Absolutely wonderful. Old world experience, very friendly staff, the main cook (from Europe) frequently comes out to greet patrons. Atmosphere is simple and without frills. Overall, this is one of my favorite places in the region!!!

I liked it. Needed reservations, but once there, they had good hunky food. Polka band was entertaining. My family was really happy with their meal. Everything was well seasoned and well cooked.

My one friend and I live in Johnstown and we have Hungarian ancestry in us, so we decided to give this place a try. It was excellent. The food tasted like we were at home. The food is fantastic, and the service is spot on. We spoke Hungarian to our waitress (she corrected us quite a bit haha) and she told us about the history and her roots. Her grandmother who owns the restaurant is very friendly as well, as she comes and greats the guests. I also love her accent. It felt as if we were in a little piece of Hungary. Köszönöm! I definitely plan on coming back!

A great place to experience Transylvania and Hungarian cuisine. Great choice on the menu and great prices to match. Older restaurant but yet nice atmosphere of an old inn. Great service but they only except cash. Would recommend to friends and family to visit.

We were there for the Saturday Hungarian buffet. (Keep in mind that on Saturdays there is no regular menu.) To be honest, I was concerned about eating things I couldn't pronounce or spell, but it was all very good. Even better were the desserts. The staff is quite attentive and checked in with us often. It reminded me of eating a Christmas dinner at Grandma's house.

It is a family owned restaurant with a friendly environment and live music. They serve classic Hungarian-Transylvanian dishes and desserts. It is good for families, couples who are open to try old fashioned Central European food. Prices are very reasonable.

I'm Hungarian and my dad and grandparents are from Hungary. It was like being at my grandmothers eating dinner. Food is fantastic and service is just awesome. At the time they had live music. I had my girlfriend there on a date. She was amazed how great everything was. I recommend everyone to try this place. It's fantastic and i plan on going there at least once a month from now on.

Make reservations, at least a day in advance, for Saturday evening buffet. You will be able to sample many of her dishes, all of which are amazingly wonderful and Eastern European. Come hungry.

We went on a buffet night and the food was average at best-stuff that I could easily prepare myself and in a more authentic way. The pierogis looked and tasted exactly like Mrs. T's frozen pierogis and not homemade at all which was very disappointing. The chicken paprikas was the best thing on the buffet. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the accordion. Perhaps I will try it out again on a regular night when I can pick from the menu.

What a wonderful meal. Food was rich and hearty. The dessert..oh my is all I can say. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the entertainment was upbeat and fun to listen too. Soooo worth the drive ...even though not far...you wouldn't know it was there. Kudos!!

Itt nem igazi Magyar kosztot tálalnak.A kiszolgálók elég rendesen végzik a munkájukat, de az ennivalóért túl sokat kérnek! 20 dollárt kérnek egy adagért levessel meg süteménnyel együtt.Ennyi pénzért az ember jobban jár ha otthon a saját konyhájában megfőzi ugyan ezeket mert akkor legalább valódi anyagok kerülnek bele! Sajnos nem éri meg a fáradtságot ide ki jönni. The food here is waaay too expensive for the quality it is. The food is lacking the culture it should be reflecting. The servers are decent but it is not worth coming here.You are better off staying at home and cooking the food yourself or just going somewhere else. Don’t waste your money or time driving all the way out here, if you do you will regret it.

Better bring cash. It is the only form of payment accepted. Meal well prepared. Service attentive. Dessert delicious. Chocolate cake looked heavy, but it was light and just sweet enough. Reminded me of Europe desserts. Will go back again.
