Excellent food choices. Staff is friendly and attentive. We had the fish n chips and we were not disappointed. Great rock fish is unusual for this area because cod is cheap but this place makes rock fish yummy. We will go back again.

Lovely view...food very expensive and mediocre. Happy Hour should he served anywhere to draw more clientele as drinks look interesting and happ hour food looks reasonably priced. Please remove pots from steps...dangerous for the disabled and elderly. No diasabled emtry but does have disabled parking-go figure

I popped in for dinner one evening while on a business trip. The food was good but the service was even better. I had their special for the evening and it was tasty. I sat in the bar and the bartender kept my glass full. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The food was pretty amazing, service was kind and expedient. Definitely one of the better prime ribs I have eaten. Don't get the shrimp addition to the prime rib, it's expensive for such a small amount of shrimp.

Had a bad experience here once before but really love the view so I thought I'd give it another chance, bad idea. I ordered the fish and chips which they hand dip in house which I thought was great but unfortunately the batter was super thick and when you bit into it there was raw batter on the inside. They were nice enough to replace it with something else I ordered a French dip and it was less than mediocre the meat on it was very dry and tough the bread was untoasted very boring sandwich.

The food was pretty good, but would've been spot on had the vegetables not come to the table cold. I went in with a group of four for Mother's day and was initially impressed with attentive staff, until we placed our order. Appetizers took forever. Then we had to ask for silverware. 30 minutes later we received them. Another 20 minutes we finally get our food and everyone at the table had cold steamed vegetables. Other than that the food is usually good.

Great view of the Clackamas River from any seat in the restaurant. Good menu choices. Both fish & chips dishes (halibut or cod) are good. Nice, crispy French fries. Exceptional service. Lunch hour can be busy. For a quieter, more leisurely lunch, go after 2.

The food is good with moderate prices. The restaurant is small with a nice patio. Parking is limited. There is a very tall thin man working there who just sort of critically stares but says nothing. I would have given 4 stars but this individual does make dining uncomfortable.

Good but not quite great. I had a voucher from staying at Best Western that's attached to it. They seemed understaffed as no one was there to seat me even though it wasn't that busy. I ordered Steak and Eggs but they were out of steak, which seems odd at a bar and GRILL. So I just got a breakfast sandwich which was exactly the amount as the voucher. Luckily it came with country potatoes which wasn't mentioned on the menu. It's hard for me to get too excited about average breakfast fair like eggs, toast, etc. It was cooked alright but pricey if it wasn't for the voucher. The view is good, if it's nice enough to sit outside. Otherwise you can't really enjoy it. The waitress was really courteous even while being overworked so I left her a good tip. I would have probably rated it higher of I could have had the steak and if the menu was a bit more informational. Hard to judge a grill on grilling without the mid rare steak and over med egg test.

This place rocks! Great experience on the deck with a view of the river. My wife was impressed and my kids had a good time with us. Michael was great, he made us laugh and made us feel welcomed, our server was very polite and attentive. The food alone is worth coming but it's the staff that complete the experience. The waitress was the only great thing about this place aside from the river view. They have very little gluten free food, not even bread. So for those with celiac this isn't a great choice. And, super weak drinks. We ordered double bloody Mary's and they barely taste like singles. When we asked about it they didn't offer to make it right like any other brunch spot would. With as much bar/brunch competition as there is? Well, we won't waste our time.

I’ve stayed at the connect hotel a few times in my visits to Portland. This restaurant is incredibly under-rated. I know everyone says the food and drink are good hear, but I’m shocked this place isn’t packed mon-fri. The views are nothing amazing, but you do get a good view of the river. Good friendly feel. Well rounded menu. I feel as comfortable just dropping in for a casual lunch, as I do planning a nice dinner here. I’m not sure how they managed it, but this place is built for everyone. Worth the visit. Prices are in the low teens mostly.

Beautiful view, had good reviews so we thought we'd give it a go. Well not again, our server was very friendly but service was slow. Food was hot when it can out but I dont think very fresh. I ordered the stuffed salmon which was extremely fishy tasting. My husband got the halibut fish and chips which had no flavor at all and couldnt finish eating it due to the batter that was gross. His beer was good but my mixed drink was awful, the river shore rush, sounded amazing. After and $85 bill I was extremely disappointed because the reviews were really good.

I really want to like this place more, but the food is a big let down. Beautiful view, nice staff, looks recently remodeled, plenty of outdoor seating. But the food is a huge let down. Institutional, bland, over cooked, greasy. It is tragic mismanagement. Theres no real competition around it for location, just bring in some quality food and it would be great.

Breakfast is a little light for the price. Dinner is also a little high for what's on the plate. But lunch? That's the move. Good little lunch spot. Bar next door hasn't filled up yet, staff is friendly, views are great. That's a lunch.

We went to the restaurant, separated from the lively bar enough to be a more quiet and softer area. The food was tasty and prepared as ordered. Substitutions were accepted with grace. Service is generous, prompt and kind. Atmosphere is romantic. There are views of the river from large glass windows. We will return!

Good food. Beware of no A/C in the restaurant. Service in bar was great. Wine is pretty expensive. Nice menu. Fish and chips are the best around. Stay away from seafood pasta, sauce is like glue. Didn’t try other pasta dishes but to be fair, this isn’t an Italian restaurant.

The service that we receive from Hayley (the bartender) is always exceptional. The food is typically pretty good, but the Firecracker chicken rolls are super legit. Karaoke space is limited, but it doesn't take away from the experience.

When riverfront meets cheapskate. I Ordered a Salmon Cesar Salad and clam chowder. Soup tasted like watered down potato soup. It was really bad. The waitress spilled my soup as she came out and didn’t seem to care about it. The Salad was brought out & had no dressing on it. It was date night. I’m really bummed we wasted our time and funds here. We will not be back.

Our first time here on Feb 6. Came for lunch with a view on a nice cold, sunny day. View of Willamette River, albeit over the frontage road and park. Attached to Best Western motel. Service and food both very good. Medium price range. Ample portions... we had soup and BLT sandwich and turkey croissant sandwich. Needed a box to take home left overs. By the way, the clam chowder was very good. Lots of clams in it. We recommend this place and will return.

I wish I could leave no stars! 12 years I have been coming here on and off sporadically and EVERY SINGLE TIME the service is absolutely horrible. 20 minutes an no server, no drink order. Who knows if it will be an hour or an hour and a half before you get food if at all. So unfortunate that a restaurant/bar in such a great location with a nice view would have such nonexistent customer service.

I usually love this restaurant. My fiancee and I came in on Sunday evening and ordered cajun pasta alfredo with shrimp which i asked them to blacken. The bartender said we grill it and I said thats fine. I ordered the Half pound rivershore burger and asked for lettuce wrap. We literally waitied 57 mintues and it still was not there and I asked for it to go. 15 minutes later it came out and we picked up our kids down the road and headed home. We got home and lettuce wrapped means they remove the bun and leave the one piece of lettuce of on top of the burger-Charbroiled to charcoal and two pieces of lettuce on top. I threw away and made myself a burger at home. My fiancee tasted her pasta which tasted like ragu alfredo with a few microwaved shrimp in it. I heated a pan with butter, garlic, pepper flakes, cayenne, cream and parmesan and tossed her pasta in eat to make it edible. IF you call this bland cream sauce with five little shrimp and black pepper in it, cajun pasta you are out of your mind. It literally took me only fifteen minutes to cook a respectable sauce and toss your sub par pasta in it to cajun it up. I am appalled at this restaurant that is not better than the golden arches across the street but can charge $50 for two meals that were kindergarten caliber at best dinners. I am tired of spending hard earned money to take her out for something I could have done better at home for a fraction of the price. I usually don't post about things, but this was honestly terrible. Will not go back her for sub fast food quality and service. Consider a loyal client and someone who brings my business clients here done with this establishment.

Maybe just my unfortunate luck, but I got food poisoning. I thought someone failed to show up, but they said no. Only two servers plus manager serving, so no service. Finally got host to refill tea. Waitress was literally jogging through restaurant and up steps to try and serve people. Food poisoning might be because short staffed in kitchen too and no time to clean properly. Our salad was warm but dressing cold. We were told local favorite. We had coupons for $14 off breakfast but no way after being sick from dinner.

Nice little place overlooking the Willamette river. The service was pretty awesome. We were helped by three people total. Each team member was polite and smiled, genuinely asked how they could serve us. The steak and blackened halibut salads we tasty and as we expected. Pricing is fair and well worth the money. We are local and will be returning.

I would have gladly gave it a shot. Says they open at seven it is 7:15 doors locked tighter than a drum. One of the cooks even walked in the door 5 minutes ago and gave me a Blank Stare. At my Hotel open for dinner food was good. Wait staff friendly.
