For starters, in a sea of fine Italian restaurants in Rhode Island, this one manages to stand out above the more notables. I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best I've had. Homemade pasta and a sauce perfectly balanced, I got through the dish without so much as wanting a drink. Complely satisfying. The homemade chicken soup is wonderful. Even their balsamic dressing is a standout. What a change on the restaurant scene in Nightsville.

Waitress was too familiar inappropriately, Wine was warm, bread was day-old, ordered a seafood dish with lobster but when it came to the table the waitress said the were pieces of lobster too small to see. She came back to the table a second time to explain they ran out of lobster, substituted calamari instead. But they lied and were caught. Embarrassing situation. Waitress never offered desert. I had to request the check after 25 minutes wait. Unprofessional.

Just had dinner at this wonderful little restaurant. The veal was perfect and the ravioli my husband had reminded of his grandmother's. We will definitely be visiting again!

Great food. Awesome staff. Was able to meet the chef and discuss the food. All pasta made fresh and cooked to order. All meats and vegetables bought daily. Nothing is ever frozen. Portions are huge. Just about every table I saw leave had a to go bag. Highly Recommend!

My boyfriend and I have been going to this restaurant for a year now. He took me on our first date here! We have always loved this restaurant. We celebrated our one year and my birthday here this past weekend and the service was exceptional, food was delicious as always. Request Pat the waitress if you can; she is the sweetest woman ever. Their new cape cod mule drink is refreshing and a fun twist on a Moscow mule. The entire staff wished me a happy birthday and they even provided me with a slice of chocolate cake! To die for! The chicken and broccoli rigatoni is my all time favorite dish. It is worth a trip to this lovely spot in Cranston!

Having just moved from Boston, it's well known that Rino's in East Boston is one of the absolute best Italian restaurants in the city. Well, now that the former Chef of Rino's has opened his own place, it's as if Rino's has moved to Rhode Island. This place is very unique, and is going to permanently change the RI food scene. Benvenuto has the same flavor as Rino's, without the 1-2 hour wait that the East Boston restaurant often has. Try this place out, and you'll be glad you did!
