Food is decent but above average cost. They put lettuce on their nachos, which was a first for me and wasn't especially appealing. Tables need to be re-varnished as they are pretty sticky. Overall, you'll find a better deal at Muchas Gracias, El Burrito Loco, Don Pedro or Troutdale Burrito Shop.

It was okay. I ordered two items and only got one. I told the cashier about it and she asked for the receipt. She apologized and brought out my other item. She gave me the wrong item. She asked for the receipt one more time. It took 15 minutes to get my other item. She didn't seem to happy.

Really great Mexican food! Probably the biggest, most flavorful and *cheapest* burritos in Portland at $5 for a Combo Burrito(beans, rice, pico,and your choice of meat) its a steal. The staff is usually incredibly accommodating, my family can be picky and they've always tried to make right on any issues we've had and even let us buy a larger amount of sour cream on occasion when we have several burritos and the side cups just won't do. I personally love their carnitas but have heard good things about the seafood and breakfast burritos.

Casa del Sol is always amazing. The super burrito is the size of a midgets torso. The asada is top notch. Prices are great and the hot sauces (salsas) are even better. The orange habanero sauce is killer. So flavorful and hot, and sometimes depending on the batch has a wonderful smokey flavor. Beware though, you’ll have a serious case of ‘after burn’ if you have too much. Still worth it though.

This place is delicious! Reasonably priced too. I got a large “all meat burrito with guac for $5.75 . Salsa bar and grilled onions sitting out. I actually used less salsa than normal because it was so good without. If you go to Taco Time, you’re an idiot.

The ONLY authentic place IN ALL OREGON . I have been to other places that claim to be authentic I'm a Mexican and this is the closest place you're going to get it to authentic food. And it is the best! I'm a very picky person so when it comes to delicious food whether it's a bomb salad or big servings this is the place I always have leftovers :-)

Mildly surprised to find legit Latin Food in Portland. This place would give the Restaurants in So Cal some serious competition. Casa del Sol is just a few blocks from where we were staying. Everything we ordered here was tasty and well portioned. We'll definitely come back again if we're in the neighborhood. Big shout-out to Karen and the gang here at Casa del Sol. I particularly liked the Carne Asada Chimichanga, mine was perfectly fried/toasted on outside with nice juicy meat on the inside.

I tried the chile relleno burrito and it was great (I like my chile rellenos and certainly liked it in burrito form). I might try out more local places but I think we found our spot already.

Funny when you have a respectful legitimate concern or the order was wrong&you kindly ask for what you ordered or you even want to give a compliment or inform of a safety hazard like sharp jagged metal&staples in the food[usually figure that out after your kid takes a bite of food&ends up biting the metal] and their answer is there's no manager to respectfully address it with...when asking to kindly speak with the store manager or anyone in charge "we don't have one, no luck!" looking down they're nose at you...their food was actually good when there wasn't any chunks of metal added for flavor;)

I'll start with this: they have juice on tap. You order a drink and you go to what looks like a soda fountain, but instead of pop, it's fresh, tasty juice. They have pineapple, mango, tamarind, coconut, horchata, and a few more I can't remember. I like mixing two together and going back multiple times to try new flavors. Pro tip: save the creamy horchata for last, as it makes a great dessert. The food is pretty standard Mexican. You order at a bar and they serve you at a table, which gives it a nice casual feel. Plus the bright colors and telenovelas make it feel cozy and relaxed. They also have a salsa bar, so you can pick your poison. Overall, the food is good and has made it a go-to for Mexican food.

This is a hole-in-the-wall place with just 4 tables and you order at the counter. But the food is delicious and the price is right. I had a taco salad that was stuffed with meat, and I mean stuffed! I could barely finish it. Just $6.50 and totally worth it. Plus they had sauteed onions and a small assortment of condiments. The only thing was, they don't have pico de gallo, and I didn't care much for the 4 salsas they offered. Otherwise, this is an above average Mexican meal at a below average price.

Food is pretty awesome. I mainly get bacon breakfast burritos. They are large and delicious. For lunch, I usually get carnitas or Carne asada all meat burritos, very good as well. They have 4 different sauces available through the drive thru. I get the avocado sauce. Only issue I have is that it opens at 9, I wished it opened an hour or two earlier. But, that is a small issue for an awesome place.

I like their Tacos, but I did just try the Veggie Burrito today and I didn't like that. It was just a huge mess, and it really wasn't good. I took a few bites and ended up tossing it. I was kinda sad, and I paid $5.50 for it. Should have stuck with my usual Tacos! Anyways... I will still come for the Tacos, because it's close to home and convenient.

Had chili relleno and chicken enchila platter for $11 at the drive through yesterday. EXTREMELY small portion for the price, and I’m a tiny girl. The lady working drive thru, handed me the bag all sideways through the window. (It was approximately 11:30-noon, on Saturday 11-10-2018). Not even caring that the contents were spilling all sideways. I was really shocked she handed it to me like that, but didn’t show it. (Maybe she doesn’t like white girls, or something)?
