This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Latin American restaurant.
Very friendly, excellent food.. every time I come to Corvallis I always make sure to stop into this wonderful restaurant. The food is never disappointing and the menu is wonderful. Nice view it's just all in all a great place highly recommend. And also my best friend's mom and family love it and they come here every weekend :-) that's how well this restaurant is loved
My wife and I come here occasionally and really like the South American food. The setup of the restaurant is unique; the main dining area is two floors in height and there are multiple dining levels which are situated like stadium seating in a theater. Most people dress in polished casual attire or business casual.
A nice place for a fancy dinner in town. Prices are spendy but it is not too much more than when I go out for sushi. Hoping to try the $30 Wednesday night 3-course dinner in the future.
The food here was excellent, and the service as well! I ordered the chicken and my boyfriend got the Carne Asada. I can say with confidence it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. We've eaten at a lot of nice places in Portland and Del Alma was on par with or better than a lot of them. I wish I remembered our waitress' name because I would have called them back and told them how great she was. We will definitely be returning.
Every plate was amazing. Prices much lower when compared to Portland restaurants. I'll be back!
Awesome! I frequent this place at least 4 times a year traveling through town. Great for the solo flyer or a date night. Nice lounge style atmosphere, semi casual ( though they seated me just fine in my hoodie and yoga pants I was wearing for travel). Fun cocktail selection, innovative food combinations. They have both small plates (tapas) and larger meals ( tho most tapas are plenty for a meal). We didnt LOVE everything we ordered, but we are foodies and have high expectations
Literally the best foodie restaurant in Corvallis. Amazing dishes, fantastic deserts, vast wine collection
The menu here is outstanding. The pairings and complimentary flavors, from tapas to desserts, are unrivaled in the area.
The atmosphere is nice, and the food above average, but it is not worth the price. My date also threw up afterwards, so I can't really reccomend this place.
My favorite restaurant in Corvallis. The food is wonderful, and the staff is very accommodating. Would definitely reccomend to a friend.
Been here about 8 times. It's probably the best place in Corvallis which isn't saying much. It fares from moderate to great. However this evening it was actually quite terrible. I've ordered the lamb shoulder 3 orders in a row multiple times in the last month. The first two times the lamb was, two great cuts of meat laid on top of potatoes and chanterelles. Minimal bone and fat and TWO cuts of meat.Today I was served a 29$ piece of dog food/un chewable gristle. I legitimately almost threw up while searching the lamb steak between the meat flavored bubble gum. The lamb shoulder is usually two cuts of lamb . Tonight only one, and it was pure gristle. I fed it to my German shepherd who loved it.29$ dog food thanks del alma! At least be consistent. If you are going to serve dog food. Just do it. Don't lead me on with good dinner. Then serve me trash. It makes me never want to come back.
We had wine, coctails, apps, and dessert. All were great. The ability to do 2oz wine pours means you can taste a lot more. The dessert was very original with a thick custard and these unique honey and lavender flavored creams. I love when lavender can be appropriately incorporated into food.
We love this place. Tapas and cocktails! Great service! Lovely decor and friendly employees!
Beautiful, delicious dishes. Great atmosphere. Good view of the walkways along the river.
Our waiter Christopher was absolutely awesome the food was amazing and the Savage detective cocktail was on point:-)
Went there with some friends and the food was very unique. Every meal we had was delicious. The atmosphere was great. I didn’t know Corvallis had a resteraunt this good. The only draw back is that the price was a little high, but worth it on that special occasion.
Great service, great food, highly recommended.
This restaurant had great service, an intimate atmosphere, and great food. Definitely going back again.
Really great food, excellent service. The best restaurant in Corvallis OR.
My husband and I have eaten here several times, and each time has been wonderful - their cocktails are spot-on, and the food is delicious and well-presented. Even the simplest of dishes is something special here. We especially love their house salad! Of course, the small plates are wonderful too, each bite is full of flavor and that rarest of things - pure kitchen alchemy. del Alma is easily our favorite restaurant in Corvallis, and definitely in our top three in the state of Oregon! You owe it to yourself to check it out.
Good Tapas restaurant with others to select if wanted
Excellent in every way! Everything was cooked with passion and intention. Best food we've had in a long time!
Loved it, as always.
The food here is sooo good!! We always have the bacon guacamole to start. Just celebrated our 20th anniversary here, great place!!
Excellent. The menu is always fresh, lots of options for an intimate place. Staff know the menu and extensive bar.
Best food in the Willamette valley hands down. The plates are colorful, creative, and delicious. Well worth the price.
Good drinks good food. If you are looking for something a little different. Like Mexican fusion
Quality of food and service was excellent.
If I could give zero stars I would. We arrived after a military social event in uniform. Place was empty however, apparently there is a "party limit" of eight. We were perfectly happy sitting at more then one table but we're asked to leave due to our size of twelve personnel. We decided to go across the street to "The Bistro" which were perfectly happy to accommodate us and take our money. Will never, ever, go back to Del Alma again.
Nice atmosphere, superb food, friendly staff.
Beautiful view of the Riverwalk. Great friendly service. Excellent food.
Super nice staff. Good food.
An amazing place, blew me away. Started with tapas, bacon guacamole, roasted beets and albondigas… all truly perfect. Presentation and taste were wonderful. Everyone loved the mains as well, Yucatan pork, Cuban chicken & camarones. It’s rare that I get desserts, but based on the previous items I thought we should try them. They were delicious and quite large, I don’t think anyone in our party actually finished them. The service was perfect, very well paced and attentive. The space is quite nice, downtown by the river, with modern surrounding and a stepped seating area. It makes for a very elegant experience, all while being relaxed. I don’t live in Corvallis, but will go back as soon as I return, can’t wait.
Probably the fanciest place in Corvallis but don't let that scare you away, college kids!! You can get the biggest bang for your buck on Wednesdays where they have $30 three course meals! Perfect for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, etc.
Distinctive food made carefully with the finest ingredients. Always a delightful culinary adventure to eat at del Alma. Avocado mousse ! Delicata enchiladas topped with cilantro sprouts. Beets with marmelade. Guacamole was special with hazelnuts! Loved this meal.
I have been here several times and del Alma has become a favorite dinner spot. Every Tapas plate or larger plate is always fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared.
Fantastic food with friendly, attentive service and great ambiance. So happy to find this gem next door to the Marriott Courtyard on my business travel! I will definitely be back.
Steak was great! The fish seemed under cooked. When brought up to our waitress we were informed they cook their fish to the equivalency of medium to medium rare. Never heard of that except in sushi. Hard pass on the fish! Again, great steak! Good drinks and dessert.
Atmosphere = upscale. Price= $$$ Dine here, sit at the bar, its gorgeous and the food is delicious.
Cameronies a la crema was amazing!!! One of the best plates of food I have ever had.
Amazing big plates. Like AMAZING. In retrospect, I wouldn't bother with anything but their big plates.
Such a pleasant experience! Ask for Carl! Yummmmy food!
Awesome service. Great food.
The filet mignon was delicious and the tenderest steak I've ever had.
Delicious food
Great experience!
Good food
Incredible food. Great staff. Excellent drinks. Nice happy hour specials. Always a satisfying experience.
Fantastic food. Great service. End to a beautiful day
Price for beers was good. Pozole tasted rather bland and portion was small for $8 in my opinion. Coworker ordered crab enchiladas; 2 small ones that barely had crab was about $30. If I came here for a professional dinner/intimate dining, I would definitely appreciate the ambiance and service much more. As it stands though we felt underwhelmed..
went for dinner but ended up with tapas... salad a disappointment great drinks and great service... feeling guarded on a more than average rating after all the hype... maybe spring break a factor... It was my Birthday dinner....
My favorite restaurant in town. Best steak ever!!
Very nice atmosphere! A bit upscale which is refreshing in a town saturated with brewery's.
Great food and staff.
Always amazing!
By far the nicest and most upscale restaurant in town with fantastic options for every pallet. Dinner venues are open to rent and are great for work meetings or party's. The staff is very friendly and do strive to exceed every expectation. Plan to dress a little nicer when dining here. Fun fact, famous actor Steve Buscemi is the owner.
Wonderful service and truly unique and delicious food! Love love love it!
Possibly the best restaurant in Corvallis. Every dish, cocktail, and dessert is meticulously composed and utterly delicious. The cochinitas pibil and filet mingon were the stars of dinner; the chocolate cake is unbelievable.
Absolutely the best meal and tapas you can get south of Portland. Excellent food, service and atmosphere for dining in tapas or Latin fare that can't be missed if your in the area. Truly remarkable!
Very good food, great service!
Very good food and the ambience is amazing!
The service at this place was amazing. Always had a full glass of water, waiter was there in a timely matter as well as not being to up in your bussiness. The tables are a good distance from one another and you feel that your conversation remainds private. Atmosphere was great as well. Only negative about this, the crab enchilada was somthing to be desired. There was little crab in it. The Filet mignon was delicious ,as was the bread dippers and desert. The drinks were also made wonderfully.
A dining experience! Lots of tapas, all have some kind of peppers incorporated into them--even salad had a garlic jalapeno buttermilk dressing--oh not the dessert. My mom and I ate there, 3 tapas, 3 cocktails, 1 dessert for $63 before tip.
wonderful food, service and atmosphere!
Excellent food to go eat and enjoy the river and they have a little special treat for your birthday.
Excellent food and drinks as always
We ate at del alma on saturday night and had a great meal. The king salmon was perfectly grilled. Had a very nice Riesling from the Mosel. Very clean mineral character and excellent with the meal. The best surprise was the dessert, a wonderful stacked creation with a small scoop of hazelnut icecream on a deepfried crspy crackly platter lightly sprinkled with cinnamon dotted with flavored anglaise and all this perched on a hockey puck sized delicious custard. Thanks to our server Francesca for suggesting it and for great service
Great food, great service.
Expensive but delicious. Great staff.
Excellent food and service!
Delicious but you're looking at a solid 100-130 dollar date for 2.
Ducle del alma has amazing tapas and desserts. Great wine flights as well. Key lime pie is killer.
Amazing service, fantastic food! We went for our first anniversary and can't wait to be back.
Loved it! Unique cuisine, delicious!! A great friend of mine suggest del Alma an anniversary dinner. Wow! Very very unique flavors that leave you wanting more!
It wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The food was average. The prices were on the upper end of modest. And the staff we had was only minimally knowledgeable of the menu. It wasn't unpleasant or disgusting, just wasn't my favorite. I may give them another shot down the road, but with so many great eateries and other new places to try in Corvallis, I probably won't be back for a little while.
Wonderful dinner, followed by an excellent dessert. Our waiter Haven was very attentive and helped make our evening perfect. Thank you!
Food was really good. Our server was excellent, very attentive.
Food and cocktails excellent, the service while competent was not at the level of an upscale restaurant. The server was pleasant but detached and inattentive. I will go back but the staff needs coaching.
My wife and I had the pleasure to enjoy Rabecca this evening. The food and service was *****. First time in and planning next visit. Everything on the menu sounds good.
Wonderful place!! Beautiful drinks and tapas was our choice last night. The poblano chili relleno was out of this world delicious!! We will be back for sure.
Very high quality using fresh ingredients! Beautiful plating and AMAZING flavor! I wanted everything on the menu and will definitely be back
Just amazing! Always great food and service. My husband and I share a few tapas plates and always leave satisfied.
Solid food. Nothing mind blowing. Pretty generic "upscale modern restaurant " look. Definitely the only thing like it in town though. Impressive cocktail list (even though I didn't love mine, just think I ordered wrong for myself).
Oh my goodness!! I've been here 3 or 4 times. It's beautiful. Gorgeous! I always dress up because the occasion of just going there warrants it. This most recent time, my fiancé surprised me with a birthday dinner date, and we had a marvelous time. Our server, Lydia, was so professional and friendly. Our food was everything we hoped for. I just felt perfectly at ease, ready to be delighted, and they pulled through marvelously! We were absolutely satisfied with everything, and look forward to the next time we have reason to treat ourselves to another evening there.
Absolutely fantastic and the “go to” place in Corvallis for fine dining. Superb food in every sense: ingredients, flavor, and presentation. Service has always been fantastic, and while it’s pricier, you definitely get what you pay for.
The scallops were the best we ever ate! The filet mignon was wonderful. We always try something different, but these two are my favorites now.
Smart service and delicious food.
Perfect for a classy night out. Menu is Latin x PNW, for example Guac has Hazelnuts and Relleno has Basil Oil on the plate. Sangria is outta this world!
This restaurant is great!! They focus on Latin food and have great drinks. They are a bit on the spendy side for both food and drink. Average spirit is $9. They have a great variety of gluten free options. The atmosphere is great, I've gone for a date night and with a group of girls. Food is delicious!!
Wonderful service, FANTASTIC food. Don't miss out on this experience
Fine dining in a Corvallis! Excellent food and a great experience.
I have been here twice best food I have ever had the meatballs weren't very good though, to salty. Recommend going in on Wednesdays for the $30 3 course meal with dessert.
Wonderful place great eats
The food here is really really good. And of course it's plated so well you just have to take a picture of it. We had ceviche to start (forgot to take a picture), the mole lamb, and the jericalla con buñelos for desert. The desert was hands down the best part. Not to say the mole lamb wasn't delicious! The mole sauce was quite rich and went well with the lamb without over powering it. Our waitress was wonderful, and very nice about answering our questions. It's a decently fancy place, with prices to match so keep that in mind!
Awesome filet mignon. . . Bizarre desserts!
There's a lot to like about Del Alma - I have dined here about a dozen times, so it's not bad - but it's not as good as it should/could be either. Their wine bar has a great deal of potential but their red wines are kept upright in the room, many have been there for some time, and I don't want to drink 68 degree red wine and certainly don't want to take one home (and their small selection is very good). I love wine flights but it takes so long for them to arrive and the amounts are so spartan that by the time you've gone through the flight you are ready to order another and their poor servers are running around like crazy because there aren't enough of them (big applause to the one young guy who does most of the work - he needs assistance!). Anyhow, I go to Del Alma, like the food, it's a bit sterile and bank-like, but all in all I like it but the service lacks (as there aren't enough servers) and they aren't on top of their wine bar experience enough to make it the kind of place to hang, drink and spend money. Have been waiting to review them hoping to give them more stars than this as I will no doubt return as it's really the only grown up place to dine in Corvallis of any note.
When it comes to finding a place to eat in Corvallis that really tastes divine, del Alma is definitely the one. Always delicious, incredible food, local ingredients, professional and friendly service, and a romantic atmosphere. This place is worth every penny. The menu changes, which lets you enjoy different flavors. Their bread is interesting and scrumptious and the tapas are a yummy treat. Always look forward to special occasions at del Alma!
Not what I was expecting but really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. NOT my definition if Tapas as the portions are larger. In Spain you would need at least 3-4 tapas for a meal. My husband and I ordered 3 total and could not finish. Bread with 3 dips was served right away. Very nice bar atmosphere, formal dining as well. Happy hour specials most things $2 off. High end Latin American dishes, several vegetarian options, so nice to have a interesting vegetarian meal. We shared bean and goat cheese dip with chips, cannot remember the name but it was good. My husband does eat meat, lamb was a little strong, he thought my dish of chili rellano was better. Single poblano chili stuffed with a goat cheese mixture, crusted in cornmeal surrounded by white beans and 2 sauces. It was different and delicious. Our total bill with 2 drinks was $56, very reasonable for such an enjoyable evening. Next time I will save room for desert as there were several interesting options there too.
They told us they do not carry diet beverages. Portions were small. My tuna was severely overcooked and I had made point of suggesting more rare was better. They made a big deal of leaving roasted peppers out of a dish, my mom is sensitive. For what it's worth the wait staff were outstandingly good an apologized way more than should have been required. I simply was very underwhelmed and thought the restaurant didn,t measure up.
My Wife and friends spent two hrs. Had a bottle of wine and dinner, a really nice comfortable relaxing place. Thanks
Great private room, outstanding fixed menu for our group of 30.
Great place for a very nice dinner in Corvallis. Pricey, but worth it for the quality they are serving.
Always delicious, high quality food and excellent service.
Outstanding service, inspired food, really a great experience, special occasion meal or just a wonderful evening.
Oh my god man, every time we go here we’re almost dead from eating too much. Their tapas menu is pretty big, but everything we’ve tried has been really ornate and delicious... then we almost kill ourselves finishing dessert. We keep saying we’ll come in for just drinks and dessert, but we just end up doing a full dinner because it’s so good.
Excellent food, super nice ambiance... I am looking forward to coming back. The pork BBQ is delicious. The halibut was fine too. If you love chocolate definitely get the truffle dessert.
Great atmosphere with excellent Latin fusion food and great service. We went for the Wednesday 3 course special and every course was delicious. Best tacos I've ever had!
Amazing food and drinks for only slightly more than you would pay at other places in town. Everything made in house, excellent service.
Great food and excellent selection of drinks.
Exquisite food, wonderful service.
What!? This place is so good. To be fair, I’ve only been here for wine and dessert, but it’s been fantastic every time.
Food, atmosphere, drinks amazing as always best restaurant in Corvallis hands down!
Wonderful vegetarian options. Attentive wait staff. Lovely setting.
Wonderful tapas and drinks! Highly recommend. The price for tapas and drinks is pretty reasonable and well worth it compared to other places in town.
The only place I eat in corvallis. Please open for breakfast and lunch I'm tired of skipping breakfast because there's nothing edible in this town.
Had prom dinner there and the scallops with pork was phenomenal. would recommend 10/10.
Amazing cocktails and dishes. Honestly, some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Although quite spendy, it's worth every penny for a special occasion.
Excellent food, fine cocktails and terrific service. Emily took great care of us.
Ambiance great! Food great! Drink selection great!
We just wandered in out of the rain not knowing what to expect. They accepted us without reservations, under dressed and hungry. We had a great dinner and excellent service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was delicious but the Cuban chicken made one of us sick the next day. Dining room chairs were not comfortable.
Great food and ambiance!
The food and service I experienced was top notch! I would recommend to anyone! Especially a couple on a nice evening out together!
Superb. Always.
Very tasty cuisine. Interesting drink selection.
Truly amazing. Great food, drinks, and service.
Best food in Corvallis
Delicious food, varied menu, reasonable prices.
Excellent good food & large list of creative cocktails well made.
Great food, exceptionally good service
Only had food at the bar, but the drinks and the tacos I got were delicious. Going again for a nice sit down dinner.
Fine dining
Fancy Mexican food
Delicious dinner and desserts
Delicious food and classy service. Great wines.
Halibut was good. Fillet mignon was great! For deserts, the cinnamon custard was alright, not too flavorful and what looks like ice cream, is not. The truffles were great, very rich! Good to share.
Delicious! Carne Asada
This place has long-been, and remains, the best dining experience in Corvallis. The food is carefully prepared, the atmosphere it's inviting, and the service is exceptional. It's also very nice to see do many long term employees here, a sign that the restaurant fosters a good working environment too. Bravo!
