The food we had here was really good. The staple at mexican restaurants is usually the chips and salsa. This place excels at the salsa part and their guacamole is out of this world, albeit expensive. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the corn chips. They were thick and lacked in taste and salt. I'd still recommend this restaurant and plan on returning.

The food here is really good. I also love the margaritas. I think what makes this restaurant so great though is the service. I've been here twice, once with a big party, and one time for lunch. Even with a huge table the food came out quickly and it was delicious. The servers are really attentive. I'll be going back for sure.

Update to my 5 star review! So disappointed. Went last month and loved it (see below). Went with my boyfriend last night and it was so different. Sat at the bar and the bartender seemed really nice. My boyfriend was looking to order one of the many, many options of tequila they offer. Not being an expert in tequila, he asked the bartender for some guidance as to what he might try. Bartender immediately jumped to the $50 and $60 per glass selections! There were plenty of options between $10 and $20 to suggest. I get that it's their specialty but c'mon. He definitely read us wrong and it was a bad attempt to get us to upgrade. That's a $30-$50 jump! We felt uncomfortable after that and left a bad taste... boyfriend ordered a beer, I finished my drink, and we left for somewhere else. Won't be going back This was our experience and review in March: What a great experience! The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. I was looking for authentic Mexican food in a non chain atmosphere and they were perfect for a night out with my teen daughter.

Mexican is probably my favorite food only falling behind Indian. After a quick Google search I found this place, and to my surprise as I actually live close by and never knew it was there. Offering outdoor seating as well as spacious indoor dining the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The bar seating was as expected and the drink selection was notable. I ordered the Berry Margarita that was light and freshing. As a first for me the free chips are offered with 4 samples of sauces to try. I ordered the barbacoa burrito and it was outstanding, the presentation, taste and size were of the best I have ever seen for Mexican. Price wise it was above average but the food was also above address so no qualms there. About the only issue I had was that the service was a bit slow keeping me from giving this place 5 stars.

THE GUACAMOLE omg the guac speaks for itself, don't pass it up. I've been here for a birthday dinner as well as for lunch with my boyfriend. Whether busy or quiet, the staff are always happy and friendly sometimes adding a few jokes in while they serve. The cucumber jalapeño margarita is my favorite. We will be back!

A fantastic, authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was excellent, with a very friendly staff. The food prices are good , but the Margaritas are $14.00 . They are served in large plastic cups, jammed with ice. Although very tasty, way over priced for the actual amount of liquid. I heard other people complaining about the price of the Margaritas as well. Other than that the restaurant is excellent. I will definitely go back .

We've been several times now and love Condessa. Authentic Mexican cuisine. Great bar and atmosphere. Our Servers have always been the best. I recommend reservations. Can't miss. You'll love Condessa. If you like a good Margarita get "The Don". Best you'll have in Rhode Island. No margarita mix here folks. All natural. We'll be back. Highly recommend

This is the third time I have been to the location in Warwick. They serve nachos with four incredible sauces first. The food is excellent. Service staff is incredible. Our waiter came over a number of times and was just incredibly nice, especially to my 12 yr. old. I would recommend, nice atmosphere.

Love coming here! The food is amazing, and service super friendly. I lived in temporary housing 2 mins away and came here a lot over a 3 month stretch. Highly recommend for fresh and (I would imagine) authentic food. The fresh guacamole is fantastic, and I love the salsa verde. My son (2) loves the beans that come with the chips and salsa, and they were happy to bring him extra.

love love love everything about Condesa! they have the nicest waitstaff, the food is excellent and always made with care. i also love the decor! i spent a couple of years in Mexico and miss the culture and the food. this place fills that little hole in my heart ;) i can pretend i were in Condesa. it's the perfect place for family meal, and a great place for a drink at the bar during the week when it's not so crowded.

Food is very good, but when we were there last Saturday, the service was too rushed! Not relaxing at all. The waiter seemed like he was on high speed from when we first sat down. We had barely gotten our appetizer, when the meal showed up. In addition, a new group of guests came in next to us, and we heard the waiter promise to let half of the new group have our table shortly.....but we weren't finished with our drinks and had not even asked for the check yet. We were in and out within 1 hour. Totally ridiculous!!
