Excellent, prompt and cheerful service. Food selection is interesting but covers a lot of bases. Hamburger was excellent. Roasted vegetables were perfectly done. Excellent selection of whiskey and beer. House old fashioned was very good. Music was awesome and fit the vibe of the room as the pace picked up through the evening.

We stumbled across this place while walking around the city after visiting Christmas Village. It was the best part of our night! They had a live jazz band playing at 6pm which was awesome! We were there during happy hour and split 3 appetizers; which were all absolutely delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Our bill with drinks included was under $50 (during happy hour). Definitely a new favorite place to visit!

Loved everything about this place. I was in town for 5 days and went back 4 of the days. Good selection of beer and whiskey and food was good. The feel of the place was nice and laid back and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back of I'm in Philadelphia again .

Been going for 4 years on special occasions. Always get 5 course tasting menu. Last experience was not so great. Our 12th wedding anniversary and the food not so great. The staff awesome. Courses not so great. One of the courses was pretty much ramen noodles with a raw egg with some foam. Highly disappointed. Me and my husband has made about 12 reservations and this one was the worst. Need to think about changing chefs.

Nice vibe and environment. The Whiskey Room was a nice retreat but the cocktails were just ok, nothing stellar. This was my first time here and I was disappointed. I thought the cocktails would be more polished and well made but it was just average. The crowd was ok. Service was incredible...everyone was friendly and helpful.

Is it the best bar, probable not, is it good? Yes! We were kinda late for the place, could not spend a lot for time. The staff is great, I just wish, the inbred racism did not exist in people. Great cocktail. As a server, it is your job to entertain any kind of paying customer, what ever the race or skin color may be.

The whiskey list is expansive. I was disappointed that it was not purely dedicated to being a jazz bar. It moonlights as a party bar on the weekends. Generic radio music blasted through the venue and produced an atmosphere entirely inconducive to sipping scotch or high quality bourbon. Talking was impossible. On nights that it is indeed a jazz bar, I would adore this bar

This is a bar and restaurant combination. We were there on a Monday evening and were lucky enough to hear the love jazz music. We were just there for drinks, but we sat on the restaurant side to enjoy the music. The cocktails were great. They are craft cocktails with a lot of character...you can tell by the names! We didn't eat there, but the food smelled delicious and looked great. Great atmosphere as well.

I visited as part of Philly Jazz Fest. Ive been here before but it was nice to hear great jazz in the middle of the day. It was packed to standing room only. A lot of people stood outside which works well when the windows are open because they are tall and you can see and hear everything. Good service.

Food was good. Atmosphere was GREAT! It was a little pricey. We got an appetizer, 3 drinks, and two entrees and our bill came out to over $100. They have live music and the band that played the night we went was awesome. They also have a club upstairs where you can dance but we didn't get to experience it because there was a private party up there. Overall, the experience was great and I will definitely go back

A great place to hear jazz by local artists in a cool bar with great cocktails. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They make very good craft cocktails. I highly recommend this place if you like to hear different artists perform and relax with friends over good drinks and food.

This is one of the classic jazz oriented hangs in Center City. There is also a whiskey bar on the side if you are looking for a more laid back and intimate situation. Thursday, Friday and Saturday they open of the other floors upstairs for dj party.

Incredible dining experience with live jazz. If you are feeling adventurous order the chefs tasting menu. It was incredible and very fun not knowing what the next course will be. Highly recommend it and every course is not on the standard menu.

Awesome place for a date with live life Jazz ambiance. Be sure to reserve the tables in music side in advance if you can. We had great service dining at the bar however, as well! Happy hour (5-7p some weekdays) chicken sandwich was very tasty and reasonable.

Time is on my side, so sang Mick Jagger back in the 60's and so it is at this tastefully appointed venue. The stuff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You will not regret a visit to this cosy spot in Philadelphia because you will feel comfortable in the enchanting atmosphere of the ideally placed pub. Live jazz music sets the tone for a cool evening, while you enjoy a light meal and reasonably priced beverages.

Great beginning, bad ending. Took a friend there to celebrate reaching a milestone with his new business. We sat at the bar on the jazz side, and our bartender was fantastic. Friendly, accommodating and made great drinks. We ordered several drinks and I had the shrimp and grits, which was surprisingly very good. We got there around 8:30 and decided to stay until the band started playing around 10pm. Anyway, my friend was finishing up his last drink and I had to step outside to make a call. About 3 minutes later, I returned, and the bouncer carded me! I had a bewildered look, since I had just walked past them a few minutes ago, but I took out my ID. I guess one of the bouncers didn't like my expression, so he asked me, "Are you okay?" not out of concern, but more like "do you have a problem!?" I said no, and walked in. Then the lady at the door told me the cover was $5! I said, "ummmm.... I was already inside. I just stepped out to use the phone." I walked right past her on the way out, so I didn't understand why this was even a conversation. What irritated me the most was her attitude about it. She said, "okay fine, whatever" as if I was trying to sneak in without paying $5! What's bizarre about that is, why would anyone sneak in to a place that charges $12+ for a drink? And it was only $5... why would you think I needed to sneak in to not pay $5? It was insulting, and it completely soured what was otherwise an enjoyable night. I have my suspicions about why I received this treatment compared to other customers, but the bottom line is, after spending almost $100 here, I don't expect to be treated with disrespect. After this experience, I won't be going back and I can't recommend it to anyone else.

Time is just fun. The music is always great, the staff are friendly and funny people, the food is delicious, the drinks are well made-Time is just fun. Time is pretty expensive so I always recommend going to eat first, but there is no way you won't have fun here. The fact that it's separated into 3 parts let's you choose your scene for the night, and I always love that. Expensive, but absolutely worth the money if you have it.

This is the best bar in Philadelphia. You should definitely go here. If you get bored of dancing upstairs at their super awesome dance floor, you can just hang out in their whiskey bar! They havare candles and really good drinks. Honestly I planned on going to seven bars that night and only went to Time. Amazing.

My husband and I stopped at Time Friday night 3/15/19, had a good time. We ate, had a few drinks enjoyed the band. On Saturday night my husband went alone and was asked for his ID. He questioned the request only because he’s an elderly man. He was given a hard time and even after he provided it was refused entry into Time. He asked to speak to the Manager and was told by the guy who refused entry he was the Manager. What a way to treat your customers that came only to get a drink and listen to your band.

This restaurant has it all! Live music every night in their bar/restaurant and a more quiet corner in their Whiskey Bar if you prefer. The chef Hassan is absolutely amazing. The restaurant ran out of many items after a busy day and he overheard that we came in specifically for two dishes. He walked over from his booth (he was clearly already off for the day) and said, “I’ll go back and make you guys something special. Don’t worry about a thing.” Not only did he cook our meals on his off time, he made us special meals that were as close to the ones we came for. On top of all that, he brought us a complementary salad which was so amazing that we were in shock. The service was also absolutely fantastic. They checked on us every couple minutes and asked us several times how our meal was. Without a doubt, our FAVORITE place to eat in all of Phili.

This place seemed like it could be really cool--I've even heard good things! But the music the night we went was so loud, we couldn't hear each other speaking. It completely ruined the experience. We had a table reservation, but they put us right near the band, so we couldn't easily escape the noise. The food was very good and the drinks were good. Service and staff were also good, and there were different bars, though we only tried one because of the reservation. I can't recommend it because the night we went was overly loud and really crowded.

The chicken in the chicken sandwich was half cooked. Don't bother going in if you don't have your passport on you as an international person. I've been using my international driver license since my state I'd expired recently at other bars in philly, chicago, Houston with no problems. I'm not going to risk carrying my passport to bars.
