The food was phenomenal. Service was just as good. Alex and Tara did a fantastic job as well. This place is a must-go for foodies.
Very disappointed in this over rated BYOB in Wayne. We went as a party of six to celebrate a birthday. We all ordered off the a la carte menu as none of us wanted a six course meal. My wife and I both ordered the same two courses, oysters as our appetizer and the striped bass as our entree. The oysters were each about the size of a quarter and although they were fresh their minute size was very disappointing. The striped bass had a bitter sauce dripped over a very small and slightly over cooked potion of bass. Apparently the chef feels that a tablespoon full of tasteless vegetable must make this a gourmet delight. Unfortunately we both strongly disagree and will not be returning. We found the food mediocre, the portions minuscule and the price inflated.
Good food at very fair price!
My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here. Not only are Tara and Alex extremely talented chefs, but also the nicest most accommodating people we have met. The food was amazing, the service was great, and it was a memory we'll never forget!!
Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. The food was some of the best I've ever had on any continent. Atmosphere was great, lots of personal attention from the chef, and a reasonable price for what we ordered. Can't wait to come back!
Sunday Supper last eve, 4 course tasting. Ahi tuna amuse. Oysters with cuke mignonette, mushroom toast, spring pasta with ramps and peas lightly sauced, pots de creme. Hubby had duck with pickled cherries and honey cream instead of mushroom toast and flat iron steak...very very happy tastebuds. Dining partners out of comfort zone for both food, (new to oysters and fois gras) and experience and were delighted. Brought our own bottle of Prisoner. Server was pleasant and informative, chef in the dining room personally engaged with diners. Great experience.
The food and atmosphere are wonderful. Alex and Tara always provide the most creative dishes. The offerings are always so unique and delicious. We highly recommend it.
Expensive but good for the burbs.
Always great food. Going there again tnite to enjoy
We had not previously heard of this restaurant but went there for the dinner honoring Julia Child. The food and service were wonderful. The amuse bouche was delicious and included a little glass of sparkling wine. This was in addition to the split of sparkling wine that we brought. They provided glassware for everything (we had brought the split as well as 1/2 bottles each of white and red wines) at no additional charge. The potato leek soup was so rich and yummy and was especially enjoyable with the very good bread. The mussels were delicious as was the salad nicoise which included rare tuna. We both loved the Dover sole and the desserts. Our server Rosie was great and the Owner stopped by the table which is always very nice. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back again. It is such a treat to find a BYOB within 20 or so minutes from our house.
We have been enjoying dining At The Table BYOB since it’s inception. We have ALWAYS had a delicious time. It’s where we to go where everyone knows your name. It’s being treated like family yet getting sumptuous 4 and/or 6-course dinners. While we have been there countless times, I always wanted to keep this little gem hidden. That’s selfish and I realize so I wanted Chefs Alex and Tara to know that I’m no longer keeping my mouth shut; everyone needs to know about this place. It’s what family does! Check it out for yourselves. You will not be disappointed in any way, shape or form. And they take all types of payment. Not cash only anymore. Moving on up! ♥️ I hope you all experience the talent, creativity and top notch service we have been experiencing for the past 2.5 years!
Really wonderful experience. Went above and beyond, and look forward to going back!
Food is outstanding! Cozy ambience.
Service was excellent. Food was out of this world. Very accommodating to a change request to the Tasting Menu (one of us skipped the foie gras) Small, intimate, expensive, but really worth it. BYOB
Excellent! Meticulously prepared food in a warm, friendly setting. I recommend without reservation!
Best meal I ever had. Sharing it with my wife on our anniversary made it more special! Romantic spot worth every penny!

Fabulous ambiance. Food is delicious. Staff very helpful . Excellent small , unpretentious little restaurant.
Way too loud. Food good but expensive. Just can't call it great.
Great culinary experience! You'll not be disappointed. Awesome ambiance, service, and the food is simply great.
Delicious tasting menu!
We've been saying all meal we have to write a review, because it really is impressive. I was gonna wait until I got home but the last course (house carrot cake) had me lifting my head in ecstasy, so I thought I'd just share that now while still sitting at the table. A+
Holy bajeezles that mushroom toast at lunch was dynamite. Get there before this place gets too popular. My mom won't stop talking about this place. Seriously mom, stop.
I've visited At the Table three times, and each dinner was a great experience. The menu was perfect for the kind of dinner I expect for about $80-$90 (full course), and the chefs prepared every dish exactly as it should be--nothing overcooked, nothing undercooked, beautiful presentation. Service is impeccable, and the chefs personally visit every diner to ask how they like the food. I've been to some great restaurants, but this one is the best so far.
Only one word to describe our dining experiences here … PERFECTION! We are constantly impressed with the menu selections and delicious pairings that Tara and Alex come up with … always an AMAZING experience. This has become our "go to" restaurant for all occasions … everyone we introduce to At The Table is equally impressed!
Just had a wonderful birthday dinner here with my girlfriend. This place is excellent! Four course Sunday dinner included some of the best octopus and steak I've ever had. And the egg and caviar..phenomenal!! The ambience and service were tops...if I could give it 6 stars I would..loved this place!
Amazing cuisine. Prob my new favorite dinner spot. Menu is awesome. The quality of the food is spectacular.
rand new menu items include Crab Croquettes alongside mango relish, pickled mustard seeds, and horseradish crema ($20); Scallop Risotto with ramp arugula pesto, leeks, wild mushrooms, and parmesan ($30); Soft-shell Crab compressed honey dew along with mint and chili; compressed cucumber with wine and lemon; honeydew purée ($30); Pan Seared Skate with gem lettuce, king oyster mushroom, and grape verjus ($36).
Extraordinary service and dishes. We will certainly be back as soon as we have occasion to be. Treat yourself to the tasting menu on Fridays and Saturdays.
"This is almost too pretty to eat." We said that on every course. The attention to detail was truly astounding. It starts with the servers and ends with the food. The small plates are perfectly proportioned and lovingly presented. BYOB is in the name, so don't forget your bottle of wine. They are cash only and price fixe, so come prepared.
Once again, excellent meal this time with great friends. Started with oysters and incredible mushroom toast followed by burada melon and tomato salad and the best foie gras ever with pickled mustard seeds , celery root puree , prosciutto and black berries. !!
Excellent. Period. We will be back.
UPDATE: Making this a regular on our dining cycle!! Really good options and some unusual preparations. And the menu is updated regularly with new creative items. Give it a try! Second time at this BYO in Wayne. We had a delightful time!! Two of us did the tasting menu and the third was allowed to do a la carte. I loved everything (maybe not the Dover sole as much). Very creative and extremely tasty!!! Highlights for me were the deconstructed deviled egg, the grilled watermelon with lobster, the foie gras, the duck, and the chocolate croissant bread pudding!!! Highly recommend this restaurant. A few things to consider: it is very small and therefore can get very noisy and busy for the small kitchen. Maybe choose some less busy times. Our waiter’s name was Ben and he was terrific!
Absolutely amazing dishes! You will love this delicious BYOB!
Delicious food, friendly staff it was a pleasure..
This aid an absolutely wonderful byob in the heart of Wayne. Both chef Alex and chef Tara are very creative. The food is delightful.
Me and my wife love this place. We talk about it all the time.
We loved the meal and the service and are treating a friend coming to visit us from storm ravaged Puerto Rico to dinner. Creative, delicious food in cozy atmosphere.
Superb cuisine
Nice atmosphere Excellent service The food. . The chef 4 course Is an excellent pairing Of flavors Also ordered off the menu Was not disapointed All around great experience
One of the most amazing and unique dining experiences on the main line. Alexander is a fantastic chef .the food options are creative, delicious and fresh. My favorite choice of dining experiences .We will be back!
Cozy hidden gem in Wayne! The food was delicious and exceeded all of our expectations, will definitely be back!
This place is so under rated. Always fantastic options for appetizers and main courses. Our server past two occasions, Hailey, is very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Also had the pleasure of talking to the chef, Alex Hardy, last couple of occasions too. Can’t wait for November to return for our monthly date!
Alex and Tara are by far the most talented food artists on the mainline. It’s NYC dining right here in Wayne. Small and welcoming. The staff is easy to talk to. We’ve met the most interesting people while serving us. The food is unbelievable. I have never had a bad meal and although the menu is small he has always been wonderful about our seafood allergy. The beauty of this restaurant is talking to Alex and understanding where your food comes from and how its been prepared. If you are a “foodie” this is your place.
Best restaurant in Wayne, especially for prix-fix tasting menus. Not cheap, but fantastic value for a special meal, and BYOB helps offset the cost. Super attentive waiters, plus chef stops by every time.
The best restaurant on the main line and arguably one of the best in the philly metropolitan area. The chef is amazingly creative yet aware of his customers. Try it. You’ll love it
Everything was amazing and we even got a cool story about the lobster sauce from the head chef.
Way over priced..
Fab place!!!!
Best food I ever had!!
Thanks for memories of exquisite fine dinning! Who doesn't enjoy a lot of "firsts". We will be looking forward to the next time.
Pretty good food, but they have a very annoying cash only policy.
At The Table is a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Wayne that offers a unique dining experience with exquisite cuisine. I visited this quaint BYOB last week with my family and I have to say that I am very impressed and plan on returning very soon.
Incredible meal! Worth every penny the chef is a genius and should be recognized for it. What a private, cozy and comfortable place to enjoy an amazing meal. The
We had a private party here, the food is amazing! Each dish was a delight and artfully presented. The service was impeccable.
Amazing, incredible experience. Service is splendid and the food is what the main line needs! I highly suggest making a reservation before they get too popular!
