This Restaurant is included in the category of Indian restaurant.
Friendly, but rushed service. The all vegetarian dishes were flavorful and filling. I was happy to see so many vegan options on the menu. Not sure how long they've been in Portland, but it felt like things were still getting dialed in (as evidenced by the rather long introduction cards included on every table and the menu's preamble, as well as a few items on the drink menu needing updating). Everything felt just a hair overpriced (+$3) for what we got. Definitely worth a try, especially for vegans.
Amazing, home-cooked Indian food that'll keep you coming back. The space is small but cozy with a bar. The food isn't die for with authentic, well balanced flavors and not at all oily. This is what mom makes at home. The owners are passionate about what they make and it shows. The biryani is a must-try dish. Helpful and polite staff.
I eat here with my family at least once a month. The food is incredible and the staff and owner are wonderful. Out of so many choices, this is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
Authentic Indian flavors. Phenomenal service.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the Portland metro! The Tikka Masala is fantastic (get it with potato—SO good)!
really amazing vegan/vegetarian food <3 never had something there I did not enjoy.
This is a wonderful little restaurant! The food was amazing, so flavorful! The staff is friendly and attentive, great group of people. We had such a good time there, go’
This is a vegan restaurant and it’s great! Recommend arriving early because it’s very popular and gets busy.
Great food! Amazing service and atmosphere! Highly recommend eating here.
Had an excellent dinner experience here when visiting Portland. I went with my partner and his friend, a non-vegetarian chef. Everyone loved their food. Dishes are authentic, but presented in a modern way with very fresh ingredients. I was very thankful for the vegan mango lassi - a rare treat in a restaurant! I think I would be here every week if I lived nearby.
I'm not exactly a fan of Indian food but this was so good!!! The Apple avocado salad and Tikka masala were AMAZING! highly recommend
A real gem.
The best. Vegan/ Vegetarian Indian food. Southern style with the rich ghee type sauces. They do serve paneer and some other milk items. BUT the star of the show is the Vegan options. Your mind will be blown. Not to mention the great service. We had 3 to 4 different people coming to check on us. Or server Tanja was super fun and gave us the best suggestions.
Phenomenal food and dining experience. Ran by a family who was super sweet and happy to make suggestions and answer questions. The deconstructed samosa is one of The best dishes I have ever eaten! I wish they had mango ice cream but besides that it was a great time ! I would recommend it for anyone who likes Indian food.
Wonderful restaurant for vegan and vegetarian Indian food options! It's a bit small so its perfect for dates and small groups. The staff is attentive and lovely!
Fantastic food! Amazing Service! Can handle large groups!
Delicious Indian food, vegetarian options galore, and a helpful friendly staff that ensures you get the best experience possible... right in little Mount Shasta. You'll love Maruti and measure all other Indian dining experiences by what you have here.
Would highly recommend this Amazing restaurant, the food is great and the staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent!
Came on a whim and I’m so glad we did. The service was AMAZING, the food was complex and delicious, and plenty of options for dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back.
Stop reading this and go to Maturi RIGHT NOW! We love Indian food and didn't want to drive very far, so we decided to give Maturi a try since its in our neighborhood...and it turned out to be the best restaurant choice we have made in a long time. We stepped in to a welcoming atmosphere and an intoxicating smell! We decided to sit at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Falguni, the owner. She immediately asked if us we understood that Maturi is strictly a vegetarian restaurant. We did, but I appreciated the question! Along with great food we had great conversation. Falguni shared her food, spiritual, and family history with us. I learned so much about Western Indian cuisine culture, and the rational behind why the dishes are composed the way they are. If you like authentic Indian food, and are interested in learning a bit along the way, this is the place for you!
Amazing vegan options, super kind and considerate staff, and great atmosphere. Would be a cute place for a cozy date! Many plates are to share.
Came here when visiting my son and daughter in law in Portland and loved it! As a vegetarian the options were delicious and so interesting. We had to wait a bit because it was busy but they gave us some free appetizers so that more than made up for the wait. Would come back again!
This is the real deal! Indian home cooking, vegetarian and vegan and some gluten free--I'm none of those, but it was one of the best Indian meals I've had in Portland. Really great staff, wonderful owner (one of them that I met tonight). Comfortable, casual and very reasonable.
Great place for Vegan Indian Food.
Excellent food, warm and friendly service, and a bright, inviting space. They were also very understanding and accommodating of our one and a half year old.
The best Indian food I've had. I love this place. Can't go wrong with any dish. One small gripe is the mango apple salad didn't have any mango.
Delicious food!! Everything tasted so pure and good! Naans deserve special mention!!Coconut mock tail the best!! Will visit again for sure
Super yummy, nice wine, but the menu is a bit limited. (I had my heart set on something with cauliflower.) The vegan tikka masala was great!
Had such a great time! Loved the paneer kebabs that were recommended to us! The tikka masala sauce was amazinggg
The vegan Tikka Marsala is amazing! I highly recommend. The staff is lovely, very friendly and attentive. 10/10 would visit again in a heartbeat.
So good! And very friendly atmosphere. A little tight between tables, but everything else is fabulous.
Very good food but extremely expensive for the portion sizes. If the portion sizes were consistent with the price, this would be a true gem for vegan Indian food.
Good food. Great service.
I ordered the Vegetable Biriyani with mango chutney and a side of Vegan butter Naan. Having lived in SE India I have a keen sense for authentic dishes. And... Honestly, this was the best tasting meal I’ve ever had. Ever. Anywhere. The balance of flavor and texture... The first time food has ever threatened to bring a tear of joy to my eye. Thank you!
I went there towards closing and although they were busy I found a place at the counter. Got super quick service and really enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend to any of my friends
Awesome awesome!!! Flavorful, taste of home!!!
These guys are the real deal. Friendly service, owner is awesome, and the food is amazing!
A decent vegan restaurant that serve Indian food.
Thank you so much for the amazing Indian meal. We ordered a variety of dishes and they did not disappoint. So flavorful with the subtlety of spices enhancing each dish. The accent of the meal was the warmth delivered by the owners and staff. A repeat for sure!
The best Vegan Indian food you will get in Portland The food is really delicious. We tried vegan Tikka masala. It's really creamy and tastes delicious. The biryani is really well cooked. Loved it. They have Paneer Kababs occasionally as specials. Definitely try them. Paneer is nicely done. The place is small and finding parking can be difficult. Also since the place is small you might have to wait to get a table.
We were there celebrating my friend's birthday and we had an excellent time. The food was superb. The staff was cheerful, knowledgeable and more than happy to give suggestions. I had my 6 year old daughter there and she broke a glass. They cheerfully cleaned it up and made sure that my daughter didn't feel bad about the broken glass. I look forward to eating at Maruti again soon.
The place was a fabulous dining experience! The service was just amazing and they listen to all your requests. Try the Pakoras! It's delicious!
Fantastic food. Amazing cocktails.
The owner was lovely and the food was delicious.
Had a great evening eating at Maruti. The garlic naan is delicious. If you are not sure what to order, just have the waiter decide for you. You won't be dissatisfied.
Great tasting veggie-focused Indian restaurant with plenty of vegan options. Attentive staff and very reasonable food and wine prices. The samosas and mushroom briyani were delicious.
What an wonderful experience at this lovely restaurant! The food is delicious, the ambience is great and the staff and service is fantastic. The must place to eat if in Portland!!
Oh oh so good! Traditional Indian cuisine with unique flavors. Loved the chana masala and the tikka masala. Out of the hundreds of Indian restaurants I've been to it's definitely in the top five vegetarian Indian food restaurants. It has great atmosphere with amazing service. The perfect spot for a date or a casual dinner with friends and family. The whole restaurant gave off a very welcoming vibe that made the meal all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend trying it out.
Best Indian meal in Portland. Great service and atmosphere.
This place is AMAZING! The space is intimate and sweet, the owners and staff are welcoming and attentive, and the food... the food. One can tell a lot of love has gone into each dish and they are very conscious of dietary restrictions. I’ve had the pleasure of trying several dishes and they are all wonderful. The paneer tikka masala is the best I’ve ever tasted and might be slightly addicting. I’m excited to eventually try every dish on the menu and then cycle back through.
Food was delish-great service! We will be back
Most mouthwatering and savory food I've ever tasted. The staff and owners provide top notch service in a beautiful setting. I've eaten at the top Vegan restaurants in NYC, Minneapolis, Austin TX, and this is the best vegan dining experience I've ever had. I left full and more than satisfied. (The meal options were not lacking in protein)
Tikka masala was amazing!!!!! Great for vegans and people who Love Indian. The garlic naan was also to die for. People were very friendly, especially the owners.
My favorite Indian restaurant in Portland. My partner and I visit a couple times a month at least. The food is outstanding and the owners and staff are some of the friendliest, most down to earth people you could hope to meet.
this food is so delicious!! this is definitely my new go-to for Indian food, it's just a bonus that it's health-conscious :) everything was lovely- flavorful and we'll balanced. cute spot too!!
I have been eating Indian food at restaurants in Portland, Seattle, and all around the world since the early 1980's and I absolutely hands down think Maruti is the best ever. Try it out! You won't be disappointed.
Love this place. Willing to make dishes vegan. Very tasty and good service. Wish I lived nearby. I would be a regular!
5 stars for vegetarian Indian cuisine and experience. Chana masala didn’t have a ton of flavor, but the bhel puri will take you to the party. Tikka masala is actually famouz on the set of Bollywood’s hot soap opera Rangrasiya...and what’s letter than hot soap? This place delivers. I also like Indian Oven on Belmont.
Great food Indian rastrant
Sigh. Had big hopes with this place. Ate there 1st time. Delicious. Second and third time: Nope. Service is very good though. Will give it another try in a few months.
Probably the best Indian food I've eaten in all of Portland. Authentic tastes with vegan options. Onion and potato pakora tasted yummy with crunch from what tasted like sabudana. Khichdi is a must try. Vegan naan breads are amazing!
Delicious vegan dishes, wonderful atmosphere and staff, thank you!
Wow, This is fantastic Indian food. Small restaurant that was very busy on the Monday night we were here. My favorite item we tried is vegan spicey naan. My Old Fashioned was also really good with a proper ice cube. I am looking forward to bringing my vegan friend here.
The food is FANTASTIC and portions are ginormous - bring a friend or three! Super authentic recipes from a loving Indian family. After meeting the wife and co-owner of the restaurant, it gave me insight now as to why this is a dinner-focused establishment and dearly wish the very best for the family's newest member! I SO LOVE this restaurant! <3
The best vegan food ever. Falguni..You are a wonderful host. Thank you for the yummilicious food. Will visit every time my husband and I are in Portland.
Really good veg Indian restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was good as well. They also have khichdi, first time seen at a restaurant.
Shane was the friendliest waiter, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'll definitely be back!
Not the best flavor. Need more spices for an Indian restaurant
Best Indian restaurant in Portland. The staff is super friendly and the food is obviously made with love.
Yummm loved their food. They have lots of vegan and gluten free dishes which is such a blessing. If your sensitive to spice ask about the level on the dishes. My moms dish was to spicy for her but they were awesome in making her a new one. Definitely worth trying.
Mom and pop restaurant worth supporting. Food is amazing. Service is great. Seating is limited but it's worth it. Vegan or vegetarian on all menu items. Gluten free available. I go here with a friend who has dietary requirements where we can share the same tasty meal for both of us
I liked this place a lot. We had the cauliflower kabab which was well marinated and super tasty. In fact this is one of the best indian appetizers I had in the U.S. Do give the tandoori appetizers a try. For the main course, we tried out the garlic naan and paneer Tikka masala. The Tikka masala was good, a little sweet in taste which is not my favorite but I should have conveyed my taste preferences clearer , but overall it was good and enjoyable. If you like spicy food, maybe you can try out the palak gravy or chole masala. The naan was really well made and was in the perfect consistency. For dessert, we had rasmalai. This was pretty tasty. The staff was very courteous. We had a conversation with the owner as well and she was very courteous and listened to our thoughts and feedback. I loved the ambience especially the top level seating. Overall it's a great place for Indian vegetarian food at Portland! Do give this a try. Thumbs up!
Amazing authentic Indian food. Loved it.
Holy moly. Had friends in town and picked this spot randomly since we were on the east side and all veg/vegan. SO good. Best decision ever. Food amazing, cocktails lovely, and staff super duper nice even though we stuck around chatting til after they closed. Will return post haste with more friends to share it with.
Awesome Indian food.
4.7?! What the heck people! 5 Stars all the way. Family owned, delicious food, and great atmosphere :)
So tasty, better than non-vegan
Maybe the best Tikka Masala I have ever tasted. If you’re a person that shy’s away from vegetarian restaurants, don’t pass on this one. It’s a simple menu and every dish is very good. Nice friendly staff as well. Our service was very good.
Do you love Indian food? Are you Vegetarian and/or Vegan? Do you love the taste of a great home cooked meal made with fresh ingredients? Do you prefer a cozy atmosphere where the owners are ALWAYS around? Well then, Maruti is the best kept secret in Portland. The staff is excellent and friendly. This is one of a few all Vegetarian (mostly Vegan) Indian restaurants in town. They also have a killer Mango Lassi that is Vegan!
Was not able to order food as we arrived 10 minutes after the last order time which was 8:45 pm. Even after calling them to confirm, they only agreed for take away orders that we passed. The lady at the counter suggested other restaurants that may be open at that time, which was kind.
Everything we had was delicious. The biryani was huge, flavorful and moist. Cozy space and welcoming staff.
Love this place! Awesome tasting dishes, great owners and staff.
This place has no respect for minorities , they treat minorities as second class , I had to wait for almost 20 min for my order and found out the table that was next to me who came after me got thier food first and surprisingly they got the same food that I ordered and then the server who told me without apologising that she forgot to post my order...... Yeah right I had no time for that so I just cancelled my order and left , instead I went to darusalam restaurant and it turned out to be amazing, I will Never go back to this restaurant in my life.
LOVE the tikka masala!
Beautiful food with lots of flavor. The waitstaff was pleasant and attentive without hovering. Inexpensive enough for most days but special enough for a date because of the dynamic interior with thoughtful decor, and the warmth and originality.
Great atmosphere and staff. Food is vibrant. Menu is huge. Very much on the salty side, heavy on the oil and many things might be too sweet or too spicy for some, but most items are meant for the right combination to be fully enjoyed
We are new to the restaurant. The service was impeccable. Sweet and spicy goodness, the food flavors were clean. Very pleased we braved the twists and turns to dine here. Greatest pleasure was the gluten free Naan. Hello, it was a glorious treat to eat. Vegan, gluten free folks rejoice!
Owned by a sweet outgoing Indian couple in their late 30s I think. Excellent vegetarian food with a home-made character. This is not a typical classic Indian restaurant, it has a great vibe. Ended up eating there several times while I stayed in town!
non spicy
Nice food. Little pricey than other indian restaurants.
Amazing vegan options. Loved the vegan chai. We were searching for dairy replacement for chai for long. We had chai with oat milk here, we started using oat milk at home too. Their paneer Curry is a must try. The cheese filled naan blew mind
Unbelievably tasty and well crafted vegan food. Incredibly kind owners as well. We sat at the bar and had a delightful dining experience. Get there early! They stop seating or taking names an hour before closing. It’s pretty popular and busy!
Great for vegan food, a bit too salty and fatty for me.
Authentic Indian food in a cozy, small setting with an amazing customer service crew! Recommend the bhel puri and rasmalai!
Amazing indian food! As a dedicated omnivore, I'm always a little skeptical of vegetarian places with high ratings. Is the rating high because it's a vegetarian restaurant and they are in short supply, or is the food actually good? But this place has truly earned its high google stars. The tikka masala was outstanding, as was the samosa and raita. This has definitely become my new favorite indian place in portland!
It was our first time at this restaurant and it became my family's favorite place for Indian food. Even my kids loved everything :) Beautiful atmosphere, very good service, a good vibe overall.
Friends treated me to a birthday dinner here. Couldn't ask for a better birthday present. Delicious, meatless Indian--my favorite.
Excellent veg-only spot. Great flavors but the portions are a bit small and, strangely, they skimp on the rice for takeout orders. We'll still be back.
Wonderful food and service. The vegan Tikka masala was exquisite.
Best tikka masala ever!
My favorite vegan Tikki Masala in PDX. Service is always great as well!
We love the food here. Great Indian Vegan place! Food service is quick too :)
Take out order for Door Dasher. Food was ready on time. Customer was satisfied.
So very tasty and perfect!
we’ve been all over Portland trying to find good Indian food- this place did not disappoint. AMAZING food, great atmosphere, and the sweetest staff. Also- perfect vegetarian spot.
Such a fantastic find. We were hungry and looking for a proper Indian meal and we could not have been happier. Authentic, family run, health conscious and honestly perfect. Staff was kind, happy and attentive. We will be coming back again!!
Incredibly delicious food and wonderful service. The staff really makes you feel at home. I love their special attention to detail such as food intolerances and their use of non-GMO oil!! Looking forward to dining there again!
Delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. The staff was really friendly and helpful with our large group including small children. I shared aloo palak and paneer tikka masala, my daughter loved the raita and vegetable pakoras. We will definitely go back!
Amazing vegan Indian food. Plates made to share. What a pleasant surprise to have so many vegan options on the menu. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Delectable (: we ran into one of the owners on the way out and she was extremely sweet!! All food lovers must come and eat here!!!
Wasn't able to eat there because they were closed.. who's closed on a Wednesday....
Lovely place, the food was great and the owner chatted with us.
You can't go wrong anywhere on this menu. Super good and very GF/V friendly!
Amazing Indian food. All local and organic produce used. Try the special Paneer or Cauliflower kebab.
This restaurant is awesome.! It's an all vegetarian restaurant and the food is yum, especially all the biryanis. The service is also excellent. :)
Loved the Food here. Very Authentic Indian Cuisine.
Over rated. Expensive and food is not that good either. Appetizers:4 pieces of Pakoras only and were not fully cooked. Raita and chutneys were missing salt. Cheese kabob was good but 3 tiny pieces for the price charged was bit of a rip off. Main course:tikka masala cheese was overly tomato saucy, no flavor. Baigan bharta was too salty and didnt even taste like how an eggplant dish should. Service: was good. My daughter stopped eating after taking couple of bites of each dish and that says a lot. She is a real indian foodie and good judge of taste. Sorry, I hardly give these reviews but had to do this one as I felt that my bill didnt justify the experience.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Genuine owners. You must have the spicy cheese naan and the tondori cauliflower appetizer! So good!
Very good service. Really liked it.
Looked up and found that this place got very good ratings and went to this place, but it was a big mistake especially when we were super hungry. Very very poor service by hotel staff, very less quantity of food for a given price, and taste is also not so good. I would recommend do NOT go to this place even if this is the only available Indian restaurant around.
Awesome authentic atmosphere
Awesome! Maruti is one of my favorite all-time restaurants and definitely the very best Indian Cuisine I have ever had. I would highly recommend to anyone for an incredibly delicious meal. Can't wait to go back!
After trying many Indian restaurants, we have come to conclusion that this is the best quality food available in the Portland area. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who is looking for an authentic vegetarian Indian food experience . They use organic ingredients (where possible), with a touch of Indian hospitality. The service is excellent however and they do have space limitation and you may have wait half an hour to get seated. Simple menu but good.
The TIkka Masala, vegan or vegetarian, is so amazing. I took one bite and closed my eyes in bliss and I'm usually a stonefaced, emotionless old bitty about everything. I also got the samosa chole app which was pretty darn good and the Moving through Kashmir drink, also thoroughly enjoyable. But all the stars are for the tikka. We felt rushed at the end but who cares, that tikka. That. Tikka.
This is the most authentic Indian cuisine I’ve had in the USA. They specialise in North and West Indian dishes and drinks. All places that say authentic Indian aren’t really, but this one is for sure.
This is our favorite restaurant! Every dish is a delight. Our service has always been excellent. When ever we have guests come from out of town, we make sure to bring them to Maruti. Good idea to call ahead for reservations. You won't be disappointed.
Americanized-Indian food place. Not authentic Indian food whatsoever, but very friendly staff- good organized service! Got us seated in time even though there was a huge line outside!
Fantastic vegan and gluten free options!
Absolutely delicious
We love the owners and we love this place to eat our favorite Indian dishes!!
Small family run . Advertised as vegan and vegetarian but they do have real paneer cheese. Lots of options . Great mixed drinks, beer and I rolled out there very full . Can’t wait to go back
Best Indian restaurant in town!! Absolutely gem of a place! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Owners are very welcoming and takes time to explain dishes. Food was outstanding and would be coming back every chance I get. If you’re jain or Swaminarayan; you have enough options to eat here! -Sid
Went here for some good Indian food and didn’t even know it was vegetarian - but was pleasantly surprised. The tikka masala and naan were amazing. Will definitely bring friends who visit back here, especially if they have dietary restrictions due to the many options.
I can’t believe I hadn’t experienced this outstanding restaurant before tonight! The seasonal daal and potatoes with spinach were layered and rich with flavor. Truly a delight for the senses! Do not miss if you’re a vegetarian or vegan. Cannot wait to go back!
Truly great place, with some great flavors. I am NOT vegetarian, but their food isn't leaving me hungry for meat. Great flavors consistently delicious, and fairly priced.
I had an awesome experience at Maruti and can't wait to go back. The food was great and the service was friendly and swift, wine tasting was appreciated and the vegan options made me jump for joy. Really incredible people and food. 10/10 would recommend
Great food. They messed up an order but were very apologetic and fixed the issue quickly. Food tasted fresh. Great vegan and gluten free selection.
The couple who, I assume, are behind the magic of this place are wonderful. They were super accommodating, the food is hands down some of the best and most balanced in spice and preparation. The drinks are tops. I'm so happy they are here.
Wonderful service and food. Lovely!
$14 for each of these, the Masala came with the rice, as well as the complementary hair..
Wonderful staff and delicious food.
Beautiful decor and very attentive staff. We had never had Indian food before and they were very helpful on what to order. They gave us sauces to try that were on various dishes and complimentary wine tasting. Amazing food!!
Delicious vegan Indian food. Simple but tasteful. Great service as well.
My wife and I went her for dinner and we were more than delighted with our experience. Staff was very nice. Their food is authentic, tasty, but also healthy and good on the stomach. Like how they make some common famous Indian dishes in more lighter but sumptuous way. The portions could be a bit more considering the size. Overall we were very happy with trying out this place. We had the Paneer Tikka masala, baingan bharta and some Naan.
Great food, even better service. Do not miss the gulab jamuns
Great ambiance and the food was very tasty. Service was great and the updated décor made the experience that much better.
Interesting Indian place with a quaint and intriguing decor. The food is authentic and flavorful. Easily one of the better places to go for a choice in biryani. I did find the food under spiced. The bhel puri could have been tangier and the biryani a bit more spice heavy. Still, it's comfort food for those who crave it and a fantastic gourmet trip for those who are seeking.
Authentic vegetarian and vegan Indian cuisine. Tastes more traditional-home-like than like an Indian restaurant.
One of the Best Indian Restaurants ever! You can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in.The owners are wonderful so accommodating , great service , cheerful staff and the food is just out of this world! Absolutely loved it !! Make sure you try out their special tikka masala and khichadi! Would love to visit the place again. They put in a lot a love and hard work and it shows ! ❤️
Best Indian Food In Portland! Taste the Love they put in your food. You will walk away in a state of food ecstasy. Such a great experience. Local and organic ingredients. Recipes handed down within their families that we get to enjoy. The owners are incredible people. Two of the most gracious people you will meet. They fell in love, got married and thank goodness moved to Portland. Some of my favorites are Pakoras. You haven’t had Pakoras like this. Tikki Masala. So incredibly rich. Naan. They have lots of options. Even GF. Alcohol free mock-tail with rose petals Ethnically diverse cliental. Hole in the wall you will be happy you stumbled into. Enjoy your wonderful meal and 5 Star customer service.
Excellent service and delicious food. Kid-friendly but also caters well to health conscious individuals and those with food sensitivities. I highly recommend the tikki masala, palak paneer, mango lasse, and the gluten-free naan. Our portions were a good size and left us feeling full and satisfied despite being vegetarian. Time for a nom-nom naan nap
My wife and I can't remember the last time we've had such a delicious meal! Also try the mung bean salad... didn't know what mung beans were before ordering, but the salad was incredible.
Can't wait to go back! So good, friendly, comfy atmosphere...
So good! Obviously very vegetarian/vegan friendly, such friendly waitstaff, and adorable inside. Other reviews have mentioned the small menu, and I think that's a good thing- means everything is more fresh! On our way out the owner checked to make sure we'd enjoyed our food and apologized for not having done rounds. Definitely the best Indian food I've ever had and one of the best places I've been to in Portland!
Food, service and drinks were all fabulous.
Yes, they don't have meat. Don't let it stop you or you're wasting the opportunity to taste flavor on an amazingly exquisite level. I love meat but this place has shown me that meals without can still send your taste buds to Paradise!
Visited this place on my recent visit to Portland. It's a vegetarian restaurant. Quality of food and Service was great. Ordered their special paneer tikka platter. This was simply out of the world. Very tasty. We tried the veg biryani, it was excellent as well. Highly recommend this place.
Best Indian restaurant in Portland. Awesome service. Owners who care for the customers. Highly recommended.
