Sketch burger is so fun! You get to sit down surrounded by art made by others who visited. The menu is small but everything is always delicious! Definitely a cool little place to check out if your in the fishtown area and hungry for a burger!

Always a delicious idea! Dan is amazing and remembered my nephew started football, even a month between our visits. He made recommendations, service was quick and orders were accurate! A take out burger place that seems to have a dining area just for some extra money. To go orders are prioritized so us poor saps dining in had to wait until any and all to go orders were done before we got our food. This meant a roughly 60 minute wait for 2 burgers. None of this was communicated to us during our wait, and we received no offers of beverages or anything. If you hate yourself and enjoy wasting time, this is the place to be.

Really cool place. Was listed as one of the 50 best burger places in the US. Since it was close, we hopped in the car and took a quick trip downtown. Burgers were delish....one with truffle butter and mushrooms, one cyclops, and one plain bacon cheeseburger. Two milkshakes and a soda. Yum to all.

Very nice staff! Burger and Frys are fantastic! It was clean but tables just a little sticky. Other than that it's great for families and kids. They do take out too. Love the customer made art work on the walls.

Very reasonable prices. I got the sweet potato fries and the Philadelphia and Fries burger with all the free extras like lettuce and tomato. Very good. Pretty small place though. So be prepared for a short wait!

Despite the hole in the wall appearance, this place offers great old-school burgers, fries and appetizers for reasonable prices in a nice no-nonsense atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. If you love burgers, it is an absolute must-try!

Let me start by saying that I love burgers and have tried almost every burger in the area such as Sketch, PYT, dog and bull, red robin, Kraftwork and more. Dog and bull is still my favorite but this place is solid. Great burgers and fries without all the crazy BS fancy burgers at PYT that come with a high cost. I would absolutely come back here for a delicious treat. The cyclops burger was fantastic! Great for kids but not big groups as I think the place can only fit about 20 total.

This place has the quality and uniqueness you love about local restaurants. Opens at 1130a serving delicious made to order gourmet burgers and fries. The service is great without being intrusive. An excellent spot for families as well. It's cash only (ATM located inside). I usually get the juicy turkey burger with aioli sauce (fixins) and sweet potato fries (comes in a large cone sized portion which would fill you up by itself). As the name implies guests are invited to create images with markers or crayons located at each table. There are hundreds of pieces of hand drawn magnificence that adorn every square inch of the walls. I love this spot, and it's become my go to since having to work in Philly for over a year. I'm from Maryland so this is MY jawn!!!

Im only giving it 2 stars because the menu looks like it would be good if only the hours posted online were accurate. My family and i traveled far based on the reputation. Yet when we arrived there was a handwritten sign on the door saying closed Tuesdays. We left hungry and disappointed. Thankfully the area has many other restaurants and we were finally able to eat. Please update your hours or adhere to them.

Unique place. Burgers were large, cooked to order, and flavorful. Add unique sauce, toppings, and cheese if choice. The walls are decorated with colorpencil and crayon drawings of all types. Add one yourself if you feel like drawing. Average city price for food. Comfortable place.

Good burgers but despite their door saying that they open 7 days a week, they open when they want. They’re supposedly closed on Tuesdays. I went on Monday and there we close, no sign. Not the first time either. Not worth it.

Took over an hour to get two normal burgers and an order of loaded fries. Burgers came out without cheese and had to be taken back to get cheese put on. Burger temps were also wrong, they came out well despite being ordered medium. We were so hungry at this point and it had taken so long we just wanted to eat something and get the hell out. For a $30 meal this was awful.

Ordered the Sirlon beef burger medium well, and came more than well done, tasted dry and no flavor. I am not sure, maybe they do not use fresh meat and instead frozen beef patties which have to be cooked all the way. Regardless, our waitress did not said anything when she took the order and we mentioned medium. We also had the hand cut Belgian fries, and they were greasy and lacked flavor. We also had the Dr. Pepper pulled pork sandwich, and it was served cold, I usually prefer it at least warm.

Wish I could give it more but every time I go they are severely under staffed, you will always wait, and forget calling an order in to save time... their food is great so i guess i understand but hire more people =/ i would love to enjoy going there but if you do make sure you block out a ridiculous amount of time to wait before eating.

We went in at 1pm on a Saturday. There were only a couple people in, so this was a perfect time to go. We ordered the fries and onions rings. Those came out first. Some of the best fries I've ever had. The onion rings were great too. The burgers were delicious. We ordered the Kobe beef burger and the Nashville hot burger special. Really solid burger. My only two gripes. The table was kind of gross, I wiped it down myself, but it was still sticky. The burgers ce out medium well, but I asked for medium. This place is fantastic. If you like burgers and fries, come here.

Want a burger? This is THE only place to get one! Everything on their menu is DELICIOUS! Cash only. Small outside dining area. Service leaves just a little to be desired, but anytime I've been here there has always been just one on the grill and one serving and cashiering. Hire help would be my on my advice to them.

I’ve worked on the line for a bunch of restaurants so I’m sort of a tough customer. I showed up with about 30 minutes left before they close and ordered a burger with cheese fries. The guy that took my order was pretty chill and my food was ready right when he said it would be. My burger was temped perfectly and the whole meal was very good. Prices are just right as well, thanks for a great meal!

Everything about this place is really cool! The staff is friendly and patient, which is great with a place as poppin as this! The atmosphere is very artsy in a comfortable, non intimidating way, and I can't tell you anything about the food other than it's the best burger place in the city and their veggie burger is KILLER!! By far the best burger I have ever had. I find myself going there instead of grabbing a Philly Cheesesteak when I’m there. Koby beef burger is my favorite. Also the hand cut sweet potato fries are delicious. It was recommended by the in-laws realtor and they do not disappoint. The shakes are equally good. The place is small so keep that in mind when going during busier hours.

Great burgers and fries. Had the Kobe Burger with the spicy mustard and fries. Thick cut fries and thick burger patty with the perfect amount of char. Also ordered Mac and cheese as a kid's dish. Huge portion for the $6 price and much better quality than I expected from a burger place.

Good burgers and shakes. Burgers are huge so I actually wish they were a bit smaller but no complaints otherwise. You get to draw using crayons and markers while you wait for your order. Make sure to leave time for a nap after you're done eating. Please note the place is cash only but they do have an ATM on site.

Make sure you bring cash and your appetite! They have an ever changing board of specials as well as a regular menu. Everything is priced fairly. I highly recommend if you're in the mood for a burger head here for one of the best in the city! Plus you get the fun of sketching or just looking at different sketches while you wait.

Hurray! I now have a new favorite burger joint in the city! I ordered the burger and loved it. It was cooked perfectly and the burger was very juicy. I personally like this more than the millionaire bacon at sweet maple. This is exactly the kind of local establishment you want to support. I will be back!

I work near by and eat here often .Small menu so you know the burgers are done right with different daily specials that are always delicious. I'd recommend this place any day of the week for a good burger in the fish town area .. edited don't try and call ahead the phone rings and Ring's bybthe time they pick up I've been on hold twice today and I go to the shop look inside and not even busy employee with pony tail just standing by register and phone when i did get to order the guy rushed me told me my total and hung up on me 4star review today

Went back in 2015 the first time and I was impressed with the burger quality. Was suggested that I went on the weekends because of the cook. Was recommended from a co worker that Sketch Burger was a must. As someone who recently moved here, I needed to go and see all the fuss. Right in OB on a nice fall day. There was a festival going on and the place was packed I must say. Ordered a classic bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. The wait was pretty long, but can be for places with popular things. Ate right by the beach which was only down the block, big portions, simple juicy taste, Sketch Burger definitely rocks!

A delicious, well made, old school burger without all of the "frew frew" add ons (of course you have that option too). The mini burger is big enough to fill you up, especially if you get a side of fries. I recommend sharing the basket where u can mix-and-match regular fries, sweet potato or onion rings, all of which were delicious. The service is friendly and attentive too. A few negatives are the location of the restaurant, which is around the TL, as well as the lack of seating, which was also uncomfortable. Aside from these, this restaurant is a hidden gem.
