I really like Indian food and live only 8 minutes away I really wanted to like this place. But I was disappointed Service is casual at best. It took 15 minutes to put in our drink and entrée choice. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and a total of 40 minutes to get our food. It was not worth the wait. I ordered a vindaloo dish and my wife ordered a chicken entree. My meal was bland and after eating a vindaloo I expect to have my nose run a bit and expect the meal to be tasty very spicy. Even after I sent it back for more vindaloo sause and still it was not close to being hot. Also the meat was dry and overcooked while the potatoes were still a bit undercooked. My wife said her chicken was chewy and simply didn't taste as good as it should. We again needed to flag down a server to ask for our check. In the 70 minutes we were there a server never came to our table unless we stopped someone to ask. After asking for the extra sause the manager asked what I thought and I told him I was disappointed. He said nothing and left. Another 15 minutes to get the bill and 10 minutes to pay. Not going here again.

I/we like this place. Food is very good with a number of tasty vegan/vegetarian options. They serve the usual lineup of Indian dishes plus a number of unique surprises. Waitstaff was very attentive, though also a bit discombobulated, but it's still rather new and they were definitely trying. Only negative is the space. It was once a chinese restaurant, and not a very good one at that, and before that it was probably some sort of fast foodish/casual chain restaurant, because it has that flow/feel to it. Not terribly comfortable but clean and well lit. I think we'll order out more than dine in because of that, but the food and folks working there are all great and have earned many return visits! Very happy to see more diverse food options in South County.

Amazing dinner tonight! The service was exceptional and the staff was very attentive! We ordered the flame vegetable sampler, coconut naan bread, Tandoori Shrimp Sizzler, and ChickenTikka Masala. Everything was so fresh and the flavors were incredible!! We visited from Massachusetts and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you!!

Ordered the navrattan korma, chicken vindaloo (spicy) and the fried cauliflower in the sweet ginger sauce with a garlic naan and coconut naan. Everything was fantastic. It was my 11yr old daughter's first introduction to Indian cuisine and she loved it. The naan wasn't really warm after the 10 minute drive home, but I can't fault the restaurant for that, that's a tall order and they tried their best with the packaging. Excited to try eating at the restaurant next time we are visiting.

Very bad service. Once you are done lookin at the menu nobody will come to take your order for 15 minutes. If you are eating in, they take 30 minutes to just bring the appetizer. Expect to wait 30 minutes or more if you order food here. I will never make the mistake of coming here again !!!!!!!!

Spotted the "Bombay Flame ..." sign on a drive-by. Curious and hungry, I went in and ordered dinner: signature Flame Martini and their signature shrimp dish with basmati and naan. Outstanding! I'll definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu.

When you go to a restaurant, you always look for great food, good ambiance and friendly staff. I had all this experienced personally at "Bombay Flame". The staff was taking good care of our family, they even gave free ice cream for kids. :-) We also cater for our church events, they deliver it on time and with excellent quality and quantity. Highly recommend "Bombay Flame" and wishing them all success with this new business.

My sister and I recently enjoyed a buffet of exceptional Indian food at Bombay Flame. We were impressed by the high quality of the ingredient as well as the delicious taste, aroma, and pleasing appearance of the dishes. The lunch buffet presented a thoroughly enjoyable variety of Indian foods from traditional staples of Indian restaurants, Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan to the delights of Southern Indian cooking. We especially liked the fish biriyani, the eggplant and spinach, plus the variety of vegetable dishes. I also enjoyed the spicy chutneys and sauces that were available. We overheard other patrons praising the food, and justly so. I have also enjoyed Bombay Flame’s excellent seafood dinner dish, Bagari Jhinga. The shrimp was tasty and fresh, and the sauce was delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is nicely appointed and comfortable. If you enjoy Indian food, you should visit Bombay Flame.

New place (less than a year old), nice clean dining area, food and menu was "americanized", however you could order using Indian dish names and ask for more spicy if you want, service was standard, meal includes indian rice pudding (kheer) as desert

For a new place both visits have left me pleasantly surprised. The buffet is a great selection for lunch, and the service is friendly as well. Came for dinner, the tamarind margarita was just what I was craving and a couple delicious appetizers hit the spot. The advice I will give is this place needs more ambiance! It's tough without windows as it is, but it was stagnatly quiet to the point I was afraid to talk, never mind crunch on a chip. There was a faint hint of music but barely audible. The TV was on but muted, and the blue lights in the bar looked really cool but almost made it impossible to see. I'd suggest a couple more plants and mirrors, maybe a running little water fountain that also makes noise and turn up the music just a wee bit.

Food is very good...I have been there twice for the lunch buffet....I would really like to see this place make it, so I hope they read this! My first visit, the food was good but service was bad, never asked if I wanted a cocktail, keot firforgett to fill my water glass, most of all they never maintained the buffet and fill what they were low on...the second visit was 11/6/18, I took my daughter for lunch. Again the food was good but twice I had to tell them they neefne to fill two items on the buffet, then they had two different salad's out and we're empty...when I told the server, he brought me out a small dish of salad but the whole time there, they never filled the two salad bowls...then they had no more large dushdi and while we were eating never added more dishes, so we had to use small dishes and they saw this, but still did not bring out any large dishes...if they want to stay in business, they have to stay on there game or people won't return...I will give them one more chance and I'm done, so owners, or staff, please read this and pay ateattent...stay on your game, maintaine the buffet, don't cheap out on things and be more attentive to your customers...

I have eaten in all of the Indian restaurants in Rhode island and the food at the Bombay flame is as good as any of them. The dishes were well-made and delicious.I would have no reservations about recommending somebody try the restaurant as I believe they will enjoy the food as much as I do. I intend to go back soon for another sampling of their food. I hope you do too.

Fantastic. Went for the lunch buffet and was impressed with both the variety of food and also the quality. There were many items on the menu that aren't served often - Okra, cabbage, and a Chettinad vegetable all stood out as unique and delicious. The paneer in the palak paneer was soft and tasted homemade. Also excellent service.

It was ok .. but being the only Indian restaurant around this area, it was unique. no spice and Indian food , doesn’t go together .. the kebabs can’t be sweet :( Even the lemon/basmati rice was dry :( I always like ala carte because it is freshly made and hot .. sometimes buffet has a lot of items, but doesn’t taste fresh ... next time I wish we can try some alacarte dishes .. it was a ok experience

Food is wonderful! Ginger-like martini was delicious with stupid of ginger in it. Amazing Bagari shrimp appetizer... When they say must try, they mean it. Samosas great flavoring. Tamarind eggplant was excellent, loved what they did with the eggplant (more chick peas than eggplant). Coconut Saffron naan was chock full, mild and delicious. Meen moilee was very good, even the rice flavors, but we were already getting full from appetizers! Presentation was lovely. Wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend it.

Among the best regional Indian restaurants I have ever visited, with a tight menu consisting of specialties from among several different culinary traditions. The service is warm and authentic, the young staff knows the food very well and can make recommendations if you are unfamiliar with the different dishes. Although they do offer spectacular versions of some of the spiciest Indian dishes like Vindaloo and Phaal, most of the menu is really quite mild, flavorful rather than spicy. The Shrimp Calabar with fat jumbo shrimp roasted in a coconut and ginger sauce was outstanding, as was the impossibly tender and mild roast rack of lamb. If you are vegetarian or vegan, there are entire large sections of the menu available, this would be a great choice. As other reviewers have said, I was also impressed with the thoughtful wine list and fun craft cocktails - my tamarind margarita was just so tasty! Highly recommended.
