Best lunch buffet. All you can eat of a variety of authentic dishes. Great staff but parking can be a challenge.

Irene Elena Rose

Friendly service, good location, creatively spiced, flavorful food. Full menu service at dinner and a very nice buffet at lunch time, both of which are vegan friendly. Excellent, well stocked bar. Wine selection is adequate, but the beer selection is impressive. Try the Indian beer with your meal. Bon Appetit!

Really really good!

Jack Wright from Woodland

Holy damn is this place good in so many ways. My wife and I ordered two drinks (cocktail and a beer), the eggplant pakora (batter fried), and split the tandoori grill thali (pictured without the naan, basmati rice, sauces, and yogurts), all for less then $40. The food was delicious, and the accompanied dessert (a fried lentil ball in house made syrup) was a perfect finish. They also have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu too. I cannot comment on the authenticity of their cuisine, but it was delicious either way. We are definitely going to be returning here again soon.

ron randall

Nice quiet place for a Saturday Brunch.. Food was good, especially the chicken makhani !

D Lux0002

First time having Indian food and what a great experience. The waiter was very patient with us explaining every item in detail that we pointed to on the menu with spice levels and textures of the item. He also recommended a great Indian beer for the great weather that day. The food was delicious but take in mind it is spicy. The dining area was clean and comfortable. Thanks again for the great experience.

Ahaqir Ishaq

Amazing food and the happy hour prices are great.

BruceArt Bruce

My favorite place, not just to eat but the vibe is up beat and chill. I’ve tried most of their dishes just because I trust this place. It’s been my main place for not just dinner but a drink also

Mahesh Shinde

Ambiance is nice. It could have been little bit more Spicier.

Ashley White

Great foood. All you can eat. What more can I say

Boheme Portland

Good buffet included gulag jamun

Erik McNish

Great lunch buffet at this smallish, family owned establishment. There really isn't anything better than Indian home cooking, and that's exactly what you get here. Good prices, super friendly staff.

Sanjana Balakrishna

Please don't dime here, it's really an insult to Indian food. I went here for a buffet. There were very limited options. Apart from that, the food was not flavorful at all. You're really better off cooking at home than eating at this place. Seriously don't waste your time here.

ganesh akella

I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of their food. And with the prices that they have it’s really worth it. :)

nicole balmos

Very fresh buffet, however, their selection is on the simpler side. I want to see more classic Indian dishes. I've only been here twice because of the lack of variety and both times it was fresh and the service was great.

Malavika Muralidharan

The Gobi Manchurian was the best I've had in a long time! They were the only (Indian) place open late on a Saturday night (limited options after 9:45 PM) but everything we ordered was great!

Karis Lindvall

Very attentive and pleasant customer service. This is a small restaurant but they have all the foods you would expect to see at an Indian buffet. Notably their yogurt and chickpea condiments make a nice compliment to the rest of their food. $10.95 lunch buffet that is well worth stopping in.

Noff Speed

Super service & food

Sarah Garcia

Great customer service and setting. The masala was not as spiced and flavorful as I'm used to, but still was cooked great and was very tasty! Will go back, they have my recommendation.

Bhumika Saivamani

If you are looking for South Indian Food in Portland,This place is the best!! They are so warm and welcoming.Good food with great taste.

Blake Hoss

I don't exaggerate at all when I say this place has absolutely ruined all other Indian restaurants for me. Even my past favorites pale in comparison. I've been coming here for 6 years and have never once been disappointed. Favorites are the palak paneer, chili 65, and chicken biriyani. The buffet is unbeatable. The setting itself is great. Fancy enough to feel like a date spot, but not so much that you can't drop in for a meal in non+date attire. We love the art on the wall. I LOVE the people that work, here too. Often times I call up and they know what I'm going to order by my voice. We often joke that our baby is made of Dwaraka's butter chicken because it was a favorite while my partner was pregnant. Overall, I can stand to eat at other places, but I drive here from the Bethany area where I'm surrounded by Indian restaurants.

Tyler Bell

This is the best Indian restaurant in Portland. The chicken tikka masala is fantastic (and spicy) and the service is really on point. The lunch buffet is a great deal too.

isaac stokes

Excellent food. The mango pudding was one of best deserts I've ever had.

Jolene Johnson

This is the nicest Indian food restaurant. The people who run it are kind. Service is great. The food is wonderful

Great service, food, atmosphere and price.

Phillip Thornton

Best. Samosas. Of. All. Time

Shannon Smith

Nice place to meet and catch up with family. Prices that won't break you.

Michelle Bush

best Malai Kofta in all of Portland!

Sumithra Shenoy

Came here for dinner. We had the Thali upgrade. Taste was very good!!

Dawn Isidora

The. Best. Palak Paneer. Ever. Truly. The rest of their menu is delicious, the service is great, new decor lovely. Try the New Delhi Mule - delish!

Chris Bisgard

Ordered from Dwaraka for the first time via Postmates last night, and was not disappointed. The chicken tikka masala was some of the best I've had, and the tandoori mixed grill kebabs were all delicious. The lamb korma was also good, the the lamb in particular being very tender (I'm a bit picky about this). I've been looking for good Indian food in SE PDX since a favorite restaurant closed a couple years ago -- I'm thrilled to have found this place!

Praveen Reddy

Awesome place. Delicious Indian food and Excellent Service.

Stephan Howard

This place is amazing. I felt like they actually cared that we were there, whereas a few other places you feel like you're just one of many that come through the door. The service was excellent, and the recommendations our waiter provided enhanced the meal and dining experience as a whole. The overall flavor of the dishes, and the presentation of said dishes, were precisely what I have hoped for and failed to receive at the competition. I am delighted that we decided to come here, and I will definitely be returning to Dwaraka over some of the bigger, more boisterous options in the same area.

Patrick LohKamp

I've come here on dates, and I've come in alone, Brought in groups over a dozen people. Have never had bad service or problems with the food orders. Their staff are wonderful and prompt. The prices are a steal, and the food is fantastic. You should try this place next time you're in the area.

Gary Adams

The lunch buffet is an excellent value.

Jessica Prendergast

Loved everything we had!

Adam DeCoste

The food was first rate, but what really made our night was the waiter: Mathew. Just a really great experience!

Dan Rhein

Great buffet and nice bar.

Eric Furlong

Really good food at a fair price.

Rohit Nair

Pretty good food

Brad Galvin

The best malai kofta I've ever had with the sauce a rich mix of smoky, nutty flavor. I've been to around 50 Indian restaurants in my life and this is easily in the top 5. Very kind, gentle man served us and was very attentive. Unpretentious dining area but don't be fooled - the food is excellent.

Trillion Cooper

I can't tell you how good the food is. I drive hours to eat here! The owners are so friendly and the atmosphere is so colorful and fun! I'm a regular and they never fail to impress me! Be sure to get the thali dinner, you get a little bit of everything and it's worth the content fullness after.

Georgette Whilhelm

Exquisite presentation, robust, Smokey flavors and tantalizing spices. Served on traditional metal plates, my first experience was great. Samosa's are available in both veggies and meat, wrapped in a beautifully crisp dough and shaped in a year drop present. The inside was cooked to perfection. As I opened the samosa wonderful aromas of coriander and sumek filled my senses. On the side came three sauces used for garnish. Mint (a refreshingly light sauce) tumeric (a spicier bite) and a more cayanne flavored sauce. All uniquely used to accentuate each bite. I will definitely be back for a main course next time.

Sithat Chayanam

Friendly staff. I asked a lot of questions and our host answered them politely. Chicken Masala was soo good. -1⭐ Its a bit expensive for the portions they serve. $14 for A La Carte and $17 for the next Entree up. Better to go lunch buffet $12 to try the food if your somewhat new to Indian food like me.

Penelope Benavidez

Awesome food and really great service that was very informative and attentive.

Mark S

Love the vegetarian options on the lunch buffet and the friendly attentive service.

Matthew D

Amazing food, great value. They are not afraid to be heavy handed with spices!!

Sarah Larson

This is hands down the best indian food I have ever had. Their samosas (both meat and vegetable) are perfect. Ordered Lamb Saag and Shrimp Korma "For Thali" (with all the sides) and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The heat/spice was also just right, not overwhelmingly spicy. The old fashioned with chai tea was also delicious. Definitely want to come back and try the lunch buffet so I can try as many things on this menu as possible. Highly recommend.

Serra Hadsell

This is my favorite Portland Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is lovely, they encourage kids, and they allow you to order of the menu during buffet hours which is important to me because their veggie korma is the best thing ever and is not part of the buffet. <3

Richa Agrawal

Great food and amazing service. The staff was very polite and service is very fast. Very reasonably priced. Should definitely go for their happy hour menu.

Holly Ramos

Great Food! Large portions. Beautiful presentation. Awesome staff! I want to go during the week and try the lunch buffet looks like they have a large assortment.

Bhanu D

Neat and customer friendly..

Camille Knoles

Almost all of my experience here was delightful. My server was perfect. She was friendly and prompt. The food was great. When I placed the payment on the table and got up to leave, I waited to make eye contact with my server to let her know I was leaving and to say thank you. I guess me hesitating to leave was suspicious and the owner thought I was going to take the money back and leave. I heard him tell another server that and they both stood nearby, watching me. I don't think business owners know how insulting it is to have this happen. Not only am I not being appreciated for choosing their business to spend my money at, but I get treated rudely and unfairly. It ruined the entire experience. I will not be returning.

Luke Johnson

Food is amazing and the service is fantastic! Can't wait to go back!

lily michaud

This is my favorite Indian buffet in Portland proper. I also like that they have some south Indian options on the menu. Another plus: the decor in the women's room.

Ethan Cathey

The best Indian food in Portland.

Tania Close

The staff is friendly and quick. The food is quality and very good filled with flavor. Even when busy, the service is quick. Only criticism is the drinks are small for the price. I recommend and we will be back.

Gavin Clement

Great food service, great Indian food and constant in their quality. The only place to get real spice in your chicken tikka. If you want the real 10 star spicy that isnt just trying to cover up poor flavors this is the place to go. Just make sure to tell your server you want the real spicey.

Brian Sinnott

This place has one of the tastiest lunch buffets in town for a decent price. Hands down. Is one of the few places I could always eat at.

Tyler Macauley

Easily the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. The Tandoori Chicken was flavorful and spicy, as was the tikka massala. The buffet was priced really well and the service was really great. Definitely recommend.

Tyson Simonson

After living in the UK for 5 years where Indian cuisine is a staple I came back in 2012 and have had a hard time finding anything that came close to as good. Well, Dwaraka Indian Cuisine just took my taste buds down memory lane and I have to say set a new standard for me. The best I have ever had!!!! Chris was fantastic and very knowledgeable on what I was looking for and made the experience that much better!!! Thank you so much and we will be back again!!!!!!

Jenna Dwinell

My family has ordered from this place through the Postmates app twice now. It has been incredible! The best Indian cooking I've found since moving to Portland. We've ordered Aloo Mutter, Masala Dosa, Chicken Tikka Kebabs, Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas, and Malai Kofta. Everything has been fantastic. The food is perfect. The flavors are phenomenal. Their naan bread is super good! Mango Lassi is a great drink to go with the spicy flavors. They haven't messed up our orders, which is uncommon with delivery. I've been highly impressed and very satisfied!!

Erica Lincoln

Love this place! I order here at least once a week.

Rebecca Andersson

Very delicious food! Had the sampler appetizer and a shrimp dish cooked in coconut milk and it was delicious!

David Goodman

Simply put, the best Indian food in Portland. They recently expanded their space and now boast a brand-new bar in addition to the traditional restaurant side. The staff and ownership are dedicated to providing a top-notch experience with the service to match. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the restaurant can accommodate a romantic date night for two, a large party, and everything in between. Everything on the menu is spectacular; I usually bounce between the Tikka Masala and the Vindaloo. The food is not too spicy as-is, but if you're a spice-head (like me) Dwaraka can bring the spice! If things get too hot, you can always cool off with a delicious Mango Lassie. Whether you're an Indian food fan or a first-timer, Dwaraka is the place to be!

Chinook2020

Fantastic and authentic food. The service is also great, and the employees are very kind. I cannot vouch for their lunch buffet, however.

Rebecca Ryan

Came here after reading reviews. Really delicious! Each dish has really strong flavor vs other places with more oil than flavor. The paneer tikka masala was sweet which was odd but still delicious. We love the thali option, too! Great service! We will return!

marie fontaine

WONDERFUL food with the sweet energy of Shirdi Baba. Lovely people serving.

Mihir Khare

Food is good - little bit on the spicer side. Staff is friendly and good service.

Chian Yee, Leong梁倩宜

My first visit to this restaurant for dinner. It offers good variety and vegan friendly menu. The overall food taste was really good and at reasonable price. Friendly staff attended to our feedback and request frequently. When we were about to ask for the bill, the restaurant was almost full house. I’ll probably check out its lunch buffet next time.

Bran

Tried many Indian buffets in the Portland area and this, in my opinion, is the very best one. Great, homemade tastes every time. And they just remodeled and expanded!

kalangi rajeev

Tasty, Keep it up... My Brother Eatout here Everytime...

Dinesh Rai

Good place

Saswati Patra

It's good, you will get andhra food test... had such a good meal which remained me of India....

Sean Goiburn

We love the food, we get it delivered if we can't make it to the restaurant

Sumer Gregg

Everything I've had here has been wonderful. The quality of food is tops and service is fantastic. My Indian and Pakistan friends also give it two thumbs up - which puts a lot more weight on the rating, don't you think? Great place for conversation and wonderful food.

Shweta Shanbhag

Good tandoori chicken. They lamb curry was also good. Good service and beautiful ambience

Jackson Wood

The buffet is all I could ever hope for given what they have going on.

Mohanram

Pleasantly surprised by the ambience and authentic food. We tried their dosa and curry and it tasted homely. Quick service and decent price. A very clean restaurant with a great bar.

thelastghouleontheright sharpie

Good snacks, super delicious spicy margaritas

Debbie Dickman

Excellent service. Staff is always helpful and patient explaining the menu for newbies. Food is very flavorful.

Carolyn Aquino

Really enjoyed the paneer makhani

Nathaniel LOVING

Came in for lunch buffet, food is great only $10.95 Couple meat dishes, tortillas, and Indian sauces. Great food. Come in for a quick bite.

Brian K

Very friendly service. Food is VERY tasty and affordable. I'm a repeat customer

Stacy Levine

the place has a cool feel to it.

Sunny Heera

Good tasty Indian food... Good service..

Chris E.

Delicious savory food. The vegetable Somosas were a highlight.

Rachael Jackson

The staff was wonderful, as was the food and atmosphere. I can't wait to make this place a regular food stop!

Hemiketals

Not only is the food tasty but the staff are super personable & the decor & ambiance is beautiful. Their wait staff are so down to earth & have great personalities. Very very fun place & my daughter, this is one of her favorite places to go.

Mister Matty

Tasty food. Overpriced. Our to go order for three people was $60 and none of the containers were labeled, so we didn't know whose food was what. Very likely we won't be getting food here again.

born2 AV8

Eaten here for lunch several times, buffet is awesome good selection and tasty authentic indian food. Priced well!

Miguel Rivas

High quality food with complex flavors. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Portland.

Nadine Berrington

I ordered food from this place tonight through Postmates. Took over 2 hours and the wrong food was delivered. Called the restaurant and the man I spoke with was less then helpful. I even offered to drive the wrong food back myself if they would give me what I had ordered and was told no. Can’t believe how horrible the service is with this place. Will never be going back and wasted my $30

Autumn Pardee

Favorite Indian food in town. Wonderfull family run.

frank acosta

Good food clean restaurant will definitely be back

Joseph Puglisi Clark

Delicious food, excellent service, great prices! What more is there to say. I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend who lives in the area and I plan on going back many more times. I cannot recommend this place enough. The chicken makhani was fantastic!

Christa Miller

OMG this place is so delicious!! I've had amazing Indian food in India, England and Scotland but this is the first restaurant in America that I really liked. I love that they do thali versions of the main course; the sides were wonderful. I had the palak paneer, which is incidentally the first authentic Indian meal is ever Eastern. It was absolutely fantastic!! And am honorable mention to the naan, which was soft and fluffy.

Luke Landis

Really tasteless and just not very good. Took over thirty minutes to arrive.

Ryan Vinyard

Delicious, delicious Indian food with a great lunch buffet and friendly service. Good atmosphere too!

Lzz Johnk

I had never had dosa before this restaurant! It was delicious and incredibly filling, I easily could have split one with my partner. But we're gluttons, so of course we also ordered the paneer tikka masala thali (the thali version comes with a dessert, curry of the day, raita, rice, and naan). And I had no regrets about that. If you want the best of all possible worlds, get the thali version of your entree. I can't speak to authenticity or anything, but it was delicious, if expensive. But I suppose for Portland, the menu was relatively average, price-wise.

Alan Olsen

Every time I have eaten here I have gotten sick. The food tasted good, but later was not fun. I don't know why. My family has had the same problem. Eat at your own risk.

Mohammad Hussain Hussain

Delicious Indian food with a great and friendly service, nice and clean restaurant with a good atmosphere. Great Staff... !!!

Cyrus Nahab

It's the best Indian food in town. Tasty, light, healthy and everything is so clean. Tastes like home-made good no artificial flavoring, no heavy oils. Lots of vegitarian choices too. Tandoori chicken and Turkey are great! Super!

Lance McNulty

Food is always great here. They don't dumb it down for anyone. Great staff that is knowledgeable and friendly.

Laur H

Delish food! Great chai and food. Good selection of food and they also have a bar now too.

Rassam Zarghami

Great buffet, will definitely come back.

Wes Garton

We loved the veggie samosa, they were fresh, crisp, and made in house. Garlic naan, Tikka masala, and mango pudding were all delicious! We look forward to going back!

D E

We've come here for lunch buffets as well as for the a la carte dinner menu. We've enjoyed it both times. Service is attentive and good. Food is filling, spicy, and tasty. Our go-to Indian Restaurant when in Portland.

Max Bauske

I don’t typically review restaurants, but this place is an absolute gem in the neighborhood. It’s great to see the business investing in expanding and the food has never been better.

Keisha Sakata

Amazing service and delicious food!

Hannah Bell

The flavor of my goat curry was good. The part that was disappointing was the fact that it was mostly goat bone and not very much meat. The bones were pretty big chunks. The bowl it comes in isn't very big. I basically paid 13.00 bucks for a bowl of sauce a little bit of goat meat and 2 huge chunks of bone.

Steven

Great food. Server (maybe the owner) was very fun to chat with. Great place.

Aaron Miller

Lunch buffet with lots of vegetarian and vegan offering. Often buffet food is bland to be more broadly palatable, this was full flavor and some decent heat in a couple of the dishes. Full bar, great decor, clean, nice staff.

Eric C.

Their lamb curry and pork curry is really delicious and authentic. Fantastic!

Kurt Brendley

Some of the best Indian food in Portland. I have been coming here for 2 years and love the mutter paneer and naan. Keep it up! The only reason I give the place 4-star is the value. It is a little overpriced. I don’t have a measuring cup but the $14 mutter paneer comes in around 14 ounces. It weighs in less than a pound. I always get a sticker shock reaction when I spend $40+ on a meal and see the proportions when I pick it up. Love to see the price drop by 15% and I would make this place a regular stop.

Sunshine A.

Don't overthink it. 1st experience is great, food authentic and tasty. Kind of overpriced for children, I went with my 2 and 4yr old who only had oranges and doughnuts and paid 20 bucks... Otherwise pretty good for buffet.. don't know about dinner

N Down

Amazing food, great veg/vegan options, the folks there are always super friendly and helpful, I want to try more of their menu but I love the dishes we’ve been getting from there for years!

M D

Dosa was soggy and sambar was watered down. Even the coconut chutney was runny. Below average Indian food. Will try some other place next time.

Camaron

Cute spot for Indian cuisine. I ordered the Aloo Gobi and it was very delicious. I requested mine extra spicy and vegan. Prominent and robust flavors. Our server, Matt, was also very upbeat and quirky. He was helpful and did a spectacular job of making our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend giving this place a try the next time you're craving some Indian food.

Tracy Hewitt

Didn't even recognize the place! Remodeled and added a swanky bar. Excellent liquor selection, and of course amazing food.

Krishna Kondapalli

Food was great and service was good!

Adam R

Great lunch buffet, there are enough choices to keep it interesting. The tandoori chicken is real tasty. I wish they had mango ice cream though. It could be a buck cheaper for what you get, now that I’m thinking about it. Nice flavor though.

Nasim Amiri

this place has absolutely delicious, authentic Indian food; take it from someone who lived and traveled in India for five years. they have great service as well and discretion. we always went there for buffet and i am really sad that i had to leave Portland. They recently had a renovation done and it looks fantastic.

Gaberielle Gonzalez

We have eaten here many times. We have always loved this place, and referred many family and friends. However, we ordered food to go last Friday and was very disappointed. First of all we spent $45 to feed 2 people, and we got a whole lot of rice, and had to hunt and peck for 6 little tiny pieces of meat. The flavors were off too! Not sure if they've changed hands, but they definitely have changed the way they make the food.

Anthony Antonisio

This place is fantastic! According to one of the other patrons, it is recently remodeled and it shows. It is a one room dining room/buffet line, plenty of seating, and table cloths. No complaints on the decor or atmosphere. I can imagine if every seat were full, it might have been a little loud though. For $10.95 it's an all you can eat lunch time buffet. I am a complete noob when it comes to Indian Cuisine, but I know when I put something tasty in my mouth. Everything I tried was wonderful. The rice was soft, the Tandoori Chicken was juicy and spicy, both the Goat and Pork Curry's delighted, and the Bean Curry was a surprise treat for me. It was a slow build, but eventually a spice fire was growing in my belly and so I tried something else foreign to me. To put out that fire I ordered a Mango Lassi, something I'd describe as being a mix of Mango Juice and Yogurt in an almost shake like consistency. As soon as you try it, I promise your eyes and taste buds will light up with joy. While all of that was enjoyable, the true star of the day was the Chicken Makhani! I want this as my last meal, I want this served in heaven, I want this in and around my mouth at all times! I LOVED IT! Highly recommend this dish and Dwaraka Indian Cuisine. 10 out of 10, would go back! No review is complete without at least one complaint, I feel there is always room for improvement and it's important to have goals. It's hard to go wrong with Naan, but unfortunately, it was the least favorite part of today's meal. It was very dense and chewy, while lacking any kind of flavor. It seemed very much like it may have been prepared much earlier in the day and was not refreashed. Still, I thank Dwaraka for their friendly staff, pleasant establishment, and delicious food overall. I wish you all the success.

Francis Grice Jr

Was Amazing! Little spendy and portions not as big as most Indian restaurants.

Imani

Always a treat! Food is delicious, service is wonderful and they welcome us back each time like family! After years of eating at this location, they never disappoint.

Wendy Rowe

Delicious food. Wonderful service. Chicken Tiki Masala with Naan was the favorite.

Sallianne Turley

great Indian food, cool space w/ remodel recently finished.

Evan Bailey

Great food (had the gobi Manchurian, tikki masala, some samosas and pakora), great service and lovely atmosphere. Will be recommending to friends!

Erin B

Great food and atmosphere.

Mike M

The food was well made and the price was reasonable. The majority of the dishes were vegetarian. There was no pokra but a fried dough. There was not a large selection either.

Andrea Jones

We have been here several times and I love it. I have adored Swaggats for years but the quality of the food at Dwaraka is much better, and fresher. The staff has always been very nice. The menu is extensive and very pleasing for meat eaters and vegetarians with its custom options. Makhani is the best!

Tim Brady

Great staff and amazing food

Andy Day

Very tasty, well seasoned, good quality ingredients, and fresh. Very clean restaurant.

Clay Garlow

By far my favorite place for quick classic chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Everything is well seasoned and fresh

Kim Crawshaw

So very delicious. Great service too.

Sarah Noseworthy

I've been going here for years. The staff is great. So excited for them to be open late now. The lamb biryani is my favorite dish, though I have always been impressed with their food no matter what I order. Thanks for everything!

Edward Liljeholm

Good Indian food, the eating area is close but not cramped, but I am not familiar with the taste of South Asian cuisine. Spice is not my forté. The nann was excellent and there are many kinds available.

Raja Reddy

I had experienced an awesome food in this restaurant. Mainly I liked the thalli very much where I could taste different items. Its really authentic Indian style.

Kenny Rich

Great food, timely, and excellent service. Thanks!

Julia Chapman

The pakora here is unbeatable... light and so delicious! Many other good dishes. We keep coming back and are never disappointed.

Harper Group PDX

Amazing food, exceptional customer service! They always make my family feel welcome even with two young kids who are not always on their best behavior.

Aditee Jadhav

Good ambiance, helpful staff. Had chicken curry, roti here. Taste was good, though it could have been bit more spicy.

jeremy rothstein

Dwaraka Indian Cousine is delicious! The whole experience was 5 stars. Thank you Dawaraka, We will see you soon. So good!

Darrell Voss

After reading mixed reviews stop in for launch. Arrived at 11am (just opened (just me NO line )) Was going to do some work, asked to sit along a wall. The hostess rudely said no you sit in the middle row. I ask again very politely, again a very rude NO you sit in the middle row. Another person came out from the back and asked if he could help. I replied only with yes please be nice, after going through this and seeing in the eyes of the hostess she was determined to get her way decided to leave (the best vote is with giving or not giving them business). I had driven across town to have there food. No I will not go back. No i cannot recommend them 1) the rude service and interaction 2) I have not tried the food and did not buy anything. Portland is full of nice restaurants dont waste you resources here.

Swarup Mandal

Indeed a satisfying meal! Loved it.

Nisarg Desai

Great food and many options. You can convert a curry order into a thali which comes with a lot of options. Highly recommended.

PVP Academy

Great food, service, and a wonderful new remodel. Excellent vegetarian options.

Hakil Parcha

Finally, a basket of perfect garlic naan provided dipping pieces for the sauces the lamb and beans sat in. Very filling and very flavorful. Service was impeccable. Worth a visit for celebrating a special event--or creating one.

Parminder Singh

I don’t think people eating here know what Indian food is. Spent $40 on tiny little Thalis , worst food I have tried so for at Indian restaurant .

Paul Smith

Ambiance is average more like a quick Chinese restaurant than an authentic Indian eatery. Food lacks flavor and is not typical Indian fare. If you just want "different" food try it, Indian food is definitely the chefs own creation rather than what you would expect and not a good "creative" better options available!

Anna Ahrens

Took my husband on recommendation of a friend. The curries were very good, great flavor, a little spicy. The lamb was the best I've had. There was a nice variety that came with the meal, and the rice and mango puddings were superb. Very friendly staff, good service, and reasonably priced. Not a fancy place, but a relaxed atmosphere- there were several people at tables nearby studying or reading. We will likely return next time we brave Portland. :)

Brittney Hanset

First are here 5 years ago while visiting Portland from 2000 miles away. Between now and then we have been searching for Indian Food that was as good. No such luck. Fast forward to yesterday. Here we are back in Portland and Dwaraka is still here!! We came in last night and OH MY GOD HOW ARE THE FLAVORS EVEN POSSIBLE. I couldn't stop thinking about it all day today. Too freaking good. Best Indian Buffet in Portland! Their tandoori chicken and naan is to die for, and the goat curry is a must try if it’s on the line. I’ve only been for the buffet but have never been disappointed! So happy for their success and expansion.
