We loved our dinner!! Excellent flavors, tasteful menu, and quiet 10 table restaurant. Will dine again!!

My wife and I have dined here a few times and it has always been a great experience. The food is always prepared well. I love BYOB places.

Very good brunch

Had a wonderful dinner featuring The cuisine of Abruzzo.

The food is great, the way they treat you is greater!!! We will definitely be back.

Small intimate restaurant which is great for a special occasion. The food is delicious and the portions are generous.

Delicious, creative food. Very kind staff

Fantastic food and service

Another wonderful find on our getaway to Lancaster (one of our favorite culinary destinations) ! AMBIANCE: decorated tastefully in "1960ish" motif, very cozy and secluded. FOOD: very delicious, creative and interesting. Had pate(A), White Gazpacho (A+++), Octopus (A), Pork Chop (A+), Corn Polenta Cake (A++) and Peaches & Crème (B) for dessert. All the dishes were wonderful visually and portioned just right. SERVICE: our server Scott was very nice and friendly, accommodating to our needs, efficient and professional. VALUE: very adequate to the experience received. We definitely plan to come back and can't recommend it high enough for every foodie (and the rest of the world) : ).

Citronelle is a small, quaint, yet elegant place to eat. It's specializes in French cuisine and their food is always fresh and seasonal. We were greeted by the owner who is never sedentary as she is walking, talking, and ensuring that customers are feeling special. We had brunch and visited Citronelle during Lancaster's Restaurant Week. My wife and I both had the Mushroom and Brie omelet, bacon, and tea. And to top it off...refreshing and delicious sorbets (mango and black raspberry) . So if you're in Lancaster, PA...Citronelle is MUST! As they say in French...Bon Apetit!

The food and service. Very nice people. Every taste was great.

Excellent food quality and presentation for the cost. Wonderful experience!

Great meal. Byob. Small 30 seat restaurant. Attentive

The food is phenomenal!! The service is superb! It’s such a great experience...it’s intimate and perfect for a date!

Very nice. Food is amazing

Amazing and worth through ride. Great service and ambiance.

Food was absolutely delicious! And the server was very kind and helpful! The only thing was my soufflé was a bit too runny for my liking, but since it was the first real soufflé I've tried I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be this way or not, anyways it was still very tasty! Everything was so yummy, the food really was fresh and I had the best fried poached egg salad! Definitely recommend this small cozy place for a date or just a night out :) it was a tad pricey but in consideration to the taste and quality of the food, I believe it was worth it :)

The service and atmosphere made our dinner but the actual dinner wasn't great. The chicken was extremely bland and bitter. The lamb bolognase was runny and and the lamb meat was flavorless as well. The desert of deconstructed spice cake made our visit worth it, Extremely delicious and fun. But the dinner unfortunately was lacking in flavor and taste.

Wonderful brunch on Sunday. Enjoyed the poached eggs a la florentine and signature dessert souffle.

One of our favorite in Lancaster!!!

My first time visiting, so decided to meet up with friends for Sunday Brunch. Why did it take me so long to come? The atmosphere is small and beautiful; the service was very attentive and awesome; and the food was fantastic! We all left satisfied. Say hello to Susan, the co-owner, she's very hospitable!

Wonderful location, beautiful restaurant, cozy & warm, classic but innovative. Owners are very friendly!

Small but perfect. Don't even try to share the dessert...hubby and I nearly broke up over a shared lavender creme brulee that was beyond anything we'd ever had. #getyourowndessert

Unbelievable! Loved everything. Great food and Service. Great place to go for a special occasion.

Wonderful food, nice atmosphere but tight.

We went on Jamaican night so didn't have their regular menu but it was delicious. I am anxious to go back and try the regular menu.

Went here for a special dinner and the experience was awesome! We will definitely be back. When you come, eat slow and savor the meal. It's really a nice experience!

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. Were very accommodating to my soy allergy. I don't like that there is a $5 bottling fee for their BOYB policy but the drinks they do provide are tasty. Parking is difficult so fair warning. Highly recommend the crab croquettes.

Try the global wednesdays! Delicious food, great experience

Great food, service and very nice presentation! Definitely go and try

Great food, small (romantic) venue, BYOB.

Pricey but well worth it. Also being byob meant we could really enjoy ourselves. 10/10 would recommend!

Had dinner there tonight. It was amazing. It is a giant 5 star diamond size place. The owner was very nice. Will definitely go back

Kind and personable staff plus delicious, fresh, and flavorful food in a charming environment! Perfect dining experience all around!

Four of us went to Citronnelle for Sunday Brunch. It is a tiny place, but they must manage their reservations well as we did not wait for a table and did not see anyone wait. We all had different dishes and everyone loved their meal. My omelette of mushrooms and brie was big and fluffy. The accompanying potatoes were crisp on the outside soft on the inside mixed with pearl onions. The coffee was very good and they brought warm cream to put in it! It was a little noisy because there was a very large table that were drinking many bottles of their BYOB champagne. We were not rushed and had good service. The bread basket was good but a little pricey.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, relaxed, enjoyable, great service

Absolutely loved it! I can't think of a more intimate restaurant in Lancaster. Food was phenomenal and service was on point. Highly recommend

Great food and service, a "hidden gem" so to speak. Was not overly crowded but the tables were definitely to close together.

Great food! Byob, so heads up on that.

Everything was excellent amazing and delicious food, the atmosphere was great too, it was beautiful night

Delicious and interesting food, nice and unpretentious service staff, pleasant space, aside from the bright lights across the street. A translucent screen on the window would help. The background music was good jazz, played at very low volume. Wonderful! We enjoyed our visit enormously.

Very good brunch !

My first time, but I have heard great things. Citronelle didn't disappoint. Excellent food and excellent service. They accommodated our part of 8 just fine and everyone loved every course. This is the best meal we have had in Lancaster.

Had a magnificent dinner last evening with some friends. It was the first time at this establishment. Very quaint. Being on a quest to find all the Jewels in Lancaster, this place -to Me- is the Crown Jewel!! WOW!! I fancy myself as a Foodie, and my best foodie friend accompanied me here. The Halibut Special was “off the charts!” Crispy, tasty with great veggies as well. The NY Strip was magnificent!!! I had to give everyone a piece to celebrate!! A pasta dish was so delicious, as was the lamb. There you have it, in that order. Enjoy this lovely spot! For me, when the food is Great, ambiance, service, decor all come second. This place has it!! Merçí Beacoup to the chef, and all the supporting staff. 5 STARS!!!

this place is hands down the best restaurant in Lancaster. Yes, it is small, and very intimate, but my meal here rivaled many meals I've had in major cities with robust culinary scenes. will be back!!

Tonight the restaurant was specializing in Laotian food. I found the presentation very nice and the food was excellent.

Exquisite food, obviously prepared with a passion. A small place, byob (unfortunately) but absolutely worth to experience.

We visited for Colombian night a couple of weeks ago!! Love it! My wife is Colombian and I have had a lot if Colombian food!! The flavors were on point!

What a gem i'd say one of the best restaurants i've been to in philly and lancaster

The best pasta I have ever had, incredible flavor. The moraccan salad was suberb... delicious!

High quality food, great place to try something new

Very tasty food .

I have eaten Sunday brunch here twice and it was excellent both times. The owners are very lovely people and the food they prepare is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to my next dining experience at Citronnelle!

Great atmosphere, wonderful background music, great service. The duck confit is amazing and you can't leave without having the chocolate soufflé. BYOB adds to the charm.

Loved the appetizers and main courses. Service was excellent and the owner is really a great person.

Great food that is always creative and wonderfully tasty.

You walk into an intimate setting and are greeted warmly, often by the owner Susan. Each dish, whether it be New Year's Eve, Global Wednesday or Restaurant Week are prepared with detail that you can see in the beautiful arrangement of each dish laid before you. Chef Rafael uses edible flowers, fresh vegetables and quality meats to make each experience leaving you eager to return.

We are French, a bit picky on food, and we have been living in the US for nearly 4 years. It's one of the very best restaurants we have tested, ever, form the East side to the West coast. The difference is in the 'finesse' of the cooking, and also on the sides which come along beef or fish --> very accurate balance between the ingredients - not too much, just right. No offense for US guys but that is what is really difficult to find out in American restaurants, even those which are way more expensive than this one. Desserts are also very good, and it's a real struggle to find out some restaurants at this level for dessert --> sorbet was a real sorbet, souffle + crème anglaise were also quite good. Gougeres (sorry, I cannot translate) were great: never see that in the US so far One caveat: for people like us who did not know what is BYOB (OK, now we know), please provide at least one single red and one single white. It was a pity not to drink wine with such a meal. Nota: we tested 'le Parc' and 'Le Cheri' in Philadelphia downtown the days before: great reputation, and very good restaurants...but not sure there were better than Citronnelle finally (because of this sweet spot I was talking about) Congratulations - Patrick & Yvonne - Friday 14th April 2017

The grilled octopus starter and the bone-in pork were A-mazing and our server Betty was great too!

Delicious!

I don’t know why we waited so long to go to this restaurant. Our food was absolutely amazing and so was the service. Very small place, the only thing I did not enjoy was the interior decor ( too contemporary for my liking) and that everyone can hear everyone’s conversations.
