My husband and I shared our 8th Anniversary at the Peerless. It was our first time there. It seemed like a slow night so we decided to be adventuresome and asked our waiter (Thomas) if he would be up for surprising us with a multi course meal of his & the chefs choosing, and he was game. Every dish was amazing! A few of them we would have never ordered ourselves and they were the best of the bunch. Thomas was attentive and very personable. We will be coming back!

Loved the dining experience! My family and I started out with appetizers and cocktails which were fresh and nothing short of impressive. We started out with the Ahi Poke and the Pork Buns with a lavender cocktail and a like Manhattan drink, no complaints at all. Main courses included shrimp, pork chop, and dry (sauteed) ramen. Dessert was fantastic! Carrot cake, chocolate tart, and lemon meringue. Overall, a treat and will return!

Good but not great food. Flatbread, all sorts of stuff but bread base wasn't very good. Flat iron, disappointing - quantity, quality, taste & presentation all lacking. Salad was petite. Plus was the outdoor dining space was a great layout. Otherwise might have gone to 2 stars.

First time at Peerless tonight for a work event. The atmosphere,service and staff were exceptional. I have strict dietary needs and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate. If you want 5 star dinning in Ashland look no further than the food, service and staff at Peerless.

Everything I expected,plus more, excellent food outstanding Bartender and Server( Quinn C ) don't know the bartenders name but makes an excellent Sazerac Truly Peerless. Parking is terrible in Ashland that's my only complaint. And is a little pricey but I knew that before we went. We will be back soon. Thanks for a great Evening and Dinner.

Words cannot describe our gratitude! We stayed 2 nights in Ashland to go Enduro riding and where longing for something more upscale, despite we carried no formal wardrobe in our duffel bags. The staff at Peerless was incredible friendly, comforting, very attentive, knowledgeable and well trained. The Wine and Cocktail List was outstanding and we loved watching the Bartender preparing every drink with such precision. The food was extraordinary! I have dined at many 2 & 3 Michelin Star restaurants and this place can easily live up to those standards. Absolutely flawless, Thank you for having us!

We went to Peerless Restaurant in October 2019, for an anniversary dinner. The food was delicious, and the inside of the restaurant was lovely (the front facade of the building isn't anything special, so we were pleasantly surprised at the lovely dining rooms). The service was very special as well -- caring and knowledgeable waiter. When the chef heard it was our anniversary, he treated us to champagne and dessert. Wow!

We've been twice and both times had excellent food and drinks with great service. We prefer ordering a lot of smaller plates instead of entrées and they ave been delicious. I had the Pinkerton (rye whiskey) which is very drinkable. Then we ended with a sundae and scotch which was a fabulous blend of too shelf taste and childishness that it capped off the evening perfectly

Had a mellow contemporary vibe. The hostess wouldn't speak to or look at my girlfriend which we found odd, but the waiter was very friendly and accommodating. My cocktail was perfect, and steak even more so! Definitely recommend.

A gorgeous day to enjoy dinner on the patio. We had the Kahlua pork bun for an appetizer, the Marlin special and risotto plates for entrees and they excellent. The real pleasure of the evening was dessert though, we tried the peas and carrots cake and the chamomile ice cream cake. These two artistic treats we're not only clever flavor combinations, expertly plated, but some of the best dessert flavors we have tastes. A must visit in a foodie town rich with delicious options.

We visited from out of town and had an amazing Valentine's dinner! Exactly what we hoped for! Perfect date night! We felt as if we were special guests from host to bartenders to waitress and the table busser! Of course thank you to the chef and cook's as the food was amazing!

This is perhaps one of the best formal restaurants in the valley. The food is locally sourced and delicious. The menu always has something new seasonal. Service is superb with quick knowledgeable wait staff. The chef prepared dishes to perfection and pushes limits with ingredients. The cocktails and wine are excellent and also local when possible. Prices are as expected for premium date night accommodations.

I took my wife here for her birthday and the outdoor seating was gorgeous. We both enjoyed the meal and I was pleasantly surprised by the offering of CBD tincture in mixed drinks... that was very novel in my mind. A bit pricey but not a fitting choice for a special event.

On July 9th, we had an after wedding dinner celebration at the Peerless. Harlan Brooks the executive chef, made magic with his food. Simply fine dining. Bridgette, one of our servers was fantastic and took care of all 35 of us with love and spoiled us. All the kitchen staff, all the servers were on top of their game, like every day. OMG! Thanksgiving at Peerless Restaurant & Bar was utterly remarkable - one major taste sensation after another and beautiful presentation too. I'd give my right arm (well, not really) to know how the turkey was prepared - it was the most tender, most flavorful, most totally delicious Turkey I have tasted. Ever! And believe it or not, even more remarkable was the Wild Chanterelle Bread Pudding. It was to die for. I have literally not experienced anything so out-of-this-world delicious in my entire life! Obviously, the food was the highlight, but there is more - the environment was wonderfully intimate and friendly. And the service was extraordinaire!

I felt like I was a bother as the server approach. My husband was exually disappointed in the service. I would never go back even though the food was quite good. I was hoping for a fine dining experience and I had very little expectations of the rushed almost rude service from the server.

My review is mixed. On the positive side, the food was uniformly outstanding. Everything was impeccably prepared and presented, the balance of flavor was perfect, and the fish was done beautifully. Dinner was paced a bit quickly but not too much so, and given that so many diners are heading to a play afterwards it's to be expected. On the downside, the service details were poor. I brought an old Bordeaux and asked to have it decanted. The server bubble decanted it which threw all of the sediment back into the wine. The flowers on the table were so old they weren't only wilted but were beginning to rot. Looking around at the other tables showed the same. So, bottom line, the food is exceptional but the front of the house falls short, at least in my experience this evening.
