My wife and I went to the Rhode Island Calamari Festival this past weekend and found out about this restuarant. Their balsamic calamari was amazing and got both our votes for the festival! Following the festival, I took my daughter out to eat on a Tuesday night. The restaurant main area had a few patrons, but we decided to sit at a table in the bar area, which was comparatively busier. Our waiter was extremely attentive, accommodating, and personable. Our food and drinks arrived perfectly timed and were both delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and look forward to going back.

Very simple decor makes the atmosphere warm and cozy. Great staff, everyone is friendly and efficient. Our waitress was very willing to give suggestions and extremely helpful in our diner choices but I have a feeling anything you pick will be beyond delicious. We made reservations for Friday on our way out!

I took my wife and two kids for dinner prior to attending a show at the Stadium Theatre. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The atmosphere, the music, the lighting, the staff.... all exemplary. I had a butternut squash ravioli that was truly outstanding, they truly understand Italian food, and some of the best calamari I've had in years.

A small, classy, and elegant Italian restaurant, Parma Ristorante is a true Johnston gem. The service there is unbelievable. Our wait staff was very attentive, friendly, and upbeat. We were highly impressed. The atmosphere is lovely, a perfect venue for a date night with candlelit tables, rich colors, and an overall classic and sophisticated ambience. As for the food, out of this world. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The prices were extremely reasonable for the portion and quality. Wonderful array of choices, the menu is simple and straightforward, yet complete with options for any patron. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone looking for an incredible Italian restaurant. Parma Ristorante will not disappoint!

Parma Ristorante is delicious! It has a nice ambiance and the food is consistently good. This restaurant is perfect for date night or a quiet dinner. Sit at the bar for a more lively crowd and enjoy the appetizers! I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly the lobster ravioli.

They open at 4 pm and it is nice and quiet then. I ordered the rib eye steak. It was so delicious. The bread is made there and there was a bread dip of crushed garlic, red pepper and olive oil with fresh parmesan. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience eating at the bar. Ambiance is fantastic. Food was excellent. Dish wasn't exactly what I expected based on the description, but was very tasty. Staff is very attentive and seem to enjoy working there (I'm always a fan of positive working environments). Def recommend reservations for a Fri or Sat night. The hostess was willing to accommodate us and straightforward with our options. We refused and ate at the bar so we could take our time.

I pick up a to go order for $24 and pay with my credit card. Then i check my statement the next day. And they charged me $ 29....FOR A TO GO ORDER! The food was good, but i didnt eat in. So why the extra $5 charge!?

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!! We stopped in around 7:15 pm on New Years Eve and they seated us immediately. The food was excellent as well as the waiter and the hostess was very accommodating. We will definitely be back. We had originally made reservations before Christmas at another restaurant (Reali's) When we arrived there, they didn't have our reservations on the schedule. I am so glad we stopped by "Parma" now we have another restaurant to go to as we eat out frequently. Thanks so much for accommodating us with such short notice!!!

Food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! One of the best new restaurants in Rhode Island. The Prime Rib on Sunday was large, tender and very flavorable. The service was impeccable. Waitresses was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I would and will highly recommend this authentic Italian style restaurant.

I'm so angry at myself for not trying this restaurant earlier!! Love the ambience, cozy dark red dining room (thinking it might be the perfect place for a valentine's day dinner!) The food was SO yummy. The cioppino was SUCH a huge helping I could barely finish, and it's going to be lunch today. It was CHOCK full of fresh seafood. Staff was friendly and inviting. Definitely returning. Thanks for a great experience, keep up the great work.

Service was good food is terrible they need a new cook. They use way to much salt over cooked pancetta almost broke a tooth. My gnocchi was so over cooked was like moosh. And they serve spinach out of a can. I will never go back

I'd give it more stars if there were more available. Service was top notch - very attentive but not intrusive. Food was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend the Ravioli L'Arrgosta with the scallops that melt in your mouth. The surf and turf was tender and cooked to perfection and the stuffing on the baked stuffed shrimp was delicious. Hubby raved about his ribeye. Ambiance is cozy and inviting. Great for date night, special occasions or if you just want a home cooked meal without having to wash the dishes.
