We came here this past weekend with a relatively larger group (10 adults, 1 child and a baby!). Our waitress was kind enough to do separate bills which made paying at the end easy to do. The prices are super affordable for eating out, however the portions match the prices. I don't think anyone in our party had leftovers. Food came to our tables in waves, and I'm a bit unsure that I got what I ordered, but it tasted good. This place is affordable, decent food, I'd recommend coming when you want to get decent Mexican food. This is not a place you'd go on a date.

El Azteca is a hidden gem, This place has a comfortable vibe that promotes unwinding after a long day. The food is really good and feels like comfort food. El Azteca serves dishes with awesome portions and good prices. This place has tables and dining on one side and a full complement bar on the other. The drinks served at the bar spell out quailty and good prices with a chill never over crowded environment.

The worst place ever, we did arrive, it took 20 minutes to the waitress just to take our order, waitress so unbelievably unfriendly. We we're the only people in the restaurant, and they just keep ignoring my family. Nunca vayan a ese lugar.

Shrimp Diablo and fajitas are soooo good! Everything is good! Their homemade salsa is to die for! Sopa Pilla for dessert is a MUST!! LET ME TELL YOU I WILL EAT ANYTHING BUT If I could give zero stars I would this food was the equivalent of dog food. First the order was WRONG. After eating my nachos (the most simple thing to make) they should just call them grease covered chips, I felt my cholesterol go through the roof. I love salty junk food but this food was atrocious minutes after eating this I feel sick. Would love to see in the kitchen because by the way the food was prepped and handled you can tell there’s cross contamination and questionable quality of food. We will never order this trash again!

The food was ok but the wait was horrible. I called in a to-go order and they tell me 20 min I wait about 25 min and head out to the restaurant to pick up my order and still waited at the restaurant for another 20 min to just get the wrong order, and when I called to let them know that now I'm home and I'm not going to come back to get my order fixed they had the worst attitude and didn't want to refund me because I didn't want to bring the food back! After a good 10 min of going back and forth with the person on the phone she finally agreed to refund me. Never I rather burn my money then give these ppl business they are absolutely horrible.

The food here is so unbelievably delicious!! The staff is warm and inviting and the price is fair. The only complaints I had, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, were they didn't accept my american express card and the music constantly skipped lol but other than that it was awesome!

My wife and i were starving and we were looking for a place to eat, when we stumbled on this restauraunt. We read the reviews but had mixed feelings based on what we read so we decided to give it a shot. BAD IDEA. The food was bland, the quesadillas were extremely salty, and the chicken soup was watery and had WAY too much cilantro. When my order for my steak quesadilla came in it was thrown on a plate with nothing on it and had no flavor, other than the overbearing salt. I was happy to pay my bill of 20$ to just get out of there and never go back. To top it all off the staff were wearing T-shirts that said "Best food in town"... best food in town? I wouldn't feed that food to my dog.

We recently moved to the area and though we would try this restaurant. It was 6:30 on a Saturday evening and the parking lot was nearly empty, which should have been a red flag. I checked the reviews online before going in, and I suspect that things have drastically changed since the four and five star reviews were posted. The food was close to inedible. We ordered Enchiladas and they were dry, tasteless, and chewy with watery insides. I am very sorry to post such a negative comment but it was very disappointing after anticipating enjoying a nice dinner after a long day.

Food was ok, a little over cooked and dry meat, no beans only goop in the refried beans that came with the meal. Margarita tasted only of the sour mix and nothing else. Only saving grace was the chips and salsa that came complimentary with the meal.

if i could give this place zero stars i would. i just left this place and it was by far the worst experience i have ever experienced. first off we got there on mothers day at around 8 and it was not busy at all like maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant.. bad sign.... so my husband and i sit at the bar where there is a woman there doing who knows what, does not acknowledge us at all so i say hi and she responds and thats it....nothing else.....maybe they did not know i was hispanic or what but i overhear the other waitress trying to decide who will serve us....great customer service right? so any who we order a corona and a frozen margarita....i taste the margarita and it literally taste like nothing so i inform the woman behind the bar that it does not taste like anything...she had actually mixed this....and said how odd and continued about her business, putting cups away...once she was done she came over and literally through my drink in the blender added a pocket of sweet and low and blended it....then put the drink back in front of...okay still tasted like nothing. so my husband and i ordered a number 26 with chicken and a chicken and cheese quesadilla. the food comes out and my plate is drowning in red sauce, his plate is literally a small quesadilla with not even sour cream....its a mexican restuarant, if your does not come with not even quesadilla the server should have said something right? so anywho we tell the server that this looks awful she said nothing and whisks the plates away no sorry no nothing so at this point i am furious and ask to speak to the manager, he comes out and begins to argue that my husband ordered a plain appetizer quesadilla even though the quesadilla is not part of the appetizer section and literally begins to argue with me about it, the first bartended who did not acknowledge us started saying how she had asked us if we wanted something even tough she did not take our order, again this woman did not acknowledge us so i did not care to hear from her. however, i have never experienced a manager literally go back and forth with a customer like this, maybe because i spoke spanish they felt like they could treat me how they wanted but i am disgusted by how they acted i can not believe this is how they treat their guests. shocked to say the least

This Place Has awful Mexican Food. Its Not Authentic. I Had Ordered Nachos with the works. I Was Given Soggy Chips With Barely any lettuce. But it was passable considering you cant mess up nachos. But, I've Had Better. Not Worth $10 dollars though. Never Order Their Burritos! I Ordered Grilled Steak Burritos And I got A Soggy White Powdery Tortilla. With only Bland Steak that Looked Like Was Preheated. And My Lettuce Was On Top. I've Never Had a burrito with Lettuce on top. The Lettuce May I add Was Dry. I Was Unsatisfied with my order completely. I Spent $20 dollars on just those two items. Their Service Was Blah. I Had Asked for salsa Verde And I Got some Dark Chopped up sauce that looked like Mole Had Been Blended. It Wasn't Even spicy. Made Me Wonder if they were even Mexican. I Do Not Recommend this place. I will Never Come here Again.

Visited for the first time after being told it was a good place to eat, however we left VERY DISAPPOINTED. We will NOT be returning. First we ordered our drinks and about five minutes later we ordered our food. After waiting 40 minutes and two baskets of chips later, we asked the waitress how much longer it would be. She told us our food was coming out now. 20 minutes later we still did not have our food. The waitress then tells us we would have to wait another 15 to 20 minutes, and that we could choose to wait if we wanted. She was rude and did not pay much attention to us, as my boyfriend had to get her attention to refill his beer. After a VERY LONG wait, we decided to cancel our order. They are LUCKY we even paid for the two beers and a margarita that tasted more like strawberry juice. Smh. Never again!!!!!
