Do yourself a favor and check out the Department of public health reviews on this restaurant. I am disgusted I ever ate there. I have ordered out from this restaurant many, many times and the food was pretty decent. I ran into the general tsos being a little over cooked a few times and my husband said the sushi was going down hill, never complained. I had an issue recently where the noodles honestly tasted like they boiled it in dirty dish water. When I called to state this I was literally yelled at by who I am assuming is the owner and told to never order or come there ever again. I was no where near mean or anything on the phone and I stated I would like either a refund or something else they refused to give me a refund and said I had to come back there to get something else. Well, I did come back only to have the owner/cook/whatever come out sniff it, state it was fine then also state he may have used dirty water. Yes, he said that after saying the food was fine. It was just a horrible experience and I will NEVER order from there. I suggest you don't either. That is no way to treat customers.

The food is good but they harass people for tips when they deliver. This is about the fourth time I've been told I need to write a tip. Not polite. *Update* I ordered again. Delivery guy didnt bring enough money to give me correct change. Its ashame cause I was gonna tip this time now idk I might have exact change everytime

I've been going to this restaurant for takeout for years now and I've always received fresh and tasty food. The wonton soup is always consistent along with other Chinese food dishes. The sushi is the best in this area and I always get 5 or 6 rolls. Spicy tuna and yellowtail are always delicious along with your usual California and Philly rolls. The staff has always been friendly and professional to me.

Fantastic sushi and menu. Some specials are worth it. Extremely fast delivery. However, most of their menu is overly priced for the small amount they give. They add on an additional delivery charge per sushi choice if ordering from the 50% off menu in addition to a delivery charge not including tipping the delivery person. The last time I ordered sushi for delivery the guy took my $ without even asking if I'd like change. Very disrespectful business. I've been ordering from them for a few years and most places around here will throw in something if you're a regular customer or at least treat you with respect. Unfortunately, they will not be receiving my business any longer. Also, they heavily use carrots in their Chinese portion of the menu. King Food Restaurant is way better, no sushi but delicious, friendly staff and properly priced. If you want sushi around here I suggest the Hibachi Grill on Cottman Ave, just as good and all you can eat.

These people all have a very very bad attitude. I am pretty sure they are racist as well. I will never order from them for the mere fact that they have horrible customer service. I advise everyone to never order from here ever in life. And check the health department so many complaints. I even seen a roach crawl on the floor . Excellent food, clean establishment, friendly staff although very quiet. Speedy service but cooked to perfection. Never a wait....and its b.y.o.b. I go there at least once very two weeks. Very well deserved of the 5 stars. Its a "GOT TO GO THERE" place.

Drove by wanting sushi so I thought I’d give it a try. I called to place an order for delivery, the first time I called the guy yelled at me over the phone to make up my mind before I called then simply hung up on me and would not answer my call after that, so I tried calling again off my friends phone and come to find out the same guy answered. Once my friend starts ordering the guy cuts her off and asks “what’s the address” she confirmed the address and he yells “I can not hear you” after repeating our address 3 times the guy ended the call saying “we don’t deliver” NEVER AGAIN ! how is this place still open after all these bad reviews and horrible customer service!!

Decided Sushi was the thing for today and we ended up here. It was a pleasant surprise at how good it actually was ! Everything we ordered was on point! Our waiter was very nice and checked on is throughout our meal...but did not seem rushed . Soothing background music and soft lighting made it super chill and relaxed. Not super expensive..however there are no combo meals here and a dish is relatively restaurant priced and worth it ! 5 out of 5 for this place !

The absolute poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I ordered from this place on grub hub which clearly indicates a $20 dollar minimum my order was processed and I get a call from this restaurant telling me they refuse to deliver to me because it’s too far.. mind you I live 13 minutes away... then they start claiming that it’s now a $40 dollar minimum. The owner got on the phone and I’m honestly just appalled by how rude he was to me. He gave me the biggest attitude and said $40 dollar minimum ok? Ok? Bye! Bye! Bye! And hung up on me... extremely unprofessional I’m like still in shock that they would treat a customer this way

Called them about my order that was totally wrong and owner would not make good for food .He said I NO CARE YOU GET NOTHING FROM ME DON'T COME BACK YOU GET NOTHIN FOR FREE. My father and i eat lunch here all the time..The owner is a quiet man but always smiles and greets us..the food is delicious with large portions and very reasonable lunch special prices. We have never had a bad meal or bad service in the 20+ times weve eaten here.

Ridiculously expensive .. wanted to add chicken fried rice instead of pork n they charge an extra 2 dollors for pbly hardly any chicken in rice ..ridiculous chicken isnt even expensive to charge extra for it no more expensive than pork. I dont understand why the charge extra any asian restaurant for that .. its not like im asking for shrimp which cost more... ok food but terrible customer service at times depends on who picks up .. to expensive for basic asian food

This place is one of those guilty pleasures. I don't usually like any "fusion" places in that it seems they need to combine a few different menus because they don't do any one of them well, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised with this place! Dined in at least twice now and ordered out a couple times; bot a great experience!

We order from you 3 times per week. I think the fact that you charge so much and usually get it right makes tonight order especially depressing! You rushed me through to get the order done which you normally don't do and then when I requested specifically to have light sauce, just a little sauce not a lot, you gave me EXTRA SAUCE. Then you had the nerve to charge extra for tofu instead of chicken (ok, whatever) but the tofu AGAIN was not up to the standard of what you have normally delivered. This is amateur at best and not something I've come to expect from your restaurant. We debated between this place and another place and decided on you and made a sore mistake. BE CONSISTENT with your quality. I don't think we'll be coming back again for a long while. We sunk $400/month into your business and you have no respect for your customers. I've attached a photo. This is clearly EXTRA watery sauce and soggy tofu when I asked for the COMPLETE opposite. I'm so disgusted.

Owner was very rude. Driver could not find address and left voicemail to call back and give more information.. When I did so I was told to cancel my order if I cannot pick up and then hung up on. After going to pickup.. Hostess was friendly while the owner complained to me about how busy they are and he pays the driver $10 an hour- he had one dine in customer seated and two idle employees behind the counter on their cell phones. I don't even want to try this food. Terrible and nasty attitude. No customer service skills whatsoever.

I've been ordering from here consistently for the past 5 years. Despite occasional mistakes, the food has been a steady slightly-better-than-mediocre which is typical for northeast philadelphia. Today I ordered again, my usual $25 order for delivery. An angry man I could barely understand called and yelled that my order was too small and their "new minimum" is $35. Well, there are plenty of other places to order from.

Pretty good food, General Tso's is Top 3 around. Broccoli is quite a delight with the order's sauce itself. Nice place, good server, clean quiet environment. Wouldn't bring a 3 child family but good for groups of 3-4 or less.

Ordered Shrimp and broccoli with shrimp fried rice. I also ordered via grub hub. Not only did the food come at the exact time expected but it was great. It has been a while since I order fried rice from anywhere , and not only received fried rice( not that brown/yellow rice they try and pass off as fried rice) but received authentic fried rice with eggs onions bean sprouts and veggies in it. The food was great will be ordering from there again.

Though Generally Fresh and efficient, the Thai food is never even close to Thai food, more like a marketing scheme. I may eat there again, but they got my order wrong and kinda didn't want to admit it which made me upset. The rice I ordered, coconut pineapple rice, had no pineapple or coconut flavor at all that was to be detected. They failed to admit it was really just chicken fried rice. Why not just say "oh, perhaps we made a mistake..." and try to remedy the problem. The girl told me it wasn't authentic Thai food so I wouldn't be satisfied anyway...what kind of fusion is that?

Aya is my favorite little Asian joint. The Sushi is fresh and they have a 50% off menu that makes my life happy. Must-try: Godzilla roll with salmon, Volcano roll, Rock-n-Roll, Sunomono appetizer, avocado salad, spring rolls, any sushi roll with salmon. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly, food is excellent.

I've eaten at a lot of sushi spots over the last few years, and this honestly might be some of the best in Philly. Great quality and you cannot beat the price. I'm very satisfied and absolutely stuffed for less than $20. Surprising little hidden spot in Mayfair, who woulda thought. I recommend this place for sure.

The area isn't crawling with sushi places. Granted, it's not the best sushi I have had in the city BUT it is the best in this area. I order here often. I mostly order out but dined-in recently. The hype is real! Cozy restaurant with prompt service and awesome food. Two words: wasabi noodles! Please make sure someone at your table orders this dish. Get a glass of wine and start with the shrimp dumplings. Overall great experience - definitely towards the top of my list of restaurants in PA.

AMAZING SUSHI. I went here once and got the tiger and dynamite rolls and oh my God. Amazing. I am officially hooked on this place. The prices are great and they have a wide range of foods on the menu, the waiter was so polite and well kept and attentive it was quiet and very relaxed feeling. The food was out fast and delicious. Nice inside and the sushi is really good and they even deliver! Really really rude staff though. I have bought from here a couple times but it is now a last resort because every time except one time I ordered from here I had very rude experiences. Everything from shooing you away in the restaurant, demanding bigger tips, and trying to walk away with your food happens here. So basically really nice food, but extremely rude service, so rude that it is like, who raised these people? I wouldn't recommend this place because of their outstandingly terrible service. Only get it if it is in delivery range and you are REALLY needing some sushi
