My fiancé and I visited Clove for dinner on a Saturday night. The service was incredible. We were given a complimentary cauliflower appetizer that was delicious. We both got the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was the best we've had in the Lehigh Valley. Everything was packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. When we asked to box up our leftovers, they were kind enough to offer extra basmati rice. This will definitely be a spot we visit regularly!

Best Indian food ever. They gave us the most homely service ever possible. The owner tended to us and he is ultra friendly and jovial. The chef is out of the world. They have a really good tandoor. We offered vegetarian food. So the paneer starter from tandoor turned out just prefect. Naan were just the right amount of crunchy and sodt at the same time. We uttered medium to hot spicy and they added a lot of chili flakes to make it as such. The only part that we didn't like. The hospitality and customer service was satisfying.

We go for the buffet on Saturday's. There is a good variety of dishes available to sample. The wait staff are very attentive. This location is very open a bright compared to the location in Phillipsburg.

I ordered takeout this evening from Clove and was very impressed. I ordered the Lamb Pasanda. The portion was incredibly generous, the meat was tender, the flavor of the sauce was great, and the spice level was perfect (I asked for mild/medium). The basmati rice was cooked nicely and had a few peas, as well. They put a free small container of rice pudding in my bag, which was a pleasant surprise! I'll definitely be returning, especially for the lunch buffet (as of today it is $12.95).

Service and smiles are absolutely great. Regrettably food is awful. I believe they just heat up frozen packed food and serve. That too not well cooked at all. If one has to eat preserved frozen food why visit a restaurant and spend a lot of dough?

First impression, place looks like it needs a thorough cleaning. Garlic naan was mushy and soft, but I did get it to go - maybe it was rapped in foil too soon. I haven't tried the curry chicken yet because the naan was so gross. Mushy w/ no flavor. I lost appetite. Looks like a family restaurant, the kind I like to support.

Best Indian buffet in the area by far. They aren't afraid of the spice, but there is always a dish or two that is mild for your less adventurous friends. Never exactly the same dishes, but I've never had *anything* that wasn't seriously tastified. A good balance of vegetarian and meat dishes. The goat curry is outstanding. I wish I could eat here everyday.

I expected more based on the other reviews. The smell of incense is pretty strong when you walk in, and the place isn't all that clean. This is a picture of the wall next to me; it was splattered with dried on food. Yuck! The food portions were pretty good size, but just so-so compared to other Indian food I've had. If you want good Indian food try Sangam in Ithaca near Cornell University.

Hair on tandoori roti that was served, aluminum foil pieces on Lassi drink. Swallowed a piece and found few more. When complained, the staff there didn't even apologize or felt bad for their unhygienic food service . Poor tasting food. We did not mind to waste them. Apart from this, the washroom did not even had hand wash. Need to report to food safety department.

Me and my wife recently moved to Allentown and we absolutely love Indian food. Upon driving we spotted the Clove Fine Indian Cuisine restaurant and decided to take a chance. Our experience there was wonderful and the icing on the cake was exceptional service. Me and my wife are food bloggers and would heavily suggest anyone that loves flavorful food with a relaxed atmosphere to give them a shot. They did every dish to my liking without any hassle. I want to say thank you to the manager Roge and his wife for treating me and my wife like family with your golden hospitality.

I have been here many times. So many times I was inspired to learn how to cook certain Indian dishes at home. After having done that, I can tell that the restaurant does take certain shortcuts to speed up food prep...likely the various curries are pretty made saucesbut this isn't really a complaint by any means. Also, I may even be wrong about this. Maybe they make the sauces fresh and use them to build different curries. Either way, the food is always delicious with very little inconsistency visit to visit. I generally get the same things..tandoori chicken, and curries that are tomato and cream based. Chicken makhani, lamb Rogan Josh, and other similar dishes. Naan here is great. It needs to be eaten fresh tho. If you get it takeout and want to eat it the next day, store it in a sandwich bag with most of the air removed. Put it under the broiler and baste it with butter to prep it and it will be very close to how it comes out fresh. Don't refrigerate it. Lastly the service is always exceptional. I have shown up here a little late close to their closing times and they nevera make me feel rushed. They have compede desserts and added extras to my meals by my request with no issue I once forgot my wallet and they simply allowed me to pay the next time I came in. I paid over the phone the next day tho. (usually adding paneer to different curries). I once forgot my wallet and they let me pay the next time I came in although I Took care of it the next day over the phone. This is my favorite Indian restaurant locally (tho there aren't many) and one of my favorite restaurants in the valley period. I look forward to being a long term customer although not frequently cuz hey this ain't the place to frequent if you're low or zerocarb! Again, not a complaint! Love this place!

Had an horrible experience here. The food was terrible and the staff were rude. The pappad was stale. The bhel puri we ordered was stale and soggy. Even after asking them to check into it, the waiter just took the plate inside and brought the same bhel in 5 minutes and said they’ve made it fresh again for us. The mango lassi was so sour that we couldn’t take a sip of it. We canceled the rest of the order due to the bhel issue and the rude waiter. The manager came towards the end and mentioned that they get the bhel mix from somewhere else and that’s how it always is. Never going back again though.

Love this place I cant say enough good things about it. The people who work there are also the owners they treat you like family. They help you pick things out and make it spicy according to your liking. I had the lunch buffet a few weeks ago. The food was fresh and tasty and there was a good variety to choose from. The food was, however, quite mildly spiced. I took note and when I returned a few weeks later with friends for dinner, I made it a point to ask for medium spice on my lamb sag. No surprises with medium. I will ask for medium plus next visit. Indian to me just begs for a little heat. We ordered 6 entrees in all, several appetizers, naan, rice and poppadoms . The food was tasty and fresh. The service was friendly. We'll be back.

We were there for a lunch buffet. The food was okay but the service was horrible. We waited to get the bread (garlic naan) for over 25 min the first time. We ordered garlic naan again for second time and it took more than 30 min to get it. We were sitting for long time waiting for naan, the lady who was serving us did not bother to hurry up or had no sense of urgency and did not feel sorry for bringing the naan so late. At any other place, it would not have taken more than 15 min. The worst customer service I have ever seen. It wasn’t busy and they still could not serve bread on time. May be they purposely make you wait for bread in the buffet lunch so you eat less and that way these owners save money. We had been there before but it wasn’t this bad. This time I had a horrible experience and I would never go there again.

I was so happy to be able to share Clove's lunch buffet with new friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this meal as much as the last. My family are all vegetarians, our guests were not. Most were familiar with Indian food, one child was not. She started with rice and naan, but found that she really liked the chicken. My daughter missed the spinach paneer, my wife was really happy that they had okra this time! So, if you don't find your favorite on one visit, please try again!

We ordered for kadai paneer and methi chicken and both the dishes were nice. We also ordered an assorted vegetarian platter for starter which I felt was little oily. The best thing about the place was the hospitality from uncle and aunty. One of my friend found the chicken to be half cooked and they were gracious enough to replace it without any question. Overall the food and ambience was good, would love to visit this place again.

We went here with some of my sons G5 class for lunch. Everything was delicious. Staff were great and refilled the kids water glasses like 12 times. We had the buffet and we were spread across several tables pushed together. We also were brought plenty of naan which the kids ate as though they had been fasting before hand and then they brought MORE naan! It was a snow day so I ended up bringing all 3 of my kids ajd the price was around $50. A little steep for me, but worth it.

A friend had told me about this restaurant but I never payed attention to it because when you are driving by it does not look like a place I would be interested in going to. Yesterday I had such a craving to eat Naan so I told my husband I was going in just for some bread. To my surprise, the place was so cozy and nice inside. The waiter was super welcoming and then they had a buffet. I did not even ask how much it was going to be. So we sat at our table and I got different vegetarian options from the buffet, including fresh naan bread. OH MY WORD!! I am such a picky eater but everything was sooo delicious.. I wish I'd taken pictures but I was soo into my food that I did not even think of that. I totally recommend this place. That veggie samosa was extremely delicious, by the way. I am coming back with my friends!!! oooh and the best part was when I got my check... $13.95 plus tax.. WHAT?? Soo affordable. Thank you, guys!

Excellent authentic Indian food in Lehigh Valley. There are only a hand full of Indian restaurants in the area and this is by far one of my favorites thus far. They have a nice lunch menu w/ all you can eat for under $12.00 and the for dinner at under $17.00. I love their vegetables Samosas and homemade dessert.

The Best Food I am from New York which clearly means that I am foodie and picky. I have gone to so many indian restaurants in city and have tasted their food but this restaurant has won my heart. So we were staying in pa for one night and wanted to eat indian food. I looked up on google and found this restaurant. The food is unbelievably tasty as we ordered Dal Makhni , butter chicken , kebabs and fish fried. The food wasn't only tasty and delicious it also has all the ingredients. It's run and owned by a family which makes it very good coz they are not just doing their job they actually doing everything with their heart. If you belong to north india and want to have delhi taste then this is the place to go. I wish them all the best.

Amazing food, great service, and good prices!

My husband and I visited the restaurant last night. The customer service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I do not know much about Indian food, but it was a great cultural experience. We plan on visiting again and definitely recommend the restaurant.
