The food here is spectacular, so much flavor in everything. It’s a small sushi restaurant with a bar section separated by a wall. The staff is very friendly, and the service is insanely fast. With two appetizers and four rolls of sushi, my husband and I were in and out in less than 45 minutes.

I've tried sushi in many different places and this is one of if not THE BEST places ever!!! The service is very friendly, there's a wide variety of sushi (and a few things for those that don't like sushi-I've heard the hamburger is incredible). They're AWESOME with gluten free stuff, in fact it's the only place I've found so far that offers GLUTEN FREE TEMPURA!! Woo hoo!!! Their desserts are also lovely and the lemonade is spot on. I've been back over and over again and I'm just going to keep coming back. If you like sushi, you've gotta try this place!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The service was good, the sushi was great, and the prices were pretty good. Edamame had too much salt but that was easily scraped off. Miso soup was impressively hot. The best part was that their menu had raw dishes specially marked, which is sadly rare on sushi menus. Definitely worth a visit.

The staff is friendly. I ordered the Big Spider and two hand rolls to go. The Big Spider tasted great. The Chetco hand roll was very tasty. The Salmon Skin hand roll was good as well. I come down here often and plan on stopping by to eat here again.

Best meal in Brookings! If you would like a fresh tastey meal of the best seafood I've had in Brookings then check out Pacific Sushi! Sarah our server was the best! And Alexis at the bar is mixing up some awesome drinks! My wife said her hanger steak was one of the best she has had, and my redwood roll was so fresh I swear the tuna was trying to swim in my mouth! And dont forget the dessert!

The sushi was good I tried the smoked salmon and one other thing, it's been a week since I've gone there, the wait wasn't bad, it had a good turnout the night my sister, her husband and I went out. That waiter could have been in a better mood while serving us, otherwise I would have given them a five star. I wouldn't mind going back and trying something else off the menu, they have a good selection to choose from.

Pros: Nice atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. My wife and I tried four of their specialty rolls and sake sampler, all of which were top notch. Cons: There are only a few dining tables, so there is often a wait. If you have the time the food is definitely worth it.

------I just ate the best burger in southern Oregon. Anyone who is familiar with the mostly remote southern coastline of Oregon will tell you it is not exactly a food-lover’s dream location. It is filled with B-grade diners serving mediocre burgers in dreary settings. They are all the same to. They have overbearing almost roll-like buns. The patties that are still frozen from the drive home from cash and carry. This comes along with a sloppy garden section and an improper bun-meat-veg ratio. You eat it because you know there’s not much else and you decide to frequent the place that soaks the bun in butter, so you at least don’t taste the garbage you’re being fed… Today, for the first time in a long time, I ate a real burger that was made by a craftsman. I acquired it at a local spot known for its sushi. After browsing the unique and impressive sushi menu, I noticed they served a Kobe beef burger with a slice of Tillamook. I ordered it and they said it would be 20 min. In exactly 20 min, I received my order, and there it was. A generous serving of the most tender, tantalizing beef hand-pressed into a perfect patty. Its top adorned with a fully melted thick cut slice of Northwest cheese. The garden section was perfect. A thin (not too thin) slice of eye-watering red onion, a slab of crisp green lettuce and vine-ripened tomato. Each flavor only complimented the meat, not a single one stood out or overpowered it. The slice of what I consider Oregon’s finest and most flavorful cheese complimented the perfectly-seasoned meat and together made a creation any artist would be proud of. The bun had grill lines and was warm. Slight crisp, but not firm or dry. It wasn’t covered in butter either. It was not an overbearing, ridiculous, border-line-roll either. It was just the perfect size, not too thick and just the right texture, obviously freshly baked just for this menu item. This made the burger sleek, and it was a fitting look for a meal of this caliber. As I bit into it I couldn’t believe what I’d tasted. I wanted to put it down to call my wife, or take a picture of it, or call somebody! I could not put it down. I had to keep eating it. Each bite more flavorful than the last, my mind was ringing from sensory input overload. The fries were equally as good, and had as much time, thought, and care put into them. I found myself in a rhythm between bites of fry and burger. I could not stop for anything, I was helplessly addicted. The meat-bun-veg ratio was spot on, the textures were perfect, the meat was incredible. I could tell my fries went into the fryer the minute I ordered, they stayed warm and crisp for my entire meal. The potatoes had been meticulously cut into squares, and then cut long ways to make French fries thus making a perfectly rectangular fry. This is the same way I like to do it and it takes time. It takes a special kind of person to understand the difference it makes when you care about your ingredients and are meticulously assembling each piece perfectly. This is a level of quality and craftsmanship you will see nowhere else in southern Oregon. What was even better than the amazing flavors of the dish, was knowing there are still artists out there constantly refining their craft and pushing the limits of our taste buds. I don't like sushi; never have, never will. My wife, however, loves it. She's a sushi connoisseur. She says that their sushi is pretty decent, not the best she's ever had, but decent and worth the visit. I always order the Kobe burger, which is probably the best I've had sans cheese, sans bacon. I just want the beef. I order it on the rare side of medium rare and they do a very nice job. It's very tasty, nicely, but lightly seasoned so the nice tones of the beef come out. Barring my own, it's probably the best burger north of the CA/OR border and west of the coastal range. My real interest, on our most recent visit was this painting on the bathroom wall above the commode. I fished around in my pocket for a couple of Ben Franklins and my Tom Mix. Alas, my Tom Mix was in the car, otherwise, I'd have swapped the green backs for the painting and run out the door. I'd love to know the artist and visit the gallery which, according to the gracious owner/waitress, could be in the Bay Area.

BEST SUSHI WE HAVE EVER HAD! Pacific Sushi is our favorite place to eat when we get a chance to go out. Everything we have ever ordered has been amazing but the sushi really is the star. The fish and all other ingredients always taste so fresh and we have had almost every roll offered now. We do tend to stick to our favorites now: the Sunshine Roll and Redwood roll, in fact the waitress knows us and doesn't bother handing us menus anymore :) The staff are all excellent, the prices are very fair for the amount of food and quality, it's always clean and just a great place to grab lunch or dinner. I highly recommend stopping in the next time you visit the Brookings area!

I was with two others for the evening hour. We were seated immediately and given proper time to view the menu. An extensive menu to choose from. I had a delicious salad with bits of sashimi in a delicate dressing without overpowering the sashimi. Hints of sesame oil. I ordered the Rainbow roll. Delicious. I have been here several times and have not had any negative experiences. I recommend this establishment highly.

This was our second time to this location and love the food. We go to this restaurant every time we are in town. The sushi is fresh and portions are great for the price. The atmosphere is perfect and they do have a bar to sit at for convenience. Service was great and staff very helpful with selections. We will definitely visit this restaurant again when back in town.
