The waitress was very informative and fun. The food was very good.The price was too much for the small amount my daughter and I ate. Was expecting lunch prices,but at the bottom of the lunch dinner price seperation, weekends were a different price! My fault for not reading the whole thing. It is a build your own plate then cooked on a grill at your table. Neat experience.

One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Oregon! The lunch price is unbeatable for everything they offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have pretty good hot, pre- cooked food, but what you really want is the cook-at your-table meats and veggies. They have every sauce you could want, and even have all you can eat ice cream!

Flame Mt. Barbecue was a pleasant surprise. I went in with low expectations for yet another low quality Chinese Buffet on par with Golden Town in Albany but was quickly shown the error of my ways. This is truly a Korean Barbecue experience where you cook and sometimes season the meat yourself on a grill at your table. I went during lunch and the meat choices were diverse like pictured. Everything from the fish to the beef bulgogi tasted fresh and was a decent quality. The sushi and prepared foods were mediocre but weren't meant to be the main attraction anyway. All of the wonderful food was topped off with wonderful service that was both prompt and helpful. If this is your first Korean Barbecue outing, I wouldn't hesitate to ask the staff any questions. I was also informed that for dinner, they add ribs, steak, and more seafood options which explains the dramatic price difference. I'm excited to try some of their more premium meats in the near future! My only complaints revolve around seating options. The largest booths in the restaurant can only seat six and the one smallish grill at every table would have a hard time keeping up with that many people anyways. I would like to see some larger tables with two or even three grills for larger parties. I also would like them to figure out how to get sauces on the tables. The different sauces really help to flavor the meats and are an important part of the food. Flame Mountain BBQ was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go again with friends. It certainly deserves a spot among the elite variety of Asian food offerings in Corvallis and I'm excited for the extra option. The lunch offering at Flame Mountain BBQ gets a 9/10. I will update the review once I've tried dinner.

My boyfriend and I ate here just after they opened. Not only was the staff amazingly friendly, she helped show us how to start the oven and even gave us cooking tips! But the food was great, a nice selection of meats and vegetables and lots of sauce options. It was a little pricey for just two people for buffet styled food ($25 per), but the experience,atmosphere and service was well worth it. Would reccomend.

As you know, for corvallis, a college city, there isn't much to ask for. When me and my friends heard about a BBQ place here for all you can eat. We had to try it out. It blew me away. The place looked modern and well structured. You get to sit in a table with a grill and you can get all sort of meats to grill and share. The food was delicious, high quality marinated meat from beef to pork. Best I have ever eaten in Oregon mind you. There was all sort of sauces, legit crab, fruits, rice, noodles, fried chicken, and a scoop yourself icecream stand. The service was awesome. We were seated quickly, given extra plates, the grill hood got changed for us, the waitresses have always been asking if we needed anything. The only grip is that it costs $23 a person. It was way more worth it given the amount of food I've eaten. Including the experience and the fun we had grilling and mixing. Definitely recommend and endorse those kind of businesses.

Excellent Corvallis find! I had heard raving reviewing from a couple of friends, and decided to try it out for the first time on my birthday. The staff was very welcoming and we chose the buffet option. Since it was our first time going to a place like this (with the grill incorporated into the table), our waitress taught us how to be pros, and cooked our first round of raw meats and veggies for us! She even told us which ones we should definitely try, like the ribs and the curry chicken. And explained which sauces are for what. All extremely delicious! I highly suggest coming here as a two top, as I also read that it is a one hour max time you can spend at the table for the buffet. My husband and I got our fill within that hour time, but I can see cooking and rotating stuff for 4 people to become cumbersome and even stressful at times. The sushi is a nice thing you can immediately eat while you are waiting for the first round of food. We will surely be going back. The prices are very fair for the portions you actually end up eating. My only request is that they offer green tea and/or red bean ice cream to add to their dessert collection! :)

An incredibly fun and delicious eating experience! There is an absolutely stunning array of meats, vegetables, and seafood to enjoy on the grills at each table, and the variety and ability to cook the different ingredients to your own preference is both a novel experience as well as being great if your group has a range of preferred cooking preferences (such as steak being medium-rare or well done). The buffet of options also includes some excellent sushi and a surprising selection of ice creams for desert. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially as it was my first time trying out this BBQ. The range of sauces, both hot and otherwise, were great additions to help compliment whatever range of options you picked. I can't wait to come here again with friends and family, especially as this seems like it would be a ton of fun for everyone thanks to the interactive nature of the dining experience. Definitely worth a visit for an enjoyable and satisfying night out!

this is the place to eat. Quality Korean Style BBQ. many assortments of veggies and about 12 kinds of meat. the marinaded carne asada, spicy chicken and Dungeness crab, were my favorite. the servers are very friendly and offered many ideas on sauces / comminations to try. i highly recommend.

Honestly felt it was a bit difficult for a group of just three, and the staff intervened without asking and mixed all of our food together, which created a bit of an issue because my father has a mild shellfish allergy and was trying to keep his food to one side.

If you dont understand much about what you're doing the staff will help you out, they'll also let you know what's a safe amount of time to cook stuff for. It I'd a bit on the spendy side but totally worth it since it's a kind of buffet style.

Been to a lot of AYCE Korean BBQ in Washington and CA, there's definitely limited options here in Oregon. It's nice to have one so close, but I wouldn't come in expecting authentic Korean food. It's more of an Asian fusion restaurant. The food is pretty good considering it's the only place like this around.

The reviews that complain about the bland taste just don’t understand the concept. It’s all about the sauces. And the sauces here are excellent. Yes, you cook your own meat. After it is cooked, either dip it in sauces or drizzle the sauce on a lettuce leaf and make a wrap. Experiment with the different sauces. Try mixing them. Find your own favorite. Do it in a group and argue about who is the best chef. We had a great time. My only criticism is that because this is a new concept in corvallis the staff should have provided more instructions to newcomers. My daughter lived for a while in Korea so we were just fine. But others around us looked a bit lost. Hopefully they will catch on quickly and become regulars.

What a neat experience! This place is very different. They have a Chinese/Korean bbq buffet as well as fresh, raw meats you can choose to take back to your table and grill hot and fresh right before your eyes. The wait staff are friendly and helpful in teaching you how to properly bbq right at your table. Definitely going to go back to this place.

I have a gluten allergy and they always go above and beyond to make sure I have gluten free options. They even asked if they could make me a gluten free rice noodle stir fry and it was amazing! The staff here are some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever encountered at a restaurant! Really a great place!! I had my boyfriend’s birthday here and I ordered a cake from Safeway and the staff here let me keep it in the fridge then the brought it out on a fancy platter and sang and helped us cut it and everything!

I'm not one to write reviews but it's sad to see this place get 1 star reviews because people don't research what "Korean BBQ" is and decide to give it a 1 star. Yes, there is a grill at your table and you cook your own food here. It's what Korean BBQ is all about! For what you get this place is insanely cheap compared to other KBBQ options in Corvallis without even considering crab legs as a bonus for dinner. The only down side to this experience over other options in Corvallis is you don't get "bapsang" or the side dishes that everyone loves to have. Now for the actual review - Staff is the nicest I've ever seen friendly, attentive and helpful. They all seem to enjoy each other (family?) and seemed to genuinely care about your experience. The food itself was solid. The meat could be a bit better marinated and the sushi selection was negligible, otherwise this place is fantastic. I mean..who comes to an all you can eat KBBQ for buffet sushi anyways? Giving this place a serious 5 star because of the pricing for what you get. I'd eat at other location in Corvallis and split an $80-$120 KBBQ bill with 4-5 people and leave hungry. This being an all you can eat, that obviously won't be happening. *One FINAL note, there was an alarming message on the table that says there is a 1 hour limit to the buffet. I find this unreasonable especially if you have a party of 4 or more. I'd often spend well over an hour without wasting time waiting for food to cook and eating. I'm not sure if this is enforced but if it is, this would change a 5 to a 1 star real quick as that'd be just ridiculous given the nature of KBBQ.

They catered to my GF needs to make sure I knew all my options and to help with no cross contamination issues. I was pleasantly surprised by this place, as no one has recommended it to me yet. This is a Korean BBQ where you grill your food at your table. The meat is high quality for all you can eat, and has several options including lamb, pork belly, chicken, beef, and seafood. I would say the vegetable options were more limited compared to other buffets I've been to, but it was also a Thursday night and there were still 12 or so options. The staff was incredibly friendly and the manager/owner (?) stopped by several times to ensure we were enjoying our food and knew how to cook our food perfectly. The grills are sparkling clean, as is the rest of the place, and they even changed out our grill for us during our meal. I highly encourage more people to try this place if they are looking for something outside of the passive dining experience.

Fire Mountain BBQ is easily one of the more enjoyable food experiences in Corvallis. The restaurant is centered around cooking your own food at your table via a grill built into the table. Each guest goes up to the buffet counter to grab their meats, veggies, sides, and sauces before coming back to cook it. Everything is fresh and you can choose what you want plus you have the added bonus of not having to wait for staff like at other Koren BBQ places. The staff is very attentive and kind, eager to please and discover how to make the experience better. The price might seem a little high, but it is equivalent to other Korean BBQ places that do the table cooking. Plus when you consider the fact that you can have unlimited amounts of good meat, it makes sense. If you find the food bland, you're doing it wrong. Feel free to ask questions as the staff will happily help you out, but their initial instructions generally cover everything. Great food, great people, and a great experience!

Flame mountain is truly one of our favorite places in town to go. since the first time we went they been so helpful with teaching us how to have a great meal. When we go they always have great suggestions of different sauces and how to eat certain foods. They're also super helpful in helping you cook which is great for people who can get squeamish with raw meat. Foods always delicious and it's so easy to eat your money's worth. 10 out of 10 would recommend everyone to come here and try it at least once. You won't regret it!

My new favorite restaurant in Corvallis. The staff is lovely and very helpful in getting you comfortable using the grill in the table. Yes. There is a grill in the table so you can prepare the various meats, seafood and vegetables they supply. And don't forget the sauces. From mild to "do you want a mouth when you finish" hot. There is also a nice selection of prepared food in case you are shy at trying your hand at grilling. But you should try. It's so much fun. And of course I e cream for dessert. Must have that for the be end of the meal. Well worth the money.

This is a really great BBQ with a great selection of meats and seafood for dinner. It's a cool buffet where you get the raw meat and veggies. There is a grill in the middle of every table and you cook you food as a table on the grill. It's nice because the staff constantly changes the grill surface when it gets dirty so you are always cooking on a clean grill. The food selection and taste was great. My favorite was the Korean ribs! It may seem spendy but very reasonable for the quality and selection of food!
