Went there for the first time last year, loved the sandwiches and the additional foods for sale. Hubby and I have been back a few times since then. So, I raved about this place to another family member, took her there last week and was received rudely. Then the same cashier loudly complained to her co-workers about the deli customers that get on her nerves. What an awful first impression, she (family member) wanted to leave before finishing her sandwich, and won't be back. We had not been treated like that at other visits, however, I can say without hesitation that I will not recommend this establishment to anyone else.

love this place. real deal Italian meats and cheeses and pastas. this is basically a deli with some seats so think of this as to go, not sit down.

Truly Italian deli. Attention to detail. Super clean. Sliced meats and cheeses. Sit down or take out. Pick up authentic Italian grocerys as well . Like fresh pasta and packaged originals. The owner takes alot of pride in his place. Variety of sandwiches and to due for bread. House spread is excellent... very crowded at the lunch hour so .. I go at off times...a bit higher prices.. but so worth it for good ingredients and great service.

The deli is very good but my wife and I love to go here for dinner on Saturday evenings. Plan ahead and make a reservation and enjoy a wonderful, authentic Italian meal. We've never had a meal that was anything except spectacular.

Great authentic Italian hidden gem. Great sandwiches, and home made meat tortellini. Whether you are looking for a sandwich or hot plate, quick reasonable and always consistent. Also, small market place with ravioli and tortellini to take home.

Was expecting much more out of this place being it was on Triple D. Felt the sandwiches lacked ample amount of meat. Yes the quality of the meat seemed good just wasn't enough. Tried 2 separate sandwiches and both lacked in meat.

It was very busy, but received our sandwiches quite timely. AND THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!! And a wide selection of imported Italian items. Definitely a good place to go have a great lunch.

1st off the most important thing, the food here was excellent! The house dressing really takes it to another level. I will definitely be going back. Best sandwhich I've had in a long time. The only reason I can't give 5 stars was the service. Everyone was a little rude, it was lacking in hospitality and they were a little unorganized. Still highly recommend

This is the best Italian deli I have found in the Providence area. We love the prices and the quality of the food! The service is always good too! Try their premade stuff and sandwiches too.

The sandwiches here are always amazing. I prefer the porchetta it the combination. Pair that sandwich with a meat tortellini soup and it's that much better. The special sandwiches are always a good choice as well.

I have been to this establishment a few times and I can honestly say that they have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Today I placed an order that the cashier took in correctly. When I pointed out that she had made a mistake on my order she actually blamed me and continued to argue with me that it was my fault instead of just apologizing and fixing the mistake. This is the problem with these mom and pop delis, they don’t understand what it’s like to be professional and provide good customer service. This is the last time I will be at this establishment.

The food at this place was great. I went here because I saw it on an episode of Diners Drive-in’s and Dives. I had the Italian Brasado Grinder and it was heavenly. The beef was tender and perfectly cooked. The bread is baked on site and fresh. We also had the tortellini soup. The tortellini are made fresh on site. The broth for the soup was perfectly seasoned and the tortellini delicious. The owner is a great guy and even posed for a picture under the food network poster. I will definitely return next time I am in the area.

The sign maybe be old and faded looking . But the inside is nice and surprisingly much bigger than it looks . It's clean and has a variety of Italian foods to pick from as well as a deli , the menu offers plenty of food to choose from . It's more of a lunch / take out menu . They have both eat in and to go options. The employees are attentive, friendly and don't rush you out the door . Another surprising discovery I made , is a patio just to the left of the door. It's a good size area with clean tables and chairs that , although they may not look it, are very comfortable to sit on and big enough to make any size "dari-air" comfortable. The bushes are tall and dense enough for privacy and fairly quiet area to eat in . I'm going back to check out more of the shelve products . Unfortunately I went when I couldn't spend more time checking it out .

Sick of Subway? Go here. They know their delis and Italian meats. Prices for sandwiches are more than worth. Prices for the meats are high but are worth the quality, especially since most of them seem to be imported from the home country.
