REVIEWS OF Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord IN Pennsylvania

Sherry Fink

Not really sure why some people are only giving this one star. The food is great, fresh, and the service is wonderful. This restaurant buffet is very clean and in my opinion is much better than Shady Maple, cheaper too. Ever since my husband and I happened upon this buffet we've been telling everyone how good it is. We give it five stars.

Shelly Wilson-Thompson

Disappointed with their buffet. We went on a Saturday evening. It was busy enough that we waited about 20 minutes for a table. Yet the food was cold. Like, really not hot at all. The corn kernels were raw and cold. Nothing had flavor. My takeaway: cold and bland. You can get better quality at Millers and better selection at Shady Maple. Try one of them.

Jeanne Rowse-Davis

They have a great smorgasboard that changes menu every day. You can also order food rather than do the smorgasboard. This is a huge restaurant with a nice gift shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is recommended you call ahead to give them your name so you don't wait long when you arrive. Although they are really busy, the restaurant is clean and it seems to have good acoustics because for all the people there eating the noise was minimal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Connie Ray

Service was awesome. Food had awesome variety and very good. Only issue was hot foods were not hot... only Lukewarm.

Robert Arcaini

If you like Amish food as much as I do, you need to try this place. Consistently great food and friendly, caring service. One of my favorite places in Amish Country.

kelly kauffman

Not too many restaurants carry Ham loaf...it is really good here and their mash pots are real and delicious. Desert bar is amazing...make sure you save space for that.

William Thomas

Absolutely a joyous place to dine. There are people that smile and then there people that SMILE and it warms your whole body. If you happen to be in Pennsylvania go to bird in hand family restaurant and get a GREAT mile with a SMILE.

Hands down the best

Our experience at Bird in Hand Buffet was nothing short of awful. My wife and I both have roots in Pennsylvania Dutch Culture and this food does not represent authentic PA Dutch food. Some of the food sat in the buffet for too long and was dried out. Dutch food is made to be simple with very few spices, but this food was completely bland. The food is expensive and far below the quality of Shady Maple (which is also cheaper and has more to choose from). The restaurant was dirty and the waitresses were not helpful to customers around us. We see no need to come back here. We can make better PA Dutch food at home.

Today was a nauseating experience one of the workers was dabbing his face with a napkin where he picked a zit and he continued to pick at this zit while I was trying to enjoy my lunch. He never even washed his hands. This was behind the counter in the middle of the restaurant. Then during this same visit a girl busser spilled something on the floor and instead of using a napkin to wipe the floor she used the rag that they use to wipe the table...not only did she do it once, but twice. Another unsuspecting worker used the rag to wipe and prep tables. I was so disgusted that I flagged down a manager and told her what was going on. This ruined my entire meal...it really gagged me. If this happens in front of customers what goes on behind scenes? I then saw another girl use a rag to wipe and set another table I can't say it was the same rag but who knows. The table was so wet the elderly couple that came in had to ask for napkins to dry it. The idiot set a wet table. The manager said the two major employees were new!! Who cares!!! Teens and young adults these days have no common sense. I don't know that I can ever go back. This turned my stomach.

Dale Dempsey

Really good traditional German-esc, farm fresh food with the friendliest patrons around.

Susan Hynson

Food and dessert was good. Our server sarah was very sweet also!

NunieDDfan

Very good homestyle food, friendly service.

Alcor Drew Hilliard

Lots of food, but overhyped. Smorgasbord is just a fancy term for buffet, and really, this place is just a Golden Corral with food that doesn't suck. Nothing bad, nothing spectacular.

Rachel Williams

Came here because our favorite buffet in the area (Shady Maple) was closed today. The food selection here was mediocre and the food quality was poor. Over $60 later and we are still leaving hungry. The hostess was friendly but our server was not. We will not be returning.

John Ferri

This restaurant is owned and operated by the Smucker Family. They also run 5 Motels in the area. All of Their Hotels and Motels, are help to the HIGHEST standards. At the restaurant you can eat at a WONDERFUL buffet. Dine of a hug menu, that will satisfy anyones appetite. Or pick up fresh bakery items and gifts from the shop. It is worth the stop.

vilmaforjesus

Wonderful stay. Great food.

Jill Stauffer

We love this diner..Excellent food and service...

J Mae

Great service, delicious food, and tons of options for everyone. Loved visiting this restaurant and can't wait to come back.

Bz Nutz

Meh, I've had better. The buffet left something to be desired. It was worth it for the magic show downstairs though. That was incredible!

Clifton Bryant

The food is still great, and the service from the waiters I applaud their professionalism.

Carol Malone

What is there to say... the variety of food is outstanding. Good eats and fresh. Service was quick and timely.

Megghan Oksanen

Not vegetarian friendly but they have a decent salad bar, everyone was really nice and family friendly.

Ignacio Andrade

Delicious food.. great gastronomic

Kelly Fleming

The food was not good, had very little flavor and is way over priced. The desserts were not homemade, and were gross. We wasted so much food and left dissatisfied. The waitress had no personality and was not friendly at all. Even after 26 yrs experience, she hasn’t figured it out. I would not go back.

Lisa Absher

Best place in Pennsylvania to eat your people are awesome places are awesome

Karen Tomlinson

Great food at good prices. They have a huge buffet that we didn't get. We just ordered off the menu.

Robert Hinkelman

Really good food you got a try the Whoopie pie’s

Judy Gauntt

Very good.We got the add on salad and bread. Raisin bread is delicious. Salad so super fresh. Even purple eggs were yum. A warm bacon dressing was offered; very down home

Daniel DelPercio

Best restaurant in Amish Country. Never disappoints!

Rev. Michael Robinson, M.S.

Good food. Extremely personable staff, great price value. My family and I took in a popular magic show after lunch, it was all an amazing experience!

Kevin Grant

We decided to order from the menu instead of doing the entire buffet. The braised chicken was very good. Local salad was nice. The pork and sauerkraut was okay, except for the mashed potatoes that seemed to be potato flakes. The macaroni and cheese was from a food vendor or Stouffers. Certainly not home made. Pies were fine. One was soggy because it seemed to be still thawing out.

Barry Bowman

We were visiting PA and came for dinner on Saturday night. Had to wait a LONG time to be seated. But the smorgasbord was good and we enjoyed ourselves. Recommended.

Marginal Mechanic

Food here is way better than Miller’s. The restaurant is very clean and modern. Unfortunately the end of our meal was somewhat ruined as a Large party of people arrive to hadn’t showered and they really really smelled. I would have turned them away if I own the restaurant. Come eat with us but take a freaking shower first. I mean these people really smelled.

Vashti Jefferson

The food is so fresh, so clean, colorful, not overly seasoned. Great selection. First time having ham ball's, which is a PA. delight. Foods taste very healthy. The selections with the green label are locally grown. Fresh baked goods and local farm grown fruit. The staff is very friendly, and appreciative of tips, that aren't expected. I'm a big tipper because I'm in the business. There's a small wonderful gift shop area offering an unique shopping experience. Right on the main strip next to the farmers market. That's another story. One stop shopping.

Paul Barney

Oh Pennsylvania, this was my first meal in your state and everyone recommend this place. I am sorry to say this place did not represent your state well at all. I was sorely disappointed. Based on the number of 5 stars

Hello Kitty Gang

•Please think about coming down south. I will truly miss you. Can't wait to come back again.

west virginia

Good food fast service.

Wilfredo Bueno

AMAZING venue...Per the wife, best and most romantic night of her life...The in room lavender bar soap should be sold at every convenience store know to man and woman kind...It in itself made the trip worth it!!!

Cynthia Martin

Delicious food. A little pricey but does include a drink. Definitely try the ham meatballs.

Louise Carpenter

Fabulous, huge menu! Excellent service. Our server, Bridgette, was really helpful in suggesting what to order when asked about particular items. Food was served piping hot. Try their chicken corn soup made with creamy white corn. Hope they have it next time, for a bowl will be heavenly, instead of just a cup like was ordered. Burgers are big and juicy, and you gotta get the sweet potato fries. The absolute best ones anywhere! Fries are huge and an overly generous serving is perfect for sharing. I can't wait to go back!

michael phillips

Ok, I had the buffet. They had roasted pork, turkey breast, and chicken. I got all three and I promise you if you wore a blindfold you would not know the difference in taste for all three of them. They all three you tasted the same. it's horrible that the food is so bland and so flavorless that you can't tell the difference between roasted pork and turkey or chicken. It's a shame. It is shameful. And I will never return.

Cindy Wilson

Always good food and excellent service. This visit we came for the breakfast smorgasbord and it didn't disappoint.

Christine Pike

Great PA Dutch style food. You can order off menu or get the buffet. Has a nice gift shop and you can get items like soup and woopie pies, and other desserts to take home.

Tim W

Will never go there again. Not much of a selection and a lousy buffet. Definitely overpriced. Waiter was slow for refills and disappeared for a while. A lot of better places in the area. Reminded me of overpriced hospital food.

Vanessa Hunter

Not a great selection for the price. Flies were in the dining room

David Hearn

Always a great stop to make food is always good and a nice atmosphere

Dave Eby

The service were good. The food was good, but could have been more flavorful. They can and often do handle whole tour bus loads of people easily. Won't drive out of my way to return.

Orlando Francis

The food is very good, the service was excellent, the presentation is good..

Patricia Cory

It's an Amish smorgasbord with very good food. Very clean and impressive looking place. Has a gift shop area inside. Friendly staff. Little pricey, but no more than the other smorgasbords in the Lancaster area.

Marsha Walls

The food was very good! Also the restaurant was clean. Delicious home cooked food, & a good variety!

Wandering Wimmers

A great selection of local foods. Our server was very friendly and checked in on is frequently. Excellent price for the amount of food options! The shoofly pie is AHHHMAZING and chicken corn soup is super good!

Lynnette Mayo

Food is fresh. Atmosphere is Friendly. Prices are more than reasonable

Suzanne DREW

Great buffet style food. Everything there was great and fresh

Lain Weitzel

Ok the staff is excellent they are kind and very helpful, however the food is very Pennsylvania Dutch. So if you are a tourist or just wanting a good normal meal do not go here, there is very little selection, for kids it is even smaller, some of the things the normal buffet have are broasted chicken, they have Mashed potatoes from a box, also the Mac and cheese is not too good but it is tolerable, so if you are looking for a good meal or even a good Pennsylvania Dutch meal I would strongly suggest going elsewhere! I did not enjoy the experience overall! Also the gift shop is nothing much!

Ronald Linderman

Buffet is good and you can order off the menu if you choose. Nice polite service. Nice area plenty of shops and things to do if you want to.

Jay B

Always solid through the yrs coming out to this beautiful area of Pennsyltucky. Great location and value $. My 9 yr daughter loved it which is the most important, she hit the buffet like a dog on a bone

Jack Tyniec

Great food selections, good prices & friendly service.

Pat Radiosky

Good food, good friendly service. Can choose from table service or buffet, serve yourself.

Cathleen Skinner

Very good food. Nice atmosphere and the service is very good

Spencer Kormos

Went here because they have a Kid's Menu (which Miller's doesn't), and I forgot about Good and Plenty less than a mile away. *What a mistake that was.*. I have no idea what food the 4+ star reviews are eating there, because it's not what we had today. The kid's menu is everything cheap they could find at a wholesale box store (and seriously, how do you have hamburgers and hot dogs AND NO BUNS). The roast turkey was sitting in grease the entire time, the fried chicken was over cooked and dry, and the buttered noodles tasted like they were cooked before the breakfast shift (we were eating dinner). To add insult to injury, they filled the salt containers with *pickling salt* so it literally pours out of the salt containers saturating your food. About the only non-negative thing I could say, was that the carving station was delicious, but that ran out immediately, and nothing was brought in again the 45 minutes we were there. Service was average. WILL NOT GO BACK.

Mary H

This restaurant is our favorite when we are in the area. The buffet is wonderful for those who choose it. But you can also order single meals or sandwiches off the menu if you don't want the full buffet. Two in our party ordered off the menu and the third person had the buffet. The food was wonderful. Even if the parking lot is crowded take a chance. It was for us as well but we were seated right away (2:00 on a Tuesday). They have a stage show in the same building. You can purchase a combo to see the show and have your meal. The show had already started so we had no wait for the dining. We had already made plans to come back to see the Christmas show. Can't wait!!

Carolyn Bowman

Weekend trip In Lancaster pa a group of ladies we go every year.We go to Church Shop eat see a show. Just have a wonderful time. Relaxing and enjoying time together. Checking out the scene

Michelle Clutter

Great food, nice friendly staff and very clean.

Adi Abel

We had fun with our daughter, her husband and grandchild. Food was OK, not Great.

Joseph Vagnone

I cannot understand why anyone would dine anywhere else. The facilities are clean, the staff personable and professional, and the quality and selection of food best around. The value is unsurpassed. Don't waste your time searching for better - there isn't any. The Smucker family set the standard!

Jen D

This restaurant was always on my bucket list to visit and my dream came true! There was a huge menu to choose from and the smorgasbord buffet! I chose the buffet and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the ambiance was charming and all of the staff were friendly! I will most certainly be going back to eat here again!

Tiffany Barney

This was fine for just getting something rather quickly, but nothing authentic. It was like a limited option, low flavor Golden Corral. The Amish woman we just met after we ate says this restaurant is delicious though, so maybe it was authentic afterall.

Ash Nicci

The buffet is very good. All the food was hot and trays were filled. A variety of hot entrees with breads and cheese, a salad bar, soups and dessert bar too.

Sally diefenderfer

The food is fresh, moderately priced and employees are very friendly

Vicki Fleetwood

The Amish country has been updated and that saddens me. The old stores with crafts and quilts weren't as plentiful as I remembered from my last trip. The restaurant has been changed subtly and it was just regular food with too high a price tag. There really wasn't anything I cared for so I ordered soup.

George Camlin

Nice place, food was good but small portions, and waitress never refilled drinks or brought any type of dinner rolls. Many better places.

Nancy W. Sullivan

Good food no steaks on bar for 22 bucks

Tina Bayless

Food was very good and staff was friendly. Well worth the wait.

David Morlok

We went to Amish Country today just for a little sightseeing. We were extremely hungry around dinnertime. We noticed the parking lot of the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord was almost full, so we decided to stop in. One would naturally think that a nearly ful parking lot the food must be good and the prices reasonable..... Well.... We were wrong on both counts. The food was very bland and for the quality, they were way, way overpriced. One an upnote, we had a great time going through the shops in Bird-in- Hand and Intercourse, (PA). We couldn't make it to many of the shops, so I guess another trip will be in order.

Michael Thola

Fantastic food. The buffet had a large selection and even though it was busy, we were able to get in quickly

Mary Jo Barnhart

More than enough food and was nice meeting people from all over for lunch

Amy Hoover

First time there, food was great, buffet looked good but I ordered off the menu...

Dio Rules

Service was friendly. Good was really good. The reason for not giving 5 stars was the selection of food was small. I would definitely go back though

Grace Vogt

The food was excellent good variety in the waitress was her name was Linda and she's worked there for 24 years and she had a wonderful personality

John Hoesch

The food is always excellent. A wide variety of choices including the local Amish foods. I highly recommend this place and will be back whenever I'm in the area. Salad bar excellent, soups excellent, hot buffet excellent, as well as great menu options.

Jesse Bills

Great place! Our food was delicious, and our waitress was one of the best I have ever had. Super friendly and very alert to her tables. Come and enjoy a good Lancaster county dinner and then go play a round or two of mini golf just behind the restaurant. End the evening with a cone of delicious Turkey Hill ice cream. A really great facility to spend a summer evening at.

Pam Mullendore

Everything was great. The service & the food was excellent. It was the first time having dinner there & we would highly recommend it.

Mary Boll

We were very pleased to be able to get gluten free food for one person in our group. Food was very good and servings were generous. The waitress was helpful.

Linda Rogers

We were waited on right away. The waitress was friendly and made a change in the vegetable without missing a bet. It was our first time and my Mom said right away that we will be back. And the food was great !

Steven Reed

A nice building with a amish shop in it as you walk in and downstairs Is a dinner theater so theres alot here. In the main restaurant you can choose food off the menu or pick the buffet, we chose the latter Not as much variety as you would see in other buffets but it picks the most popular Lancaster and Pennsylvania Dutch (amish) dishes, like pulled pork with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. The food here is sublime and gives off that old town mom and pop feel. This is the orginal and real comfort food. I was going to give this buffet 4 stars but when I read online that all of the food and recipes they offer on the Smorgasbord is all either locally grown or sourced from around the greater Lancaster area, that made all the difference in the world. It is quite pricey but the food you're getting is well worth it. Will definitely return.

Jonathan O'Neil

Really good food. Friendly staff, building is always clean. Worth it to make a stop there if your in the area.

K Car

We ordered from the menu, ham balls were great but everything else was very bland and the turkey was dry. The 4 stars is for the great customer service from the manager. We had an issue with one of our dinners, he quickly and politely remedied it.

Tristan Leck

Excellent selection of quality buffet-style food at reasonable prices. Service is top-notch and the gift shop full of local goods and canned/jarred food is fantastic. Best smorgasbord in the area by far!

Melissa Bunch

Really great food. They have a buffet they call smorgasbord and it has alot to choose from and tastes really good. Very nice people there and very nice atmosphere

Diane Neville

Great food for a great price. Friendly and efficient service.

Manuel Angel Dieguez

Very disappointed with the food.. little variety..... the service.... the empty plates accumulated at our table..... and to top it off no military discount ..... for us.... never again... plenty of other places to eat.

Rosa Nicks

Very nice family oriented place good food

A black

It was very great friendly atmosphere. The different selection of food on the smogisboard was great and tasty. The service was outstanding I would highly recommend this place to eat at if you are in the area you won't be unsatisfied.

Heather Sears

Love love love!! Everything about this place!! The food is so very yummy!! ( I believe I need to find a new diet lol ) the home decor..just beautiful! Everyone the is just so friendly!

Matthew Ramsay

Went for lunch time the buffet was pathetic. Food was Bland I was there for over an hour and they never filled the fish.

John Mullins

This is the first time I have been here and I really enjoyed it. Everything is good and the buffet has a wide variety and it is kept full. Get your dessert first, if not, you may not be able to eat and enjoy it from overeating the other items on the buffet. Good for couples, families, friends and groups.

Marie King

Food was great. This place gave you a warm and homey feeling. Will definently be back next year.

ife harris

They did a great job with the large group we had. They sat us down in a timely manner. Also we were service just as fast. My mom love the apple and pumpkin butters she got. The next time she will getting large jars of each.

SweetPea H

We went there for lunch on Saturday. It’s full and some ppl including us had to wait in line. Since the restaurant is huge, the line moved fast we did not need to wait too long. The decor of the restaurant reminds of me those dinner restaurants which are getting less and less in NYC. Food is not fancy type but they definitely use freshest ingredients. It’s more like homemade style, portion is big (we did not have buffet we prefer to order from menu instead) and the price is cheap compared to where we come from. People who work there are friendly and helpful.

Kim Scoleri

We went for the breakfast buffet and it was delicious! The place was so cute and clean the waitress we had was very friendly. The sweet tea is incredible we went back and bought a gallon to go! We are staying at their campground Country Acres which is the best place in Lancaster to stay. We will be back for dinner no doubt!!!! Thank you for always making our stay here the best!

_LATOYA_116

Ive taken trips here over the years many times and this place w never failed me. The food is so good and fresh and the deserts are super tasty. You walk in and see all the breads, pies and more along with the crowds of people. Its a great atmosphere

Javjaff

They have a very good and fresh food there, service's very kind. We're really enjoyed.

Michael W

Liked that there was a smorgasbord if you wanted but a great menu of entrees and sandwiches available if you wanted that. Food is mostly locally grown and the soup delicious and filling. The prices were very reasonable too!

Kelly Flaherty

My family drove from NY and skipped lunch because we wanted to eat some, what we anticipated as, home cooking. We ordered the pot pies because I love pot pies my wife makes and the pot pies we have purchased at the Chedder's Restaurants(which are made from scratch and loaded with chicken and vegetables). These were the worst pot pies I have ever consumed! The crust was bearable, but it had a few peas and small pieces of carrot and a sliver of chicken(really none to speak of). They had plenty of gravy and even brought more to the table. It made us all sick to our stomach. They need to rename this 'entree gravy pie.

Janice Beacham

Good value. Large portions. Fresh. Gravy had great flavor. Dishes needed flavor. Desserts good.

Tom Bohacek

Good down home cooking. Full of tourists but done up well

Ida Marie Linch

We were there for the dinner show.4th time.food and show always good.not a private restaurant.family children ok.menu. and buffet choice.will go back.

anthony giordano

Very good food, wonderful help. As expected, honest, homey atmosphere, and you feel they've known you for years.

Alan Mann

It was clean, staff was friendly and the food was good.

David Desiderio

Do not go to the breakfast buffet! To start, coffee is weak. Creamed chipped beef-where's the beef? Same for sausage gravy- no sausage. Breakfast casserole? Dry and bland. Baked french toast was a soggy soupy mess. Leaves me with one question: how the hell can you screw up "Pennsylvania Dutch " cooking in an area inundated with and known for it??

Valeria Scaturro

We visited for breakfast buffet. Very family oriented place. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We'll definitely go back.

Ryeglizzy HD

this place sucks so very bad horrible food, nasty drinks, prices extremely high, needs better service !

Luz Gonzalez

Perfect for families. We love how friendly each person there is. Always one if our favorite spots.

Tami Bischoff

Met family here for breakfast. Great food, nice, friendly atmosphere. Loved seeing the horse And buggies going by

Jon McWilliams

Good food, but pricey, come hungry

Tim Burns

Great food! Linda is an excellent server. Great personality.

Charles Frank

Always a good meal whether you get the smorgasbord or ordering off the menu.

Frederick Breedon

I have nothing negative to say about my visit to Bird-in-Hand family restaurant. The food was good. The place was clean. The service was pretty good. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because it’s being marketed as a “family style” restaurant. To me family style means everyone sits at a table and we all share the same food being served out of large family style pot or serving dish. There are other true family style restaurants in the Dutch country area and that’s what we thought we were coming to. This restaurant is just a buffet. It’s a good buffet, but not the Amish experience I was expecting. The potatoes, corn, zucchini, and greens beans had signs on them that way were locally grown at specific farms. Which was cool. But other that that it was just a regular buffet. The chicken nuggets, fried shrimp, and many of the other foods looked pre-packaged. If you want all you can eat, good tasting food, then come on in. But DO NOT expect an Amish dining experience.

Dennis Moore

Just ok in my opinion. Lots of food and big place but for the price of the buffet I'm not impressed. I'm thinking most people would think it is good.

Joel Mosier

Since I don't live here it was a real hoot for the extended family to take me here. The food...and there is a lor of it....is outstanding. Meats, vegetables, bread, ....all served family style. Sat near some folks from Kansas. Just a wonderful experience.

Gumby Pokey

My first time there and I will definitely be back. The food was great and the staff is very friendly. Nice gift shop to browse in also.

Stephanie Burgess-Mitchell

My meal and show after were excellent. Will definitely be going again.

Lauren Dydyn

Great home cooked food and friendly faces welcoming you to eat. My party had such a fun time!

Mary Jane Barrenger

Visited mid afternoon on a weekday and food was fresh. Loved the fried clams, meatloaf and salad dressing best of all!

Lisa Bridgeman

Excellent Food and customer service! Clean and great!

Cheryl Snow

I don't normally do breakfast buffet but sine husband I both pulled a nightshift we went on our way home. It was a great buffet. Not pricey, hot food, lots of variety. Being locals we have eaten here many times but it was my first buffet

Carol West

Massive selection of breakfast foods at sensible almost frontier prices. Buffet well worth the 20 minute wait time. Nice area to browse while you wait for seating.

Mike Baxter

Food was very good and not expensive

Jasper Garner jr

Great food and service.

EF Warner

Very disappointing Lunch buffet. Show was Fantastic. This used to be a favorite place to drive 2 hours to visit. Past 3 visits the buffet has lost the original appeal it once had. Last visit was today May 29th. Lima beans dry and no flavor. Noodles were over salty. Pork and sauerkraut was way overly salted. Broasted chicken was very dry and hard. Mashed potatoes were very runny with a cream of wheat consistency. Salad bar and dessert area was great. Need to re focus back to an awesome hot bar selection.. Lunch everyday should have roast beef, moist turkey (that was also dried out), ham slices (not ham balls...), moist filling (it was dry also), mashed potatoes to die for (creamy and firm made with whole milk and butter and sour cream), moist meatloaf, fried fish, broiled fish, pulled pork selection, would be some suggestions for a daily fantastic lunch time hot buffet to justify the travels to visit and the buffet prices to sit down. This review represents 4 adults opinions.

Maryetta Zeller

Good food little pricey but it is a buffet

Brigitte Martin

A little pricey for basic comfort food. Service was good. Ham balls are great. Average buffet.

Elaine Bowers

This was one of the few places open on a Sunday in Lancaster since almost everything is run by the Amish and this is their day of worship. Gift shops that were packed with people the day before were closed and I was disappointed, but I think that is how it should be for there and everywhere. The food was pretty good.

Christopher Anteau

We visited over the holidays because we wanted to take the kids to the magic show in the theater. Not only was the magic show a lot of fun, the buffet was fantastic. Compared to other Pennsylvania Dutch Style smorgasbords, this one is by far the best. The wait was minimal, the service was fantastic, and the food was good. We will be back. Cannot wait to try the breakfast buffet.

Darlene Booker

The food was very good and reasonably priced. I highley recommend the Oatmeal Pie!!

Rob B

One of the best buffets I have been to anywhere. Food and service was fantastic. Highly recommended.
