From when we walked it with 6 of us plus a car seat and a infants Samantha was awesome with u accommodating to me and my family. The wait was a hr but she brain stormed and put us in the lounge in high tables so we didn't have to wait so long with kids. She is awesome for that. Jesse our server was awesome. Very friendly as well as very helpful as he could be. They both were in great spirits they were just a all around well rounded people and the food was fantastic and great portions. Great job

Family friendly, reasonably priced. There was a 10 minute wait. Beautiful decor. Looks like an upscale restaurant without the price tag. Staff was warm inviting. Our server was perfect. Food came fast and was delicious. I got the calamari entree and it was huge. Do not order appetizers. My kids loved their chicken parmigiana. Pasta was perfectly cooked. It was a great night out!

I've been coming here for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Sometimes the wait can be long but definitely worth it. The food is always good, I love their lasagna. The portions are very generous so I always bring something home. The wait staff is excellent. It's one of my favorite places to eat.

I've always liked Marchettis for their huge portions and fair prices, but you definitely should make a reservation before going to dinner. Sometimes it gets packed in there. They used to have a lobster roll that was delicious, I wish they would bring it back at a higher price, that's how good it was. The menu is big with a ton of different Italian styled meals from pasta to baked stuffed shrimp to chicken marsala. All yummy!

This is a great place. very good italian food and huge portions of it. A large bowl of salad is brought to the table and a good amount of bread for no extra. my choice was fettuccine with seafood and my companion the one with chicken. I will be eating mine for 2 days along with th rest of the salad. good service as well, nothing was forgotten.

So I was really debating whether or not to post this, but because of the son of the owner's behavior. So today my boyfriend and I were in the restaurant and we were given the bill , which was 96 dollars we gave our credit card over to pay the bill, we get the paid bill back, so we went to tip, upon signing for the tip, we notice the bill was much smaller then we had given the credit card for, thinking that it was either honest mistake or that maybe the owner was taking care of my boyfriend who used to be an employee, we decided to bring it to our waiter's attention, when the waiter got to the table and looked at the bill he stated, that there was a mistake and brought it back to the woman running the cash register, he came back to tell us that there was a mistake, so then my boyfrriend tells him don't worry about it, we'll just pay the difference from the 71 that was billed to our cc cause our bill was 91 so at this point, we're thinking, everything will be fine, I will just pay the difference of the 71, welll, apparently, the host decided to cancel the 71 dollars....., now everybody knows, it takes 5 days for the money to go back in your account, the owner comes over and says, there's nothing he can do and needs my credit card to charge an additional 96 for our dinner, not to worry about it, because it would be refunded in a few days, , now I'm trying to explain to him that isn't the point your tying up 161 dollars, there has to be something else got to be something else we can do.....honestly, his reaction after this was the only reason why it didn't get resolved this evening, the owner proceeded to swear at me, a woman and I didn't even raise my voice through this whole process, I was completely embarrassed, everybody knows you don't want a scean n the middle of a restaurant, the owner, went from. 0 to 100, getting so angry and swearing at me and my boyfriend, and telling us to get the f out, and the we were busting his balls, I will never step foot in this establishment again, how dear you treat your patrons like that, because if we never said anything about paying a lesser Bill, somebody else would've been stuck paying mine, you should be ashamed of yourself, you not only embarrassed me you embarrassed yourself and, more your restaurant... I intend to send my daughter in there to give my waiter his tip because he deserved it and tried he even tried to calm you down to explain it to you, you were too busy screaming at the top of your lungs to even bother to listen...

I went with a group and had reservations for 5pm. We were seated promptly, even though the restaurant was extremely busy and only became busier during our visit. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I had the scallops casino and I can't say enough about how great it was. The portion was huge. Enough for another meal to take home. The parking lot is very big though was full when we arrived, but we were able to park on the street just fine. I don't know if reservations are allowed for smaller parties, but I would recommend them given the number of people waiting when we left at 7. I can't believe I lived in RI for 17 years and only now tried it after coming for a visit!

Had a reservation for our fathers 91st birthday for 10 people, we were sat promptly and the waitstaff was amazing. My sister was delayed arriving due to traffic as she was coming from NH. We ate and drank and enjoyed a slice of cake while the staff sang happy birthday to our dad and all in a timely manner, the food was delicious. Then, the hostess came over to us and told us that she had people waiting for our table and we “NEED TO LEAVE”. We have never been asked to leave any establishment, ever and by such a rude young lady. When my daughter in law went to the ladies room, she over heard her say that she asked us to leave but we wouldn’t. Who does this!!? I posted a review on their FB page where others chimed in about the same rude, young blond girl and then, the review got deleted. We have been gong to this restaurant for 30+ years as well as i have been in the service industry for over 20 years and I have never been treated with such disrespect by an establishment.

This was our first time here and I must say it was a very good experience. Our service from start to finish was top notch. They gave us bread with a warm dipping oil and spices that was very good. Then came the salad and meals that was so good. Each entree was enough to feed 2 people. Prices were right in line with other restaurants for the same thing except this place the food was better than anywhere we have gone to. We had calamari as an appetizer. For entrees we had chicken piccata, chicken parmesan, chicken milano and chicken and penne in a vodka sauce. We all took home food. We could not finish any of our meals. Please try this restaurant if your looking for some good italian food at very good prices. Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed.

Usually have a wonderful meal here, but this time I got the chicken Alfredo and it was not their usual. The fettuccine was way undercooked and the chicken was very dry and the whole meal had very little flavor even after adding extra cheese on top. Quite disappointed with the meal this time.

This is absolutely the best restaurant in Rhode Island. Variety of foods and on each visit i try something new and they never failed to impress. The portions are huge and the price is overall fair, most importantly not expensive. Now actually arguing with myself if this is the best restaurant i ever ate in the US. Update 4/23/19: still amazing. We keep trying different dishes and they all come as a tease to the palates, super super delicious. Update: 4/27/2019 still great Update: 5/19/2019. Still darn good. I am adding more photos. Update: 5/23/2019. Still super friendly staff with delicious food and huge portions. I tried the broiled seafood platter for first time, wow so tasty. Loved the seafood mix. I ll add some photos. Update: 5/ 24/2019 today we tried the broiled fish. They were good and I recommend it if you are a seafood lover.

My husband and I went to Marchetti's for our wedding anniversary. This was a great treat for us; the prices were a bit high BUT...the serving size was abundant. We couldn't finish our dinners (never happens) and had to take the remainder home.

Wow! First time here and we will be back! The food was exceptional with huge portions for the price. Our server Jesse was absolutely amazing... patient, helpful, knowledgeable and funny! Highly recommend making reservations because this place gets busy really quick on the weekends.

The stuffed mushrooms are to die for and their seafood pasta is amazing. I would personally recommend the marinara sauce over the meat one. The chicken parmigiana is also great as is the eggplant. I would definitely come back. They give you very generous portions

Great Place, its typically busy even at 9:30 when I was just there. Great food, they give you the largest portions ever, if you can finish any of their meals you have an extra large stomach and should get that checked out Point being go here for a nice filling Italian meal, and you'll have leftovers for days

Pretty tasty Italian restaurant, great for any occasion. Huge portions, you get about a pound of pasta per entree. I really like the chicken parmesan and the wild mushroom special. This place gets crazy busy sometimes so be prepared for a wait. The staff here are pretty friendly, I've enjoyed the service here.

My husband and I went there for the first time on a recommendation. The place is quite big, service was good, the food was ok. I asked the waiter whether the potatoes were real, he said yes, but they were half and half. He did replace it with a baked. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, the portions were quite large. Traveled over 30 miles, not worth the trip.

Brian our waiter was so nice, very attentive. But this time around my pasta dish the marinara sauce was very watery like the kitchen staff didnt drain the pasta enough. Definitely worth the ride to get there! (1 hour for us!) Tasted the tortellini carbonara!!! Again...delightful!!!!! A must go to if you love good Italian meals.

I was disappointed because I ordered the Chicken Marsala and the menu said breast chicken and I was served chicken tenders. The sauce was great but any Italian would know Chicken Marsala is not made with chicken tenders. Although that was the first disappointed meal I ever had there. It is a great place to eat, good food and great service. I would return.

Celebrating 2 birthdays tonight. First, a big shout out to the 2 young women taking care of us, they were phenomenal. Second, the food is great. Lots of food for little money. My husband and I will have dinner for tomorrow from the leftovers. Highly recommend, enjoy!!!!!

Our party of 8 arrived on time for our 17:00 reservation and were promptly seated in the enclosed and heated patio. The place was hopping, so I'm glad we made reservations. Pros: + Tasty selection of wine at decent prices + The olive oil with roasted garlic = così delizioso! + Portions large enough to feed half an army Cons: - Long wait for drink and food delivery - Main courses were meh taste-wise for the prices being asked - The patio is so noisy!!! Our waiter was as attentive as he could be, but we didn't get our drinks until 15 minutes in, nearly 15 minutes later to get the bread and olive oil starter, and 1 hour 15 minutes total to get our meals. I recommend making reservations, being prepared to wait a long time for your drinks and food, and avoiding being seated in the patio if you can.

We arrived to a super long line spilling outside, but were able to get 2 seats at bar as soon as we checked in. My 1st visit here. The bar was fine for 2! The portions are huge! Definitely can split 1 meal between 2-3 people (easily)! My "super seafood special" with shrimp, (baby)scallops, and chopped clams over linguine with white clam sauce lacked salt, mostly tasted lots of butter, some garlic. Plenty of leftovers bc I hardly made a dent in it. Good place if you want leftovers. The women at the bar were friendly, hustling all night. My margarita was good.
