Very good beer selection, both as a bottle shop and especially as a bar. Draft list was nice as well. Food (sandwiches) were pretty good. Nothing to write home about, but solid bar food. Overall, definitely a good place to stop in for a beer and maybe some food.

Second-to-none beer selection (including a growler-fill station) with on-premise consumption as an option. A good selection of Italian meats, cheeses, and sandwiches are available too. Please be aware that Google indicates them at $ but I feel they should be at $$ (as this is not a bargain establishment).

Solid beer selection. Unfortunately marked up prices. Used to have an awesome brunch deal for $6 but that is no mas. The rittenhouse argument doesn't justify their prices as there are several bottle shops within a 3 block radius that have MUCH better prices. Tons of potential, lacking on customer experience. Staff used to rock - now consists of young mad-at-the-world punkers.Also, music is terrible 9 times out of 10. End rant.

I always have great service here. A quick easy place to come for a beer after work or just when passing through Center City on errands. I love the self-pick beer fridge (way easier to decide on a beer when you can actually see them and check out nutrition facts and whatnot). They also have pretty decent happy hour (M-F from 4p-7p) with good food, drinks and drafts. Chill music as well.

This place was conveniently located across the street from our hotel so we checked it out the first night we were in town, but the food was so good and the beer selection so impressive that we kept going back despite many other options in the area. There's an interesting eclectic beer-themed atmosphere, the staff was always friendly, and the kitchen service quick even during the busy times. I fell in love with their piada flatbread and have been trying to replicate it at home. It's the perfect light snack for in between meals. Look for the special beer of the week for the best price on six packs to go.

The foodery (center City) is one of my favorite spots for a pint. They have a constantly revolving beer selection at a decent price. Drafts are $2 off for happy hour and apps are half price (food is exceptional, tho mostly meat and cheese//don't expect GF or vegan). Sit at the bar, grab a booth or a table, or just come in to pickup a mix 6, you won't regret it.

Great experience here. It's a very nice, clean and relaxed, casual atmosphere. They don't complicate matters as you go in, you order at the counter, pay, go find a seat and they bring it to you. They also have a wall of coolers where a big selection of bottled and canned brews are displayed for you to choose from. The food was perfect, delicious, and not too pricey. My compliments to the chef! I'll probably be back next weekend.

Walking into a wall full of beer is already amazing, but there is more to this place than just beer. The food is absolutely delicious. I am so happy I stumbled across this place. If you go, try the short rib cheese steak! In general the place is a bit pricey, but it is always 100% worth it. Has a down home bar feeling, with food that tastes amazing. The location makes it perfect for a boozy lunch break if you work in center city. One of my favorite spots in center city!

Beer selection is obviously amazing; from the top of my head it's at least six coolers on one side of craft bottles and cans served cold, another wall of larger bottles and whatever is on draft. Prices in opinion are quite reasonable too. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable if you aren't sure of what you want. Decent size too if going with a group. A few outdoor seats but it's overlooking another restaurant (I weirdly dislike most dining in the city as I don't want cars driving by constantly).

Fun spot with a great happy hour! 1/2 price appetizers and 2 dollars off drafts. 5-7 at least weeknights, not sure about weekends. There is actually a ton of seating so even though it was really crowded on a Friday night we still found a table pretty easily. All of the staff were very friendly and service was fast. Food was pretty standard pub type fare, pretty good but nothing stand out. However, bottled beer selection is amazing. There must be hundreds and hundreds of botlles! It's a great place to try out new and weird beers! Will definitely be back.

My first time stop at the Foodery. Good beer selection, and that is the draw for beer officianados. Typical menu with a few surprises; I had the short rib cheesesteak and fries. A tad expensive. I’m not much of a beer person so the Foodery is not as interesting to me and the food and price was not stellar enough for me to return.

Best place in Philly for finding an extensive beer selection with a relaxed sit-down atmosphere. When I say extensive beer selection, I mean they have almost every beer you can think of. Beer prices range from $2 for domestic regulars, to $5ish for microbrews.

Can't speak for the beer, but the food here was atrocious. I got the turkey sandwich, which was especially gross, and I'm not one to have an issue with food. The turkey slices were terribly chewy with an occasional crunch, I felt like I was chewing on pure fat and cartilage. The arugula was wilted, the bread was soggy, and the pickle on the side was genuinely one of the worst pickles I've ever eaten. Will not be coming back here.
