If you're in the mood for Chinese or seafood, even Italian food this place has it, and a huge buffet salad, not to mention there good display of desserts that are also great. Heard rave reviews about prime rib on buffet was misinformed and it's not till after 4 PM rest of selections we good. Only thing is you leave restaurant and walk right into clouds of smokers to make you ill. So disappointed my wife lost her meal. State law requires minimum distances from public entrance.

Horrid!-- old sad food mixed with cold food hot food nothing was filled-- containers were left with food barely warm spoiled looking food nothing fresh I'm sorry if you found this excellent maybe I was there on a bad night. I like buffets but this was just one raunchy nasty expensive mess for what it was. STAFF very friendly and they're trying their best. Overall stay home make a nutritious meal. if you have any food allergies this is not a place you want to go to--you will find fish right next to meat you'll find proteins mixed with cold items it's just a disaster stay home have a lovely meal with your family and enjoy.

One star because there's no option for half a star. If you want to pay for explosive diarrhea, this is the place for you. The food is processed and disgusting. There wasn't a single thing that was satisfying. I will never go back again.

I like my meat medium rare but this is blood red rare needed to ask them to refire both of my kids meats then they came back looking well done my knive on my table was dirty and the girl gave an excuse of water reside from the dishwasher no excuses even from water spots to have it placed on table the fresh foods were fresh but anything that was prepared is far from being anything excellent

Only thing they need to fix is the rate in which they replenish the buffet. If it's a busy night you may be waiting a while to get some of your favorite items. Other than that the food is great and pricing is fair.

Food was hot and delicious. They had a wide variety of food . Sushi ,finger food, American,and Chinese food.The employees were very pleasant especially one named Tuesday. She was so kind and attentive. The only thing i would say they could improve is ice cream. It taste good, they have desserts, and toppings ,but the ice cream has to be scooped out. It s really no biggie overall great place to eat.

We found Bristol Buffet on Facebook and saw the menu and became instantly interested. We took a trip from East Providence. The food was good but the service was not. We do Buffet style restaurants a lot and this was by far the worst service. Our waitress’s interaction and service with the “American Family” at the table next to us was great and wish we had that same service, but did not.

Don’t be fooled by the prime rib in the picture! This is the worst buffet I have ever been to! And unfortunately I went twice! I thought if I went earlier I would not get dried out food again. The food just sits there! No replenish no replace.. humor us and go play with it at least! Really bad, some of it looks days old! I predict they will close soon!

There are so many great choices here including your favorites. Their General Tso's Chicken is so different, it's worth going there just for that. The Italian specialties are as Italian as they get and the "gravy" is to die for. Highly recommend!

Went to this resturaunt got seated quickly asked for our beverages and proceeded to grab our food. The food quality isn't the best some items are cold and tasteless. After my first round my drink is gone. As well as the others. not one stop by by the server besides after we sit down with our first plate to see how things are going before we even started eating. We go our whole meal waiting for our server to come back and check on the table to request some more beverages but she is found texting and talking around the corner. Given the poor service and not receiving our refill until she comes back around after dessert is already finished and had empty drinks the entire time. I asked for our refills as I'm parched after all our food. We finally get the the bill 20 mins later after she asked if we were all set. At this point ready to leave. Neither of our party's decided to tip our waitress due to the fact there was no attention served to outlet table besides a couple plates of food we had eaten. Later that evening after moderately having a good time out with our friends. We see a very nasty disrespectful post about us on social media saying very rude comments about our visit and not tipping due to the poor service. And then followed to be harrased by the waitress only a couple hours after we had left the restaurant. Managers handled the situation very poorly and I received my refund for my food. I will not going back to this location. As there are far better buffet for a better price and less of a hastle for a bite to eat. If you do seem to find yourself in this restaurant make sure you tip or you'll find your private information all over social media. Thanks for reading.

Loved my experience here. Was a little skeptic at first because of the reviews but after driving 40mins from where i live i can honestly say both my fiancé and i loved it! Great variety of food(great quality) and i love how everything is separated by sections! Everything is neat and clean, owener even checked and refreshed foods while we ate making sure everything was great. Service was exceptional. Im not sure what others experience has been for the bad reviews but i loved it so much i even uploaded a pic or two.

We went for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. The front doors were a greasy filthy mess full of hand prints. I was reluctant to grasp the pull to enter. We did venture in however. We were seated promptly and attended by the waitress immediately. The vast selection of food was nice, but not all of it looks good. Some things apparently sit for long periods in the steam table. I went up for the prime rib. As the carving person was shaving a piece, I was told I could have only two pieces and that I would have to consume this tiny portion first and come back. Nowhere that I could see on their website does limitations appear. What an extreme disappointment. We traveled over an hour for that non fulfillment of the photographs they post. Unlikely to return.

Took my mom out to lunch after reading the reviews, we went before dinner service that starts at 4:30. Let me start by saying WE WILL NEVER RETURN! the food was absolutely disgusting and had been sitting there for hours, the waitress knew because she had told us if there is anything we see and it's dry to let her know and they'll get us something fresh! REALLY?! everyone raves about the prime rib, seafood etc.. that may be good I would not know, but I do know that the lunch food was absolutely terrible! Old, dried out, salty just all around bad! We told our waitress and she acknowledged that the food had been sitting out for too long and that she had informed her manager, and suggested they only do lunch service for X amount of hours because of this issue. Our bill came and I paid and left. And yes the manager knew of the disappointment and how horrible the food was, but never said anything to us. The waitress apologized repeatedly but it is not her fault!

Mother’s Day 2019. Made reservations a week in advance for 14 people. The restaurant separated us into three tables in a separate room. At the start of our reservation for breakfast at 10:30am, we came to realize that there was absolutely no food left at the buffet. Over 20 hot trays were completely empty of food and were only refilled in 30 min increments. With our reservation only giving us 1.5 hours to get food, sit, and eat, we expected to have food ready to be served. Apart from the lack of food, the restaurant was clearly understaffed and unprepared for the amount of people that was there. We were even witnessed to one of the employees coming out of the kitchen swearing at customers, (to a mother nonetheless)! These are just a few big things that really made this Mother’s Day unforgettable. If the tip was not already included in the bill, we wouldn’t have left one. On top of the fact that we were charged 18 adults instead of 14 adults and 4 kids under 7; thankfully that was corrected. Needless to say, we will never be back and anyone we come into contact with will know about our experience. 1 out of 5 stars is way too generous.

A lot of food trays were empty for quite a while. Actually had to tell the staff that there were several trays were empty and it took at least 30 minutes to be filled. They finally came out when i was about to leave. I went there to have some clam chowder. My favorite is chicken marsala. There was nothing but mushrooms. I waited and it never came out!!

Absolutely worst experience tonight!!! Took my family to dinner here at about 5:30pm this evening. Upon choosing our food and taking our seats, we noticed an odor and an "off" taste to our wonton soups. It smelled of mold. One bite and you knew something was not quite right (and as the odor hit your nose). We immediately notified the waitress and shared our concern that something was off and had possibly gone bad. Each of us had chosen differing ingredients at the make-your-own soup station, so it was hard to report what might be off. My soup smelled horribly, as did my daughter's, but my husband's seemed less so. The taste, like I said, confirmed the smell in one bite We were discreet and polite as the restaurant was quite full. We invited her to smell the soups to which she declined. She quickly took our bowls away and we felt as though she would take action to resolve the issue. My children were all very disappointed, but it was that or risk them becoming ill. Easy choice. Due to the apparent freshness issue, dinner wasnt very enjoyable with all of us wondering how the rest of the food was stored and/or prepared. When the bill came, I asked the waitress to have a word with the manager/owner as it was apparent she hadnt reported our poor experience with anyone. The bill hadn't been discounted, nor had anyone visited our table to apologize for the experience. The owner came to our table and at first was kind and polite, letting us know he would swiftly check on the food. I warned him that quite some time had expired and how disappointed I was that his waitress wouldn't have taken sooner action with so many diners in the restaurant. He smiled and left us. When he returned he had a bowl of wontons and was eating them with a fork in a "see here.. they're fine!" fashion. Ummm?? (God bless your digestive track later??) So as he explained how "fine" they were walking away.. I was floored as he left the bill at the table as is. Still, not even an apology. We weren't inventing the smell or taste. All of us were quite repulsed. My husband and I work very hard for our money and were disgusted that the owner wouldn't even extend an apology, nevermind some kind of compensation for our very poor experience. We've patronized this establishment several times.. but never again!!! We will spend our hard earned money where it is appreciated and respected and where it is well worth it! Bless all those bellies that ate here tonight!! This establishment cared less about the welfare of their diners. Disgusting on so many differing levels!!!

I give one star only because the food was ok but zero star for the respect and service. Starting with the waiting time for our drinks, we didn't get them until after we started eating. The waitress didn't introduce herself (not social at all or welcome us for being the first time visit). She went directly to ask what we wanted for drink... she never came to check on us, like the other waitresses did with their customers. Never asked if we wanted more drinks or ask how the food was. She never even smiled. I'm not sure if that just happened because she's a lazy person or she just wasn't comfortable serving a Hispanic family. I'm definitely never going back there!
