On Mondays this is the place I come to. Reasonable prices, beer and good food make it a relaxing place to be. I go upstairs as it less hectic and laid back and the river view is great. Low or no music upstairs and you can actually have a conversation with someone without yelling. And I do believe the service is better up there.

Nice place. My experience the lunch special burger and salad. The salad was drowned in dressing, lots of Brown edges ln the romaine, the burger was full of spices, don't like chubata rolls, and the fries were full of Sugar and heavily Salted. We won't be back !

Food is meh. Wonderful location! Except if you’re sitting outside you only get to sit there for two hours. The waiter told us he could only let us sit there for so long until it had to go to other guests. That’s if the outside is even open. Drinks are good but not for the price. All in all, one star for the view. (If you get to enjoy it)

Been to this restaurant a handful of times. 2 times for buffet styled meals for special occasions--one being a rehearsal dinner and the other a funeral lunch. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good but not of you are a vegetarian. Not too many options for that. Seafood could be a bit fresher but for bar food it's good enough.

I recently hosted an event at Maggie's. Besides the fact that the servers wer hardly existent the entire event and couldnt even put proper cloths on the tables, the bartender committed fraud by adding more tip to multiple of my guest's bar bills. When my guests saw the additional charges on their bank accounts they called the restaurant and were given bogus excuses. My family member was told that they always charge 30 dollars and then adjust the amount after. No restaurant/bar I have ever been to has done this. Maggie's employees are committing fraud and the managers are letting them do it. Do NOT go here and certainly do NOT have your party here.

I love this place being that it's down the street from where I live. The staff is always friendly and I love to drink the Very Berry Tea (and I'm not a heavy drinker at all). I've never had a had experience here. Even when my food was too salty, they happily replaced it and didn't charge me for it at all. I always come here and usually bring a friend.

Went to Maggie's Waterfront in oakland for a sisters birthday dinner. Very small restaurant but were quickly seated even with a group of 7 of us. Started with the calamari it comes with a yummy salad that had a nice light dressing. Had the filet mignon. It came with a sweet potato puree and potato au gratin. Cooked medium and it was tender and juicy. Could have used a bit more seasoning. Was missing a punch of flavor. Creme brûlée was the perfect portion and very tasty. Very nice staff and would go back to try some seafood next time.

Arrived an hour early for our reservations but were promptly seated. The JD bbq chicken and shrimp with melted cheddar was tasty but the bbq sauce was too thin and too cloyingly sweet after 2 bites. The soupy sauce did not disguise the fact that the chicken was very dry and pounded much too thin. The bronze shrimp was spicy but very good. However, $12 for 7 medium shrimp is too expensive. Service was excellent.

Worst customer service! Check your bill!! They added an $18.25 tip to my $11.75 bill. At the bar, I ordered two drinks from the very rude bartender, which came to $11.75. I signed a receipt with a $3 tip, totaling $14.75. My account was charged $30. When I called to question this, the first manager had no idea why and said it must have been a mistake and she said she would call me back by 5:00 the next day. At 6:15 the next day I called again and was told they charge a flat $30 and it will be fixed “eventually”. When I questioned this I was told every restaurant does this, the manager was very rude telling me there’s nothing she could do and it should be fixed at some point. When I called the bank I was told it was pre authorized for $11.75 and $18.25 was added as a tip. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received, couldn’t keep their story straight.

Maggie's waterfront Cafe is a great place to go for a drink or a meal. It's got great reviews of the river. The menu is fantastic and every meal we had was quite tasty. There are is stew was probably the best that we had. the crab bisque is also a dish you shouldn't miss. There's plenty of parking outside but it does get crowded on weekends and evenings.

I really wanted to like this place more. It's a lovely location, great views. I was served a bourbon and not told what it cost. The bartender just took my money. The price was fair in the end, but not being a regular, I don't know what liquor costs there. I didn't get a receipt either. Boneless wings were tasty but should be called nuggets, which is what they were. Beer prices were reasonable.

I tried Maggie's for the 1st time Service is Ok Food is Great&priced VERY reasonably The food is served hot as it should be I LOVE that your table is cleared Immediately when your done with a dish I wish that my Waitress would have told me about the Daily Specials instead of me over hearing it from another waitress@the table across from Me When I asked the waitress why wasn't I informed about the Daily Specials I was told"The Hostess should have TOLD me"That's a 1st for me I thought the wait staff is Responsible for DOING so Other than that small hiccup I will visit again BTW please bring napkins to the table without being asked

Very upset with my recent visit at Maggie’s. My debit card was overcharged by my server. When I signed the credit card slip it had the right amount printed on it. I left my tip in cash so the server must have purposely added the wrong tip on my card after I left. When I called about this problem I was told “he accidentally double charged you”. A server can not do this by accident and the amount I was overcharged by wasn’t even double. It wasn’t a large amount of money but my biggest problem is they didn’t even put it back on the card. I was told I had to come to them to pick it up in person. This was a big inconvenience because I do not live close to the restaurant.

This place is big and a bit loud. But the location is lovely. You're right along the water. I went on a Saturday night with a group of 3 with no reservation. This place was packed! But, we still got seated right away. We wanted seafood. We ordered mussels in red sauce for appetizer, one dungeoness crab plate, one crab and shrimp pot, and one seafood pot. Our server messed up our sauce orders in the pots, but the seafood was delicious! Also, they had to the make one of our dishes and the replacement came out very fast! They have a six page beer list, but if you're looking for Stouts, Porters, or dark beers in general, you will be disappointed. The only true dark is Guinness. They also have a Tripel. All in all, we enjoyed this place and will be back again!

Open a d outdoor seating overlooking the Delaware river. Friday afternoon seated only when full party was together. Really large bar and dining rooms. Had my daughter and 2 granddaughters plus 2 other children. Accomodated us child menues and many lunch lunch specials $8.88 to choose from. Came with soup or salad menu item. I had cu an which was perfectly seasonal. French fries and a soft drink. Well worth an afternoon at river with lunch for 4 adults 3 kids little over $60 with tip. Plenty of free parking available. Not appropriate for kids after 4 becomes an adult place to enjoy

So food was decent and our server was great , but unfortunately I will not be coming back. We ordered extra food to take home and had to wait extra which was fine of course not an issue at all; but the minute we got the food to go a lady who I assumed was the floor manager or head hostess came over to our table and basically kicked us out because she needed the table for a large party ... her words and I quote "I know you guys are hanging out but I need this table for a large party coming in" didnt offer us a different table if we had wanted to stay and drink a little more as we had younger people with us so sitting at the bar was a no go . I have never been asked to just leave a place because sitting at a table was apprently inconvenient.

This is a favorite place of mine. They have the best calamari (which I'm allergic to, but I suffer through it because it's that good. Reckless, I know) they change their beer list frequently, they run good specials, they offer a discount for first responders on mondays (police, fire, emts, military). Maggie's has a private room as well, if you need to throw a shower or banquet. They just did a huge renovation, which is great since it used to be very small, and now Maggie's is a monster! The best part, it's right on the Delaware river!

Very good. We both had the Maryland crab chowder and I had the onion soup burger, which comes with onion soup au jus and seasoned fries and my husband had the mini pizza with fries. I don't quite get the fries with pizza, I think a small side salad would go better. I had a gin and tonic and my husband had 3 beers and with the military discount it was only $23.00. Well worth it.

Service was a bit slow, food wasn't too flavorful with the C.B.L.T, and the different take on calamari was interesting to say the least. More like calamari in a lemon soup/broth instead of traditional serving of calamari. Girlfriends alcoholic drink (Very Berry) she said tasted like water. Cold shrimp were delish and a good portion size.
