!! FANTASTIC !! My brother had his rehearsal dinner there for 40 people. Staff was great.. Very friendly and attentive. Food was tremendous...... I recommend the pasta station, it was a big hit.. They have a private room that has a bar and can accommodate between 30 to 50 people comfortably. Place is very clean, and the food is top notch... Also, reasonably priced. I recommend this place highly....

This restaurant was awesome . After reading some not good reviews , I was pleasantly surprised that it was good . We took a friend of ours for her 70th birthday here because , this is her fab restaurant . I have never been. its a pretty ride once you get off of 95. Parking is ample . Inside,it ’s really nice . The service was excellent ! I had the salmon with rice and salad and , it was delicious ! They serve huge drinks . I had the sangria and, loved it mainly because it wasn’t too strong, it was just right . There were six of us and they all loved the food . I particularly like the layout of the restaurant , specially for our 70th year old birthday girl who can’t walk well, it was easy for her to love around and the tables aren’t too close together . The Menu is clean and Easy to read , it was written in a way thats an easy guide to look at, you can maneuver through the menu without bombarding your with many choices . They amount of choices on the menu is just right .

Great experience! I've had this place on my radar for some time and finally had a chance to check it out. Upon arriving, it's easily accessible off of the highway - just a short drive off the exit ramp. There is a ton of surface lot parking, so it's painless to park and mosey on in. Inside, the motif is upscale without feeling stuffy. It's a large space, mostly open concept, with many multi person tables scattered throughout. Since it was a summer evening, it didn't feel too dim inside for me, but if it were winter time, the lighting could be a bit brighter. Though we arrived on a weekday night, but it was still fairly packed. I had made a reservation through OpenTable and it worked great - no wait for our table! We were seated towards the back, and it allowed for good conversation. It's not a noisy place so I think any corner would have worked. It's a seafood slanted menu, but it does have a little of everything for everybody. When we first sat down, our waitress was quick to ask for drinks and then gave us a chance to review the menu. I ordered the house white to start, and settled on the fig and arugula grilled pizza (there was an appealing salsa verde pizza on the menu as well, but the avocado aioli that it's made with contained mayonnaise, so I passed.) The pizza was really yummy! The dough was crispy, not too thick, savory without it being overpowered by garlic or onion, and I really enjoyed the sweet fig smear accompanied by the peppery arugula and goat cheese! The entree was more than I could finish, but I was happy to take it home to have as leftovers. For the wallet, it does run a little pricey, but nothing too exorbitant. Also, given the access and the parking, the overall experience is worth a few more dollars. Enjoy your time!

The service was not the best but I do have to say....The crusted pan seared tuna was out of this world. The drinks are so overpriced I wouldn't even get one. Also as a classy restaurant the bar tender could not make a Bloody Mary without mix. Fix the service and bar pricing and this place would be great.

Held a surprise party for my boss in their event room. What a great room! Private bar and tables, great selection of food was put out. We asked one of the servers which options were gluten-free because I have celiac. They were very knowledgeable about which food items I could eat and then they truly went above and beyond by, without being asked, brought out customized, gluten-free versions of the main dishes and desserts. Everyone truly felt like they were being taken care of, the service was incredible and the food was amazing. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

Amazing food. If you're between the lobster tortellini and the lobster cardinal go with the cardinal, the tortellini are good but the dish is extremely small for what you get. The flavor and dish size is much better in the cardinal

The atmosphere was very nice inside. The calamari appetizer was really large and flavorful. Although the hot and sour soup was not very good. When the waitress came over and seen that we did not finish it she asked why and they took it off the bill. The alcoholic drinks we had were very good a pumpkin martini and a vanilla chai martini along with it PB & C cake which was peanut butter stuff inside of a chocolate cake. Highly recommended.

Normally, very good. Tonight....not good. Service was poor. Took forever. My meal was cool at best. Waitress kept forgetting we were there. Coffee was even like warm at the end. This isn't the norm here, but very disappointed tonight. Wont go back for awhile

This was my first visit an this is my first impression. I took my family there for Thanksgiving Brunch /Buffet. I was embarrassed because I recommended this place. The food was tasteless and bland. The desserts had little to no sweetness. Overall variety was not good for a Thanksgiving meal. The service was very poor. We received no greeting although we had a reservation and we were there ahead of time we had a very long wait. There was a lot of confusion. The wait staff brought the wrong things to our table and other tables around us were getting the wrong orders as well. There were no smiles or courtesy from the wait staff just a lot of rushing around and more confusion. Beverages had to be redone because the ingredients were wrong. In all fairness, I've been told that the regular menu is very good. Will I go back there again? I don't know but I'm sure my family will not be with me. M&M

Great place. Very nice inside. Staff, service and food is great. Reasonably priced and consistently good. They do a great job with parties as well. Had my step daughter tea party there last year and they went over and above what other restaurants would do. Helped me plan it, set up all the China and tea pots, rinsed all my China and helped me pack it up. Nothing broken and did everything with a smile. I even brought in edible flowers for drinks and cake service and never once did they say they couldn't do something. They even helped me unload and load the car twice which was full of China, prizes, favors, tablecloths, tea chests, etc. All in all a fantastic experience! Dave was awesome and so were the staff, head waitress and bartender.

So when it comes to seafood and New England, you've got a lot of competition. Luckily Meritage shows in spades when it comes to atmosphere, quality of food and service from the staff. We've been here a few times, and it's one of my favorite haunts for business dinners, and we've always been pleased. Our most recent visit was for a date night with the wife and I enjoyed my typical lobster dish and my wife had the kebab trio. Unfortunately the trio came out a bit cold, but once we let the waiter know they resolved the situation far faster than we expected and took such good care of us we nearly forgot the incident all together. Despite this one issue we've always head a great time at this place, it's a wonderful slightly upscale but still cozy restaurant, offers great menu choices and has phenomenal quality. We love going here, will certainly back and I highly recommend you check it out if you're in the Rhode Island area. It's definitely worth a bit of a drive.

Today was my B-Day and I felt like doing the Meritage Bar instead of the Fine dinning....So, with that in mind I still received Fine dinning plus a birthday dessert.... This is definitely the place to be.... Awesome staff and atmosphere as well as the food which was just spectacular .... I rate this restaurant 5 Stars all the way.... I just turned 59 and have been to a lot a restaurants in my lifetime.... But, tonight was truly the best!!!!

This was my second visit but will not be my last! This place is really good. The food and cocktails are divine. For upscale dining, you get a very decent sized portion entree. This is truly the best bang for your buck. Indulge in a margarita while you groan from the delectable appetizers they have. Calamari is my favorite. Their martinis are heaven also. But you must save room for the Jamaican Jerk Chicken or the Trio Kabob, or Lobster Cardinale. You see where I am going with this? You truly can't go wrong with the menu. Great for an intimate dinner or a girl's night.

This restaurant for me is stellar always great. Start off at the bar have a margarita. (Ohh yea you may only need one this drink is large.) Order a pizza. For me the fig one. There all delicious.(Apps Half price at the bar before 6). We usually stay at the bar to eat but if you do go to a table the wait staff is great. The food is great. Lobster Cardinal with pink vodka sauce is my go too. Wow just writing this makes me want to go back. Seriously everything I have had here had been great. It's a must in the dining scene.

I went to a baby shower there it was the cheapest food powered eggs and cheap sauage like u get at walmat if I hadn't been there before and had such great food I would never would go back. I don't recommend it for showers, very very disappointed. We're going tonight for dinner and I know we will love it.
