Disappointing. By the time, all the extras were added, the cost of the burger was comparable to a steak!! Staff could have looked more like servers than a group pulled off the corner. Burger was good. Slaw, not so good, wouldn't get it again. Not sure it was a trip I'd make again.

Our server, Zack, was awesome. He was very prompt, he checked on us often without being intrusive. He was friendly as well. The food was almost perfect. I had the veggie burger and chips, which was amazing! My fiancée had a beef burger of some kind and coleslaw. However it was a little bit overcooked. We'll be back. We didn't get a chance to try the milkshakes, but we're looking forward to it.

Unfortunately we ate our burgers before I had a chance to take a picture. The service was very good, but we also went on a Monday at 2pm. The food here was amazing. Total step up from any other burger establishment my husband and I have ate at. I had the wagyu and he had the fiddy-fiddy. Both were amazing. I picked the Cajun seasoning which was recommended by our server, it was delicious. It had just enough spice. The house made chips are very good as well. I’m sad there isn’t one of these is Ohio because I would most definitely be a regular customer! Anytime we visit the Pittsburgh area, we will definitely be back!

Kind of expensive, but totally worth it. Amazing ambience, great gimmick the got going. The food was absolutely AMAZING. I would say it's like the Ruth's Chris of burger joints. Very tasty. Went here for my 28 birthday with my mom and my now ex, but that's irrelevant. Anyways, two very big thumbs up for Burgatory. Keep it up guys!

Very nice atmosphere and staff. My burger was very tasty and the onion rings as an appetizer were cooked perfectly. I would recommend to anyone that has an adventuresome pallet as they have quite a few interesting flavor combinations.

If you're looking for a quality burger and shake that stuffs the heck out of you, come here. I had an Elk burger rubbed with "magic mushroom" rub with a pretzel bun, real whole grain mustard, provolone, apple wood smoked bacon, fresh greens, dill pickle chips, and tomato, along with a S'mores shake and beer battered onion rings as an appetizer. The food came out looking and smelling amazing, and it was so great to taste. It filled me right up unlike a lot of burgers I had in the past; I had to take it home! Staff is friendly and attentive, and decor is beautiful. I'll definitely come back again, I just have to remember to order less!

You are able to design a burger the way you want. There's an enormous list of options for what you can do. But its its not all just burgers. You have plenty other options if you desire. I have gone here numerous times and had to wait every time. It has always been worth it.

I loved Burgatory and loved the food. Its is very Vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian friendly! So many variety of choices to choose from. For example: Create your own Burger Menu. Although the service was not so good. Waiting for food felt like ages. And customer service.....adequate. I dont recommend the Vegan Vanilla Milkshake. They multiple times given me and my party the wrong orders. Especially a non-vegan eater got a beef burger several times in a row in the same seating!! Then they claimed it was vegan and tried to give it back the the consumer. SPOILER ALERT SHE THREW UP IN THE BATHROOM.

This is a one of a kind place as far as I'm concerned. Seems to be busy often and for good reason. The food is amazing, obviously heavy on the burgers. Everything is fresh and of the best quality. The wait staff was friendly and bubbly. Would love to go back again.

Went for lunch with 3 coworkers. It wasn’t crowded but the food took a while to come out. Kitchen mixed up the labels on two of the burgers and we didn’t realize until after the first bite. No problem, they remade both, but by the time they came out we’d been there almost an hour. One was fine, the other was not cooked to order. The manager comped both burgers but we won’t be back.

Hamburger joints are everywhere. This one is worth the trip. You can order from the menu or make your own. I reccomend you make your own. Great concept. It can get a little pricey - making your own - but well worth it. Everyone in my party said their food was delicious. Food was hot and salads were nice and cold. It's the little touches that make a difference. Took a picture of the make your own menu "Custom Creations". Just fill it out and give it to your server. Definitely will return next time I'm in town. Since the original review above. I have been there 3 other times. Although i love the food and concept. The service sucks. I waited at least 45 minutes for my food each time on my last three visits.

The best burger I've ever had! I had their new burger I believe it was called the three b perfectly seasoned cheese was melted and bacon was crispy. I added the seasoned fries too instead of the included chips. Atmosphere was friendly, fast paced but you don't feel rushed. Server was very attentive thank you Constantine! The sangria was delicious and complimented the burger nicely. I will definitely be back they have a great selection of milkshakes (adult ones too!)

An amazing burger place with a large variety of comfort food and treats. The premade burger selection in the menu range from vegan to caveman and ever thing in between. The last visit I enjoyed the Piggy Butter and jelly burger. To most this sounds like a disgusting mix of what ever is in the fridge, but the combination of sweet and savory with a bacon and beef patty pushing over an inch thick is to dye for. Literally, my arteries were crying with with what I think is joy. If this delicious monstrosity scares you too much, then you can try creating your own beast with the custom burger checklist. Burgers not your style and you have a sweet tooth. Try one of their many shakes. Or just go all in with there special of the week shake and burger. A Great place for small groups of friends. Expect a wait especially during lunch or dinner. Larger parties are accommodated for but will add to your wait.

Starting to not like Burgatory as much..a tad over priced and inconsistent quality... The last time I went there well done burger I ordered came out pink like medium.... Not even medium well.... And tasted fine when I sent it back all of a sudden it was super salty so much so that I couldn't eat it... That was suspect... But the bartender and manager made it right and I did tip well but I might think again before going back....

Loved this place! Great grass fed burgers, plenty of choices of toppings. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger with, angel dust, buffalo cheese and garlic mayo. It was fantastic. I try to stick to very low carbs, but they have evey kind of bun you can think of.

Honestly, I love this place. I've been several times this year and it's never a disappointment. My favorite shake is the Almond Torte. I also recommend always upgrading to the fries. Love the themed decor, industrial-style feel, and pitchfork burger skewers. Vegan options are available for burgers AND shakes. It's usually louder and busy inside so I would probably call ahead if you have a larger party. You wont be disappointed!

Not coming back. Can't speak of the food for this review, because we didn't make it that far. We were sat at a high top table and waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order before we finally left. Our waiter did not acknowledge us, come over for a drink order, or say they would be right with us. Menu is great for meat eaters and vegans. I've been here before with no issue, but our service today won't be bringing us back any time soon.

I'm a firm believer of you have to try it and have your own experience. I went there with a few buddies and we ordered our food. It came pretty quick. But the only problem was the meat wasn't cooked right or the way we ordered. I said medium well it was okay. My buddies said well done and it came rare. Maybe medium rare but it was bloody. They fix one burger and still bought it the same. So try it and find out.

I ordered it to go. Once I got there I was waiting for them to ask what I was picking up and about 5 of them were just standing behind the counter talking. I had to wait for them to finish until someone finally asked me what I needed. My order was right for the most part they forgot to add extra of something but no big deal and the milkshake was amazing! Definitely recommend the salted pretzel milkshake. When I ate my food the burger was a little dry. But it was all okay. My coworkers order was delicious they said so all in all we got fed and it settled our hunger. It may have been different if I actually ate inside.

Ironically I'm a vegetarian and this is my favorite place to eat out with friends. The atmosphere is fun - it's both relaxing and energizing - and the food is fantastic. I broke my diet in the most amazing way. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was a darling and talked me into the most delicious strawberry shortcake boozy drink which my (adult) daughter got into as well. The staff is so friendly and I got seated right away. They told me that between 5 and 5:45 on a Friday is usually pretty good for getting seated immediately. I was waiting for a group and got their early. They still sat me right away. She was very patient. The food was delicious. I got the espresso love shake which is delicious and has a shot of patron in it. My triple b bison burger was delicious. After the shake I couldn't finish it and the chips. I was too full. It was expensive though. 2 shakes and 3 burgers was $77.

Burgatory where have you been all my life? I have tried countless burgers in my life and never anything like your PBJ burger. From the delicious bun that is soft to the bite. The peanut butter that gives you the creamy sweet taste. The jelly with that habanero heat gives it sweet and heat taste. The bacon infused burger gives you a salty and savory full balanced taste. Lastly for icing on the cake, the candied bacon sets this burger over the top.The experience covers all the flavor palettes in one serving. The fries are delicious and fresh with a great seasoning. I would highly recommend eating here for a burger experience that is highly unique

Burgatory has awesome pre combined selections but you can also design your own by filling out a sheet. one of the best things is that they offer a variety of "exotic" meats such as dry aged wagyu, elk, and bison so if blows the average burger place out of the water .

I loved the impossible burger!! It was so delicious and a wonderful alternative to meat. I got cole slaw with it which was very tasty. The milkshakes are well prepared and they have a great selection! We got a table on the “patio” which was closed in because of the weather but they had the heaters on (which look like a tube of fire) and it really made the atmosphere cozy. Clean restrooms and fast service.

Whenever I am in town, I make sure to eat at Burgatory. The burgers are amazing! They have a great selection for the beef eater to the vegatarian. Since you are blowing the calories anyway, I suggest an adult shake. Espresso love is my favorite. The only down side is the food takes a long time to come out. I don't recommend going if you are in hurry.

Burger was delicious, the meat was so juicy and cooked perfectly. Sadly, the “adult milkshakes” were gross. We both had the choco taco, and it tasted like 90% vodka, to the point where I gagged. The vodka just ruined it.

Great place, a little loud and it was chilly inside, I'd reccomend bring a light jacket or sweater if you get cold in heavy air conditioning. Food was delicious and service was helpful and fast.

Burger was very good but NOT worth $15.00, it was smaller than expected. Next time we'll go for dinner elsewhere for the same cost as a burger. Staff was great, they were very helpful.

We took our daughter and granddaughter here on a visit to Pittsburgh. So glad she recommended this restaurant. The selection of burgers is great and you get to customize your meat, toppings, seasonings, etc. to your liking. This is a great concept and each person can customize to their specific dietary or taste needs. We even had the adult milkshakes which were really awesome! The portions are large for the average eater. Everyone of us had leftovers to take home. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful.
