Appropriately priced delicious food. Love the margaritas. Friendly staff. I recently tried their coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.

Food was good, sauces good, beer good, service good, BUT...I ordered a chile relleno burrito, and it came with a hard stem in it. They apologized, replaced the burrito; all good, mistakes happen. I bring that second burrito home, warm it up the next day, THERE'S ANOTHER HARD STEM IN IT. Someone fell asleep at the grill that night, I guess. Really unfortunate, because I was prepared to like this place. Also, might as well say this while complaining: miniature dining space. Two areas to choose from, one in front, one in back. Front's fine, back's right by the kitchen entrance and restroom with tiles popping up from the floor, loud noises, questionable smells, etc. Half the restaurant, therefore, seems unsuitable for dining, frankly.

The food here is mediocre at best. I'd probably go again if a friend wanted to, but there are so many places that taste better. In addition, the service was slow enough I had begun to think they had forgotten about us behind the wall. Well, at least the horchata wasn't bad...

We stumbled upon this place on Sunday. They have happy hour all day long. The special margarita pitcher is a good option for those who like a lot juice in their margaritas, but I found it way too sweet with the juice. It’s very well priced. They whole menu was pretty yummy. So definitely try them out but be warn portions are bigger so don’t order everything just because it’s happy hour. Don’t order the pitcher either just do individual drink orders. The service was incredible as they are attentive and the food was quite well done!

I always forget how disappointing this place is until I end up there. All the other locations I've been to were terrific, which is probably why I forget how bad this particulate one really is. Both the food and service are regularly sub par. Margaritas were admittedly alright though. Plenty of other great food options within walking distance. I'll have to remember this for myself in the future.

We came in with a group of 7 for lunch on a weekday and were welcomed with warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa. The staff quickly and smoothly pushed together tables to accommodate our group. The restaurant was packed by 12:22 and it's easy to see why: the food is fresh and delicious, the margaritas come in a variety of tropical flavors, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the servers are attentive and kind.

Delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices for being in downtown Portland. It's a rather small venue with limited seating (maybe 30 seats?) but all the staff are very friendly and the food is very good. Service is pretty fast as well, we went in during Cinco de Mayo and they were very busy however our food was ready in about 10 minutes.

I lived around the corner from the Broadway one, and it was my go-to for tacos and burritos for many years. This joint is by my office and is great to visit on lunch ever week. Free chips and salsa is also a huge bonus as it's probably my favorite snack of all time

Friendly service, but a bit slow. Red enchilada sauce tasted like Campbell's soup, the beef enchilada was tough and all the food came out only slightly warm. Street tacos were very meager in size, even for street tacos, and like the enchilada, were not served hot. The chorizo street taco did not taste good at all. Won't be going back. If it weren't for the friendly staff, it would be one star rating.

Food was good, very authentic, I am Mexican, and live in the heart of LA, so I know my Mexican food! Portions were fairly large! Rice water (horchata) was delicious! Atmosphere is quiet. If you walk there from Pioneer Square, you are definitely going to burn some calories on the walk there, so you won't feel bad after the large meal!

Loved this place food is Authentic Mexican food! Definetly a must when visiting Portland again!! The cashier super sweet and helpful cook even came to my table to ask what sauce I wanted on my enchiladas red or green. I had the combination plate 1 taco and 1 enchilada with rice beans and OMG their guacamole!

the food was delicious and the los nachos was amazing. whats with all these people saying it was terrible. the service was the best the lady was very nice. as a mexican myself i say white people should just stick to there taco bell keep in mind all the bad reviews are from white people the enchiladas and mole is supposed to be soaked in mole. this place is a 5 star rating highly recommended

Such a strange experience. I took my family who was visiting from out of town to the Glison location this evening. After we ordered our food the man cooking told us that he would not cook our food because he was angry at the person working the register. He said that he and the other man that were cooking refused to cook our food because of an argument that he was having with the guy working the counter. So sad and disappointing. As I waited to try and figure out what was going on in the restaurant the cook continued to motion for me and my family to leave. We finally left and went to dinner elsewhere.

Not so good-Ordered takeout- fish taco tasted so bitter and instead of the four we ordered, we only received two when we got home. Fish also had several bones in it. Worst Mexican food I've had in a long while

Great ingredients! Horrible service. Sign above cash register offers gurantee to try and achieve %100 satisfaction of customer service, yet non can be found. No offer of silverware, if would like to order any drinks or sides. We had never been there to understand how the restaurant works. Seems it's best to order to go. However, I would never return!

I ordered enchiladas with mole thinking I'm gonna get some good enchiladas and instead got a plate drowned in mole inside and out. We asked for water and didn't get it either. I won't be returning to this place. The tacos weren't bad though...

This is a great whole in the wall, good value tex-mex place. They have recently started offering flavored margaritas. Everything is made fresh to order with lots of flavor. Even though the place is small, the menu is not. They offer several choices of meat and fish prepared in all the normal dishes. This is where the locals go to grab some take out.

Great spot!! Cha Cha Cha is always a good go to for authentic mexican food. Highly recommend. This is a perfect location right downtown. They have amazing options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, they have it all. Definitely recommend checking it out. Wholesome bowl, Power Bowl and Prickly Pear Margs... yummmm
