I went there with friends around 2 on the 22nd of March and I had the worst chile relleno I've ever had in my life! I ordered them whenever I go to Mexican food restaurant this is by far the worst. I press had tacos and they didn't have any topping with them at all. Just dried meat in a soft flour shell. Service was terrible! The servers were grumpy and rude.

Slow service, every time waitress came to the table what had been ordered either she forgot we had asked fo an item or remembered it incorrectly and took forever getting the corrected item. And the entrees chicken meat in different dishes and items tasted like dirty dish water. Very disappointed.

Attempted to go here today. My girlfriends and I were excited to share our Christmas ornament exchange and even more excited to see the bar was only hosting one individual. We sat down and told the woman bartender how beautiful the restaurant is. She ignored us so we sat down and began talking, we sat for over five minutes. The bartender never said a word. We then left and she still never said a word. We all concluded the bartender must have been flirting and did not want us to interrupt.

Decent American Mexican food. Has a relatively cheap, decent lunch buffet. Nothing spectacular, but good enough for a quick, filling lunch. We eat there every couple of months, so worth a repeat visit.

The food was very good, we had the fajitas for 2, their fresh made tortillas were worth the visit. I wouldn't recommend the drinks. Our group tried a variety and none of us were impressed.

Wow! Loved the decor! Felt like I was in Mexico again. The food was excellent, very authentic. Big portions too! The service was great, always stopping by to check thhat everything was good, hot and ok! We really liked that. The place was busy, always a good sign for any restaurant. Felt like a family business that takes pride in what they do...hospitality.

This was our second time at this restaurant. The ingredients are carefully selected and only the best is allowed on your plate. Tortillas are homemade, the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

Been here many, many times over the years and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This time they were playing what could only be described as Mexican Rapp. And it was so loud that it made conversation impossible. Service was slow. Almost felt like the boss was gone so the employees were screwing around. Had this been my 1st time here, it would have been my last. Due to usually good times, I will give it another try

Food is good. The twofer is a good value. Go for happy hour if u want less expensive margherita. Service can be spotty but generally good and the people are friendly and helpful. Its our go to Mexican restaurant when in town.

Great food, and service was quick (even for a Monday night). The Chile Colorado was excellent, as was the Chile Verde burrito. The bar booths are comfortable although the music (streamed video via YouTube) was a bit loud for carrying on a conversation. The restaurant is very clean and homey. A great family restaurant.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Salem. Good sized portions at reasonable prices. The flavor is great and very authentic for northern Mexico. I personally recommend the Dos Amigos burrito platter but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is very friendly and attentive and they have handled our needs whether we were a couple or a group of 20. Highly recommend!

I've been here a handful of times, and always enjoyed the food. I enjoyed the food yesterday in a late lunch with my sister. Around 4 in the morning I started throwing up and could not stop. My sister experienced the same thing. Even now I am nauseous. I won't be returning to this establishment, or any of the others in town!

Not happy about the buffet service or wait staff. Waited for over 20 min to get food from the buffet and finally just left. Still paid full price for 3 adults even when the 3rd person was a child. She had some beans as she was waiting for the pollo a la crema, as so was I.

So hubby and I came back after a year or so to find a few changes. Seems a few updates. Tv's up in the bar area playing music video. No sports on the others. Menu was updated and it may have discouraged my husband from going from his favorite thing that he normally picks out though I still went for my chipolata chicken burrito with mushrooms added. Seemed to be the same except i got fully sliced mushrooms and not the diced up ones from before, I would order it again. Hubby picked the special of two enchiladas.He seemed pleased as it all disappeared lol. I know change happens as businesses need to keep with the times. Only suggestion I would offer, saw a two ladies pop in for a mid afternoon shot and no one saw them walk in. They made it all the way back to the entrance before someone noticed them. But overall I would give it a 5 and come back again...

So I was recommended to eat here by some friends who live in Salem. Great atmosphere and cold beers. The salsa served with the chips, not the best salsa. The bean dip was great. The margarita, was just ok, it just tasted off and not to my liking but I LOVED the glass it was served in!! The arroz con pollo burrito was ok. I am up for trying place again another time I am in town.

In times past when we have been there it hasn't been the best but it looks like to me as we were talking a friend my friends and I that there had to change hands of ownership because the food tastes different the chips were done and they were hot everything was top-notch it was the best if you love Mexican food this is a place that you can go and enjoy the environment

They have a drink called "Mangorita". Its an offshoot of Margarita however... This one is from mango. And the sauces they put on the rim with chamoy, mixed with this drink is out of this world deliciousness. It taste better virgin. All the dishes come with plenty and Hot. The dishes taste authentic as well. The staff are normally attentive and keep your drinks topped. Its good for groups but also for a quite night out. All and all one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in NE Salem. Highly recommend.
