Not good. Greecy. Tasty, but greecy for Korean
The menu is small but the food that they do have available is really good! I love their japchae.
The hand pulled noodles (spicy) are really good. Plenty of veggies and flavor.
This is the famous du kuh bee that just opened in the Hollywood! The first location is in Beaverton. Soooo good!
Good fast casual Korean known for their hand pulled noodles. Medium spicy was perfect...as in plenty hot. The noodles have lots of flavor and the texture and chewiness were perfect.
Awesome friendly local gem. Their hand-pulled noodles are amazing. The bulgogi is pretty great as well.
Healthy, delicious, quick, and friendly service!
Excellent chicken bulgogi.
I've been wanting to try this place but they close early (imo) so I would always miss them for dinner but got the chance and I'm glad I did. I really like Korean food and this place has pretty high ratings so I was excited to try them out. Initial thoughts was that the place was cozy aka not that big. Just a couple of seats, the counter and the kitchen behind it. But it seemed clean and I received a warm welcome when I entered which was nice. The first thing I noticed was that the menu seemed a little lights on choices. First thing that caught my eye was the kimchi rice but getting it with Bulgogi want an option on the menu. Then I saw building on the menu but then no way to order the kimchi rice as a side. That's really what I wanted, a dish that had that rice and I wanted building so I figured what the heck, let me inquire if they hook this up. The girl talking my order was really nice and went back to ask the cook and came back with a yes! Man I was stoked!! Food was ready in ten minutes too! Man that was quick! Got it to go and when I got home like 20 min later the food was still very warm. That was awesome! Food turned out to be really good. I will definitely be back b/c those wings looked bomb as did the Bulgogi fries!!!!
My favorite is the Hand Pulled Noodle Perfection, Flavorful, Made with heart Yummy Yummy food ^^ Highly Recommended
The noodles and the wings which were recommended were absolutely amazing. I loved every bite of both. The bibimpap was OK but not very exciting.
It's soooooooooooooo gooood
Ordered Beef Japchae. Delicious!! Wish I were here with a larger group to try other items.
Gave Bulgogi a 5 star review about a year ago. Thought I should update and clarify. Update first... a few months ago they brought in hand pulled noodles. The noodle dishes are great (though even the low level of "spicy" has a good bite to it so get the noodles without spice if you are sensitive). The gentleman makes the noodles right up at the front and you can watch him work which is fun. Clarification next...Bulgogi is a small friendly Korean restaurant with a very authentic taste. The prices are reasonable, but more than that, the food is made well. Too many restaurants in this area are trying to cut corners on food quality to make more money. The Bulgogi delivers on good quality delicious foods!
VERY friendly service every time. Large portions, delicious food. Cozy definitely rings true if you're eating in. If your in the mood for food, you won't be disappointed.
Great owners and cooks. The food was excellent!
Was looking for really great Korean food to remind me of mym time in South Korea and was not disappointed. Amazing and friendly service to match the cuisine. Can't wait to go back!
Delicious!
No subsitutions & no need for them. Limited menu & classic options. Certainly a good place to try if you like Korean food. Prices were good, smaller portions than I prefer, kinda soupy & not as flavorful as I like.. but still definitely a good place.
Great Korean food made with pride and good ingredients. Very friendly service, too.
I love the food here! So did my little one! I had a rice dish & gyoza! The sauces they make are so tasty! I will definitely go back!
The chicken japchae and bibimbop were both delicious! Will have to come back to try the signature wheat noodle dish
Mixed feelings about the place. Kimchi dumpling filling was not fresh and tasted off. Told owner and the response was undoubtedly unapologetic: “I ran the place for four years and no one said that.” Dukuhbee noodles were great though, so maybe stick with those.
Absolutely wonderful. Everything was very tasty and a good value. Staff was very friendly.
Wow. Affordable. DELICIOUS. Yummy. Highly recommend. Wow
Fresh hand pulled noodles! The food here is incredibly good! Have the special noodles and try the Kimchi pot sticker... seriously addicting!
Great food and all made by hand. If you go in early enough you can watch the Chef make the noodles. Try the wings for a sweet and spicy surprise. I am addicted to this amazing place and food.
Went here because my mom said you want to try this new Korean place? Little did I know that this is the second iteration of my favorite restaurant in Beaverton! The servers were very friendly and the food was great, just like Du Kuh Bee! The menu is a little different, and the mandu are fried, not steamed, but I really enjoyed my meal. My one reservation is it's in a space where places have historically not done well. I hope people will come and give it a chance!
Amazing Korean Fusion!
Very delicious food. Good customer service.
Ordered online. Food was good, and got to me quickly.
I ordered the tofu Gooksu, and it was SO delicious. I'm so glad my mum and I stopped by and tried it. Lots of veggies and spicy sauce
Love this place! The bulgogi fries are amazing!
First time here, very friendly and the Bibimbap was very good, I got it with double meat. I’ll definitely be back to try some other items.
Friendly customer service. Food was good. Simple decor. Service was fast. Had a great first time experience. Simple picture menus and the food was served just like the pictures.
The service was nice and friendly, the prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were good, but the food was just OK. I ordered the Dukuhbee Noodles with tofu and my wife had the Bibimbap with beef. We didn't dislike the food, but with so many other Korean options around, it didn't feel like it was good enough that we need to go back.
It's very rarely that I ever give someone the props that displays has is it finished most nicest people you can want working for you you're eager to help you and serve you in any way they can the food is really good it's not expensive and it's cooked by top-notch Cooks good family-orientated good job guys
This place is easy to miss when driving by, but im glad I stopped in after seeing a movie at Hollywood. The noodles are hand pulled as advertised. I even watched the chef in the act while there. The menu is small, but I feel this is the sign of a great restaurant. Nothing fancy, but definitely worth it.
I’m not a Korean food expert but if you just want the basics, large portions, at a good price with lots of flavor, this is a good choice. Yum.
The noodles were outstanding! Limited menu, but everything we had was delicious. Service was good, too. I'll definitely be going back.
tasty, fast & friendly but very limited menu, maybe a dozen items total. reasonable prices although portions are smaller than normal korean as there are no banchan (side dishes)
This place is amazing! Hand pulled noodles and fresh ingredients! Not only that the owners are very friendly. Must if you like Korean food
SO SO freaking good. The owner will sometimes come out and pull homemade noodles in front of clients, it’s amazing to watch! Glad a bit of Dukuhbee is on the east side :D
This place is awesome!! I had their pulled noodles (which they are making infront of your eyes) with shrimp. I ordered mild and it was the right spice, and their was enough shrimp to enjoy my whole meal. Very tasty !
This place is awesome and you get a higher portion at a good price.
This place is awesome! The food is so good and the people are very nice! Get the noodles. I got beef and spicy level and it was perfect
This is honestly one of the most delicious places in Portland, but super low key at the same time. Portions are generous enough to share or to have leftovers. Customer service is great and the menu is reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity of the food. Highly recommended.
Sample size: one visit on a weekday evening. ordered bulgogi beef Service: food served within 5 minutes Food: beef was tough and I didn't find the flavor to be delightful. Sides included rice, salad, and an orange slice. $12 seemed high for the quantity, quality, and cost of ingredients. Reviewer: I enjoyed bulgogi at Nakwan in Beaverton and at a place in Southern China. Both were similar and delightful, and included kimchi and pickled vegetables. I'm a little confused why there are so many positive reviews. Maybe I caught them while someone was on vacation?
Great new Korean place. Good service and great food. Our waiter explained how they make their eggs in the traditional Korean fashion into small slices - wonderful taste and texture. They also use organic chicken and pork. Good quality.
Amazing food and huge portions.
A surprisingly good korean restaurant disguised as a mini-mall looking hole in the wall. All items we ordered were excellent flavor and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, their hours are quite limited in the evening.
very cute little restaurant! the food was delicious!
Yum! My favorite place for asian hand-pulled noodles. They have a limited menu but everything is good. Korean bulgogi and Kimchi rice. But the noodle dish is the best. Service is minimal but friendly and good. Self-service water and takeout boxes. Pay when you order and find your own seat. There is limited seating but ut has never been crowded when I have eaten there. Pro tip: there is parking in the back of the restaurant by the Dollar Tree and you can enter by the back door.
Friendly staff, medium flavor. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing.
The noodles are the highlight. Small menu. Not your traditional Korean dishes. Still some tasty variations that will be sure to please.
Great service, brought us complimentary soup and tea while waiting for a take out order. Food was very tasty as well. Definitely planning on coming back.
This is New Menu. Hand pulled noodle (Du Kuh Bee) is awesome. Personally My Favorite one is this. It is incredibe.. Come and Try..You will not Regret.. Most of all I have digest issue with normal Noodle.. But This noodle is really different .. Just want to say Thumb Up. You have one choice how you like spice No Spice Mild Medium Spice with Beef, Pork, Chicken, and tofu.. Someday Probably Shrimp.. I also like Bibim Bab It Is based on Korean recipe Manrinade Meat , lots of vegitable and meat. The Bulgogi is also good ... Seoul Wing ..I recommend Too
Supremely delicious food and super nice staff! I'm excited to go back!
Best chicken wings I've ever had. fantastic noodles and great service.
Ok
The Bibimbap was really good. Kimchee and other small appetizers are separate from the meal which seemed unusual. Service was fast and friendly.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Delicious, flavorful food with fresh vegetables and well-seasoned meats, and the house-made noodles are great.
Got their wheat noodles and it was really good! A friend got the beef bibimbap and it was good but alittle too sweet for my taste but would definitely recommend this place to a friend!!
We went once randomly and for the next 3 months I craved the namesake noodles. SO GOOD and reasonably priced
Excellent food. Not much in the way of atmosphere. Just simple and straightforward. But the food’s the star. And the counter service is friendly and accommodating. Try the noodles. Out of this world.
Great tasting food.
Love the food, for very Basic Lunch. I wanted half of an order of pot stickers they said no... Customer service is just OK.
Love this place! Both the Bulgogi and the Bi Bim Bap are amazing. I prefer it with noodles, my wife likes the rice. Portions are huge, service is fast and friendly and the ingredients are all fresh and tasty.
Hand made noodles are great!
We stopped by here randomly and it was empty. However, five minutes after we arrived it was packed. This place is so tasty, fresh and the people are soooo kind! Cannot wait to be back!
Excellent place. Fresh hand made noodles
Rated for what it is - casual counter service, with a limited menu, but excellent at what they do. We have had the bi-bim-bap, which is a generous portion with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of spice. This time we went for the Bulgogi. I had the extra spicy pork, my wife the chicken. They serve in a lacquered bento-style plate (see photo) and like the bi-bim-bap, the ingredients are very fresh. Extra spicy was just exciting enough for my jaded palate, and both the pork and chicken were tender. The only thing I can say was not perfect was the sticky rice was a little tough on the bottom. If you need a quick bite of fresh, spicy food (or go non spicy) this is recommended.
This place is great. Good food, very friendly staff. Clean, bright and warm atmosphere. Everything is delicious.
This is my favorite spot to eat korean food as a korean
Their fried rice is amazing
Fabulous noodles!
Food was ok served hot and as pictured. Lunch and entertainment, home pulled noodles made on site while we were dining.
Very delicious. If you enjoy Korean cuisine this restaurant is a must
Ooooooooo yeah, get the blugogi fries, you will be glad you did, unless ur veg/vegan.
Will definitely go back! Quick, tasty food.
This may be our goto Korean choice! The food is bright and fresh and perfectly seasoned! We had the Wings and the Kimchi Bacon Bibimbap. Staff was so friendly and welcoming as well as encouraging to help everyone understand the best ways to try Korean. If you have not had a lot of experience with Korean food, this is a great starting place!
It might not look like much from the outside, but one taste of the food, and you'll be glad you gave it a chance. Everything always tastes fresh. Dishes are plentiful, and not at all spendy. Parking in the back!
One of my favorite restaurants but currently closed for remodel with no dates posted for reopening
A tasty introduction to Korean cuisine. Try their Bibinbap or Bulgogi fried rice. Reasonably priced.
This is my favorite restraunt in the area. The food is really good and the employees are very friendly. I have only tried a couple things on the menu but I recommend the beef bibimbap.
Seoul wings and bulgogi fries were ON POINT.
Pretty decent and cheap.
Excellent noodles. Unassuming atmosphere. Korean comfort food that fills the soul
Love this place! Very friendly staff, quick service, great food!
I texted my mom and asked... "Mom, why you never put bacon in my kimchi fried rice??" Actual Korean person here, the food here is great! Slightly adapted for American palates but I have no problem with it whatsoever. 10/10 would eat there again (just ordered pickup)
Great lunch place. Guy behind the counter is super friendly. Smaller menu but all the Korean standards.
Easily some of the best wings in in the city
We ordered the beef bulgogi. The serving size was reasonable but it was a bit heavy on the sauce which was a bit salty. It would have been nice to be served kimchi with our meal. The menu selection is rather limited.
Favorite set meal style Korean lunch: Big portions, deliciously sweet & spicy, great salad dressing too!
The food is flavorful and much less expensive than most Korean restaurants. Q
Great food and super friendly service.
Excellent place to and Traditional Korean food.
We've loved the food and service here since they opened. Great new menu items recently... Love the spicy du kuh bee noodles!! Great value.
The meal was delicious and the portions were generous, the service was excellent and personable as well.
We enjoyed their specialty: the handmade Du Kuh Bee noodles. The bibimbap was also excellent.
Limited menu and casual place but excellent quality. The bibimbop bowls were awesome with a great selection of veggies and large portion. And the du kuh bee noodles were spicy and made perfectly. Will be going back regularly to get my noodle fix.
The restuarant was very clean. Food came fairly quickly for hand made food. It was so good. I highly recommend this place.
If you're lucky enough to go on a day they make their fresh hand pulled noodles, get them!! You will not be disappointed. Also recommend the kimchi fried rice! My only qualm is that they don't have a kimchi stew in the menu, which is my favorite Korean staple.
Very friendly also food was very good enjoyed each bite. love it!!!!
Really great hand pulled noodles. Ask for them to be spicy if you're feeling brave!
Great food at a low price. And the workers are fantastic!
Great food, house-made noodles, and great owners.
Delicious bulgogi, friendly service, good portion for the price. Casual but comfortable place.
I love this place! I come here every time I visit Portland. The menu is simple, almost like a food cart. The price is good for the portion size, although those who bring a big dinner appetite should also order appetizers or sides. The noodles are made by hand in front of you, and the grill is about 10 feet behind that. The food comes out very got, then you sauce to your own preference. If you order bibimbap they even give you instructions in how to eat it! Free parking in the rear also makes this restaurant very convenient.
Best fusion Korean food. I did not expect taste like this good. 10/10. Update.. New ownership and food. Same taste. Try wings and bibimbop.
Fresh, delicious & flavorful food! Really nice staff! I can't wait to go back!
We don't seem to honor food enough. But this place does them justice! Order at the counter, then, if you haven't already picked out a seat yet...pick a seat! It's kinda funny that they don't eat their food, but it makes sense. Maybe because their food is too precious and they need to sell them in order to make a living, they eat instant noodles instead! I've seen places where they eat their own stuff like they have to because it's there. And I guess that's okay too. Just as long as the water refills are self-serve and I can have all the water I want!
Pretty good but spendy! One lunch is 13.00
Had their hand stretched noodles w/pork and it was really delicious! I asked for 'spicy' and it was the perfect level for me, super tasty and flavorful. I will definitely go back. Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked really good.
Very good food!
Friendly and reasonable priced. Not very exciting food for Korean, but good enough.
Really good hand pulled noodles and I would recommend everything on the menu at least once
Great flavor! The meat in both the bulgogi and the bibimbab were great! Nice char flavor and tasty marinade. Good price for what you get as well. Will return!
Chicken wings, bi bim bop very fresh, excellent flavor, little low key place with fresh pulled noodles so delicious. The folks who run it are very nice.
Such an amazing place. The people here are incredibly nice. Walking in, you see somebody hand making the noodles for the dishes. Amazing. All I have to say is that the food was phenomenal, and that I loved the place! I would highly recommend stopping by for an incredible meal.
Decor is a bit run-down, but the food was amazing. I had a Bulgogi fried rice bowl and my GF had the Bulgogi plate. Both were excellent and had large portion sizes. They have two sauces, one regular and one spicy. I'm not sure exactly what it was made from (some sort of garlic/soy sauce), but both were great additions to my fried rice.
Great bibimbap. Seriously. It isn't easy to get in Portland.
Love the Japchae. Don't think I have seen it in the menu at the other teriyaki places.
Good vibe outdoor seating. Flavors are outstanding.
Great take on Korean bulgogi. The flavors are a great mix between authentic Korean and American food truck. It is an interesting combination and definitely one to try. Delicious.
Really good hand-pulled noodles. A bit pricy at $13 for a dish of noodles
Took my mom for dinner All We can say is wow. The restaurant was delicious and very authentic. We were amazed. The place was beautifully decorated and we were seated immediately. It brought me back to my visit to korea with my mom. We ordered fried rice and noodle Let's just say that my mom loved noodle The meat was cooked perfectly. So good. I was so happy to know here
Excellent addition of the noodles. Great food, Great people!
