I saw a roach and mouse today in this restaurant I could not Believe it I was about To pay for my food when I stared to look at the cakes that were by the cashier as I’m trying to get a closer look at the cakes a roach starts to crawl out of a seafood dish they had in the same refrigerator I start to Tell the cashier there’s a roach coming out the seafood she takes a few steps to look find it and a mouse ran from under the soda fridge smh at that point i yelled Out i just Seen a roach and a mouse in less than 5 minutes and walked out

Octopus salad without lettuce and y does it have celery and in big chunks. I always eat here and order from them while I'm at work. No happy at all. Oh and no eating utensils. Like what I'm suppose to eat with my hands.

I went to the restaurant around 2am so it was empty. Friendly ppl and good taste chicken soup with rice (sopa de pollo con arroz). Cheap and good. I'll update it if I go there again and see different.

Prices are awesome...food was good, I personally got rice and pork this time and it's was perfect usually go for some dirty rice and beef...staff was cool...got some strange looks from the patrons but to be expected when you're a family of odd white people in a mostly Spanish neighborhood. Definitely one of my favorite Spanish spots in the Queen City.

God forbid you can't understand them or Tony understand you.. They make it uncomfortable by rushing you and then I had a bad experience because one of the ladies who was new had a bad attitude and was sarcastic and yelling at me saying next next next while I'm trying to place my order.

I am a white guy who eats at top notch restaurants around North America, and I love this place. Skip the rest of Hamilton Street and venture into this less than welcoming place to have the best food in Allentown. Sometimes I don't know what the food is, but it is always amazing. I stay away from the Tripe and Blood things, but my goodness, the rice and beans, the beef and cheese empenadas, the chicken, the ribs, the various pork parts, it is unreal. Take a chance and give it a try. It really is fantastic. Note: this isn't fine dining, but it is fine eating. If ambiance is your goal, this as of 2016 is not the place, otherwise get your butt in here and expand your taste spectrum!

Super authentic. I was scared at first, but the employees were super friendly and helped me out. Food was out of this world! Everything is done by the pound, so load up. The fried pork (chicaroni) is awesome and plantanes are a good side option.

The food here is absolutely delicious hands down the best especially for stew chicken stew pork and chicharon!!! The rice is always delicious creamy and fresh and the service is fast. I love the stew chicken and have been getting it for years and recently went back to the stew pork and it blew me away.

I came here looking for some authentic empanadas but ended up with disappointment. The empanadas were dry and seemed to be sitting for a while on the trays. They were just lukewarm and when I bit into them it was mostly air. I got on the side some pincho meat/stew. That was actually quite delicious!! I would not go back however. I drove 45 minutes specifically to this place hoping for some delicious stuffed empanadas. Sorry for the bad quality in the empanada. I took it descretely not wanting to be rude.

Love this place. We stopped in on the way to the PPL center. As we don’t live super close. We have stopped in twice. They have all latin dishes and its always good. Open from 7am till 11pm/7days a week. Prices are great. Get food for 4 people for $30 and have left overs. It brings in a lot of people so it gets really hectic in there. Has a small area of the parking lot connected to it otherwise its too busy of an area to stop in. Needs to be run a little better but if it keeps the prices low then i guess we have to deal with the extra.

This is a hit or miss. Either their food is delicious or its not. I am a frequent customer and always hope I call on the 'its a hit' day. They do often run out of items and sometimes make errors in the orders. But most of the employees are very nice.

Wow!! What hidden gem!!! This family owned operated restaurant is at first a bit intimidating but once you walk through the door the friendly and knowledgeable staff will make you feel at home and comfortable. There glass display case shows off all there homemade offerings in mouth watering view. From there breakfast, which I have almost weekly, is anything but your normal idea of oatmeal to the braised pork shoulder, various daily specials and rice dishes all ready to eat there or take home. I have not had an item that wasn't fresh, flavorful and delicious. If you want authentic Dominican food at the ready which is very reasonably priced and portions you can't finish alone this is the spot. Try it out and I'm sure you will be back for more
