Friday night is the time to go! Delicious crab legs and mashed potatoes, and a wide assortment of food- the salad bar is always inviting and delicious, the chocolate covered strawberries are incredible and the service is consistently good.
It’s a buffet at a casino in basically BFE, OR. You get exactly what you expect. They have stuff you don’t mind eating and it’s sorta okay tasting but everyone fills their plate and then goes back to try that one thing they didn’t the first pass. Zero service. We got our own everything. That’s why it isn’t a 3 star.
Lots of blah food. Only meat choice tonite was fried chicken.....what???!! Lasagna was good. But they even got rid of their hard ice cream.... haven't been here in awhile. ..and it'll be awhile again. .. should have read the comments.
Very good selection of food. We were there during brunch, on a weekend. Everything was hot. Service was great.
Looks like they have improved their seafood selections, food quality, and their staff. Had a great dinner with amazing service from the staff.
Food was good and service was good. Only thing was corn on the cobb over cooked, but everything else good
Nasty and expensive!
I only gave this two stars instead of one because the wait staff was very friendly and attentive the day we went. However, the food was just sad considering the price you pay to get in. If you're paying that much to get in, you should be getting better spaghetti than noodles covered in meatless Prego. Their sauce is literally one of the cheapest store bought jar stuff. The only food I was happy with was the ice cream, and it wasn't even that good, I just happen to love most forms of ice cream.
The worst food I've ever eaten. The rice and pasta were hard, the salad bar had flies, the fried chicken was soggy, the tamales were raw and frozen in the middle, the server (Christine) yelled at us for being sat in the "closed" area and wouldn't serve us. I called to report the horrible service and was ignored. We will never eat here again. My 70 year old mother didn't eat even though we paid. We had a much better dinner at burger king after we lost $35 at your horrible buffet. 0 stars.
Really lousy buffet
The lunch buffet on the weekend was good
I wish they had a bigger salad bar. Also I wish they had a bigger section of food. The casino in Grand Ronde Oregon is 10 times bigger and is only 9.99 for everyone. With out a card. I have to pay 13.99 for my teenagers. They are two young to get the players card. You should charge the same price for everyone. 9.99 is more then a fair price for what you get.
Not a very good buffet, it needs much improvement in my opinion.Go to Rolling Hills in Ca. or Spirit Mountain in Oregon. Those casino's have awesome buffet's!
This was a great place to eat before new management came in and ruined it. It went from a somewhat classy dining experience to just an over priced disgusting buffet. The fried chicken turned into a mushy paste and could be “chewed” without teeth, the chicken parm was just chicken (not even fried) with cheep marinara on top with cheese. Even the salad tasted rancid. Now the last thing that made it somewhat nice, waitresses getting drinks for you, has been replace with a self serve station. If the new management is reading this please know that you ruined a great thing.
We walked in a was greeted by a young lady who took our names for buffet. What I don't understand with what she says is pretty simple she puts your name down but if you get out of line instead of paying now when your table is ready you have to get back in the long line to pay before you can eat. It doesnt make since why they make you get back in the long line if you already were in a long line to put in your name. HUH????? So, we will pay first and not have to get back in line a second time. Why do they do this let me assume it's so the casino makes sure you come back and dont change your mind. Not sure I really understand the point of it but okay. .. who knows as slow as the two ladies are we may not have to leave by the time we get upfront. Tonight is surf and turf and $23.99 without a card or senior discounts. Oh and if you look at the image that says surf and turf it didnt have most of that stuff it was so not surf and turf So, I'll let you know how it goes with lots of pics and comments. Surf and Turf is clams, fried chicken, Asian section, prime rib, fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and more. Oh before I forget you now have to get your drinks too, which means it's easier to tip. I'm not sure how this staff can't stay caught up with the customers if all their doing is clearing tables. Clear as you walk by a table and it makes it so much easier when the client leaves. Waiting tables 101! Hmmmm I get it it's a buffet and the chicken was dry so have a soda pop ready to wash it down. The salmon was like jerky not my thing. The clams unfortunately out of 10 only 3 had meat, the shrimp was okay if you like breading, and the prime rib was killed and chewwwwYy! Not the best experience and it seems to be getting worse everytime we come and for that price come on... they need to go check buffets in Las Vegas that charge these prices.
Went tonight and was expecting seafood buffet as advertised on billboards and on their ticket redemption machines. Discovered they stopped this on Saturdays. The food we had wasn't terrible but when I get worked up for some crab legs only to be told there aren't any was a disappointment.
It's ok service and the staff is not very friendly and I had the cashier tell me that she did believe my kids where twelve and basically call me a lair. And after I said to the "manager " she kind of blow me off and then cashier as I was leaving told me that I should start carrying there birth certificates. Really is that how your employees treat customers. Will not be back. EVER. I want to give negative stars but you can not.
After reading the mixed reviews, we dicided we had to give this place a try and we're glad we did! The food is excellent and the selection is good, although there could be a few more items. Still, the food was good quality, well prepared and at $9.99 (w/ Player card) it's a bargain. The service was excellent and everything was clean with the exception of the serving area's around some dishes where slopppy customers dropped stuff. Oddly, the staff would walk up to it with a towel, smear it back and forth and walk away and blindly leave most of it still there. This is only a minor gripe though. For the most part, everyhting was fine. The dessert bar alone is worth the $10 fee. It is the best I have ever seen at a buffet. Seriously, they have EVERY kind of pie plus cookies, ice cream, etc.
Food is always fresh & staff is helpful, customer oriented, & always smiling.
This place used to be my go-to for seafood. They’ve got signs all up and down I-5 advertising “Seafood Buffet Friday & Saturday” but when I arrived today (Saturday) it’s “Surf and Turf” which is apparently some steamed clams and breaded fish with some poorly cooked prime rib... Definitely not worth the price they charge; it used to be well worth the price but not anymore.. They keep spending money on upgrading the place to look nice, but it looked fine before the most recent remodel. They made the buffet much smaller and also lost a lot of quality with the food. Hopefully whoever manages this place comes to their senses about this place being pretty vs having actually good food.
You could go pay $100 bucks for just all you can eat crab at a seafood restaurant or you can have fresh dungeness all you can eat with other buffet options for under $30. The crab is fresh! The other food is decent but I give 5 star for the all you can eat crab!
Don't eat here it is dirty and not very sanitary especially in the dessert station.
Overcooked, tough food.
Grandkids love the Buffett
Please Please Please bring back the previous oysters!!! The new ones are nasty.
When we first started going to the buffet at the Casino it was good. I don’t know what has happened but now it’s horrible. The selection is dismal, the seafood night is a waste of money and time. I can get past not having the best food, it is a buffet, but the service is atrocious! Everyone looks pissed and unhappy, like it’s an inconvenience that you are there. And the manger is a waste of space, he doesn’t know how to lead a team. He stood there and watch us accidentally spill a drink and never sent anyone to clean it up or help us. Our server was of no help either. Save yourself time and money. The Cow Creek restaurant and KBar are much better.
The food variety and quality was very good and so was the service.
