This place is legit!! If you’re new to Thai food the menu can be a little overwhelming as these aren’t your typical American dishes so be sure to consult with your server (who has always been helpful in my experience). Green curry with beef is delicious. Well done!!

sumiko M

The food was delicious and the server was friendly and patient. It is a very nice neighborhood place with affordable take out. Five of us ate in, BYOB, for a little over $100.

Went there for a few different meals. Didn’t really get the pics because we were really enjoying ourselves. Small and cute walk up restaurant tucked away in the city. Best Thai tea I’ve ever had. I highly recommend to anyone especially the waitress/server who was very sweet and kind and remembered us. Even took photos for us.

Jason M

Nothing special. I ordered chicken pad Thai and there was more tofu in it than chicken. I thought $13+ for dish was fairly pricey considering portions weren’t anything to write home about. Very bland, as well.

Andre V

Nice place, excellent food, good prices

Kelly Derrick

This place is great for a quick lunch. The lunch special is reasonable, and includes an entree with appetizer, soup, or salad for about $10, and the service is quick and courteous! The food is some of my favorite Thai in the area, I love their Drunken Noodle. Highly recommend!

Shreyas Skandan

Best red curry in the city!

radhey agarwal

Good food and friendly staff. They have lot of vegan options on the menu.

Dov Goldman

Fast service, good food, good prices. Yummmmmy

I visited this restaurant about a month ago and while I think the lunch specials are priced only slightly higher than comparable places, the service unfortunately could have been better. I ordered the shrimp curry and it wasn't bad. I did have to wait for 5 minutes though, for another bowl of rice. The restaurant was really crowded and there was only one server that day.

Natalie O'Connor

Good food, I had a meal with a friend and it was about $30 for the both of us. The plates are pretty filling so be careful to not order too much as the mains are a good size. I only have a picture of the Thai ice tea but it's very adorable and yummy. I'd have to say if you're looking for really good Tofu they do it really good here (My mom is vegan so she likes their tofu dishes.)

Gabriela Luque

Good service. Average food

This place was recommended by a Thai friend of mine. We decided to go for lunch and weren't disappointed. The staff was super friendly and prompt in their service. When my friend ordered her meal in Thai they made it a point to take good care of us. We both had the lunch special which included a salad, appetizer and entree. The crispy duckling in red curry was amazing and the portions were perfect. Plus, it was cheap. We paid $24 including tip. This spot is close to my office so now I have a new Thai place to hit up whenever I'm jonesing for rice noodles, pad thai or an excellent curry.

This restaurant doesn't have napkins. The dishes (Basil Supreme with tofu and Pad Thai with chicken) were not tasty and too small for their cost. Do not recommend this place if you are new to Thai Cuisine. This would ruin it for you. We won't come back.

Barry Coopersmith

Great location for me a block from the Walnut Street Bridge. Love going here for lunch. Chicken satay, Panang curry.

david agonburg

This is a good, casual Thai restaurant with a convenient location. I would definitely eat here again.

Alexandria Will-Cole

Great food and location!

cem sicles

This place is as Thai as it gets. Delicious traditional food, nice people, and good prices for big portions. Gotta love that it's owned and operated by native people and not just another rich white folk owned pretentious and fancy restaurant. What the hell else you need to know?

Steven Loures

I'd say this is some of the best Thai cuisine in Philadelphia. The food is the star here with the fresh ingredients with authentic taste, but the service and quaint decor is also what makes this place great. The servers are very excited to see you come in and are ready to serve you. Heads up, the food can be spicy ask about what you are ordering. Also, get the Thai tea it's really just amazing.

Went there for dinner on a Friday. The place was very busy, and we were given the last available table. Good atmosphere with music far in the background. But the food was very slow. We ordered a salad, a soup and a dinner item; and we were hungry so we asked that food be brought out as it was made ready. But after about 30 minutes they brought out everything ll at once. The seafood soup was very light on seafood; the seafood dinner plate was also light on seafood; but the salad was the worst, it was equivalent to a stored McDonald's' salad with canned mushrooms added. We have no plans on going back

Edwin Garbutt

Everything was a delight. I had Tom Yum soup, Pineapple Yellow Curry and finished with Green Tea ice cream. All were full of rich Thai flavors and spiced to perfection. BYOB if you take your meal with alcohol.

Pattie Boatman

Great staff, delicious food, and you must try the coconut ice cream imported from Thailand!

Patricia Perry

Excellent Thai Food. I love the drunken noodles. The crispy Thai chicken wings are a great app. This is a good restaurant and the service is always fast and consistent.

Torrie Buchanan

We ordered via postmates. Food was fine, not great. Not a ton of flavor and it was super oily.

Donna

I do not usually write negative reviews, however, my experience last evening has prompted me to do so. This was our first visit to this location, as we have moved to the neighborhood, and were looking forward to trying the restaurant. We were promptly greeted and seated and we found the wait staff very pleasant, efficient, and hard working. The management and kitchen, however, were another matter. While our order was taken promptly, we were not served our meal for nearly an HOUR! As we looked around the restaurant, which had a number of tables filled, no one was being served. We did see one couple get up and leave and others began to complain. What appeared to be happening (as I could see in the kitchen) was that there was a large takeout order being prepared. Making so many customers wait for that long without explanation was totally inexcusable! We should have been told when we were seated or when we ordered that the meal would take awhile. We could have made the decision to stay or leave at that time--as one does when there is a wait for a table. Considering the way we were treated on our first visit we will not be returning to this establishment.

Great food for a decent price

Ben Masino

Had a group of 20, and the food quality was still very good. Nothing fancy, but a nice neighborhood spot. The Drunken Noodle was excellent. The food did come out at varying times, to the point where some people in the group were almost finished by the time others started, but hard to criticize given the size of the group and that it was the night of the Eagles parade

Kurt Pittman

Went for lunch and it was mediocre. The food was passable but there are better options around. Food was lacking some of the exciting flavors I'm accustomed to with Thai

Bree Pate

This place was horrible. The service was bad. Took very long to receive our entrees. The appetizers were very small and expensive. We specifically requests spicy food. When we receive was very bland. Our waitress pretty much disappeared. Will not be going again.

Andrew Joss

Charged $4.00 because we requested two fried eggs for a dish that should have them. Crab Rangoon filling was tiny, only time we had service is when we went to kitchen to find them. Portions were small, and overpriced. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. Overall experience was bland.

gabriel goia

Amazing food at reasonable prices. Absolutely loved the food.

MoK

The best fried rice I’ve ever had.

Julia Bodson

Waited an hour for a takeout order. Saw multiple deliveries go out during that time. Saw several tables sit down, order, and be served while we were waiting. Not a particularly busy night either. On top of that, no one even apologized.

Dalton Holder

Thai food and the setting at this location is great. Filled me up. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. Prices are reasonable I would say.

Jane Doe

I will say I loved my food...My meal was $34 and to be honest it wasn’t worth the money to me! the side of veggies consists of two carrots two broccolis with a great portion of jasmine rice and salmon, my calamari had like 12 in the dish sliced very thin

Edward Eilers

Pineapple fried rice was about 3.75 stars of 5

Adam Solomon

Excellent Thai food. Very solid service. Very good Thai food with excellent service in this small walk up restaurant. A couple steps up off the street, this small store has a relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent -- though you might want to ask for more spice (this worked out well for my kids whose palettes don't tend as spicy as mine). No alcohol served, but you can bring your own. The service here was outstanding. Clearly, they work as a team each backing the other up. Each of the servers on the floor refilled our water glasses and checked up on our table. Not wheelchair accessible due to the steps up to the entrance.

Lauren Elizabeth

We ventured in for lunch on a rainy day... what a delight. Extremely warm and friendly service + delicious food. Highly recommend!

Marlene Glazer

Not consistent. same dishes completely good or bad week to week. more expensive then other local restaurants.

Jen Schindler

Yummy Thai Restaurant that we found. Amazing midweek specials. 4 of ate for $75 with a 3 course meal each. We'll go back.

Vidhi Shah

Definitely the best Thai in the area. And amazing service. Lots of options and more than willing to customize anything to your liking.

Sylvester Bowens jr

Hot and spicy

sandy zhao

By far the best Thai restaurant that I ever went to. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I love their massaman curry and their lunch special was very affordable. I have a salad, soup, and massaman curry. Everything was only about $10. I just love it so much that I left a big tip.

Emily Kahn

Great food and awesome lunch specials. Service can be a little slow during weekday lunchtime. Good veg options.

Matthew MacNaughton

Favorite Thai food I've ever had.

Josett Simpson

Enjoyed my meal. Very delicious!

Charles Cadwallader

Best Thai food in the city.

James Palka

Good value at lunch.

Kevin Kintner

Great location and excellent food. Little small dining space but they maximized the space they have. We went for my wife's birthday and they were great!

Necoh Mitchell

Ordered ahead. Was told 20 minutes. After waiting an additional half hour and being told that my food was still not cooked yet, I left. Not trying them again..

Lyndsey Kintner

Excellent place for a cozy date. Great food. Service was good. Staff was friendly.

adam mglynn

Love Thai food. Please visit this place. Nice menu, small and interesting.

Neel Shah

The first time I ate here the food was OK. Ordered delivery the next time and it was awful. Super bland.

Kara Mshinda

The food is simply superb! Wonderful place for a romantic dinner or for a small group. The service is exemplary. They offer lunch and dinner hours. Check their hours before you go. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

Mar Mar S

It was okay, I felt that though the flavors were good in the entrees but it wasn't great..their apps were just ehhh...a few blocks away is smile cafe and JJ thai which I believe is a better experience.

Shafi A. Sattar

The place is well kept and the servers are professional. But the food wasn’t great.

Shelby Davis Jr

Very good customer service and food! Did not have a reservation and was initially told no table was available. However, hostess said next reservation was an hour later so we could have that table. Food was excellent! Chicken pineapple fried had lots of chicken and great taste. Pad See Ew, had a good sauce and good flavor. The eggrolls were great. Would return!

John B

My daughter and I have come here several times and have always enjoyed our visit the food is consistently good the service is average but the atmosphere is also Pleasant and enjoyable will be back

Phoebe Parker

The food was delicious and affordable. Everyone working was very attentive and friendly. There is also a great selection of vegetarian dishes. I would definitely go here again.

George Matthews

Stellar service, very good food, and this coming from someone who doesn't particularly like Thai food. Be advised, they are BYOB.

roscoe P coltrane

The BEST drunken noodles I've ever had. Get it with all the seafood, its better that way. Service was very courteous. Wife says curry is top notch. All 4 of us loved our dish! Well done!

DT B

The place is nice and the waiter she was really nice. But the food is not as good as it should had been. For the price you pay and the food do not go together at all.

Corinne Germanotta

The food is wonderful here. I've been here many times and my only issue was one time when I had a waitress who didn't seem to speak much English and so we had some trouble understanding each other. No big deal as I empathized with her. The atmosphere isn't too loud and the environment is comfortable and welcoming.

Pravallika Gudapati

Worst service. We waited for 1 and half hour for our take out order. The waitress was not even concerned. Don't go here if you want your food served in reasonable amount of time Poor service

Jessica Liu

They have a fantastic lunch deal with an app+entree for around $10. Solid thai food.

Parijat Dutta

You must try the duck fried rice here.. this place is absolutely fantastic

Julia Timpson

Went during happy hour and got 3 buns for $10. Also got corn cheese for $6. Wouldn't get the corn cheese again but I really liked Erawan Thai Cuisine. Got the kalbi, belly, and temp veg buns. Like kalbi and temp veg a lot but didn't really like the belly (it was kinda fatty for me.)

Brittany Wright

The few times I have been here, the customer service has always been superb. The waitress is always kind and accommodating to us. Their food is always flavorful and spicy. Overall, I love their red curry chicken dish! It reminds me of California Thai food: always yummy.

Roy McClymont

Decent BYOB Thai, but not quite the 5 star rating as our fav place, Sawtadee!

cameron diaz

food is 7/10 but atmosphere and incredibly sweet service makes me come back every time. great lunch and dinner specials. enjoy :D

Brian Payne

Excellent Thai food for cheap prices. Their lunch special is amazing. Would absolutely recommend and hope I get to come back soon.

Michael Lorge

Food was delicious and the menu is extensive. Service was timely and attentive. Steady flow of take-out/delivery orders showed the popularity of this place even on a Sunday night. Slight drawback is the tight seating arrangement but that's somewhat expected...

William Karavites

Everytime I order takeout or have to reserve a hotel room, I always ask them to "Please draw a picture of a dinosaur". It shows that they actually read the special instructions and to hopefully give them a laugh. Erawan gave me this beautiful artwork the other night! Plus the food was awesome too :) Try the papaya salad and their dumplings.

Jonathan Cheng

The servers were out of this world so nice. Good food plus good service means this place is a solid 4.5 stars. Penang curry with chicken for $12.95. Came in with a group of 10 and curry came out in less than 10 minutes. Insane! Definitely worth. Would recommend for a quick bite!

Tom Herlihy

Food was decent but a little pricey for a place like this.

Jim Scott

Erawan is a tried and true place. I've been going here for a long time and it has always been consistent. It's a little dated inside but the food is good.

Rahul Ramesh

Place used to be great. The management staff and the quality of food have since gone down. Such a shame. Won't be coming back.

Adam Brand

Pick up food here regularly. Hostess is always super friendly, food is consistently good. A great Thai food option!
