The food is always hot and delicious. What mats a 5 star rating is that too often certain hot foods are gone and not replaced right away. On this trip they were making steak burgers...too few at a time. I went up twice but the test was always empty. On my third try I snagged one; my son went up a few minutes later and all he got was another empty tray. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I eat there about once a month, and will continue to do so.

It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of the one in Lancaster, Pa. I prefer the one in Lebanon, Pa. Service was good very friendly. It's the food. It was decent. I got the mac and cheese and it was cold bout time I got to my table. The fried chicken and Brussels sprouts with bacon butter sauce was really good. And of course the chocolate fountain was okay! Had a funny taste to it. One more thing, their banana pudding was good. I was stuffed after eating 2 full plates and a plate of dessert. For over 15 dollars I think the food could have been a lil but better and had some love made into the food. I think love makes the food tastes better.

A very good Golden Corral. One of the busiest locations I've been to, and for good reason. The food is constantly being refilled so everything is fresh. The utensils were clean and the service was good.

Surprisingly very good. Honestly not your average Golden Corral buffet. Food was good, service was good. Even had a pretty good price of steak that was unexpectedly very good. I would recommend it and if in the area I will stop back in for dinner.

I've been there a few times in the past to make a good review. It's a big place and can get very crowded during the daytime hours. Other people, customers, can be very messy at their tables. So expect food on the floor. Good food. There have been a few visits where waitresses have been so busy they can't get around to refill your drinks. That point can ruin your visit. I'd love to refill my own drink. Four stars out of five for an overall rating. I would still recommend coming here for the price and experience of good selection of food. Tasty

Was much better when it first arrived. Food has gone downhill at the one in lancaster. Steaks are a much cheaper cut and things will sit in pans longer then before. Service is poor when they are busy. Better then nothing but with Texas Roadhouse next door just order an extra side over there and you'll be full

Had a great time and a great meal. Sometimes at a buffet style restaurant food can be sloppy or bland. Food had a great flavor and a good quality. There was a real smoke ring on the pulled pork, you cannot fake that. Our waitress was busy with people, but still made a point to stop in and check on us. Huge selection of food, I was full, before I ran out choices.

Food was good, tables could have been cleaner. I witnessed multiple employees verbally assist a customer that was choking while the heimlich maneuver was being performed by the customer's nurse. It was heartwarming to witness the calm direction from the staff. The customer was okay following the incident.

Love this place, best overall buffet i ever ate at, the price on Sunday morning before 11is a great deal steak and ribs better than most of the big name steak houses, and all you can eat. Shrimp bigger and better than the lobster. Great salad bar, great deserts, just wish they would have Pepsi products but hey can't have every thing. Good staff, if you get a dirty plate hey get another one, its a buffet people not phillips, wish York had one

Entrance was extremely dirty and we were there fairly early. Windows on doors were very dirty. Fingerprints everywhere so I know they weren't cleaned in a while. The worst thing was most of the plates were extremely dirty with food still on them. A waitress actually saw us trying to find a clean plate and she came over in complete shock, gathered them all up and rushed them back to the dishwasher. Unexcuseable!!! Waitress was horrible as well. Very disappointed with this visit.

Food bland, some of the lettuce was rotting, asked for medium well meat and was medium, and server didn't even look, pineapple had no taste, wasn't ripe. Shrimp so tiny not sure that it wasn't just breading. If you want a lot of bland food this place is for you, if you want taste, then go somewhere else.

Golden Corral is always a favorite no matter where its located. This location was great and our serve Monisah did an outstanding job. I love those steak-burgers, Sweet Potatoes, Broccoli w/melted cheese and mixed vegetables, plus the fried chicken. The atmosphere was jam pack so--many Bus trips. But, once inside the flow was great. The food here is very good. A nice selection of dishes and sides. The food is fresh, they change out the old food frequently and put out fresh stuff. I'm not too sure about the service because I only ever ask for the same waitress, Valerie, because she's very personable and kind. She's also always on top of taking our dirty dishes away and refilling our drinks. I can't vouch for anyone else.

Place is nice and clean. Very poor customer service experience. On the good items I don't know the deal but they trained this people to ignore you or to knowledge that bc you there they have a job. They pretend that they are working and acted like they don't know that you are there. That is your job, you choose to work there don't take it out on me just bc you are getting a sorry paycheck. I choose the restaurant for a good reputation and good food. Management needs more training and transparency when they choose who's going to work there. Staff needs a lot of training and customer service classes. GOLDEN CORRAL.....GREAT JOB.

All the employees there were on top of there job's. the steak that they made me was so perfect I couldn't ask for it any better. the establishment was very clean. the food was freshly made. everyone there was professional at there jobs. now the only problem I have is with the restroom. it was filthy toilet paper all over the floor and . I gave 5 stars because the food cleanliness around dinning and serving areas.

Our family normally loves the Golden Corral but we received terrible service here. We waited on line to entire for 25 minute before a manager came out and informed us she was holding half the restaurant for buses that were running late. We had two small, very hungry children with us. She had no idea when the buses were arriving and when I complained she told me she was getting more business from the bus. It certainly did not leave a good impression. We were greatly dissatiafied and ended up taking our business elsewhere.

Parents watch your children. The staff had to throw out items due to children using their fingers to get strawberries and putting them in the chocolate fountain. They had to tear the fountain apart and clean and sanitize it due to this. As a result many customers were left out of this treat. A male manager did scold an associate for allowing the children to do it, which should not have been done in front of guests.

It's the original American buffet that has everything like make your own salad that are fresh, there is meat like ribs, chicken, and steak including pizza and appetizers of onion rings or french fries, and for dessert ice cream, brownies, pies, and cake. Golden corral is the best restaurant that can come on in to create your own lunch, dinner, and dessert. It's going to be mouth watering delicious.

If you go on your birthday just bring a friend then your meal is on the house just as soon as that friend pays for his one meal ticket. Really, I love restaurants that do this type of kind gesture for their patrons birthday! Birthdays are remembered..I went on my birthday with my father this year and it was our first time at Golden corral. We both were expecting good food but not 4 out of 5 good. 3.5 I figured they'd be, but upon close observations we seen a bounty of meat looking like fine cuts. The salad bar was higher than a four I score. Big selection of fresh vegetables for the part rabbit out there like myself.

It is a welcome change , at that location from its predicesor Old Country Buffet . The food is good and plentiful if you get it when it comes straight out of the kitchen . The variety of foods changes by locale . Depending on how much you eat and the size of your party . My one complaint is that the servers are slow to clear clear tables off ; even when they aren't so crowded . No weekend breakfast at this location .

We're here in Landcaster Pennsylvania . We drove up from Maryland this morning. It's cleaner than one in Largo Maryland. The bathrooms are smaller but the food is the same.. delicious. Oh they don't offer trays in Landcaster. Great experience!

I like eating there. It is affordable and has a lot of varieties. I like steak there very much. There is a big salad bar, soup, chicken, French fries, fish, vegetables, taco, etc. The dessert there is wonderful some is sugar free. A nice chocolate fountain, cotton candy, ice cream, etc. It is good for kids and adults.

I’m not big on eating lots of food but I enjoyed the many healthier options for dining during family vacation this week. The salad options were great and fresh! The vegetables were really well done and I enjoyed trying some new veggies made their way. My kids were glad with the many options and of course, healthy choice to the side, I did have a piece of pumpkin cake. How would I miss that opportunity? My husband enjoyed the very well done steak and my kids were all healthy picking in a place they could have been gluttonous and ate like crazy. Thanks for remembering all different food menus.

Food is usually pretty good, some aren't always fresh or changed out often. Staff with the exception of a few seem like they don't want to be there. Servers at the grill tend not to know the difference of well or rare. All in all its not bad place to go once in awhile. Like when you sign up for the free birthday dinner.

It was good except the man on the grill was rude. This is a pattern with him. I asked for medium well, he said we only got well done, I did ask for a new one cooked and he was like fine and then when he tossed it to me, it slid off my plate into the greens. Like seriously dude? Other then that one guy it's a good place to eat.

We went for lunch around 2:00 and the food was all old. The plates were also very dirty! This was my first time being there and I thought I was mistakenly grabbing plates from the dirty dish pile, but they were the "clean plates". I never write negative reviews and I'm not picky, but I've never been afraid to eat at a restaurant.

This was our first visit here and although the atmosphere is quite simple and crowded, the staff and waitress were excellent. The manager checked on us to see that we were doing well. Everything I tried tonight was excellent, our server (Ray) was fantastic and very patient with our large party! The only downside was having to wait twelve minutes to change a diaper for an employee to vacate the family bathroom which is the only one with a changing table.

So whenever an occasion warrants it we drive over to Lancaster, PA to enjoy a wonderful meal at this location. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday evening and waited in line for about 30 minutes (to be expected at this time of day). A large majority of the wait-staff was very friendly and personable. Our waitress Infinity was very kind and helpful. The food selection and preparation was superb. Even the music choices were very uplifting. Of course, it was crowded getting to the food, but the inconvenience was worth it.
