried t he mango chicken and it was amazing, i had to wait a little bit , took longer then usual but the food made up for it , THE only thing i dont like is that there is no food picture in the menu , especially someone that is not Indian and dont much about there food is hard to order, because you dont want to pay for something you dont like. i recommend picture on your menu to get a visual of what we are going to order.

sharon tatalo

Love the cauliflower appetizer

Daniel Echt

Joycelyn Pires

Shyamala Subramanian

we walked in to have lunch at this place with high expectations. Buffet was average. One Dessert in the buffet With a 1 rating. Pricey place. mediocre service. Disappointed!

James Olivier

Love the food. Plenty of modern atmosphere. Good service.

Bradly Widener

My fiancé and I LOVE Rasoi. We moved here from NYC where we’ve tried many different Indian restaurants, and Rasoi beats them all! The vegan brunch on Saturdays is to die for, and it’s priced very reasonably. The staff is pleasant and the experience isn’t stuffy at all. They even have some outdoor seating in the warmer months! Can’t recommend Rasoi enough.

Paul Carter

Great food, great service and great space!

Mageswaran .M

saturday veg buffet

Sergio De Conno

Excellent food. Very busy for dinner on weekend. The service gets overwhelmed at times.

Josh Frank

Great food , great service as well . Menu is a little different from a lot of middle eastern places , but it's all good . If this place was around the corner from me I hate to think how many times a week I would be eating here . Top notch .

Shannon Rose

Amazing Indian food. The absolute best naan around! The tofu madras is a personal favorite.

veganallison

Wow it was really great! Lots of vegan options and specials on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as a buffet on Saturday a complete vegan buffet! Good service and nice place... Parking lot... Near a vegan bakery... Changing table for babies in bathroom and wheelchair accessible.... I would recommend this place...

Jamie Hopkins

Food is good and offerings are what you what expect. They have plenty of vegan options and vegetarian and gluten free options if that is your thing. Service is good and prices are on par with similar establishments. There is a huge parking lot that is shared with other business, but getting a space has never been an issue.

Moe Da

I like the concept of Satvik meal but I doubt if the folks unfamiliar with Indian traditions know about it . Rasoi serves Satvik buffet on the weekends. I go here even though I am not a big fan of Satvik food. Just a way for me to ditch the usual, heavy , hate-yourself-after-eating kinda Indian buffet in other restaurants. The a la carte menu for dinner is also impressive. I have had the non-veg thali and the food was wholesome. The crowd that frequents here is multi-cultural and that says a lot about a place - it has something to satisfy all.

Tony Lopes

Good buffet on Sundays

Sheila McNeilJacobs

Nirvana trio is my favorite. Nice visit to Rasoi.

Nicole Eller

Rasoi (and it's sister restaurants) are amazing!!!

Michael Angelo

Wonderful service and delicious food.

Jeff S

Top notch Indian food, consistently excellent. Love the Dosa and Biryani. Service is great.

Jothi Nathan

One of the best indian restaurant in Providence, RI and would recommend everyone to visit the restaurant at least once if you would like to have traditional Indian food. Must visit restaurant for quality food for affordable price.

bidhin p

I had catering order from Rasoi for party at my house for more than 100 people. The food was excellent and the servers were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

jack doherty

Spot on delish Indian food with great service!!!

Kate Robinson

Delicious kabobs. Accommodated my food intolerance without issue, which can be tough at times. Wait staff were friendly, courteous, and paid just the right amount of attention to us.

Alex and Bradly

Rasoi makes the best Indian food we have ever tasted. That, with the great service, makes this our favorite restaurant. Saturday vegan brunch is a must!

Joe Mendicino

Food was excellent with fast service

Sketchy Street

I love this place we started going here when my wife was pregnant with our first kid and four years later we still treat ourselves. (I say treat cause they are expensive but worth it.) You get what you pay for but as big guy the serving size could be bigger.

Patrick Greene

I'm not a huge fan of Indian food but met a colleague here for lunch and it was amazing.

Ecoguide USA

From Saturday vegan buffet to standard menu vegan/vegetarian offerings, Rasoi is a comfortable venue for both vegetarians and omnivores. Creative cocktails are offered, and the various lassis are worth the trip. Service is typically prompt and friendly, and the waitstaff is willing to explain menu items and levels of spicing.

Richard Rosenbaum

Very Indian restaurant, menu does not provide a very good description of the selection. If you are not familiar with Indian cuisine, be prepared for a few surprises! For example, I ordered the lentil soup and was served a very tasty dish that contained not a single lentil! Perhaps they were pureed and added to the broth. Whatever, it was quite good. The place is clean and service is friendly, but a bit slow. They have a good selection of vegetarian dishes, some seafood (mostly shrimp with only one fish dish) and a few chicken dishes. The menu lists quite a few dishes with "lamb or goat (bone in)". Not exactly sure what that means, but it does look like they have quite a variety of lamb to chose from. I had the tandoor chicken and my daughter had what was mostly creamed spinage (as expected). Both were good size portions properly prepared and quite flavorful. They have a good selection of teas. Prices were a bit on the high side.

Mohans Moments

Ordered Nilgiri Goat curry and was expecting goat with bones as mentioned in the menu but got overcooked boneless meat . I had to throw all the meat and just eat the curry. Disappointing. They need to make the menu is elaborative as half their business is online orders like ubereats.

Dana Goodman

Today I was in a hurry but wanted a delicious lunch and the service at Rasoi was wonderful. They are exceptionally courteous and kind. I felt very welcome and well taken care of and the food was excellent. Thank you for a fantastic customer service experience!

John Etheridge

Always a treat at the best Indian restaurant in Providence, RI!

Kevin Keener

I love the Saturday morning vegan buffet that were Rasoi puts on every week.

Kunal Narula

One of the best vegan buffets in the Rhode Island.

Nancy Worthen

Great lunch buffet!

Busra Toprak

Love their Chicken Tikka and Naan

Elizabeth Bemis

Love the vegan buffet!!

Khurram Hassan

Good Indian restaurant in Providence. We went there for a lunch and the dahl and the channa were very good. However, they must have pre cooked the lamb biryani because the meat and the rice seemed dry so it must have been sitting around for a while. The raita was good as well and the chutneys were also fresh. I think dinner must be made fresh but the lunch items seem to be made in big batches. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Jessica Mattera

My absolute favorite restaurant. The food is fantastic and always consistent. The service is always good. They have a nice atmosphere and I have never had anything close to a bad experience there.

Sam Migdail-Smith

Love it here! Always delicious food and friendly service

Karen Scott

Always good food and great service.

Michael O'Guin

Great food and great service and a very pleasant space. I particularly enjoy the weekend brunches, vegan on Saturday, and non-vegan on Sunday. The food is excellent and not the run of the mill Indian dishes you get everywhere. It's some of the best I've had outside of London. So, not just a great Indian restaurant in Rhode Island, but it could compete with any Indian restaurant anywhere.

David Forrest

Great tasting Indian food. Level of spice is more authentic. Prices are OK. The atmosphere was good with a mixture of small and larger groups, adults and children. I like that the kitchen is open to the restaurant. I would ditch the TV in the bar. It's a distraction and detracts from the ambience. Buffets are popular but I'd stick to the menu.

Christopher Corbett

Classic Indian cuisine served promptly and courteously. All dishes were hot and delicious. Warm and inviting atmosphere.

Pareshkumar Mandali

Ok restaurant too much congested

Miguel Reyes

Great food and service! Only tried their vegetarian menu so I don’t know about the rest.

Scott Morrison

Always have great food and fantastic service!! The waitress we had tonight was awesome. She had to deal with multiple food allergies and a cranky little girl, and she handled it all perfectly.

afrochica

I've been to Rasoi several times and the food is consistently prepared amazingly. I had the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and the Cauliflower! So delicious!!! And the atmosphere is so lovely Saturday evenings!

Michael Peach

2 time I have been to this restaurant and I haven't been disappointed yet. Great staff great food.

Morghan Reine

Great food

Hannah Paul

Hands down one of my favorite Indian food restaurants! Delicious food (I recommend getting a thali), friendly atmosphere, and great staff. I’ve never had a negative experience here.

Helen Dolby

Best authentic Indian cuisine in the area.... By FAR! Everything on the menu is delicious. They are known to have celebrations on holidays and also offer buffets. The staff are always friendly and courteous. We love visiting Rasoi. They even offer a rewards card and for fun send us a trivia emails!

Shelley Dyer

We had a lovely lunch! We both had vegan lunches, and mine was gluten free. Such a nice treat on Valentine's Day ❤

James Moore

The people are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is plentiful and flavorful. Last Week my daughter and I came here a few minutes before closing, the manager (who is fantastic) recommended a few excellent entrees togo. We were very pleased when we got home.

Rev

The place was almost empty but full staff on hand. Very slow service. Food was moderate. With so many great Indian choices in the area, this one fails in comparison

Syamprasad K R

Pretty good Indian food, including dosa. Nice service. The best Indian food I have tried in Providence.

aditya tikekar

Good tasty meal

wayne pereno

Fabulous Indian food. I had a salad with chicken and an order of vegetable fritters. Great. Service was quick and cheerful

Ken Wagner

Favorite spot for Indian food.

Aseem Adhav

We had tried many restaurants in Boston area (where we live) and so wanted to try a different place this time. We were quite disappointed with Father's day lunch buffet spread. No appetizers and just one dessert option that was very bland Kheer. Rest of the food lacked flavors. We ordered veg samosas on the side with buffet and they were a disappointment too. We understand that you need to cater to a broader clientele but don't compromise food quality so much that you loose the authenticity.

Yani M

We've ordered twice with Uber Eats and this is the best Indian place available from all the places we've tried. First time they forgot the Mango Lassi but no big deal, food is delicious, would definitely order again.

Mike Benway

Fantastic. I have traveled the world and had Indian food everywhere from Britain to Bangalore. Hands down equal to the best I have ever had. I am a regular at the always new, creative and interesting sunday buffet. I feel grateful to live in Providence every time I am here.

charlene nalle

Pretty restaurant busy on Saturday.

Fleur Defries

Authentic and delicious, we eat their food at least once a week.

Chris Riley

Good food. Order the cauliflower 65

Nicholas Twesten

Just fabulous. Special lunch with three different tastes to try (tikka masala chicken, lamb and a veggie dish) and started with a fresh salad with cilantro lime vinaigrette that was absolutely delicious. I wonder why I ever deserve to eat so well every time I go here.

Bardiya Akhbari

One of the best Indian restaurants that I've ever been to. They have an amazing and super delicious Chicken Biriani. The lamb kebab and spicy cauliflower are delicious as an appetizer. The portion of the food is large and you can even eat it as two meals; however, you cannot stop eating because the food is awesome!

Hari Shankar Gupta

Not delicious for the price that you pay. Vegetable biryani tastes veg pulao. I will not prefer thit restaurant

Kirsten Mailhot

The food is always amazing and so is the service. So many wonderful choices and we always leave with leftovers for lunch due to the generous portions! The decor is very and the restaurant is clean. Some of the seating is compact, but they offer more private seating as well.

Rita Hansen

Shrimp and scallop stew with brown rice was delicious! Super friendly waitress.

Anjali Soni

Best place to have Indian cuisine in Rhode Island I love their aaloo tikki chat

lokesh chowdary

I ordered biriyani and Cauliflower Manchuria for pickup, disappointed with both. This is the first time I have had Manchuria that was sweet and they gave Dhal with Biriyani..

juana pina

Delicious India food Would recommend to anyone to try it. Good buffet on Sunday

Matthew Sheehan

I love the food here. I often come for lunch and take away, and I am never disappointed. My go to dish is the Chicken Tikka Lababdar. The lunch special is a great value.

Jaidev Dalvi

The food was good! They have a separate dessert menu and a summer special menu too! The channa masala here was good! Their menu covers a lot of varieties! Definitely a place to try if you like Indian food!

Karina Lalwani

Delicious food with great Vegan options

NARDIP SINGH

Very calm place & tasty food

Kye Ehrlich

Love the food nice atmosphere as well

Benjamin Joseph

grear food great staff

Andrew DeWolfe

We've been going here for years and it is our favorite Indian food, not just in Rhode Island but anywhere. The atmosphere is bright, airy, and cheerful. Service is excellent. The food is really fresh, and so good. Saturday's vegan buffet is awesome.

David Sullivan

Great lunch...lots of flavor and used my 20%coupon...great deal. Lentil soup was awesome...nirvana!

David Forgit

Good stuff. Fresh tasty

Alexandra Lane

My favorite place for Indian food in the area. When I get to choose where I want to eat for my birthday the Saturday vegan brunch is my go to.

Ruchir Verma

Love the buffet here. They serve fresh Naan. Quality of food is good. They have veg buffet on Saturday and veg/non-veg on Sunday. Naan would be charged for on veg buffets.

Boris Z

Great food. I think everyone would enjoy coming in to eat or take out. I would definitely recommend them. I took one star because the food is great but not always consistent. The crew is nice except maybe one of the girl there lol but they do try to do their best Go you won't be disappointed.

Vimal Kurup

Very few things to like about this restaurant. Ambience and service is probably the only good things. Tried buffet earlier today and must say, was disappointed. There weren't enough starters. Tandoori chicken was good. Main course was average. Dhal was bland. Chicken curry was sweet. Can't recollect having had sweet chicken during my 25 years in India. Dessert was the nail on the coffin- wheat porridge. Was disappointed. Wouldn't suggest the restaurant.

Ruchica Manak

Very slow and poor service. We had to ask for plates and spoons. Biryani was good but kathal sabzi was pathetic and they served cold rice as if they were stale.

Wendy Catarino

Love this place!! They have the best Indian food around. And gluten free options to boot! Every time I come home to visit, Rasoi is a must for food stops.

Ravi Dutt

One of the good Indian restaurant in the area..and there are plenty of them in short radius. As expected from an Indian restaurant..Good vegetarian options Normally not a big fan of Thalis, so tried that too and even that was good.

Kelly Stanzione

Delicious food

leo Sangadej

Good food and good service! Sunday buffet is totally worth it! Different selections with no short cuts!! Their spice is perfect! Coming from an asian that eats spicy!!!

Anuj Sharma

Tried Vegetable Samosa and Ras Malai. I loved the taste, it was worth the price. Planning to try weekend buffet sometime

Ajie Sambou

The food was horrible today, salty, too much tomato sauce in chicken tikka masala. Overall today's lunch was a disaster.

Harjit Singh

Tried few times but disappointed every time. Majority of reviews are from people who never had authentic Indian cuisine, most of them assume it's Indian food if restaurant name is Indian. All gravies taste more or less same with no depth of flavor, Nan/Roti are made same texturally , not even close to what it should be. Yesterday, In the name of Chicken lababdar, boiled chicken with some gravy was served, please look at the consistency of the gravy. Does it look Lababdar? Chili Chicken, again boiled chicken tenders with some sort of twisted tomato gravy ( is this how it should be?), really really bad. Servers are nice but food sucks.

Samantha SantaCroce

This place not only has amazing food but the service was even better! I went for dinner and the food came out right away, the servers were very tentative and polite and the atmosphere was very clean. Defiantly would recommend.

Mary Roballo

Rasoi is our favorite Indian restaurant. The food is amazing and the owners are incredibly nice. On Saturdays they have a vegan and gluten free buffet that is delicious. Large selection of options on the menu, many vegetarian and gluten free choices to pick from.

Bradley Scruggs

I have to say it was one of the best Indian food places I've been too. The only complaint I have is that our server switched midway through the meal so I was without a water for quite some time. Other than that if you want some amazing Indian food than this is your place

Amy Ashraf

We loved the restaurant. Very nice environment and food was delicious.

Altamash Memon

The buffet was underwhelming in all aspects. Taste, temperature, ingredients and variety. On top of that I made a mistake of ordering chai afterwards, which was so watery and lukewarm. Horrible experience, embarrassment to Indian cuisine.

rajesh shrestha

Good food. Price okay.

Shashi Sanikop

Mouth watering Indian cuisine. Idlis were out of this world. Lamb Biryani I highly recommend. Only sad part was no Tea is served. Must visit Indian restaurant.

Linda LeBrun

Delicious food and staff makes you feel like family.

Tamar Chobanyan

Best Indian restaurant around! My husband and I love Indian food and have had a good share (including homemade versions) and I have to say, this place does not disappoint. They have vegan and vegetarian options, the buffet is always outstanding with lots of choices, portions are great, and the prices are awesome. They also offer a lot of discounts if you’re part of the curry club. Honestly, can’t say enough good things. Also, service is always great. If you’re ever in the area and like Indian food, go here!

Aaron Womack

Just perfect... Great selection, great variety, perfect taste. Atmosphere is excellent as well. Ashish was one of the nicest servers I've had the pleasure of talking to. He is a great asset to your company. I wish you many years of good business here in my home town. Greetings from Maine.

Maria Gonsalves

Terrible place to go . The waitress gave attitude because I asked him if they have vindaloo naan bread and he didn’t like it . He asked me where did I eat that. I told him I ate it at another Indian food restaurant. He left us alone for few minutes and another guy took over then he came back when I asked for the bill. A very good restaurant don’t have only very good food but an excellent service. This restaurant don’t have an excellent service. I felt miserable

elizabeth taylor

The chefs are creative and offer some neat takes on the traditional Indian cooking that other restaurants offer. Very friendly staff. Totally scrumptious Indian cuisine that offers something for everyone: vegan, gluten free, and meat based dishes. They even have a griddle to make proper dosas! Buffet option on the weekends, one being totally vegan. Be sure to try their other restaurant in East Greenwich called Rasa. It is a bit fancier and with a more intimate environment.

Jennifer Pereira

Delicious food. Excellent staff. Our waiter was excellent and answered all our questions and helped us with ordering.

Arturo O. Russell

Awesome... service was superb

Alice William

I was appalled by the photo display on the restaurant walls. I am curious as to the thought process behind the display. I know that India is a land of different cultures, language, and economic strata. If the intent was to showcase the different cultures, it would have been a wonderful idea. But the photos highlight poor, water scarce, and even poorly clad people. Every country has their poor and homeless. We don't see pictures of that hanging in restaurant walls, do we? I am deeply disappointed, embarrassed even to step into this place. I am not oblivious or disregard the poor. I don't see the need for it to be showcased in a restaurant. I am not a fan of their food either. There are better authentic Indian cuisine available in RI.

Jenny Fisher

I just had, by far, one of the best dining experiences ever here. The meal(recommended by our server), the beer (again, recommended), the service, and the atmosphere were all equally amazing!!

Tyrone Quinland

Awesome Indian food. This place is bright and fun with great staff. Excellent weekend buffet especially the vegan buffet on Saturday.

Amarnath Singh

Loved chhole and saag, my favorite restaurant in RI. But biryani is not good here.

Atul Amin

Service was no good this time. Order was something and delivered something else.

Gloria Lillibridge

Wish I could visit here every day. Great food at reasonable prices.

Josiah Strandberg

We do take out and we like it. It's our go-to place for Indian food.

Mari Mango

Cauliflower 65 is divine

Angela Hong

Great atmosphere, food and service. Great for casual and business dining. I recommend sampler plate! Comes with plenty of naan too

African Girl

omg. I ate here came home n threw up all over the place.

Thomas Brand

Food was ok. Rasa in east Greenwich is much better!

Edward Sutcliffe

Nice atmosphere, clean, but a little bland.

shivakumar Balur

Tried satvic veg meal.. liked it..

Isha Gujarati

Don’t get the buffet - really bad.

Stefanie Rozek

I love going to Rasoi for that special occasion or to have a nice, relaxing dinner with my husband. I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants (as an Indian, I'm pretty picky when it comes to curry and Indian food), and love Rasoi. The service is fast, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the portions are great. Rasoi also has a lot of great promotions and coupons, like free entrées, when you join their FREE e-club. A great place to go for great Indian food!

G Man

Average in my view. nothing to write home about. Ordered a thali. The desert was stored for too long and had turned sour.

Ada Estrada-Williams

Went there recently on Saturday after 2:00PM. (Not a big crowd at that time). Service was slow, food had way too much sauce and not well seasoned, rice was cold and tasted uncooked. To tap it off, the manager/owner stared at us as if we were not welcome there. With so many Indian restaurants in the city, my family and I will not be coming back!

Arlene Fernandez

Great service. Amazing food. Spectacular drinks.

atmanand mittal

Very bad experience, taste was not good

nagendra mishra

Worst Indian Restaurant I had ever visited. Tasteless Food, Bad Service.Waste of time and money.

Emily M

Great food and great people working at the restaurant!

Ashad Abid

Disclosure: I have ordered takeout appetizers a few times but haven’t dined in as yet. The samosas are a family favorite! Every time I have stepped in to pick up my order I have met courteous staff who had the order ready and packed to go. Appreciate the generous portions and well-packed condiments. They have a nice waiting area and the decor looks nice.

Becca Zhukov

We eat here all the time. It is always the same wonderful experience. The food is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, too! We recommend Rasoi to everyone.

Peggy Sah

I got their Bengali Stew which was well balanced and flavorful. We also got a couple of naan (they have really interesting flavors!) which were pretty good as well. The inside looks incredibly welcoming and pleasant, but the floors are weirdly sticky.

A R

Very good Indian food! I would say some of the better on the East Side. Usually our go-to. Plenty of parking and always tasty food! Response from the owner! +1!! We took our parents the other night and they loved it as well!

Jose Ramos

ishu Patel

Great staff loves special my bros from nepal

Robert Mancuso

Good food, but service took a very long time.

Justin Dowlat

Best Indian in Rhode island

Kelly P.

Amazing. Small inside but now I know why people go. Try Cauliflower 65 if you like a bit of spice. Even my teenager loves it. Definitely going again.

Larry Carpenter

We love Rasoi. The service is excellent and so is the food. I love the Cauliflower 65 and the Cauliflower Manchurian (which is surprising as I don't really like cauliflower). They also have pretty good promotions for repeat customers. Also, check out their vegan options including a vegan buffet!

Patti Means

Always fresh and delicious!!

Anik Chakravorty

Amazing hospitality. Had ordered the Bengali seafood stew and my friends ordered the Nirvana thali. Since they forgot to punch my order and it was delayed, they served it on the house and got a free plate of dessert for everyone. Very impressed. Definitely my go to place next time in Providence.

Alex Unger

I love coming here when I visit providence. Great food. Fun waitstaff. A wonderful place for dinner. The cooking class I took here once was very fun.

adam sinel

Always great service & food

David Brookhart

Delicious dinner. Our friends from England and Ireland were very favorably impressed.
