Yummy gluten free options and a very friendly server. Also, their bathrooms are not segregated by gender, which I highly appreciate. Just a bathroom with plenty of private stalls. Very impressed and happy to find that.

Quick to get a table on a Saturday at 1. Within walking distance of the Franklin institute. Great hearty brunch menu. Kids were very happy with their kids menu except for the grill cheese being on a wheat hearty bread. Appetizers were delicious and I recommend the cheese that comes with the pretzel!

Extremely popular but worth packing in. Between beer selection and apps the experience was great. Didn't even get to main courses but still fantastic. Service from bartender was great. Get goat cheese and honey pizza with pistachios. Amazing. Also get towards bar away from door to see if extra room is available.

Rude! Tried to order off their online posted menu, I was told they did not have that item - it was an old menu, then hung up on me. Previously ate tacos there and they were horrible. I was assured it was a 1 time bad experience and I should try them again... Not getting a 3rd chance!

Me and several friends came here ahead of PAX Unplugged and had a fantastic time :) The service was speedy, knowledgeable, and friendly, and they even did separate checks with zero auto-gratuity for a large-ish group. Everybody enjoyed the variety and quality of drinks and the food menu has diverse and tasty choices -- the only thing that would make this spot better was if they had sweet potato fries, but we had a stupendous time and will 100% return in the future.

Had a great experience at City Tap this past weekend! Nina was very accommodating when I had reached out to her about making a reservation during the Eagles game. Our group had a great time watching the game from the many TVs. Colin, our server/bartender, was awesome and attentive. He made sure we always had food & drinks. Plus, the brunch food was delicious! The chicken & waffles were definitely at the top of my list for the foods I tried.

The food wasn't bad. The fried rice could use the seasoning. It was a bit bland. The short ribs would be better on the side. Took three attempts to get a beverage. Each time the waiter said they didn't have the drink I ordered. I'd change to another and then ask the waiter about the drink when he came back. Again, said they didn't have. Halfway into the meal I told him just to get me a glass of crown. He comes back 15 minutes later with a drink I didn't order. Lastly, the gelato was a runny version of ice cream. Definitely not a creamy gelato.

It's a good large spot with some easily cordoned off sections for post-meeting groups. Cocktails are pub-grade. Food (catered snacks) was pretty good. My group seemed to like it.

The staff is nice however I ordered a burger medium well. I received the burger barely considered rare. Since we were out for a work event I didn't have time to wait for another. Second time I was there bartender did not give proper change for drinks. I was charged retail price for a drink. Final time I was there I was given the wrong change in which they shorted me. Giving me $4 out of twenty for a soda. It's popular stop for happy hour but I haven't been able to get proper service or charges there.

Admittedly, I was visiting from out-of-town, so was going on my friend's recommendation, but I was somewhat underwhelmed. The staff was super-nice, but I thought things were a little overpriced & just okay (burger & fries, the latter kinda of dried out... dessert would have been good, but I scalded my mouth on the 1st bite, so...). Staff was also very attentive (never had to ask for more water, etc.) So, friendly place, but just okay food for the money, in my limited experience.

I like City Tap House. This place offers lots of seating and pretty good service. Also, it's not super loud like a lot of other restaurants in Philadelphia. I'm not giving City Tap House a perfect score because they do not have many vegan options on the menu, though they do offer a good amount of vegetarian options. With that being said, fellow vegans will love the grapefruit and avocado salad - just make sure you ask them to not add the cheese and switch out the dressing for balsamic vinegar. On another note, this is a great place for a work happy hour.

Found this awsome place by accident!! Let me tell u that it is a great place to have a beer and chill. Bar is huge, the environment is great!! Staff is very friendly and helpful.. we ordered the brick oven pizza and it was just amazing!! The beer selection is huge too.. so if u are a fan of pizza and beer you have to go there!!! Prices are OK and everything is great quality!!

Would definitely recommend the BBQ pulled pork nachos. The atmosphere is large during especially on a Sunday. They have a huge TV screen which is great for sporting events. Not too crowded. The staff and service was great. Very pricey though, average bar food price Is around $15 dollars a plate but they are slightly larger portions. Like anywhere in Philadelphia, parking is very hard to get. There is a parking garage around the corner with an evening special price for $12. Overall it was a decent place.

I visited this place with a group of colleagues. It has a nice atmosphere BUT the drinks were watery and overpriced. Not to mention the bar tenders weren't as pleasant. However, if you're a beer drinking, there is a nice beer garden. Beer is reasonable and the servers were much more pleasant.

Nice spot for lunch just off the Parkway. Extensive food & beverage selections. Prices are comparable with other restaurants in the area. Service was acceptable, not the friendliest but certainly nothing to complain about. It is usually very busy, so either avoid prime time or make a reservation.

Beyond expectations. I thought it would be just another noisy after-work pub/restaurant, so many of which already line the streets of downtown Philly. However, while the place is certainly noisy and expensive, the mustard salmon I had was top shelf! There was a zing to the taste - it was simply delicious. Can't say the same for the apple crisp, which is brought out in a piping hot cast iron dish. The gravely texture of the apples makes it seem a little undercooked for my taste (even though this is dessert).

First time here. Popped in for a quick lunch. We missed the lunch rush so we didn’t have to deal with any crowds. The place looked great with its high ceilings, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Korean Short Rib Tacos which looked small but were packed with meat! My companion had the Pepperoni Pizza. He loved the thin crisp crust. Overall, it was very enjoyable and we will be back!

The G.O.A.T pizza, I will visit a hundred times for this delicacy. Fortunately I booked the venue 1 week prior, when I visited the place during lunch, it was overflowing with people. We ordered the GOAT pizza and Altha pizza. Both of them were great, especially the GOAT, it was just wow. I ordered an ale, the summer love, it was also great. My friend ordered the veggie sandwich made of too much avocado and cheese. He was also loving it.

It was mediocre at best. The atmosphere is lively though. My wife and I had the baby back ribs which had almost no meat. The flavorful buttered corn on the cob was flavorless. Along with the broccoli. Then there was my daughter's mac and cheese served at room temperature.

The service here was great. They were very accommodating for the large group of us there for lunch on our second retreat day. They were very attentive to our needs and worked with us on charging our cards properly considering we were a higher education administration group. When it comes to the food, I can say their specials and regular fare are great. Everyone at the table's plates were cleaned by the end of our meals and we were all very happy with portion sizes and sharing several appetizers amongst 14 people. I will definitely be making a trip back here, maybe with a few friends, because there were so many other items on the menu that I wanted to try.

Went to City Tap to watch the Phillies Home Opener. 2:50pm Had to ask multiple times to turn on the sound for the game. Other fans were asking for the sound to be turned on as well. Instead there was music playing and funny animal videos on the main TV. 2:55pm: manager tells us that the table where we sat is reserved at 4pm. 1 hour away. They ask us to move because the table is reserved. 3:10pm: Served luke warm beer. 3:38pm: Told that the party with the 4pm reservation is starting to show up. 3:55pm We request to be seated at one of 8 empty tables that have a good few of the TV. These are all reserved too? Well the sign is imaginary. We are offered a table in the corner with a view of a small TV. No thanks. If you publisize an Opening Day event then dont make fans feel like an unconvience. It's that simple. You have a big TV, but customer service is lacking. See you again never.

And Jocelyn went out of her way just to make a to go order for my husband, with a pizza/toppings that wasn’t on the menu! I would recommend this place to everyone! Best service & Great people! Food is delicious!!!

I went on an Eagles playoff football game so the bar was more packed than normal but it was still a good staff that got drinks quicker than you would think on such a Philly staple event. I liked it and the crowd.

I went when it was not busy. I didn't want to sit at the bar just because I'm alone does not mean I want to smell alcohol for my meal. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Very dry had to ask for some BBQ sauce to add to it. Great fries though! If you like ketchup make sure to order extra when you order. You get a small half full metal tin with your meal. I ordered an ice tea and for $4 I did expect it to be refilled at some point. But nope. Had to ration the small glass of water with my meal. Not pleased but ive had worse so this place gets a solid 3 star from me.

The reviews brought us in, but the food wasn’t as great as it looked. The dry rub wings might have been good with regular ranch, but they only had blue cheese ranch. I had the arugula salad and it was AMAZING. The seating was very open and we were able to watch the game from anywhere. The part of the restaurant that stood out the most was their bathrooms. They are gender neutral with 1 room of sinks and 1 row of private rooms with toilets. I think that is very modern and I applaud them for that.

A large casual spot with plenty of TVs to watch sports on. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The shrimp was very good, though a little spicy. The white cheddar grits were fantastic, perfectly creamy and cheesy. The main downfall was that the collard greens were not good at all. Besides that, the prices are decent and service was good. Nothing crazy good, but a probably a nice, reliable spot.

Big city bar near city hall - the kind of place that when it's busy, it's really busy. Food & drinks are tasty but a little pricey, but you're paying for the location and the atmosphere, and for some people just to be seen. Enough of that - now, check out the restrooms. The whole unisex thing may throw you off for a minute, but after you've on board with what's going on, you'll love it. Probably. Or not.

Decent beer selection with reasonable drink prices. The place is quite large so it may be ideal for large groups. The food is not the best, nor is it consistent. I had a shepherd's pie that tasted like it was mostly vinegar (someone else at my table had it as well and it was the same). The waiter was informed but did nothing to rectify the situation. The lunch plates/specials always sound good but are underwhelming at best. Stick with the pizzas and burgers on the menu and you won't be too disappointed. Better yet, their West Philly location is far superior in every regard (beer selection, food quality, and even service). If you're looking for a spot in Center City, you can do much better.
