Great gem in Lancaster! Alex, his family, and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. Not a large tap list, but it revolves and has solid choices for miscrobrews. Food is top notch, specializing in Greek Faire butntheir fish is usually really good too. They have an outdoor patio next to the Conestoga great for a warm evening of food and cocktails.

Delicious food and awesome service. They have some classic American food but then they give it a delicious twist! They are a middle price point, so if you're not wanting to spend $50 on a meal for two, this isn't the right place. But, you're missing out because the food is to die for.

I had there chili bread bowl before and was delicious. But last night, I had the Chili bread bowl and wife had there new loaded potato bread bowl. Last night, it was horrible. The bread was hard and tasted old. Both of ours. The waitress seen that we didn't eat the crust. My rule of thumb is if the establishment knows about there problem and make good on it, I either write a good review or none at all. If they don't, then I will. I gave 2 stars because of all the other times they did good.

You know what? I stopped in this place on a Monday night after stopping at another local bar that said it would be open at least an hour later than it closed (don’t know what time it actually closed). Anyway, I had a burger. It was great. I don’t think I had a better burger since when it was summer and the grill all fired up in the back yard and you and your friends tossing around a football and then Jerry throws it a little too fast at your face ... but all the burgers were cooked so you can’t use a frozen burger patty to reduce the swelling, but the burger is still great because it’s grilled and perfect .... Anyway, the burgers at this place aren’t the frozen burger patties I use at home but I mean, please come to my BBQ next year. This place’s burgers are great and fresh. Oh I sat at the bar and the bar service is great.

The food was terrible, I tried to sit through it and eat the the burger I ordered because I’m not the one to complain...but spending 3x the money on something that doesn’t taste better then fastfood made me upset. I tried to walk away from situation...the owner was unprofessional when I told him I was unsatisfied with my service he disrespected me and my gf on the phone talking to him...I will never come to this establishment again

The outdoor patio during the summer months is outstanding with a beautiful view of the Conestoga River. The menu is vast with delicious entrees. Every time I eat here I always indulge in their homemade broiled crab cakes. You can never go wrong with an ice cold beer at the bar as well. Service is excellent and friendly. Highly recommend!

We went on a Wednesday night and it wasn't even busy, we were one of the first people there at like 6, didn't get our food until after 7:30 when everyone elses food came out at the same time. There was a single waiter and bartender handling the entire patio, and our waiter told us there was only a single cook. The owner (i assume) was sort of wandering around. They mixed up our appetizer and said that the cook couldnt read the handwriting on the ticket... the brisket sandwich i got had almost no cheese or onion strings, the meat was salty and tough, my partner's dish tasted like it was all canned seafood. the only redeeming part was that they make good fries. seriously disappointing because its so pretty from the outside and the menu selection seems great, but overall im really frustrated that they couldn't just staff the place better.

I specifically went for the Monday half off appetizers deal. They probably have 10 appetizers and the attractive and polite waitress said they were out of 4 of them. So I got the wings. They were very good and large wings so I was happy. The bill came and the wings were full priced so I asked if they should be half off. She told me that the wings don't count for the deal because they have a Sunday wing deal. I was a little mad because if they weren't a special then they should probably tell you that. Either way the place is clean and looks nice and the service was fine. I just have some issues with the whole appetizer thing. I would go back though.

Friendly staff. Daughter order a cheeseburger with chips and the chips were freshly made and tasty. Husband agreed that his burger and fries were delicious and suggested we come back more often. I ordered a gyro which was messy and yummy! The Greek salad had too much "fancy" greens for my taste but the rest of the experience overrode that. Enjoyed a beautiful evening on the desk by tiki light.

Haven't eaten there for awhile. Went there for drinks after work on Friday because I saw they were offering $5 craft beer specials. Beer selection is decent. The problem is not all craft beers are on special, and the sign outside didn't specify which ones were. When I asked the bartender about the special, he seemed to randomly point to two beers that no one was drinking as if he was making it up on the fly.

We came here because of a local flavor coupon, and had an average experience. While the bar seemed fairly crowded, the restaurant side where we sat was practically empty. The service, while friendly, was very slow, and we waited about 30 minutes to get our meal. My husband enjoyed the burger he ordered, but my brisket sandwich was tough and chewy, almost to the point of being inedible. We will likely not be back again.

We stopped in for dinner Saturday evening, the place was a bit empty. We had a two very good meals. My wife had the special Greek scallop dinner. The scallops were very good but the sauce was a bit thin. With the linguine it tended to splatter a bit. I had the lobster and crab Mac and cheese. This was very good , I could not finish it was so filling . I just finished today for lunch and it was still very good. We had the rice pudding for dessert, ok but had better. The waitress was very pleasant and quick with bringing the food as well as getting rid of empty dishes. I will be back in the summer to try the outside seating.

Average vittles. Descriptions in menu do not accurately describe the dish that arrives at the table. The shepherds pie is listed as filet of Italian beef slow roasted /demi mushroom sauce. Although tasting fine, it was really ground chuck in a tomato and onion based sauce- no other veggies in the mix for $20! The meatloaf stacker was rather bland and again this protein was accompanied with a starch but no veggies. Our dessert had a nice smooth texture for a mousse, but nothing special and not very cold. Although our waitress was clueless about beer types and good service practices- the floor host was gracious to step over and help with our dining needs. Over priced food for what the customer receives.

Have it a couple chances, as I really wanted it to be good, but Everytime I ended up disappointed with the food. Everything I tried seemed overcooked, over-seasoned, or over-processed. It's almost like they went good shopping in the frozen section of a grocery store, that hadn't been stocked in a decade.

The food was good, but not outstanding, and I thought a bit on the expensive side. I got the beef brisket. If you like tangy sauce you would like it. It was a bit too tangy for me. My wife liked her burger. We sat outside. The river and torches were nice but the road is close by too. Service was great. Got the Snickers dessert and it was good.

Was charged a dollar extra than advertised for wings & service was friendly just not crazy prompt. That was ok though as I highly recommend their patio on a nice temperature evening. Apps were great, smoked garlic parm wings while the wifey enjoyed the crab dip. An overall great & peaceful experience on a pleasant evening.

Stay away. .... I waited about 10 minutes before a waitress came to my table for a drink order. My husband's drink came not too long after that. We then waited 45 minutes for our food. My food was cold and my husband's food was cold and over cook. We left with out eating. I never did get my drink.

Ordered through delivery (GrubHub), but the issues had nothing to do with that. Food was still fresh upon delivery. We ordered the Uncle Crabby Bleu Burger, a Cesar salad and a Greek salad. Greek salad was great, no complaints there. The Cesar salad was advertised as using romaine hearts (as all Cesar salads should) but we received mixed greens as the salad base. The "croutons" were actually crostinis, or small slices of toasted bread. All workable issues. The main problem was that the salad was tossed with the dressing, it was not on the side. Our mistake, we should have asked, but it would honestly be expected for a takeout order. It should also be mentioned that the Greek salads dressing was on the side without asking. The burger was enjoyable, don't get it skewed, but the onions were not caramelized as advertised, just thick cut and grilled. The worst part was the avocado, clearly from a package and not fresh. When paying $16 for a burger, I expect at least fresh avocado. I hope it doesn't sound as though we're nitpicking, but it's hard not to when I work in the industry and just paid a decent amount of money for a nice meal. Everything tasted fine, which is the reason for three stars and not two. It was just several small issues that could not go unnoticed.

I used to love this place but yesterday i went there for dinner and that was really bad services . I got the table but after 20 min waiting nobody came ove to my table to get my order or offer me drinks. I saw others customers be taking care so quick and i was still waiting so I left the place . I stumbled upon this restaurant several years ago and it has become a destination for us. We drive from Baltimore and sometimes do a little miniature golf at the nearby Leisure Lanes which has natural turf . Great fun!

We had burgers tonight. I ordered mine medium rare, with instructions not to bring me out a well-done burger. My wife ordered hers medium. My wife's burger was overcooked and dry. If I looked very hard at mine, I could find a pink spot or two. So don't order burgers unless you like them well done

Drinks were wonderful! Definitely recommend the Key Lime Mojito! Nachos were amazing using fresh ingredients! Boss burger had a unique flavor pallet that kept my mouth satisfied with every bite. Server/ Bartender was awesome! Definitely going back soon! Only recommendation I have for them is that they fix up the bar area. Dining area is very nice though!

I used to go here all the time but now I live on the other side of the city. I still stop by on occasion but not like before, I also don’t go as often because Jason no longer is my bartender there. Drinks are average pricing and I believe the food is too. I usually went just for drinks and if I got food it was mainly munchie style appetizers so I can’t say much about the food. The cheesesteak egg rolls are amazing though! Sit at the bar, high top table, table section more setup for families or even outside next to the river on a nice day!

I have eaten here several times and been pleased each time,whether it was dinner for two or ten. It has good atmosphere in a historical setting and the outdoor deck, overlooking the Conestoga river, is one of the best in the country. The food was good quality and well prepared. The menu offers a good enough selection to satisfy most any taste. The service was friendly and professional. Each visit, I have found the dining area and bathroom to be clean.

Fantastic food and good service but the atmosphere severely lacked warmth and comfort. Menus were bent, rubbed off and looked old and it was a very casual dining experience. From the looks of their website, we were expecting more of a fine dining experience for our dinner. We froze the whole time, even after requesting a warmer table which was next to a heatless fireplace. Perhaps we will return (for a casual lunch), but definitely not for a special dinner. The excellent food helped make up for the basement atmosphere (literally) but since date nights are very rare with having children, our overall experience was disappointing.

First time going there. Place was easy to spot off the road. It was in a nice location. Small parking lot. They have a nice patio area, and inside is nice as well. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. They all seemed to be very busy, rushing around, even when there was not many customers. Our server disappeared for a while. We got appitizers and desert. Food was tasty. Prices were a little high for what we got. Nachos, good, but nothing to rave about. Desert, we got this chocolate moose dish. That was very good. Overall, okay experience.
