Great place. Small ,Affordable , Relaxing, Good food and Great service. My first time here I try both of their Flavor water. Honestly I love the one made of Maíz. Looking forward to visit again.
Authentic Peruvian food , very friendly stuff , good portion.
First time here and the food was great I look forward to coming back
Good food... a little bit pricey. Nevertheless, it was a good experience
Best seafood in all portland and Beaverton area period.
A moment I step in the smell was almost unberible. We order two separate dishes: beef and seafood but they look almost identical: French fries with seafood and rice on the side. Beef with a French fries and rice on a side. I never was a fun of wet French fries in souce. I will never be back.
Good Peruvian food. Lomo saltado is the best.
Excellent food (legit, but middling according to my Peruvian friend), but overpriced for what you get. If the prices were chopped in half, I'd be inclined to rate it 4-5 stars.
Food was just amazing, very flavorful!!!! Lots of seafood
Very good meals...friendly staff..will go again....try different cuisine.
Best french fried rice ever
The food was pretty good, nothing to write home about.
Yum! The seafood dish I had was excellent. It was a little loud, so four stars and I will defiantly be back.
The food was great! I got the ceviche and it was outstanding. My friend got the shrimp fried rice and then ordered a plate to go for her hubby so he wouldn't eat her leftovers! Desserts were very tasty. Peruvian flan is so different from Mexican. Definitely will go back again
The food was amazing!!!
Ceviche was great. Service wonderful.
Nice wait staff but the food pales in comparison to actual Peruvian cuisine
Authentic Peruvian food. I love this restaurant, it's inexpensive and the closest you can get to the real thing. The ladies that work here are the sweetest, we always have a good time.
Good food, great service, fare prices. Vegan options.
They are really good in food...really good services...
The only down side is the portions are big, so we completely over-ordered. But that's not really a bad thing, per se. This was my first experience with Peruvian food, and loved it. The ceviche was great! I'd go back in an instant! It is a bit small, so don't be upset over a little wait during peek hours... It's worth it!
Awesome food!!! Good service, clean environment. I am a customer since they open the restaurant
Excellent Peruvian food at great prices. The staff were friendly and helpful and the environment was very nice. But the food... Amazing!
Food was very good, service was excellent. It's a small restaurant so it was nice and cozy
Good
This was my first try at Peruvian food food and I was pleasantly surprised. I had a chicken and rice dish that was wonderfully favorable and came with a beef soup. I hope to come back again and try one of their soups during colder weather. And if you go there, don't forget to try their Chicha Morado, a drink made out of purple corn.
The food was worth 5 stars but the price is a bit steep. Also the ambiance is less attractive. The ceviche is to die for!
My partner is Peruvian and this place brings her back to home.
Awesome food quick service. Loved the ceviche!
Amazing food and good portions!
Ideally wonderful food and memories make my mouth water.
FANTASTIC. Awesomely authentic Peruvian food and not bad prices for the Portland area!
Went here for my anniversary and holy heck it did not disappoint. The ceviche de pescado was some of the best ceviche I've ever had!
Awesome, great food and good service.
Delicious and authentic Peruvian food. Stellar table service also.
Very good food at reasonable prices! This sounds odd but the fries were amazing, super crisp!
My gf and I had a great first experience at Lima! We shared bisteck a lo pobre and ceviche de camaron. Both were delicious but I enjoyed the ceviche the most. The serving staff were very polite and welcoming. They were happy to explain the menu to us first-timers. I would definitely recommend to try this place!
Delicious!!! Absolutely Perfect!!! The food has the better taste I ever tried!!! Recomended 100%
Simply great food and service!
We love this restaurant. Small, simple but the food is always very good and the staff always super friendly.
This is an amazing restaurant. The food was delicious, ordered five different items from the main menu 3 appetizers all of them incredibly flavored great sized portions and fast service. The only negative comment is be aware it is a small restaurant and so if you're coming during a high-traffic time you most certainly will have a wait but it is well worth it.
This is autentic Peruvian. I've been in Peru and I'm from south America and this is really authentic. Nice simple place to come witb family and friends
Really good food, largeprotion sizes and great service.
Amazing ceviche!!
Very good food, generous portion sizes, and reasonably priced. A little slower with limited staff but worth the wait.
Very good
Great food for good prices! Prompt and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!
Great food - Peruvian food is actually quite different from Mexican, if you haven't tried it. It's kind of a cross between Asian and European. Lots of great seafood options. Service is always quick. The only knock is that it doesn't take credit cards. So bring cash or use debit card.
Small place so on busy hours you may have to wait a little but really good food. I would suggest going for the seafood entrees. You definitely get the south american flare. Only complaint and hence the 4 stars, it gets hot inside and the a/c doesn't cool the whole place so I hope they do something about it. Especially when you are heating hot food it can get a little comfortable. I would definitely be back to try out other dishes.
Great food!!
What a joy to find. My husband and I decided we needed to find some new places to eat, we had been cycling through the same week after week. This got the bill as something delicious and new. Saturday night and there was a bit of a wait. The place is much larger inside then it looks from outside. I love restaurants that have mural painted walls goes back to some romantic hole in the walls from my youth I am sure. The food is the center piece here. I had the rotisserie chicken it was moist and falling off the bone, delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Delicious food! If you go you have to try the Lomo saltado
Good food good service
Large selection of Peruvian dishes. Our large party tried many and they were delicious!
Amazing food!!! I loved it, great people and service, I will be back again and again
Omg... Awesome food
Amazing food! Great portions. I'll always recommend the Yucca Fries. It's amazing!
Great service, I might need to go back and try different dishes to give a better review. So far, pollo a la brasa was good, very fresh and generous portions, chicha morada just as I remember in Peru, alfajores on point, yucas fritas also good specially with the green and yellow sauce.
Quaint place, pretty good food that comes out real quick. I'd certainly go there again to try something else.
It was a plesent place to eat. Curtiuose people made our experience enjoyable.
First time diner and expect to be a long time patron. The steak with onions, tomatoes & potatoes was delicious. The chicken fried rice was good as well although we weren't quite able to distinguish how Peruvian style was much different than an excellent Asian style chicken fried rice. Still want to try more items on the menu!
This restaurant is amazing, i am peruvian, have lived in the US for 16 years and this place is the closest to traditional, and so affordable. If you want real peruvian food, this is the place to go. Delicious!!!
In Peru do as Americans do experience The ruins at Machu Picchu see the beautiful coast beaches., Don't drink the water instead drink Pilsen cerveza lmao!No 2ithout a doubt this id aweome we went for lunch Delicious very casual yet very tidy decor is warm and The staff is very friendly.im goingto go for dinner next time try this if you love Peruvian cuisine its a real treat
Delicious food!
Great food at a god price. The Seviche is amazing, one of my favorite place to eat in Beaverton
This is the best authentic South American food in the Portland area. Don't expect tacos or enchiladas. Mexico is in North America and you've probably never had anything from South America. Peruvian culture has developed the most rigorous food culture over the past several centuries. It's been informed by the unique herbs and peppers from the native Incas, the colonizing Spaniards and transplants from Asia. The cuisine has evolved into the peak of culture and this restaurant is the best display of it for your money.
Best food here in Beaverton
Super interesting cuisine! Delicious and reasonably priced.
It was good in the beginning, but the quality of the food is not the best in the last couple of visit :( So disappointing, hopefully they will get back to good food and freshness.
Quick and tasty! and the customer service is amazing. Went for the first time with my mom and we had an amazing experience. Learned so much about Peruvian food!
Always the best food
This is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in the area and it has an affordable price. Staff is always welcoming and really happy. Food is always delicious. My favorite dish is lomo saltado with inka cola!
Undoubtably some of the best food I've had in a while. I had the fish plate macho style with squid, octopus, shrimp, and scallops. AMAZING! Average price range is about $12-15 per plate with the top around $25. If you are looking for Peruvian, this is the place!
Incredible. Generous portions with tons of seafood an meats. Very very authentic.
Great Peruvian flavors!
some bomb ass food
large portion sizes.
I'm Peruvian. I come here a couple of times a month and bring friends too. It is focused on coastal Peruvian food, some dishes are influenced by Chinese immigrants in Peru, and there's some Andean dishes as well. I still yet to try their their breakfasts on Sunday. May update on that later.
Excelent
Amazing food
ive previously rated this establishment highly and held it in high regard. unfortunately, there may have been a change in management, as the food is now very bad (not even resembling what it was when i reviewed it previously) the service is poor and neglectful, and the prices now with the devastated quality of fare outrageous. i am sad to see the loss of good restaurant. roundly very bad, i urge the reader to seek alternatives.
Fantastic traditional Peruvian cuisine. I will definitely be coming back here as often as possible.
The food is absolutely delicious! I wish they had another restaurant like it on the east side of the metro area, but at any rate, the 1 hour commute is more than worth it!!!
It's great to have authentic Peruvian that fits my budget. Good food and lots of it with a rather quick wait time.
Great food but prices are a little high
Delicious food, fast delivery to your table, friendly staff... love the murals
Excellent food.
Nice little hidden gem with decent service. They have Aztec cola which I love. A bit pricey however for its location in this area in Beaverton. There seems to be some price inconsistencies in the menu. Appetizers, for example, are really pricey. Compare this to the main course meals..which are more in the right range.
Addictive pesto and good coffee
The flavors were amazing. Loved every bite
If you haven't tried the food here, get your azz over here as soon as you can. Amazing and the family run vibe is awesome.
Food is ok, way too over priced. Interior of restaurant very plain with cheap furnishings.
Great casual Peruvian restaurant.
Really good food.
Yummy roasted chicken and fries.
Food good, ceviche excellent. Wine and Bread no
Real taste of Peruvian Food!
Excellent..
I'm not sure if the chef was out and they had a replacement chef, but I got the paella and mixed ceviche the flavor was very bland in the paella and the seafood in both dishes didn't look like real seafood and felt rubber-ish and plastic. I had to ask for water's for our whole table twice, we were there for a birthday with a party of 10. They still didn't bring everybody a water. Ginger tea and the green dipping sauce were wonderful. I'll go back due to prior reviews are fabulous... hoping that maybe the chef was out and they had to have a replacement chef that night.
The ceviche was heavenly! Wanted to order the rotisserie chciken but they ran out. Must be good then. I will come back for it.
Delicious!
Sooooooo... okay. This corner in Beaverton... Allen and Lombard... this corner is a hint of what is happening to Portland. It's gone largely unnoticed by us native/long-time residents of this once beautiful and quirky city. While we were bitching about people that we didn't recognize standing in lines on 46 degree rainy days for some stupid ice cream made with salted cow sperm and yiddish oregano... while people, drawn here for tech jobs and green spaces stood in line for a meh donut shaped like a penis in a pink box as though a 12 year old brother and sister team had found their way into an excess of dough and cardboard... while our rents were tripling and the price of our coffee went from $.35 at Quality Pie to $4.25 everywhere... there was something good happening - and I think we just didn't notice. People that we want to move here were moving here. People that could bring us more than vegetarian pizza and hippy sandwiches with tea leaves and sunflowers in them were streaming into the area. While our best restaurants were being ripped down to promote progress in the form of condos and parking garages and the rest of them were being bought by restaurant conglomerates who would perfect a process that was best for their bottom line but not their chef's creativity, there were people moving here from all over the world. They settled in and drove all the newly transplanted Californians around or cut their damn shrubs or mowed their lawns or served them burgers or whatever they had to do... and some of those people saved their money and they opened up stores and restaurants that serve the people that would never stand in those stupid ass lines for some $6 cup of ice cream. Those people eat at Red Robin and Olive Garden and that disgusting cheesecake place that has popped up all over the world. Instead they opened up restaurants that would serve the people that we actually want here. On three corners of this intersection, there is a Peruvian restaurant, an Iraqi bakery, a Mexican super mercado with a bakery and "deli" inside, a real cantina around the corner. There it is.... the barter that has been executed on us for the growth we have endured. On this day I am headed to Lima... the Peruvian restaurant on the SW corner of this junction. I am greeted by a lovely woman who brings me two sauces - one very green and one beautifully orange. She brings nothing else... just sauces. I order a Peruvian beer and ask, "what am I supposed to do with these sauces?". She looks at me as though I had just asked how to drink a glass of water and responded with "you put it on bread, on rice... you put it on everything!" And then she brought me bread... she pointed to her favorite dishes on the extensive menu and taking her advice, I ordered the Arroz Con Mariscos (Peruvian Paella). Holy Balls of Satan!! It was beautiful in every way. The seafood was fresh. The shrimp, the squid, the mussels, the clams, the octopus, everything was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be here again and again. I want to eat every single thing they make. I want to go to every one of these establishments on this corner and spend every penny I make thanking them for moving to our city... I want to apologize that they had to move to Beaverton because the 23 year old trust fund kids and the 28 year old San Francisco start up jerks drove the price of homes up so high that our city center is becoming the burbs and our burbs are becoming the cultural center of our city. That's what's happening. I am going to try to stop fighting it and I am going to embrace it. I will eat at the restaurants on the outskirts of town.. .where the food is good and well-deserved profit from making good food goes to families and not corporations! Thank you Lima!
Perubian food like homemade style.
Great food and great service
Yuca and saltado. Fantastic authentic Peruvian food. Will definitely return.
I love the personalized attention I get every time I stop by therr
Great place to eat Peruvian food, prices are in the $15-20 a meal per person. The portions are huge and have traditional Peruvian drinks and large variety of dishes. Would come back.
Very prompt service and the food was absolutely amazing!! Aji de gallina, chicken in cream sauce, was delicious and would recommend this dish to anytime. My new favorite local spot...try this place out you won't be disappointed!
I love going there for my breakfast, best Peruvian place I ever been
I called ahead for the table the place was full of happy people. The servers were kind and responsive. Will definitely go again. A smiling family atmosphere!
Food was pretty good. Service was only ok. When we got our bread to start the meal, they did not give any serving plates. We had to use the napkin to eat the bread.
Food was excellent
Lima is amazing and we love the food but recently they raised their prices significantly...way beyond the value. The local is clean but very low key and located in a less than attractive strip mall. $19 a plate is too much for a casual eatery in the burbs.
Excellent food and good amount for what you pay.
My girlfriend has been craving ceviche for the past few days, so for our anniversary I grabbed a ceviche mixto to go. I chose Lima based upon the reviews, and I'm glad I did. My girlfriend said it was the best ceviche she's had in so long. She absolutely loved the creamy cilantro sauce that came with it too. I thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche as well, better than any I've had, but my experience with ceviche is still new, as this was the third ever ceviche I've tried in my life.
Good food and great service
What can I say, its a great restaurant. No problems
Consistently well prepared food and helpful staff. Been there several times and will visit again.
I love this place! People are very friendly, the menu has a great variety of dishes, all in big sizes and more importantly delicious! I just want to go and try the entire menu. I've been 3 times already and never been disappointed.
We wanted to have Peruvian food and Lima did not disappoint! The food was really tasty and the “chicha morada,” a Peruvian staple, was the most delicious I have had—and next time I would like to try one of their soups! Pricing is a bit steep and the lack of vegetables and predominance of carbohydrates makes this place—or perhaps Peruvian food altogether—a once-in-a-while experience however.
Great food. Ceviche is strong on the lime but good and fresh. Chicken is fresh, moist, and the green sauce is heavily addicting. Seafood macho style is amazing, almost like a curry sauce. Save the free bread to dip into the sauce. And the fries you get with the chicken. Service is great, too!
Very good peruvian food in Portland. Deserve a better place
It was recommended by a Peruvian acquaintance and we were impressed by the food quality and portions. You wouldn't tell by looking at the place... We tried ceviche mixto, calamares fritos and lomo saltado. My favorite, the calamari...so yummy. Corteous and very fast service. We'll be back for sure
Peruvian food is hard to come by in the Portland metro area at a reasonable price. The food here is just great, the service is incredibly fast and the portions are huge. I highly recommend their beef dishes but they do wonders with ceviche. And to finish everything get the Inca Kola. It is like bubble gum soda. It is delicious.
As a Peruvian, this place reminds me of a nice neighborhood joint that would not be out of place if it happened to be in the Chorrillos neighborhood of its namesake city; a niche that here in Oregon has never been successful before now. The seafood dishes are outstanding, particularly the ceviche, choros a la chalaca, parihuela, and jalea. The classics such as lomo saltado, ají de gallina, and the spit roasted chicken are great.
Excellent. I recommend the fish.
Wonderful customer service, outstanding food. Fresh ingredients, flavorful * very flavorful food! Family atmosphere....casual and relaxed. The Pollo a la brasa" *Rotisserie chicken like "is the star of the menu here it is sooo... delicious!!! Fresh salad served, fresh bread! The lady's welcome you with a big smile.
Wish I had known this place sooner. My friend and I tried their lomo soltado, ceviche mixto and fried plantains. Everything was delicious. A good combination of savory, acidity and sweetness for all three dishes. The ceviche is perfect dish for summer.
So awesome! Great food!
Love it!
Love the food. Great friendly customer service.
Top ten restaurant in Portland. Ceviche is amazing
We were seated right away, no waiting! Food arrived quickly, and our waters were refilled over and over without us asking. The food was delicious! This wasn't our first visit, and definitely isn't our last!
Excellent food and friendly service.
I was so shocked how good this was. I knew nothing of peruvian food and when my family went here we did not know what to expect. Very comfortable atmosphere that is perfect for a quick lunch of an inexpensive family dinner.
Really enjoyed this small dining place. Since discovering it, I've been back a few times
The prices were way too high for the atmosphere and quality.
Love everything. Great food.
Hidden gem in Beaverton. Authentic Peruvian without any pretense. Good service. If you are a wine drinker consider taking your own and paying corkage because they only have house wine.
My friend from Peru took me to this fantastic Peruvian restaurant. Since she's the expert, she ordered a few things. To start: We cheered with "Leche de Tigre" - a fantastic ceviche-like concotion of shrimp and fish, cooked in lime juice, a bit spicy and served in a beautiful glass. We followed with "Lomo Salteado"-A beef and potatoes dish "au jus"- but the highlight of the night was their superb and abundant "Jalea"- a delicious mix of seafood and root vegetables. The seafood is lightly coated. The fried shrimp (with tails and everything) adorn the fountain where this dish is served atop red onion, calamari and other fruits-de-mer. Healthy portions of Yucca and potato wedges are to be discovered as you proceed on the "Jalea." Drinks: My friend ordered "chicha" and I ordered a sip of Pinot Gris to accompany this superb dinner. Staff are super-friendly here; and the place is BUSY on Saturday nights. No reservations needed. Lots of families and casual atmosphere. ~Ivonne Rivero in Beaverton, OR.
Great food and friendly attentive staff. Nothing fancy, but solid.
Very good Perubian food the best of Peru
Will have your car towed for shopping at any surrounding businesses with a $380 minimum fee to get it back
Very authentic food and large portions.
Delicious food and good customer service.
Very good, fresh food. You have got to try the Jalea de Mariscos!
Delicious food at a great price!!
Big portions and great flavors. Definitely a must try for us non-Peruvians as some dishes actually felt Chinese-cuisine inspired, which made it a unique dining experience.
Tasty meat! Get the chicken
Excellent service and even better the food is delicious
Tasty food, affordable prices
Busy, 2 servers hustled, yucca appetizer was outstanding, fish stew delish, grilled steak a disappointment. Our 2nd time here, and we'll be back again to try a chicken dish. Great date night!!
great food great service.
I've been to other Peruvian restaurants and this one was the best. The service was great and so was the food. I tried the sauteed fish and caramel flan and an order of Yuca. It was wonderful and it wasn't overpriced. I noticed a lot of Peruvian people were eating here so I believe it was pretty authentic.
Excellent food and price
Try the Inca Kola! It was like a caffeinated cream soda. The rest was good and interesting, like a cross between Chinese and Mexican.
Love this place, we eat there at least once a week.
Authentic Peruvian food at very nice prices - try the lomo saltado or the aji. The chicha morada is very good too. Friendly staff.
