Just finished 16 hour work day - missed dinner. Found this place via google's explore the area feature, boasting late nite food - open till 2 am. As it was already 12:30 am and everything else is closed, i was happy to find a place still serving food and didn't really care that other's have reviewed this place as having average food and atmosphere. Drove 10 minutes and arrived at 12:40 a.m. - hungry as heck. Guess who isn't open right now?

Used to be better and less expensive...bagel I had was of such poor quality that I could have done better in the frozen food section of my grocery store..and only 2 varieties available...the waitress staff is as cordial and kind as ever.

The young waitress brought me my coffee... left, and didn't come back for 10 minutes...it wasn't all that busy, that in itself wasn't bad enough she failed to leave half and half for my coffee... I don't drink it black...and dispite my vigorous arm waving during that time to get her attention she finally rushed over and asked me what I needed...she rushed away and whispered something to her fellow worker that looked my way and they both chuckled...I guess my other head was showing... came back with the little packets of cream dropped them... didn't say anything and left... I finally got my breakfast of poached eggs and ham... which was decent enough but I didn't see her again until much later... I wanted more coffee during my meal when I ran out but I didn't feel that waving my arms again was the way to go... I left without my usual generous tip...my family owned a breafast lunch restaurant years ago... I've been around...and I won't be back to Foodworks.

Came here for the eggs benedict aka "The California" IT WAS SUPERB never get rid of this item hence reason for my 5 stars honestly, I'd give 10 if I could it was that delicious!! Also ordered the Tito's bloody mary which was VERY good and light! Will be back here when back in town for this exact meal lol

Foodworks is the best brunch in town! We had the Portuguese Benedict and breakfast burrito and shared a pitcher of mimosas (We were on vacation ;) ). Great local flavor and atmosphere.

Herd good things. Got a BLT with Turkey. Co worker got tuna sandwich and bacon on side. •bread not toasted on BLT •no turkey • no lettuce on tuna melt. •no side of bacon. Maybe it was a bad day but the order was incredibly wrong and not done right in any way.

They charge a lot for coffee and certain items. Very average and seems to be getting less business because of it. Needs a facelift. Chair legs and table bases disgustingly dirty, obviously haven't been cleaned in long time. Makes you wonder what's going on in the kitchen!

First visit was great. Second not so much. Cold food. Middle of fresh baked bun was frozen and fresh fruit looked like it was a rasin. Disappointing but they did take items off the check. Heading to McDonald's for breakfast.

We have become extremely disappointed with our breakfasts over the past two months of visits. We have been faith filled customers for many many years and feel it necessary to make the following comments. We intend to share the details with the Food Works Management since we believe the issue lies in the kitchen oversight. We sincerely hope a change will take place in so far as the quality of the food. The restaurant staff is extremely cordial and ready to assist in making customers pleased. However the servers should not have to apologize for kitchen errors.

it could have been good food but the server was horrible so the food was so cold the butter would not even melt. the server never came around. not even to refill coffee or ask if we needed anything. not even a check back to see if everything was ok. it took her over a half hour just to come take our order then another half hour to bring the cold food. need i say anymore, i would never go there again. the worst service i have ever encountered anywhere i have been. a waste of 25 bucks for breakfast. should have gone to mcdonalds

I think foodworks is great. I mean a great price for two eggs farm fresh sausage and bacon. French toast and homefries. 9 dollars. Sausage are hugh but delicious..I like them butterflied . CUT IN HALF. Waitress and decent people come here to eat. They open at seven and close at 2pm.. Good lunches also cheap and fulling. Believe me Im picky. Place is immaculate!!

I've been coming here now for over two years periodically from time to time and I got to say the service is always been excellent and the food is always been better than when I cook at home. I know sometimes that might not sound like a big deal but I can cook some pretty good food so to say I was never disappointed when coming here would be an understatement.

Fantastic breakfast - the consistently best restaraunt I have been to during my short trip to Rhode Island! Speedy service and a host of friendly, attentive waitresses are just icing on the (pan)cake! ;) I highly recommend their omelettes and blueberry coffee. Give it a try - you won't regret it!

Reasonable prices and delicious breakfast. Forget toast, try a delicious scone (with raisins) or a blueberry muffin! They even offer to toast it on the grill for you. While they offer lots of options, like omelettes and benedicts, you can't go wrong with their eggs and home fries (got mine with corn beef hash). It's self seating and there might be a wait for tables, but it was well worth being patient. So glad I tried this place :)
