We had the seafood device special & it was very fresh & tasted wonderful. I had the Pechuga Relleno with a mole sauce. It was one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had! Service was great. The people are really friendly. We keep coming back!

Fantastic places for drinks and authentic cuisine. The drinks were strong, the service was amazing and super fast especially for a packed Saturday night. They offer valet so parking was no issue. The owner even came over and thanked us for coming and asked if we are enjoying our experience. Definitely a must try restaurant in the Providence area! Check it out!

Great food and wonderful service. Our bartender explained a couple tequilas to me and I wasn't disappointed with the decision to try out the Maestro Dobel. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly. I ordered the Bistec a la Mexicana, it had a bit of heat to it, although the flavor of the sauce and meat was awesome. My other half had the Borrego a la Barbacoa. We were both pleased with our meals, even though the prices were a bit higher, it was definitely worth it.

In "little Italy" aka the Hill, I choose to eat Mexican... as per usual. I love date night here. Every entree I've ever had has been spectacular, last night was no different. My man had the braised pork shank, which was so juicy and tender, to die for. I had the flank steak which was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The drinks here are phenomenal! Like amazing, my go to spot for a spicy jalapeno margarita. We tried the black bean soup, it was tasty but a bit on the plain side. As well as the shrimp ceviche which was on the sweet side? I'm used to the tartness from the lime juice, it was no means bad just different. I always sit at the bar and have spectacular service. Juliet was a super sweetheart and very attentive even with a full bar/restaurant.

It was pretty good. The appetizer with nachos, guacamole, jalapeños and salsa was great. I also had "aguachiles", which is swrimp ceviche, and I enjoyed it, and a margarita, of course.

Food was worth the 45 min wait for our reservation. Horchata is on point. Get the table side guac and salsa! Ceviche was delicious, entire staff was extremely pleasant and accurate, atmosphere is very welcoming and memorable. Expect a wait on a weekend but be impressed with the experience.

This is a great place for authentic Mexican food and drinks. Our server Claudia is always extremely friendly and very attentive! She always makes sure that our drinks are never empty and that we are having a good time. I highly recommend the table side guacamole and the Paloma’s !

I've been to Tortilla Flats, Fiesta, and a Mexican restaurant in Fall River, and this is real authentic Mexican food. The waitstaff were welcoming and prompt. Although, I didn't have a margarita here they looked really darn good and were described with good ingredients and no fillers. The food was amazing! From the guacamole, chips, salsa to the main courses! Great atmosphere as well, like you're in a Mexican town :) Def go if you're on Federal Hill.

Went there with a group of friends good atmosphere. Table side guacamole was made well wish the chips had a little more taste. Drinks were mixed well and service was great. I had the chicken burrito which great portion size and delicious.

Everything was fine until I asked for a small side of sour cream and was given it .when I got the bill the wife noticed a 1.75 $ dollar charge for the sour Cream being that it's only 2 bucks I didnt make a big deal .however when asked the waitress "dont you think you shouldve mentioned that you will charge me extra for it ?" And her response was "I didnt feel like I had to explain that if u ask for something itll be an extra charge ...I was so dumb founded with that response I couldnt believe it .so i said when I asked for a glass of water should I have assumed that ur gonna charge me extra for it ? They deffinitly need better trained staff maybe in Mexico theure smarter and know that anything u ask for is extra but us dumb Americans have to be told if were gonna be charged extra . Never goin back to this place .

Awful service, made us wait over 40 min for our food and when we politely asked where our food was, her response was "you'll have to wait just like everyone else." Not to mention they sneak small items such as $2 side of watery sour cream (which is insane in itself) onto the bill without telling you hoping that you wont notice. Sneaky and greedy establishment. WILL NOT be back ever again. -1 Rating if I could! PS build the wall!!!!!!!

The prices are a little higher than Mexican food elsewhere however the quality is very good. Drinks are good. Had the swordfish special and it was excellent. Nice piece of fish, not some small portion. Well cooked. Also had the fried calamari appetizer and that was delicious as well.

Only been here once but I was very impressed. Got the fajita special for two and large variety appetizer. It was a ton of food and we had enough leftover for one meal. Quality was excellent. Service was incredibly fast (restaurant was probably half full). Prices are typical for a sit down Mexican restaurant. Considering it's located on federal hill, the prices are pretty reasonable.

Started of with a michelata bartender forgot it comes with tomato juice, transferred to table with friends. Service was slow, I ordered combo fajitas. They had almost no flavor, beef was over cooked. Table side guacamole was missing flavors. No heat no granulated garlic no lime juice was very bland

Service was okay, we ordered the steak tacos w/rice & beans. Let's just say it was more tortilla than meat, the beans were too salty and rice was not good. The meat flavor was good on the meat but not worth the money. We were not satisfied/full @ the end of our meal. Their salsa & chips were probably the only thing we enjoyed

Perfect place to experience Mexican culture, their decoration makes you feel at the actual Dia de Los Muertos. Their service is very good. The owner of the restaurant was very kind to us. The food is fresh and tastes like homemade, especially the famous rice and beans.

Worst lunch experience ever. The waitress barely took the time to take our order and then never returned with the beverages requested. I had to physically go up to the bar to get our check to close out our tab at the end (which was technically our beginning). Horrible, rude experience. Epic disappointment.

This is our all time favorite restaurant. We go there for most important events like birthdays and anniversaries. Forget "On the Border", go to an authentic Mexican restaurant and in my opinion of going there for 11 years this is the best. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Try the "Molcahetti Azteca". I know I spelled it wrong but try it. The Mexican version of a PuPu platter. And the grilled cactus and grilled cheese will surprise you. With a wall full of Tequilas to drink you can't go wrong. Say hello to Jamie if he is there. He has been running the place since we started going and throws a mean Cinco de Mayo party complete with a Marriachi band.

For having gone to Federal Hill a lot in the past, I never stumbled upon this place until a friend recommended it. At first I was pretty excited and figured it was a hole in the wall place. The food is pretty pricy for the portions. Three soft tacos was $15, and the smallest drink they offered I ordered was $11. The drink was amazing but the food was okay, it was a little dry, but was pretty authentic and filled me up. It also took forever to get our tab closed which kinda sucked, but not the end of the world. The waitress was really nice. Lastly, the food gave my friend and I upset stomachs the next morning. Usually never an issue but it could’ve been the food we got. Overall, decent place to try, but not a go-to.

Really good atmosphere here. They have both inside and outside seating. I sat outside and they seemed to think it was going to rain so they put an umbrella on our table while we were there so super good service. As noted in the name of the restaurant amazing selection of tequila and margaritas. Kind of pricey but I would recommend.

A fantastic eatery. From the great atmosphere to the fantastic service and the somehow even better food, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I got the shrimp fajitas, I have never had such perfectly seasoned shrimp in my life. The tortilla chips were perfectly cooked (I may have splashed some lime on them from my boyfriend's margarita... YUM!). If you're in Providence I recommend stopping by, the prices are fair especially for the city and for how much food you get.

Food and drinks was amazing! Visited our friend in Boston and decided to take a drive to Rhode Island. Had lunch here and it was great! The guava margarita was amazing!!! Ordered that after we had the Cheesecake and Godiva martinis. Also good.
