Decent prices. It is okay. Not a very vast selection for the non seafood eater. If you like seafood and especially sushi, you will be happy.

Good solid food that I stop by the have when I'm in the area a few times a year. They have a 50/50 menu orange Chinese versus American. I usually stop here to get the sweet carrots from their beef pot roast, reasonable sushi, chicken that is on par or slightly better than Royal Farms (not usually a chicken guy but here has a almost unique flavor to it that makes me want to take a bite) and tapioca from the cold bar. I would have raided 3 and 1/2 to 4 but the carrots were harder than normal and not as sweet plus the sushi was not as fresh as normal. Pleasant wait staff!

Amazing food. My daughter is constantly asking to go to Aroma. My family and I stopped going for many years after opening because the food was always cold and chicken a little rubbery. But the last 3 or 4 years the food has always be OUTSTANDINGLY AMAZING. I would recommend Aroma over any other buffet in York. Mainly because of the price and food quality for the cheap price. If you have kids make sure you visit the chocolate fountain!!!!

The teriyaki chicken was floating in teriyaki sauce, the chicken and broccoli tasted like soy sauce and more soy sauce, the meat on a stick was bland at best and the watermelon tasted like a salt lick. Once i spoke to the female manager she laughed at me when i described our experience and only gave us half the money back for 1 meal without including drinks. I hate this place and won't be back.

The best Chinese buffet (I've been to) in the area, for sure. The price, selection, and quality are unbeatable. A previous reviewer mentioned getting sick when they eat here, but I ate a good variety of foods during my visit and I didn't feel sick in the slightest. Besides, when you eat at a buffet style restaurant, that's a risk you're taking. In this restaurant's case, you wouldn't get sick because of the food itself, you'd most likely get sick because of little kids touching the food with their bare hands when serving themselves. Nonetheless, I recommend this restaurant.

One of the worst Asian buffets I have ever been to. The service was so bad, they took the soy sauce from my table to refill while I was eating and never returned it. Never gave me a drink refill. The food was real tired and it was dinner time. The mussels where floating in water, boiled and not steamed. All the other entrees were just as bad.

At one time I had given this place a 5 star rating. That rating stood for many years. However, over the past few visits the quality has definitely gone down. The food was warm, some actually cold. Some buffet items had to have been on the bar for hours. I got some shrimp, when I started to peel it there was a very strong ammonia smell. I stopped there and left. This place was once a gem. I don't believe I will be back.

Great food. Friendly staff. Heather and Jimmy are doing a great job with the place. We have been eating there about 12 years. Started going there right after they opened when Angie and Lee owned. Great family place. We watched Angie and Lee's kid growing up now we will be watching Heather and Jimmy's kids grow up. To me I think they have the best steaks of all the Buffet's in York. The baked pork loin is excellent. All the food is great and the price is right.There is a new owner now. She is very friendly and polite. Still great food and friendly staff. If you go after 4 they have steak on the buffet but if you ask they will make one to your order. I always get my well done. They are so tender and they seem to melt in your mouth. Very tasty too. I was there tonight Saturday and they had one of my favorite things on the buffet chicken on the stick. Boy was that ever good. You can't go wrong eating there. The great food and and staff and it's really clean and the price is right. So do yourself a favor and go try it and you'll be hooked and keep going back. Gary

We went for the Thanksgiving dinner,we go usually a few times a year for lunch and it's great. Dinner tonight was awful. Food was almost not edible. We left still hungry. Turkey was crazy dry. Oysters tasted very bad. Shrimp were gross. Steak was like a old tire,I felt bad leaving so much food on my plate

Great price. Abundant selections and great salad to start my meal. Pickles were a little sad ,but the seafood salad was the best I’d ever had in a number of states. Lunch time? Get in early! Good food... very reasonably priced ($8 adult at this time) few sushi options, fairly large selection of both Asian and American food options. Small very nice dessert selection. (Thankfully no soft serve). Small salad area, fruits and pudding area.

Terrible place. Though the staff is nice, when giving them the 20% off coupon they only take 20 CENTS off. Our meal was 23.98 before and went down to 23.52. It should have been under 20 dollars instead. And the food has made me sick every single time I eat their no matter if it is lunch or dinner. Also I now have a sore on the side of my mouth. Watch out!

The food has gotten worse. I used to eat here more often but the food quality is getting worse. While the service is friendly and excellent, the meats were mostly dry, fried chicken was dry and tough, some pork dumplings tasted old and gross, and other foods tasted bland or like it was three-day-old dry food. All the desserts were mediocre. You won't cheesecake or strawberry shortcakes etc. They have simple mini cakes that look "pretty" but all taste the same. The Ice Cream is just basic flavors and simple foods to dip in chocolate. The next time I want Chinese I will go to the York Bar and Grille. They have a larger, fresher, more flavorful selection.

People are complaining that there is not enough Chinese food. Where in the name does it say it is a Chinese buffet? It has Chinese options but also American and seafood options. We eat here often and have never been disappointed. The selection of different foods is great and the price is right. People act like they are paying $50 for the buffet. If you want a meal prepared by a master chef, go elsewhere and pay the $50 or more and get hardly any food for your money.

I used to enjoy this buffet. But salad dressing very watered down now. Iceberg lettuce instead of romaine or spring mix. I am vegan and basically eat the salad bar and the one tofu dish they have. There were 3 pieces of veggie only sushi, which I appreciated. Please bring back the higher quality items I am used to.

Not as great as some reviews claim. I have ate in better ones, and worse ones. Some food was warm and okay, other food was okay but cool. Some chicken dishes were tough to chew. The pork chops were tough also. The mashed potatoes were a little runny and no flavor. The corn was tasting a little watery. No chicken wings at the lunch buffet. Also no wonton soup. Also no fortune cookie, just a candy mint. You pay upfront. Lunch buffet was $8.47 with tax. I just had water with the meal, which they only offered to fill once. Staff was friendly.

Came here with entire family on the second weekend of January 2018 and we're satisfied with the cleanliness, how the different entree were presented and how inexpensive the fee is compared to other buffet restaurants we've been. This restaurant has a mix of Chinese, Japanese and American fare which would satisfy almost anybody who is looking for variety. One thing that we would advice this restaurant is to be wary of how the food is placed beside one another in order to avoid cross-contamination which could be a sticking point to those who have certain food allergy. Good place to dine.

Decent Chinese buffet for an inexpensive meal. Tried a pork with sauteed whole mushrooms. The pork was tough and red in the middle while the mushrooms we're barely cooked. Disappointed. Went and got teriyaki chicken, a red potato casserole and spinach baked with cheese. All was good. Had a few cold shrimp which are always bland if you don't use cocktail sauce. Have eaten there many times over the years, just not often. Like I said, good go to place for Chinese once or twice a year, but their "American" food they offer leaves something to be desired.

Someone should probably call the health department on this place. My girl friend and I ate here for the first time yesterday, Christmas eve and witnessed a man throwing up food from this place in the lobby of the restaurant. When my girlfriend and I got home I had really bad stomach pains and ended up with diarrhea while my girlfriend was throwing up all night. Not sure what they are doing with their food, but it's making people sick.
